Cafe/Bar close at 10pm
The location pretty good, nice surroundings. Close to shopping and entertainment. Only thing I didn't like was my rooms bed was a little on the hard side but everything else Elias great.
Plus, the hotel is perfectly set up for business travelers. The kiosk for printing out airline boarding passes in under 1 minute was fabulous. The little "store" which stocks goodies to munch, toiletries one may have forgotten, and the bar/restaurant that is very accessible is one of the best things about this hotel. Rooms are nicely set up as well. would highly recommend it for business travelers.
Clean, quiet, extremely comfortable, and exactly what it was promised to be. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was helpful and friendly. Nice little snack shop came in handy with my late check in. Forgotten toiletries were also available at the shop. I ate twice at the bistro and the food was great. Healthy options available there. Overall, a wonderful experience. Nothing
Location to interstate and grocery store was great. We were given a handicap room, which had a roll in shower with a curtain and shower chair. Being a non-handicap couple, I was disappointed when we were unable to move to a room with a tub. I asked for a discount but the lady at the front desk said she could not provide me one since I booked though an outside source.
I liked the rooms had king size beds with sofa beds available. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Check out was at noon so that was great! Overall it was great stay with no issues at all. My only complaint and it's very small was upon arrival at check in I had to wait while the front desk was explaining some procedure to another employee. I guess whatever he had to tell her couldn't wait, but i would have appreciated being checked in first and have the employee wait instead. Again not a big deal but worth mentioning.
Location, travel time to area attractions, and staff. Reservations was mess up we had reserve 2 queen beds, but got a king room. Hotel was book for the night the staff when out of their way to get us in the right room.
The rooms where spacious and clean I wish they did room service
The room was spacious and the bed comfy, but the bathroom!? I loved the decor and fixtures. It was like a mini spa and I wished I could have stayed longer to utilize the pool and work out room. Would definitely stay again.
Run down and dingy.
Overall seemed like a good place at first. Comfy bed. The bathroom was dirty when we checked in. Disgusting.
Proximity to the airport and an hourly shuttle. Breakfast and the breakfast area are quite nice. The rooms are comfortable and quiet.
Clean, quiet, free shuttle, extra helpful staff!!!
Super comfortable beds The airport shuttle experience. I was told it would be 15-20 minutes, I waited about an hour before just taking an Uber from the airport to the hotel. And when taking the shuttle back to the airport, the driver was unfriendly.
Everything, staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms are clean and spacious! The beds are too hard. Rough on the back, i would wake up sore.
Bed sagged in the middle. Made for a very difficult night sleep. Room 502
There was no water between the hours of 11-5 am This was a maj. Health concern and it was told to us only after we got in our room , in a letter put under the door!
quite, peaceful nothing
I needed a room for a couple of nights while I was working in town. I came in late and slept in each day. I cannot comment on the breakfast. My room was clean, copious channels on the Cable TV. I found the experience more than adequite and would recommend the hotel.
Really good nice clean quiet
Rooms were big enough It smelled like smoke
Close the airport The smell of the place
I liked the location of the hotel itself I had young children, and the hotel did not provide any channels so that my kids can watch TV, it seems like the hotel is a stop over for adult only entertainment, my neighbor handling his business with his lady friend and it could be heard, I'm just glad my kids were sleeping at the time. Bathrooms were way too small, not enough amenities.
ese hotel definitivamente no sirve muy malo ,demasiado dinero por un hotel tan viejo, las habitaciones sucias, no lo recomiendo para nada
Location Parking is very limited - There is no elevator - Wifi is very weak, only in the lobby you can get some connection - The room had only one outlet - Once past the lobby it feels like you are in the getto and it is kind of scary - we were given a room that was ready and when I open the door the room was not clean, the bed was not made and there was trash lying around.
It was close. The guy at the reception was nice. The driver charged me to drop me off at the airport.
The people working were loud and inconsiderate. I wasn't able to sleep. Also, there was a roach in the bathroom.
