Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the first room assigned was a smoking room and a non-smoking was requested.

Pros: Room quality. Nicer than most apartments. Front desk staff was very helpful, and the fact that they throw in breakfast and dinner really helps out a lot. This is WAY better than anything in the area that I researched. Room had a nice TV, with accessible USB ports (not those hotels that block them so you can't plug anything else in). Nice kitchen area had utensils, microwave, huge refrigerator, and a sink. Bed was king size and plenty of pillows. Bathroom was clean, linens were clean, and the wifi worked well enough to stream firestick, etc. Also like that I only had to enter the password ONCE, and not every DAY, like a lot of other hotels.
The chef at dinner time was very nice, and wanted to know how I enjoyed the food every night - soliciting feedback, etc. Both meals provided, while not 5 star food were very good and plentiful. Compared to what you get when you pay FAR more in Vegas or NYC, this place was a good value. Parking was also not an issue.
Cons: I found some of the staff during the meals and roaming the hallways to be a bit terse. I know New Yorkers are different but I expected a lighter demeanor for someone in the hospitality industry. There were several instances where I had to track someone down in the dining area to bus the table from the people who had eaten there before me, or to simply ask for a diet soda to drink. There is plenty of coffee and tea, but no other drinks unless you ask for them. Reminding a customer that they COULD be charged for a soda seems a little ridiculous when the food, fruit, and cookies, are unlimited.
My room bordered a courtyard, per my request - however I didn't know it would be outside the two meeting rooms. There were times where it got a bit noisy, but didn't really impact me too much. I'm not going to complain about the layout, but if you go there expecting total silence you should ask for a room away from such a place.
There was an ant in the bed the first night, and a beetle in the bathroom the second night.... in April. I know I didn't bring them, but what can you do? It wasn't an infestation. I would still stay at this place before going anywhere else in the area.
Pros: Good location with large but uninteresting accommodations.
Cons: Dissatisfied with housekeeping. Didn't get to our room until after 5;00 pm. Slipshod job - took but did not replace coffee cups. Did not replace coffee pods despite requests. For this price point expected better.
Pros: The staff was great Brendan was a gentlemen
Adjacent to a golf course, The Inn At Fox Hollow Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Woodbury. After visiting the 24-hour fitness center for a workout, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at one of the 2 bars/lounges. An outdoor pool and a poolside bar are other highlights, and apartments at this Art Deco property offer conveniences like kitchenettes and sofa beds.
Pros: It was very nice that you had a bar and restaurant in the lobby, and offered a small little convenience store.
Cons: The location of the TV in the room. I like to be able to watch TV in bed before I go to sleep.

Pros: I like that is was extended stay with families and pets. Felt more like home than hotel
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. Very ice front desk people and very accommodating. Bed was very soft and breakfast was very good also. Met some friendly people there. Love the little kitchen in there. Wish I could stay longer.
Cons: I did not like that they charged for dogs. I have stated many hotels that were pet friendly for free.
Pros: Staff and room and location were great. The breakfast was 5 star and plentiful.
Cons: They use an airport shuttle service whose driver thinks it is okay to wake up the entire complex with his music. I had to leave my room to yell at him at 0430 am.
Pros: Friendly staff, lovely rooms, perfect location, felt like a home away from home. Also LA Fitness about a mile away plus movie theatres and Adventureland. My sons loved watching the planes take off and land at the adjacent airport.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect!!!
yes, if you have AAA, tell them and they will gladly give you a room at a discount.
Pros: Melvin is awesome, every time im in town hes very polite and accommodating to my needs...
Pool was to small. Breakfast was nothing great but sufficient.
Pros: Very nice, We were expecting something not great based on stars. Convenient to where we were visiting.
Cons: Only one mirror in room so my husband and I could not get ready at the same time.
Great for families. Full laundry facility and very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Convenient to the south shore. Rooms have microwaves and full fridges.
Cons: Its a little more of a motel than other Marriott brands.

