Staff was very courteous and helpful, Nice sized room and clean. Toiletries were great, they used Paul Mitchell which was a delight. The ice maker didn't work and the spa was weak. There was a not so great smell to the linen. Really all was good except the maintenance. I expect better from a Marriott chain, still maybe this was just an aberration. I will give them another chance. All other experiences have been excellent in the past so, I'll look past this last experience.
Not as clean as I expected. Spa wasn't working. Not worth the price charged.
Excellent and friendly staff. Fresh baked cookies abundantly available. Nice design. Comfortable. Abundant parking. Next door to Denny's for 24 hour dining.
The pool was great for the kids after a long day of soccer games!
Location Beds were soft & linens were poor fit that made for an uncomfortable sleep.
The staff is awesome! The bed was hard but I sleep on a tempurpedic at home so it's probably not a fair comparison.
Was very attractive and modern looking. 1. Hollow doors which made for hearing a lot of outside noise. 2. The doors in my room were somewhat broken, I couldn't open the door without extreme force at times. 3. The window curtains did not close 100 percent so there was always extra light that kept me from sleeping easily.
Location is good. The place is quite dirty, and in disrepair. Bad smells and urine stains on window seat/nap cushion below window. I've never stayed at a Microtel before this, but would not do so again.
nothing this place was so horrible and nasty and dirty this place was horrible it was nasty and dirty to the point where we checked in and we checked right out
Room was a bit worn but clean. Everything was in working order. Front desk staff didn't know hotel policies. Hallways were dirty. Outside door didn't close properly making security a concern.
Upon check-in, the door to our room would not work and the desk attendant was very apologetic and quickly reassigned us a different room which was much quieter and faced away from the highway. The room was small, but comfortable and the bathroom was really large. The inside corridors were very hot and stuffy. There was a little noise from the freeway, but that's to be expected when you're staying right next to it.
It was the best price around for a chain motel, flat screen tv No iron, no coffee in room, tiny room, the breakfast juice machine broken and the hotel didn't even provided water for guests, nothing to drink!!!
Only two locks in the room and both did not work. And we could not be accommodated in another room. Water spill by ice machine left unattended for half a day. Hair in new towels. Some front desk staff indifferent as if you are an annoyance for requesting things. Breakfast hard boiled egg with no sausage or bacon and cheap small pastries. Not bad hotel if you like being in hotels with motorcycle biker, truck drivers etc. no fridge, no microwave.
All pleasant None
The bed was comfortable. The lobby carpeting had stains everywhere which is gross as that's the first thing you see when you walk in. In the room, there was no iron/ironing board so I had to ask for one. The bathroom was old and outdated beyond what I have ever seen before. It reminded me of a hospital bathroom. There was no mini fridge to store my leftover dinner I was going to take to work the next day. I booked this room online prior to seeing the facility first. Will never stay here again & do not recommend.
Location, good breakfast Oddor in elevator
Great place to stay, staff was very friendly.
Drains in sink and tub didn't work properly TV sound didn't work at all
She was rude at time of check in. She expressed frustration, stating that all of us soccer families were coming in at the same time and she was not ready because people were checking out. As this may have been the case, she did relay to the incoming guest. Left a bad taste.
I loved the location. The grounds around the office were gorgeous and adorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from.
Locations and helpful staff. Facilities is showing wear and tear.
Nice, clean and secure. Nothing to not likr
We enjoyed our stay is was nice and comfortable
The rooms ( for the most part) are really pretty nice. ( I had three rooms during my 14 hour stay). 1st room: blow dryer caught on fire in my hand!! Mini fridge not cold. 2nd room: missing closet doors, air conditioner cover pulled off 3rd room: hard bed, air conditioning swings from very cold to uncomfortably hot all night long Management made no attempt to check on me or even see how badly I was burned, didn't offer to comp the room either.
I really like the location. It's quiet. The pool wasn't that big, but I like that it's an indoor pool. Overall, it was a nice stay. The room was stuffy if the AC wasn't on. The AC goes off and on on auto. We couldn't leave it to on only. It didn't work when we press on that.
Clean, comfortable and quick check-out. Interiors were decent and breakfast was plentiful. Great location with dining options available close by. Pool isn't heated. Because the gentleman we arranged our stay with over the phone mixed up our details, we has to sit in our car with two kids crying for over an hour while we sorted it out.
This hotel was is in HORRIBLE condition! Broken toilet seat, big chips in wood on bathroom door, blood-like spots on drapes, cigarette burn on the tv, and on and on... I would never stay here again!