Breakfast is free, shuttle to airport is free. Dirty, walls are very thin. Noisy, there was used shampoo in the bathroom.
It was close to the airport, I really like the fact they had an airport shuttle. Close to some restaurants if you don't drive (pizza, McDonald's) Limited cable channels but for the price it's not bad
Staff Area Value for money The Carpet smells
The hotel transportation was speeding and scary. when we got there we saw two cockroaches in the lobby. On our way to the room we heard some very loud sexual activity that I am almost positive was paid for. The room had stains all over the carpets and bedding and the shower was extremely dirty. Worst place I've ever stayed.
The only bad thing was the stale bagels for breakfast. If all you offer are bagels, muffins, and cereal.......oan juice.....the bread could at least be fresh. Other that it was great and I will stay again. We found this nice cafe/liguor store bar right down the street serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Localização em frente ao aeroporto Não tem elevador. Para quem está sozinho não já ninguém pra ajudar a carregar as malas. Muito complicado.
Conveniently located for my work. Ithet put me in a room above garage next to highway, the road construction at night was loud and kept waking us up. Didn't rest to good.
Staff was friendly, easy to get to the airport, great little bar/restaurant, good shuttle service to airport. The bathroom was in need of new fixtures, updates.
It was what I needed - somewhere to sleep in between flights. Nothing extraordinary but a bed and a bathroom. Good that they had shuttle service in the morning. McDonalds just across the road. Breakfast only served between 8.30 and 9.30. For those with an early flight it is impossible to make it. Very thin door to the corridor.
Clean and comfortable hotel Hard to get soap out of dispensers, crowded breakfast area
the room was clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. The location of the hotel was easy to find.
practical no room service
the adjoining restaurant was OK dirty, old linnen, terrible pillows, damp, heating/aircin did not work etc etc
Close to the Airport Close to McDonalds, IHop and Tom's Bar which had excellent food Breakfast was basic - never had anything but the orange juice
It was near the airport and there was a shuttle, but there are many many others. Dirty hallways, pizza delivery menus on the floor outside the door to the room, tacky decorations, a big metal board at the base of the bed for no apparent reason. And when I pulled the covers off the bed, the sheets were completely full of stains, debris, and little hairs. DISGUSTING. I've never left a hotel room before in my life, but I left right away. Even if they changed the sheets, I wouldn't want to sleep or shower in a place like that. As of now, hotels.com has not refunded me.
The location was perfect. 0.9 miles from the airport and only 11 miles from the beach. I loved the size of the room. Slept 4 people easily, with two king beds and a great amount of floor space and bathroom space. The rooms were also so clean! And on top of all that the room was only $99 per night! Best hotel by far The breakfast could have been alittle better.
The hotel was convenient to the airport and tolerably clean. The staff was courteous.and knowledgable. Many elements of our room were not functioning - lamps, safe, etc. This motel was sub-standard, but all others near the airport were very overpriced, and this one was only moderately overpriced.
The hotel is clean, close to Miami airport, and the WiFi is excellent. The hotel is a bit dated, rooms are clean but slightly musty, only one available computer to browse/print boarding passes.
This location was fine for a quick overnight stay between flights. The location and the hotel were quite adequate and the bed was comfortable. Pizza ads were under our door upon our arrival. After a long day traveling, we ordered in, but they didn't show for over an hour and a half with a simple order, after we walked to IHOP for food. We'd suggest this hotel stop this establishment from leaving these ads. Multiple reviews online we later found showed this was a continued issue with lackluster food.
I like that the shuttle van picked us up from the airport and gave us info on how to get to the port of Miami for our cruise. The staff was very nice and informative. The breakfast should include eggs though, other than that, everything was great!
Shuttle Driver from the airport was extremely nice, told me places to go and visit. Very professional. Breakfast in the morning also a nice point. Nothing...