Pros: Conveniently located, good breakfast, helpful staff
Cons: Would have liked more covered parking and a bigger exercise room
Pros: Hotel employee at the front desk offered superior customer service.
Pros: The price.
Cons: No microwaves in any rooms. Limited # of rooms with fridges. Small parking lot. We had to park 2 blocks away. Tiny rooms. Indifferent staff & rude security.
Pros: a ok very nice
Pros: Clean, neat, and smoke-free! It also appears the hotel is eco-friendly, the sheets did not smell of chlorine bleach.
Pros: Outstanding value....
Cons: Perfect in every way....
Pros: Parking close and my room was clean.
Cons: My room was a little small, but I will take small and clean over large and dirty any day.
Pros: good value for the price, clean and seem well managed
Pros: location is great on Jericho Tpke in Syosset Free Breakfast is a plus if you take advantage of it... big area, lots of choices and lots of seating. (see note on cleanliness below!)
Cons: Staff is nice but incompetent! Heating issue that I should have changed room the 1st night. Had to re-set unit. They promised to fix..2nd & 3rd nights same problem. Breakfast good - but questioning staff's methods of replenishing food and the cleaniness
Cons: I arrived late and night and there was not a lot of parking, but I was able to find the last spot in the lot. They did not shovel the parking lots which were very slushy.
Pros: Great staff, polite and efficient. Clean rooms and enjoyable breakfast and lounge area.
Cons: Were rushed one day by the maid service, because I think it was late and they wanted to go home. We were going to a sporting event at Madison Square Garden and were getting ready for that event.

Pros: Clean hotel
Nice amenities (pool/jacuzzi)
Cons: I purchased my stay through a third party listed on kayak.com for a great price but was charged double the amount at checkout. It was a mistake made on the hotels part and I was told the price would be adjusted but it was still irritating. I had to spend wasted time at the front desk while they figured the situation out. Staff was friendly about but the issue but it was not an ideal situation. Also, what if I had not caught this error? I would be out an extra $150.
Pros: Easy to accessible
Pros: It was convenient for my needs.
Cons: The sheets, towels and blankets felt like sandpaper.
It was fine for what I needed it for, but that was it.
Pros: The location was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The hot tub was out of order and the pool was very cold. These were the primary reasons for staying as my young children were really looking forward to swimming without freezing and therefore catching a cold.

Pros: Check in was easy and staff was freiendly. Room was large and liked the fact that it had a fridge and microwave.
Cons: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable resulting in lost sleep each night. Also, the "restaurant" was small and the breakfast buffet overpriced.
Cons: I couldn't get there because of the weather. Flight was cancelled and they wouldn't do anything about my reservation. I will never stay in a Sheraton again.
Pros: Arrived late, around midnight. Check in was a breeze. The staff was nice and courteous. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
Pros: The jacuzzi
Cons: No untensils in the room

When visiting Huntington Station, Whitman Motor Lodge is a great choice to consider. Free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms offer up nice touches like pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: The room was clean, the staff helpful and accommodating. The bathroom has excellent lighting, design, and features. The bed is comfortable, and there's a desk.
Cons: Outlet to plug in a charger is only on one side of bed.
Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Needed ear plugs to sleep. Loud middle of night as we were next to office. One night police outside our room responding to an alleged assault at midnight. Scary. No shots fired thank God.
Pros: I liked nothing of this place, parking is tight and your sure to get a dung on your car by the drunk idiots coming and going from the other rooms at 2-3 am....noisy too.
Cons: I didn't like the rudeness of the staff; first off I booked a week in advance ,a non smoking king room with a sitting area and a couch, just like what I saw in the pictures online , when I got there, they said they only had a smoking king room , I was pissed, in other words they didn't hold my room, and they gave me no break or discount. the room was a real smelly nasty small room on the first floor. it was 1 small room , with a bathroom. the rug, the curtains, the décor and furniture is all old. the smell alone was disturbing. obviously a great place to hangout and party and drink, it couldn't be more obvious that they cater to who ever will pay a ridiculous price for a dive of a room. don't let the outside of the building fool you, they put no money into renovating or updating the interior.go to Marriott Courtyard or Town Place suites 10 mins away up 10 in Farmingdale.its new, same price and clean , with a kitchen . seriously, $160 + tax per night for this dump, that will never happen again.
Pros: I want to thank the staff for keeping my son's ice packs cold for him to use after playing baseball.
Cons: I had booked a room, king size bed and no smoking for my son and I and after driving 5 hours after a full days work and we arrived at night. I was given a room with double beds which was no big deal but a "smoking" room and was told they were booked so we had to stay there. It stunk so bad, we couldn't sleep even after spraying a whole bottle of perfume, everything smelled like a cigarette the beds, towels, and it was warm so when you turned the AC on it made it worse. We left the window open for an hour and that didn't help. Plus the pillows are hard as rocks. So we didn't sleep at all and after taking a shower I felt like I still smelled like a cigarette. I was very upset for having to pay for the room and I was worried for my son because he had to take an allergy pill and needed rest because he did a showcase for baseball and scouts were looking at him. Also after not sleeping we had to drive 5 hours back home. Extremely disappointed with the situation.
Pros: I am a mother travelling with two 20 something sons to Massapequa for a family wedding. Our planned three night stay turned into two nights due to a snow related flight cancellation. The hotel graciously accommodated us. We arrived 9:30 PM, check-in went smoothly. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was immaculate. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds, temperature of the room, and the bathroom was very nice with a tub shower. There was ample closet space. There was a flat screen TV we never had a chance to turn on. The morning breakfast bar was very nice. I recommend the waffles. I've read some of the previous reviews, some scared me. I would stay there again and I have already recommended it to others.
Cons: We have no negative feedback.
Relaxation and recreation can be found in abundance near our Massapequa Park hotel, like an evening at Nikon Theater at Jones Beach State Park. Pros: Price was low.
Staff was friendly.
Bar and restaurant on site.
Cons: No restaurants in immediate vicinity.
Shower pressure very poor and hot water doesn't last long.
Chairs in room aren't super comfortable.
Rooms don't have a window outside. You have a window t the hallway that others can walk by. There are windows in the hallway.
Cons: Unfortunately I would not know where to start. They say pictures are worth 1000 words and perhaps I should send some pictures. From dried blood, black mold, insects and stained headboards I would never recommend anyone stay here. The staff at the front counter was not only inconsiderate but claimed that I should have purchased "incidentals". Apparently at this hotel "incidentals" are defined as clean rooms. Needless to say my three business partners felt the same way and experienced more or less the same service and type of room. I can assure you as a company we will never stay at any Holiday Inn.
Pros: - The entrance is 'grand' and welcoming with updated fixtures and furniture
-bar was very nice looking
-pool was a nice size
- bedrooms were very updated and inviting
-shower and tiles all new and 'clean'
-lobby bathrooms very clean
-staff VERY accomodating and pleasant!
Cons: -Bar doesn't open until 5, had to order food from the 'outside'
-the lower level (single digit rooms) aren't very sound proof. I was up all night with doors slamming and hearing various conversations from down the hall. I wonder if staying on the main level would have been less noisy