We were returning from a trip out of the country and needed a place to stay over before driving home the following day. It was a bit of a drive from the San Jose airport, but VERY worth it! Despite being close to the freeway, the Quality Inn was perfect. Quiet, romantic, and a great value. The property was clean, some of the furnishings were worn and had obviously had full lives, but were clean. We were disappointed that when we tried the hot tub, it was not warm enough to get in. The pool had just cracked, we didn't mind that, but would have liked to have used the spa =) Overall, a great experience, would stay here again.
NOTHING!! I can say the location was good. The place is disgusting!! Filthy, run down. Needs updating badly. Even a coat of paint and some decent furniture to sit on. Don't know how old the couch in our room was but one side of it sagged it was so worn. The window in this place have to be 30 years old!! Could easily break into these rooms on the ground floor.
the employee at the front desk I hated everything first of all when we got to the room the door was open to the room then the carpet and sofa were dirty then when we were all settled in about to lay down on the bed we see this flee on the pillow so we decided to get a refund and get out of there
Large room with a couch. There was no water pressure, had to have maintenance come and increase pressure to a trickle for the shower to operate. The shower was falling apart. The electrical outlets didn't work. The bed was hard. The breakfast was terrible.
The beds were comfortable, and the amenities were adequate. The room "felt" clean, but the smell indicated otherwise. The odor in the room was overwhelming with the smell of a locker room or dirty socks perhaps. The coffee at breakfast was not fresh, and as a result, not drinkable.
Location was the only positive. We were traveling to Southern California and needed a hotel close to the highway and outside the bay area. This fit our needs. The hotel was dirty, dark, and stinky. We were given the room available and it smelled like mildew and smoke. I will not stay there again.
- Trash bag in hallway left for over 24 hrs - Charged $20 more than confirmed amount - Booked right next door to a loud guest when hotel was quite empty
The hotel was under remodeling construction and the conditions were terrible during the day. Ridiculous access, and pool was closed. If we had known this we would never have stayed there..
super clean and excellent customer service! nothing
nothing was bad nothing was bad
The motel had no hot water for 3 days. The motel staff were not upfront of the hot water problem. Each day we were informed that the hot water was only to be unavailable between 10am - 3pm.
Was able to lay in a bed for a night. Clean floors in the room. Didn't feel like I had to brush my feet off before laying in bed. Getting into bed, made a loud slam onto the floor. Same effect would happen when rolling in bed. My room was facing the railroad track and didn't realize there was a railroad till I heard it pass by. No wi-fi available at time of stay. No little bottles of shampoo, unless hotels stop providing things like that.
The staff are very nice and attentive. I had a great impression when I first checked into the hotel. Internet. Internet cost extra $2.99. Do not expect fast speed. I like playing games on my ipad and it just won't load up so I am missing some timely goals (if you know what I mean). This ruins major part of the experience.
Cheapest motel available during the garlic festival. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Room wasn't as clean as I expected; complementary "dirty teenager" scent was present the first time we entered the room and could not be aired out throughout stay. Also, train tracks run within about 50 yards of the building, so definitely avoid rooms on that side (same side as the pool) or your sleep WILL be interrupted by large freight trains blowing their horns throughout the night.
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The bed was acceptable and the laminate floor was clean. Much preferable than a hard to clean carpet. The motel had been remodeled to a modern theme. The sink was of poor design and the water splashed all over the counter and floor. You could only use it at a super low volume (dribble). When we informed them the bathroom fan did not operate, they said in the remodeling that they were not connected? Taking a shower created a steam bath. There was not enough towels for 2 people and one bar of soap, no other amenities which you should expect. like Kleenex.
The room was beautiful. The design was very modern and clean. I was very surprised to stay in such a beautiful room at such a great price. Would have liked a mini fridge and an elevator closer to our room.
Low price Comfortable beds (great sleep) Nice laminate floors, furniture, granite countertop Friendly staff AC Towels included Neighbor was watching porn. We had little kids with us, so we had to turn on the TV and blast the sound to drown out the noises coming from next door. One thing we don't typically worry about when going with a more expensive hotel.
I was rudely instructed how to park my car by a housekeeping employee. They claimed that I was driving over one of their bushes, where in reality my bumper barely touched one of the branches. In addition, the parking spaces are very small. Designed for compact cars. I parked so my vehicle wasn't sticking out into the main driveway, but they prefer that you block the driveway F.Y.I. Perhaps housekeeping should focus on...hum...housekeeping! Especially since there towels are old and look very dingy and dirty. Maybe they should worry about cleaning stains, fixing broken lights and toilets, instead of parking. My stay initially started off well, but I quickly started to feel unwelcome due to the rude staff member and. I will be checking out first thing!!!