I only stayed for a night during a layover and everything was pretty good. I liked that there was a shuttle, so it made it easier for me to get to and from the hotel in a less than 10 minute drive. The front desk people were all very nice and helpful. It would be helpful if somewhere on the confirmation email it emphasized that the shuttle had to say HOLIDAY INN and SLEEP INN in order to get in. Another lady and I were upset as we had to keep asking different shuttles which one would take us to our destination. It was a late night when the shuttle driver picked me up so I understand he was probably tired, but he did not have to be so rude. Instead of getting out of the car or rolling down his window to talk to me, he used confusing body language that I did not understand so that seemed to upset him. He did not greet me or say anything when I was in the car. I put my bags away and took them out of the car without his help. Besides that little incidence, my stay was great. I would definitely return again during a layover.
The confort n price
Close to airport. Shuttle service very good Sub par rooms. Unfriendly staff
Everything. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out . and the breakfast was served and replace quickly. That there were not ice machines on each floor.
Breakfast The airconditioner don't stay on and takes too long too turn on soo cann't sleep good
Comfortable No shops nearby
Clean and nicely designed General Manager was a bit snippy
I enjoyed myself the bed was wonderful
The atmosphere, design No complaints
The best part about my stay at Aloft was the service I received from the bar tender (Rafael Medina). I had previously missed my flight and chose Aloft as a place to stay through my Kayak app. It had been a long day of traveling and I was not looking forward to extending it another day. Once I sat down I was immediately served with a good attitude since he could tell I wasn't in the best mood. I was rudely on the phone with my father during most of my time at the bar but this did not stop him from giving service with a smile. After my phone call I had an awesome conversation about my travels and felt overall welcome. I am glad I chose Aloft over the rest of the options and will gladly come back next time I am in Miami.
Modern clean hotel Nice lobby bar area (Expensive though) Music at check in too loud to hear anything. Got a handicap room without being told so. Got to room, work desk too high to efficiently work on laptop. Poor Handicap person would have terrible shower experience as did I. I have been stuck with handicap rooms before but the design and layout made this the most uncomfortable room I have ever been in. Nothing like a good strong hot shower to get you going in the morning, well that wasn't possible. Still have to get the shampoo out of my hair now that I am back at a Hyatt Place.
people at nights in the lobby
Everything is in goos shape Service
Location Wifi in the bedrooms was very slow.
The hotel is near shopping mall and stores. There was no fridge and microwave in the room. These are upon request and against payment. Other 3-star hotels offer these facilities for free. We were 3 guests in the room and had to ask front desk for an extra bath towel (there were only two in the room) and also bath towel (we did not receive ANY in the room). They told us they were out of bath towel because the hotel was full. There were NO bath math in the bathroom. House keeping was out of bath mat!! Too high price for such poor facilities.
Room wasn't ready when we arrived but the front desk was very helpful
Just the place. The room was suck. Outlet plugs dont work
Bed was comfy and the room was clean Pillows smelled humid and sweaty, that was about our only complaint.
Dirty walls and carpeting, broken elevator, used shampoo, broken TV remote. $40 taxi from airport.
Low cost Toilet clogged every day and it was always hard to find parking at night within the hotel territory. A bit far from everywhere and must have a car to go anywhere in Miami.
location price the room smelt like it was once a smoking room or the carpet had not been cleaned for a while. Mark in the sink was there for the full 4 days- cleaning inadequate had to ask for extra towels tub is permanently stained Hotel needs refurbishing
Not much Front lobby dirty and front desk personnel not very helpful
i booked through kayak which sent me to priceline. after paying, neither kayak, noe priceline relayed my reservation info to the hotel. i spent over an hour at the hote ldesk trying to get checked in. horrible experience.
Read what I didn't Like instead because there is nothing good to be said about this hotel. I booked my room online and got my booking confirmation number and everything. When I get there (at around 11pm because my flight to MIA landed @ 10) They tell me that they have cancelled my reservation because i didnt show up before 6pm. THIS WAS INDICATED NOWHERE!!!!!!!!!
The room was clean and quiet There was no real service, I had to carry my bags alone with a sleeping child
This Hotel property offers many amenities that most others at this price range do not offer. It's very close to being a full service property. There customer relation skills are second to none. Housekeepers were quite annoying and persistent.
room was large clean the water was cold I let the bath tub run for 15 min. and was still to cold for a shower. one would think for the price you could have a warm shower before you travel!
