Great location, nice breakfast. Old bathroom, better renovate it. Only one plug in the room.
Location was excellent - so near the main square - and breakfast on the balcony looking across to the main Mosque was awesome
The location is great and very helpful staff Our room was released to us without having been cleaned, which caused a very bad impression.
price location friendly good information honest good food
I email the hotel to inform then about my late arrival and also to ask if it was possible to organize my pick-up at the airport...They never answer and they told me I've never emailed...
It was situated in a good location convenient for the City and airport The room was very dark, the lighting was too subdued, the TV was defective and there was no hot water
Loaction and access improve room lightings! to be brighter!!!!
Location of the hotel: just in front of Koutoubia and next to the main touristic places in Marrakech. The way they present the hotel let guests expect more in terms of services, comfort and cleanliness.
The location is amazing! Literally across the road from Koutoubia Mosque and 2 minute walk from Djemaa el Fna square. There's a really good restaurant upstairs also with nice views around the mosque. The rooms are clean and my bed was very large! Will stay there again for sure. At 5.19am every morning the mosque across the road starts its "call to prayer" which will certainly wake you from your sleep. But its a unique experience.
I did not stay, as I had to leave immediately when I saw the Hotel I liked nothing in this Hotel. In fact what was written about the Hotel on the webside was cheeting, or at the best, misleading. This is absolutely not a 3 stars Hotel. It is below zero. The best thing the person in the reception did, is he booked me in another Hotwel, Hivernage, but I paid him the first night, even if I did not stay.
Traditional decor but luxurious everything was wonderful
The hotel was like a palace and the room was amazing. The roof top indian restaurant was excellent and the hotel was in the centre so very near to all of the local attractions, perfect location.
Great location. This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel. We have enjoyed our stay each time. The rooms are excellant, breakfast very good, ample choice from the buffet. Would strongly recommend.
Excellent Spa facility, very helpful staff @ front office, housekeeping & spa. Food @ the Moroccon restaurant was super. The service and food at the Indian Restaurant was of poor quality.
The facilities of the hotel and its surroundings, on one side, and the comfort of the room on the other side. We checked out at 9.30 Pm, upon our arrival from the desert and were told that in the following day it would be possible to extend our stay in the room, until leaving to the AirPort (later in the afternoon), but we would have to confirm it with reception after breakfast. We have done so, but were told that a group was entering and so we had to leave at 12am. They new that beforehand so they could have given us another room... We actually didn't have time to enjoy the hotel at all (and we were on an expensive room, at least among our 5 nights stay in Marrakesh and surroundings)).
The Cocktail bar was super, the Indian/Thai restaurant was poor and the staff were very inexperienced in that restaurant. The rest of the Hotel was enjoyable. The food was of a poor standard we ate out as a result, which was a pain and an inconvenience, the breakfast was not of the normal hotel standard.
The hotel is exceptionally well located to the old city attractions and the rooms are generous in size. Service could have been better.
Everything. The location, just metres from the square. The tranquility of the hotel. Superb breakfast. The heated rooftop pool. The four excellant restaurants.Fantastic 5 star hotel. NONE
The tranquility of the hotel, swimming pool and central location The attitude of the staff and lack of organisation/speed of serving customers
We could relax in a patio. The staff had hospitality.
The staff was disorganized and dishonest. They strung us along for several hours about attempts to fix the AC in our room only to finally admit there was no AC in the hotel in February (despite being a warm and muggy night) after we confronted them with the fact that every room had its windows open.
Welcoming, helpful staff. Beautiful Riad with a definite wow factor in a peaceful setting, just a few steps from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech centre. We had room 307 - it has a private terrace, well worth the price. This Riad is a must for any visit here. 10 out of 10
The staff were very friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was cleaned quickly and efficiently whenever we went out. The shower broke and was fixed within the hour. The room was a little small, but we soon grew to love it's cosy charm!
On the plus - the team is very friendly and the transfers I arranged trough the hotel were perfect. Hassle free experience. Location is good, close to the main square. Also: from reading some feedback here I did not expect much from breakfast, but I enjoyed it every day. No cold-cuts or cheese, but always something hot, fresh bread, fabulous juice and great coffee. Unfortunately also some minor points, due to which I would hesitate to book this particular riad again; Making sure I did not have the room without a window (as read on here) I sent an email asking for this. The reply was that the room I booked for sure had a window. Upon arrival it turned out to be a stained-glass windownì (so no view) in the bathroom. The room I had was extremely small and the bed was horrible. a/c was right above the head of the bed, so you wake up with a cold. The bathroom was terrible. Mold everywhere in the shower and a dirty mold- stained shower curtain in front of it. The room has a wooden panel door that closes with a padlock. Steep stairs, hard to go up and down with luggage. So, don't book the Haute Jardin room
Helpful staff and view from roof terrace. Our room was very small, smelly and windowless
Excellent service, friendy staff, beautiful Riad. The pool just adds that little bit extra, superb after a hot days walking in the Souks!
The staff were extremely helpful with everything and friendly with it.
lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Centrally located and a beautiful riad
The Riad was a completely new experience. Beautiful inside an oasis of tranquility. Being woken up every morning at 5.30am by the nearby mosque and then 6pm by the birds chirping.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful, particularly Nadija. It was such a great experience to stay in an old Riad which was so comfortable and has been so well modernised. The location was great, tucked away from the main streets but still in the middle of it all. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and when we returned to our hotel room there were roses and champagne waiting for us- wonderful!
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location, Rooftop pool very welcome. Great atmoshere. Our room (basic) was very small. Larger rooms may be a better choice.