The hotel is close to shopping and restaurants which are within easy walking distance. The room was not the cleanest; counters were dusty, floors could use a better vacuuming and the walls in the shower area were slightly mildewed. The towels may have been washed but were heavily stained. It looked as though they were used as rags from the garage. The rooms are not all that well insulated, so you can hear neighboring rooms showers and folks talking outside.
No bot water internet not working bad bed holes in blankets door lock didn't work Next to road very loud
Good room for the price It was a ways from San Jose but was worth the drive
Location was hard to find, they were doing construction when I was there, it had a tv, microwave, table and fridge. All of that wasn't really necessary. I used it for a short trip and it would have been better if they just put the bed in there and an updated tv. It was extremely over priced for what I paid for, I would have been better off sleeping in my car and saving my money.
It was a quite nice. The location made it good for us to get to our destination in a decent amount of time, and the price is what made our decision to stay there.
felt safe and for the most part clean distinct musty smell to the room, towels were yellowish, key card deactivated 15 minutes before checkout time..
During the night the room would get cold then all of a sudden the room would get warm. The mattress on the bed sank in the middle and the pillows were uncomfortable. We will not be back.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel certainly not up to the old Hilton standards but guess they have changed. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Mild noise but nothing more than all hotels. The room I was in was quite warm but use of AC made it too cool -- didn't appear to be sn in-between. Sadly it was too loud outside due to traffic to open windows
The pool looks better in the picture on the Web and is not is dirty and no towels at the pool. Restroom was dirty at the pool area
They have a pool, amenities are close by, complementary breakfast with waffle maker!!! My non smoking room smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigs inside the night before.
It was convenient, affordable and met what we needed for our trip - a place to stay They could not immediately find my reservation
For a lower end price range hotel it offered a lot of great amenities like the microwave and refrigerator in the room, it has a nice pool and the breakfast waffle bar was great. The staff was friendly. The roms were lean but they could use a little up dating.
The staff. They did not have my reservations and could care less
I liked the breakfast. They had two types of cereal, cinnamon rolls, make your own waffles, toast, oatmeal. Drinks included orange juice, apple juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk. If you need a place to stay for a night and hardly in the hotel this would be perfect. Room also came with a microwave and rmini fridge. View of the outlets through the window. I didn't like the comforter. It looks like a 90s style blanket. The tv is outdated.the bathroom door didn't stay open on it's own. It was held open by a mini trash can.
Very near Gilroy Chelsea Premium Outlets, spacious room, free internet, free parking, laundromat, value for money. They even have those hotel-type luggage trolleys you can borrow to facilitate the transportation of your luggage to your car. No
Location only. Our phone in the room did not work, had to change rooms because toilet was not functioning properly, and bath tub and shower showed mold and mildew.
I appreciated the low cost of the room and the vacinity to nearby outlet shopping center and Gilroy Gardens. We had to go to the front counter to get extra items such as, an iron and ironing board and towels, but the staff was very curteous. I'd reccommend this place if you are looking for low cost and a short stay, but if you need any kind of luxery this is not the place for you. The things I'd like the hotel to imporve are; the bathtubs need to be cleaned with soft scrub, or something that gets the grime up and there is a tear in the carpet on the baseboard as you walk into the room. The rooms are very small and there is no counter space for toiletries, but this may not be something you can improve upon.
This hotel met all of our basic needs and was a reasonable value for the price. The bed was decently comfortable. The finishes were very poor and there was a lot of wall damage in the room and bathroom. The tub floor was very dirty. The hotel did not provide much in regard to toiletries. WiFi was free but painfully slow. For the price though, I can't complain too much.
The staff was excellent and very helpful. They were very quick with the check in and check out. The room was a bit on the older side and needed updating. Breakfast was too early -- 5am-9am on the weekends is too early for travelers. It should be till 10am on the weekends.
Great location, close to restaurants and freeway Staff was not very helpful. The walls are too thin, breakfast was just coffee and danishes
It smelled like somebody was smocking in the room, flood was sticky, some white stuff in the toilet, very poor cleaning services. Did not like it at all.
shower pressure was low. heater was not workign you either get icy cold or super hot water
Nice gentleman at the desk, big and very clean room, free Wi-fi, clean pool (though we didn't use it), just off Hwy 101 and minutes away from the malls, suitable for a final stop going to San Francisco. Good Value for money. Shrink-wrapped breakfast, coffee wasn't very delicious.
This was the only "cheap" motel available for a last minute stay. We still paid $200 for the one night. The beds were uncomfortable and the room was stuffy. The street outside was loud. The AC was loud.