The staff was extremely professional and flexible, not pressuring you to checkout immediately, and checking you in without a fuss. There wasn't much to dislike with this property. I cannot complain
Restaurant is open until late at night, rooms clean and comfortable, airport shuttle drivers polite and helpful. Not enough check in personnel at counter.
Close to airport and has a shuttle going there every 30mins. Great breakfast. Rooms are isolated from highway and airport noise. Clean rooms. Not a huge one but the parking space was too far from the hotel.
It was close to the airport, free "breakfast", free shuttle service, free wifi. The breakfast was terrible. We couldn't even eat the "eggs" and all the bread was stale. I would compare it to gas station food. Pre-packaged everything. When we arrived there were no luggage carts and the employees were kind of annoyed that I would even ask and offered no help, they just watched us struggle. The room was pretty clean but the common areas were not. If you just need a bed for the night, it's a good price but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.
Close to airport
The beds were exceptional as was the staff. They were all wonderful to us - we were stranded in Miami waiting for a flight - not knowing whether it would go - due to bad weather. We could not ask for nicer people to help us out!!!!! The hotel could use some updating BUT their staff makes up for any deficiencies. A perfectly good reasonally-priced facility for short-term stay.
The cleaning crew was friendly The internet was down for two days and the staff did not seem to care
I think that any hotel that charges a mandatory fee should have that fee included in the price of the nights stay
The location we were seeing a game at the stadium which is walkable from hotel The only bar/grill in the hotel is closed from April-Aug. Fir redecoration. So if u want to get any food at the hotel or a drink then your out of luck. We asked at the front desk where we could go to eat and the lady had no where to advise us! A cleaning lady who overheard the convesation pointed us in the direction of the casnio next door who serve fast food and also have a restuarant, she was helpful and pointed us in a short cut to walk.
Reasonably priced easy access from florida turnpike
Couldn't tell, I was glad that I only had one night there... So much everything...
Nothing. Totally different from the photo you see in web site. Over charging for every thing beside what you paid on line Charging again , its a fraud. They charged me 18 $ for wifi but I couldn't even download a photo because it was so weak and dc again and again. Terrible!!
I like the convenience of the facilities and sevices including easy parking and free breakfast supply.
The hotel had good breakfast and ample parking and was close to the freeway but a good 30 minutes from the beach. The beds were horrible, I have a back ache after staying there for the weekend. I had a double room and both beds had major slopes. I had a do not disturb sign and the maid trespassed and entered my room and cleaned it while I was away. The hotel is in need of a renovation, you can tell it was a nice hotel 20 years ago. This is a 2 star hotel at best. The gentleman that check me in at 11:45pm was very rude. He never said welcome nor expressed any pleasantries. He needs to be in a different job, he does not have the personality to manage the front desk.
I love the friendly staff, clean room and location. You cannot beat the price. Beds could be more comfortable
The attentiveness of the staff at the front desk.
Good and clean room The breakfast could be more organized. One day there wasn't breakfast.
Time-worn, shabby, understaffed.
Came for a weekend trip, just stayed one night. Nice building, pretty decorations. Staff was nice, great complimentary hot breakfast. They share a pool with the place next door, and we took a nice night time swim. Rooms were clean and tidy, nice to have a mini fridge and other kitchen things. Location was okay -- not great but not too far from everything. Overall was an excellent visit. We asked to check in early, and they said we only could if we joined their program -- not a big deal, but clearly rooms were clean and ready but they didn't want to let us in a few hours early unless we joined up.
very old room has to be redone A to Z Pillows must be 10 years old Shower must be 50 years old Do not think windows been ever wash Breakfast is toast and if you take waffle get ready to wait and even there is terrible. They do not do their room every day so we had to ask for towels the next day.