Pros: The bed was super comfortable. The rooms were clean.
Pros: Facilities, complimentary food/beverage and staff surprisingly good for the price we paid, which was quite reasonable. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Lousy tv choices, hearing/cooling unit didn't function well
Cons: Although we had a confirmed reservation, the hotel didn't provide us a room due to overbooking. That was very disappointing.
Pros: There is not much to dislike about this place. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the customer service was outstanding! Once I got to my room, the front desk called the room and offered additional assistance if needed. And later when I wanted to find a nice restaurant in the area, they were very helpful with suggestions and even gave me a menu along with drink discount cards.
Free breakfast was included with my stay and the food selections were great! They have a variety of options to choose from and selections that other hotels don't offer, such as hot oatmeal and yogurt. There were plenty of beverage options and the orange juice was fresh. This hotel also offers free hot soup in the evening, which is a unique touch!
Great customer service really makes a big difference and I will choose this hotel over the others when I come back into town.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Cons: One minor complaint is that I wish my bed was more comfortable.
Pros: Breakfast was good and it lasted until 11 am on a Sunday
Pros: comfy bed, yummy breakfast, and nice ginko tres
Cons: our heater stopped working in the middle of the night
motel was very clean taken care of.It was great.
Pros: The staff was nice and was very helpful. They upgraded our room when they accidentally locked us out of our room.
Cons: The food wasn't so great, the "gym" they had was two treadmills, a bike, and an old stair machine.

Pros: The location is close to major roadways. Rooms are clean and breakfast was included with good selection to eat. The place can use a little bit of updating. The hotels exterior is dark and the rooms are right off the road. It felt like anyone can come up to your room door. While the surrounding area and neighborhood is quite and safe, they need to make the guest feel secure
Pros: Room was clean. Breakfast was basic but free. Staff was helpful.
Cons: Lobby smelled like senior home cafeteria. First room they gave me smelled like smoke. Outdoor pool was freezing cold (they have no heating system) so only can use in summer. Location is directly on highway.
Pros: Enjoyed our stay! Will go again .
Pros: It was convenient to the places we needed to go and the price was good.
Cons: The breakfast was "McDonalds"-ish and no microwave in the room.
Pros: Front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Nice flat screen TV, coffee machine ...and room very clean. The heat was set up and running and that was very nice BC it was very cold. Bathroom was very clean. And nice closet to place all your coat and any luggage. Not noisy.
Pros: Set up of room comfortable: desk, armchair, flat screen tv, good-sized bath. set off main road so traffic noise was not an issue. thin walls though and some enthusiastic bedmates next door. bed was a bit sunken and could feel springs. Wi-Fi did not work during my 1-night stay, bathroom fan did not work, room looked clean overall but I certainly wouldn't walk on the carpet barefoot. told them all this at front desk so they'd try to improve these things. but overall, for the $78 I paid, you can do A LOT WORSE in Long Island! I'd stay again for that price while there on business. did not try the breakfast.

