Pros: Location, breakfast and hosts were great!
Pros: The number of animals around the property, horses, donkeys, chicks, ducks. Friendly owners and staff. The cabin has extremely clean.
Pros: The location was perfect. The couple were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We will tell friends about the zeeinn and will return.
Cons: Local food selection.
Pros: The breakfast was delicious! There was a wonderful variety of items to choose from. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio watching many hummingbirds feeding in their feeders. Thank you for the wonderful service provided!
Pros: This is a gem! Great place to go to Bryce and Zion. The local restaurants are very nice. The breakfast was excellent. Jane is an exceptional host. There is just nothing not to like.
Pros: Excellent food. Strategic location to reach both Bryce and Zion national parks. Convenient parking right in front of the cabin. You can watch colibris while you eat. Quiet rural ambiance all around.
Cons: Some glasses could be cleaner, both in the cabin and in cafeteria. If you want to make tea, you have to do it in a coffee-maker. The cabin was really small, no space for storage, you have to unpack on the floor. I haven't seen others inside, but they seemed bigger. Perhaps it depends on the size of your party.
Pros: A warm welcome, lovely accommodation and the perfect location between Bryce Canyon and Zion Park. The breakfasts were the best we had the whole time we were in the USA, plus it was wonderful watching the little humming birds on the patio!!
Pros: Breakfast was great! Always accommodating for any dietary needs and the staff was great too!
Pros: Good breakfast, room quaint and clean. Owners were very friendly and nice to talk to. Good experience.
Cons: Roo. Was very warm, and unable control temp in room.
Pros: Everything was wonderful. We are planning to return with a few of our friends and family next time.
Utah’s Zion National Park is one of the country’s most revered natural parks for its scenic beauty and fantastic landscapes. Nestled within the mountains of the eastern half of the park is the Zion Mountain Ranch. Featuring 53 private cabins and lodges, the resort offers a fantastic way to reconnect with nature. Cabins and lodges range from the Buffalo Vista cabin, ideal for couples, up to the Holyoak, which can comfortably sleep 15 guests. All of the cabins are built from local wood and filled with rustic Western furniture to further the feel of modern relaxation in the frontier. Each cabin comes with different amenities, designed to appeal to a wide array of guests. Guests who love the outdoors will be constantly surrounded by amazing recreation. The hotel offers guided horseback riding tours through Zion National Park, for one, two, or four hours. Guides can also be found at the hotel for fly fishing outings, canyoneering, and mountain biking. Guests looking to unwind after a day of exploring the outdoors can book a private massage in the comfort of their own cabin or lodge. A herd of buffalo makes the area around the resort home so guests should keep their eyes peeled as well. Located on-site is the Cordwood Restaurant, serving elevated and local food always revolving around the seasonal harvest. In fact, since Zion Mountain Ranch is a fully operational ranch, many of the ingredients used at the restaurant are produced right on the grounds, offering a true farm-to-table experience. Comforting yet rustic lifestyle and a plethora of outdoor activities await guests at the Zion Mountain Ranch.
Pros: Stunning views, friendly staff and great location. Also, cabin was comfortable and welcoming.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The views are incredible and the bison were a cool twist that you don't normally see.
Cons: The cabin we stayed in is a little older and needs a little TLC but it was plenty big and the tub was nice. The service at the restaurant left a little to be desired. It took 20 minutes before they took our order and they seated me facing the wall.
Pros: Great cabins - was pre-heated and therefore very comfortable, when we arrived. Quiet and nice with everything, you need.
Cons: Sad, that we didn't see any of the Bisons - but that's nature...
Pros: Very family friendly. Great staff. A comfortable, updated cabin with a lot of privacy
Pros: Everything was great !! lots of thing to do close to National park State parks animals horses ducks bunnies chickens fresh farm to table foods. nice gift shop lots of open spaces and black sky's at night.