Location I found cockroach in my room, the matress was completly old and curved. I tried to check out to change the hotel and told me that I can do checkout whenever I want but I loose the money that I paid for the week, and was A Lot!!! What a disappointment!
location grounds some ot the staff bar & resaurant John Zabawczuk troy ny no elevators for us 80 year olds with heavy luggage parking is way to far away for us The restaurant staff and bar staff were were wonderful and friendly Our Thanks to Linda & bartender Joanne The black girl at the front desk was terrible to the point of being rude The grounds were wonderfully groomed and fresh. The housekeeepers did not understand english which was ok but our bathroom sink was full of ants and we had asked them to please get rid of the bugs and vaccum the rugs which they had not done untill our 4th day of stay,we also had fleas in our room
The room was not what I expected from the outside. There was a man living out of his car in the parking lot which wasnt very welcoming. We got into the room and the bathtub was 1/4 full of water, urine and pubic hair on the toilet, teeth flossers on the carpet by the bed, food crumbs on the carpet and broken brackets from the bed underneath just laying on the carpet. The ceiling fan was sitting only 2 inches above the entertainment center, so we were afraid to turn on the ceiling fan because of the possibility of it hitting the entertainment center and breaking. The breakfast was cereal, mini muffins & waffles. Not much effort on the breakfast. I've paid less and got more at other places. This was a very disappointing stay and do not recommend it.
PART 1: If I could give this place 0 stars... I would. What an insult of a place. If I could give them negative stars I would. Thank God I only stayed for a night. This is middle of nowhere motel quality. This is $20 a night hole in the wall quality. To the point that I wouldn't be surprised if I come home with bed bugs. The place is disgusting. Everything is dirty. But let me start from the beginning. We arrived from a 10hr flight from Paris, tired, and ready to use a bathroom that is not a litter box. They gave us our room, on our way there a random guy asks where are we staying and he took a key from his pocket and open OUR room, he later said he was housekeeping.. He didn't even have a uniform. We got to the room the beds were halfway made, and the a/c sounded like the engine of an airplane. To the point we had to raise our voices to speak. Well we went back to the lobby (if you can call that a lobby - just a waiting area) and the lady apologizes that she had placed us in a "out of service" room. Well she never came to our room to take us out, she waited till we showed up. After that, they gave us a room on the second floor, mind you, 3 of us, 6 suitcases, from a trip that lasted over a month + NO ELEVATOR... Yeah the stairs were not a lot, but after a 10hr flight carrying 6 full size suitcases was a challenge. No one helped. The hallways are all exposed to the elements, but there is no upkeep. No sweeping. But whatever that's besides the point. I'll give it to them, it is outside. PART 2: EVERYTHING is old in the room, even the key pad. We had to swipe the key twice or three times. We got in, the curtains were broken, I stayed with the stick to move them in my hand. We never understood how the a/c worked. If I put it on 73-74 we will freeze; 75-76 we will sweat. The beds were okay, the bathroom where the toilet is, has zero ventilation and the a/c never reaches it. So it's an oven. Specially after a shower. We came with $10K worth of stuff, from gifts, electronics, stuff we bought, jewelry, etc. there is no safe to put any of your valuables. So we didn't really feel at peace when we left the room to go visit family. There was garbage under the beds, no "do not disturb" sign; not that I needed it since no one came to clean up the room before check out. The closet is a good size. Well we had something to look forward to tho, free continental breakfast. They give you a coupon for that, it's from 7-10 am. If the room was an insult, this was the final punch on the face. It was one table ... With literally nothing, and we were there at 8am. There was regular loaf bread that smelled like beer, stale mini muffins, and you make your own waffles - only if the batter machine decides to work for you. There was ham, and cheese, and all this other options that if you wanted them you had to pay extra. A couple of old folks drop some muffins and a cup on the floor by mistake, and they lady taking care of the breakfast area; just kicked everything under the table. Yeah, exactly.. For over $100 a night, I have never felt more ripped off in my life. If this place was half or one third of the price I might consider staying. But don't ever pay more than 50$ for a room here. You will be better off somewhere else. The only think good about it, is the location. But it's not justifying the price and the upkeep of the place.
