No breakfast. No coffee $200 room. Make sense? Nope.
Pros. Staff was very friendly and you can't beat the location. Much cheaper than in the French Quarter and just a block or two away. Beds were very comfortable and the design was modern and chic.
Cons. No pool and no free continental breakfast. Parking was very pricey.
Pros. We liked the rooms and view from high up and the free water bottles. The staff were super friendly and nice.
Cons. No pool. I wish so much they had a pool or an arrangement with another hotel for their guests to use at a daily rate. We asked around and all the hotels have a very limited number of daily non-guests allowed to use their pool for a fee ranging from $20-30 per person per day
Pros. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was modern, comfortable and had enough space. We also felt very safe - elevator had security features and the front of building was always on watch by staff. Location is perfect - Bourbon, Canal St, Superdome in walking distance. Rooftop bar is awesome - good city view.
Cons. Valet parking a bit steep. I suggest one of the public parking decks nearby. Petit Lion prices a bit steep.. especially breakfast.
Cons. Rude at check in, even though I called to say I was a day late because my flight was cancelled.