Pros: The facility was reasonably clean, and the air conditioning worked great.
Cons: We stayed on a Saturday night and it was very loud and there seemed to be a lot of unusual activity going on around the area and in the hallways. We did not feel safe at the location, and we checked out after a few hours.
Pros: The door locked
Cons: The smell of the rooms were terrible. Beds we're lumpy and outdated.
Pros: Nothing. Nothing about this place was nice. The room was dirty.
Cons: the tub/shower was not in the bathroom, no, it was DIRECTLY next to the bed. The carpets were completely disgusting. Visible mold growing on the ceiling next to the window. We woke up promptly at 8am to the sound of them grinding the steel stairs outside our room to refinish. The 11am checkout was not necessary at that point. Not worth 110 bucks a night. Not worth 10 bucks a night.
Pros: In-room hot tub was the only redeeming quality of this hotel stay.
Cons: Let's begin where my stay began, and potentially your stay would begin; at the front door. I walked in to find the front desk vacant, but was quickly greeted by the staff. I checked in, paid in cash, and headed toward my room. Staying in an Executive King Room, there was a glass door with a "security" lock that, at other hotels, you must swipe your room key to gain entry to the hallway. At the Rodeway, this door is broken on both ends of the hall. Permanently unlocked. I arrived at my room to find that the door was improperly sized for the door frame, resulting in a large gap below and ABOVE the door- of sufficient size for me to break in without much difficulty, just to prove it could be done. As a result, my girlfriend and I left no valuables in the room during even the shortest period of absence. Late that night, the two of us were rather thirsty, so I grabbed the ice bucket, but found it had no lid. I sought out the man at the front desk, who told me that none of the buckets had lids. I then went to the nearest vending machine to buy some bottles water. Not only did the machine not have water, but it was COMPLETELY empty. Further investigation revealed that EVERY SINGLE MACHINE had been emptied. Again, I paid a visit to the front desk. His blank stare and shrug summed up the quality of customer service one should expect at the Rodeway Inn. I asked him what guests were supposed to do when they got thirsty. He shrugged, again. I walked a couple hundred yards to the King Kullen located "conveniently" across the road. To compound things further, the mattress was rather worn, and the sheets were improperly sized, so throughout the night I woke up on a bare, or getting there, mattress. I would NOT spend another night at this "hotel".
A good night and a great savings await you at the Rodeway Inn hotel in Huntington Station, NY. Our hotel is close to attractions like the Museum of Arts, Fox Hollow Country Club Heckscher, Cold Spring Harbor, Historic Huntington Village and Adventureland Amusement Park. Enjoy our amenities like free breakfast, free WiFi, a fitness center and free coffee. Our fresh, clean rooms offer microwaves, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, TVs and desks. Select rooms have even more amenities, such as a hot tubs. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program.
Cons: when I arrived the police were making a bust in the parking lot. The lamps by the bed had no lamp shades exposed bulbs... Classy. The coffee pot had no decanter. The bedspread definitely needed washing... Dried up food or whatever stuck to the surface... Yuck.
Pros: Location was ideal for work trip
Cons: First room Smelled like urine and smoke, smelled so bad we had to change rooms. In the second room, no urine smell but did have a very strong cigarette smell, found couple long, hopefully chest hairs in the bed , woke up with bedbug bites. Some kind of stain or spillage on the walls in the bathroom by the door almost like blood. I will be traveling to the area quite frequently in the next couple months but I will never choose to stay at the days in again wouldn't recommend it for anybody

Cons: When we arrived our non-smoking room reaked of smoke. When we said something one employee moved us to the room next door which was more updated and cleaner. Then another guy came and said the drainage wasn't working and our original room was the only nonsmoking available. He gave us some spray for the smell. We also noticed the carpet was wet from under the ac all the way to the door. Which he knew about but did not offer to do anything about. We also found a dark reddish brown stain in the grout of the bathroom and the toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor. Beds were super hard and no fitted sheets just two flat sheets and a thin itchy bed spread. Will never stay there again.

Pros: Liked the neon sign and the idea of a road side motel
Cons: We arrived and I guess the manager was out so he had the cleaning lady manage us. She couldn't find the reservation number and I don't think she knew how to use the computer so she couldn't check us in.

Cons: I'm surprise...this hotel is listed in Kayak/Hotel.com
I was shocked to see the condition of my room. Anyone else would have ran! "you get what you paid for" just doesn't cut it, it was $90 a night. The walls were dirty and full of holes. The carpet floor were utterly disgusting...dark and full of gum spots. It's was the most hideous hotel I have ever stay, and I've been to many cheaper ones. Why didn't I asked for a new room? I did, it was the least smoky room.
Cons: dirty condoms in the front of the room, do i need to say more?