Cons: everything was great internet was out in our room no cable so bring movies they so have some movies. A great place. nothing to complain about.
Cons: The water heater didn't have enough capacity to fill up the tub or shower for more than 7 minutes with hot water.
Pros: Beds were comfy and my family loved the bunnies and horses on the ranch. Staff was very nice as well
Cons: No A/C in room
Pros: Lovely cabins in a beautiful setting with very nice staff. The restaurant and store at the property are very nice
Cons: Getting through Zion National Park to get to the hotel can be challenging
Pros: Nice location and peaceful on checkout they gave us 20$ off of stay for towel issue
Cons: Considering the price per night the cabin which booking com states as a superior king was in fact a king and they would not upgrade to superior as they say booking .com advertised the cabin wrong and if want to have a superior it was 30$ per night extra then after being out in zion for 10hrs the following day was looking forward to shower and found no shower gel or shampoo or any towels but the used ones still in bath. Surprised at attitude re booking as just arrived in bryce and they gave us a free upgrade without asking their resturant as site was overpriced
Pros: WE had dinner the first night. Food was skimpy and didn't include what was on the menu.
Cons: Bigger portion or at least provide what the menu stated
Pros: Great location for Zion National Park with excellent views. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Loved meeting Betty the baby bison. If you're lucky you'll see the herd in the vast grounds. The whole place is charmingly quirky and the food is excellent quality.
Pros: The view was incredible! The staff were super friendly to our whole family. We felt very welcome to the ranch. My children loved the chickens and bison they had on the ranch.
Cons: I only wish it had a full kitchen.

The hotel offers additional amenities such as free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool and spa, a laundry facility and free self-parking. Best Western East Zion Thunderbird Lodge is a smoke-free property.
Pros: We loved everything. The location was perfect, for our visits to both Zion and Bryce. We had 2 rooms each with 2 patios. We used the golf course, loved having that option. The restaurant food and staff, was delightful, especially our favorite server, Joyce. We were 3 adults and 2 kids, 10 and 14. We enjoyed the pool, the fascinating history of the place, and generally loved the whole 4 day stay.
Cons: No negatives about this place at all.
Pros: People were friendly, clean facility, great pool and hot tub. Restaurant was good too.
Pros: Beautiful location. Also alternate fun if you want a dune buggy.
Pros: We have had a very nice experience staying at this hotel. The rooms are big, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - its a great place to stay.
Pros: Pretty setting. Lovely location between Zion, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and Kanab.
Pros: Location can't get better than this. It is right in the middle between Zion and Bryce, one hour drive either way. It's on a small golf course, so you'll see a lot of green grass, a respite from the surrounding desert.
Cons: The worst part is the loud AC unit and the bathroom fan unit. Free breakfast not included, but there's a restaurant on site.
Pros: The women at the desk were very friendly & helpful. The room was large & the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: A leftover meal was in one nightstand, otherwise the room was very clean. It was a bit expensive to not have complimentary breakfast.
Pros: The room was very clean and overall very comfortable. The shower was very nice. Also liked the proximity to the restaurant. The bed was quite comfortable and the size of the room was excellent.
Cons: The only issue we had was with the circulation of the air conditioning in the room. It would have helped to have to have a ceiling fan in the room. Also, some way to change automatically from the artificial a/c to the outside air once the temperature dropped below a certain level.
Pros: restaurant was delicious and well paced. awesome location. Was between Bryce and Zion and staff helped plan the local attractions ( IE Dunes)
Cons: Restaurant was expensive and there were very few other options.
Pros: Very well located, near Zion park.
Pros: Room very clean and tidy. Restaurant was excellent with very good food and friendly staff. Pool was good and good after a very warm day to get a nice dip.
Cons: Nothing...everything was as we wanted
Cons: Our room fell apart. The door to our little terras was broken but they fixed it in such a primitive way! Our bathroom was not clean... Especially the toilet. The location was bit far from Zion and even further from Bryce.