Nothing was favoorable. It smelled like vomit. I ended up with a eye infecction, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
Decent location. Go-to for golfers. Noisy, I could hear drying machines. The walls were thin which allowed TV and talk noise from adjoining rooms to be heard. Checkout clerk was rude.
Close to meeting site room not clean, towels and bedding low quality, few in room extras, needs a refresh
The lobby and hotel view is great. Have to carriage our bags to the second floor using stairs. No elevator. Continental breakfast I give and F. Bed was terrible.the water was yellowish?..I saw mini roaches in the bathroom.
Area was nice Resort is old and the ambiance was like staying in an inferior motel. Bathrooms are very out dated, Bath tub caulking was yellow. Furniture was also out dated.
Very good Front desk service. The room was very clean and well organized. The a c wasn't working right and it makes a lot of noise to the point that sometimes wake you up and the tv is outdated. The parking is too dark at night it needs more lights.
Close to home Terrible beds insects in pillow case ,water from sink smelled,
I needed a hotel close to the airport and wasn't expecting to find something So quiet and comfortable with class. The pillows & down comforter were heavenly. I didn't have enough time to enjoy everything.
Room was clean staff was polite Breakfast on time satisfied The second day rolled eggs
smells bad everywhere, fruit on breakfast is from cans. no refrigerator in room
Close to the airport The room was smelling really bad and it was dirty!
The breakfast bar was wonderful. And the pool area was very nice. The surrounding area was not as nice as I would have liked. Also wish all of the staff would have spoken English. It felt a bit like being in a foreign country.
The man who checked us in, I can't recall his name, was very helpful. He made it his business to go above and beyond. I booked online and the reservation was not sent through the company. This gentleman had it fixed in minutes. He was professional, helpful and spoke highly of the facilities. He assured us of our safety, during hurricane Matthew. He told us of hurricane windows and a generator. )3 was very helpful, and eased our minds. The carpet was not vacuumed in our room. Otherwise it was clean.
I waited 1.5 hrs for the airport shuttle and the breakfast was very unhealthy and the air conditioner was old and loud.
One of the elevators was out of order, so there were long waits. In our first room the air conditioner did not work and there was no mini fridge. The air conditioning on the floor of the second room did not work but did in the room. We were sweating while waiting on the one working elevator. The indicator lights in the working elevator did not work so there was confusion if the elevator was going up or down and what floor it had stopped at. The breakfast was ok but they could not keep it stocked. As soon as they brought out food it was gone immediately. The rooms were clean and it was quiet but not up to Hampton Inn standers.
The coffee It was old, shabby and out of the way
Cleanliness of my room as well as the entire hotel I stayed at this hotel twice and this is the second time that the rate was miscalculated.I was required to pay a $50 deposit upon check in which would be returned when I check out. When I was leaving I was only given back $27 of my deposit, when I inquired I was told that the taxes weren't added to the rate when I checked in.As I said that this my second incident at this hotel
Excellent staff. Bed and bathrooms were terrific. Breakfast was pretty good for this type of buffet. Floors needed to be vacuumed and some of the furniture was dirty on the sides. We found this out when we moved a coffee table and our hands were sticky afterwards.
Smelled like smoke, old, ran out of food at breakfast, door broke
Great location just off the Sawgrass Expressway, Cracker Barrel right next door is super convenient. Just finished up remodel and the place looks amazing! Room was very impressive with walkin shower, high end furnishing & fixtures too if you appreciate that kind of stuff. Bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up! Bonus 50" TV, buffet was 5star!! Nothing!
Overall cleanliness of the hotel as well as my room
Near the airport.Nice and modern interiour. Good bed, big tv screen. Breakfast room is on the top floor overseeing the air traffic. Beautiful panorama. I was very pleased with the free wifi connection. If you don't have a computer, you can use one of the Mac's in the lobby, bring your credit card along.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lack of food options. Dish network as the cable provider. The tiniest bit of bad weather and the TV lost the signal.
