my stay at hotel
I didn’t like cleaniness .The coffee machine was in bathroom.That is weird,and risky for health.Also tea and coffee were on bathroom counter.These things normally appear on hotel bedroom table. The picture of the hotel is deceiving.From the picture it looks like a good a hotel ,but when you go in you see that it is like an ordinary motel.They should put the inner side pictures on website.

The tv didnt work, bathroom door didnt close, bed was super itchy, breakfast consisted of a couple dry good options, hazardous chemicals by the stairs, overall unpleasurable experience but worth the money I guess?
My overall stay was good ,room clean and bed was conformable.
The staff was very nice.
I booked the night online with our company card. When I arrived I had to show the card, which the owner of my company had back in SD. No where on the reservation did it say to bring it so I had to pay with my personal account. The room was filthy. There were still sticky rings from people's drinks on the nightstand. The fixtures in the bathroom were dusty. There were also homeless digging in trashcans and some men loitering near the elevators, leaving me more comfortably taking the stairs to the fourth floor.

A reasonable price for a hotel that's technically in Manhattan Beach. Room was clean if simple. Staff was friendly and helpful.

3.5 miles to Manhattan Beach. 2 of the 4 front desk people we dealt with were very professional and nice.
Brought a team of high school athletes for a tournament. On our first night there, one of our athletes found a bag of meth in the TV stand. They called the chaperone and one of our parents (a police officer) to come resolve the problem. I went to the front desk, furious that they would check us in to a room where a minor would find this. I demanded the hotel manager call me. I never received a call. It's an older area, but there are much nicer hotels at comparable pricing on the same street like the Baymont. Had issues with the rooms facing outside... smoke from smokers drifting into our rooms, etc.
