Pros: Beautifully manicured
Cons: The rain lol
Pros: Everything you could dream of -and more.
Cons: Nothing -- this is as close to perfection as things can get!
Pros: Personal attention, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Not enough reading light in room
Pros: The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is super-friendly and helpful, and the King bed was deliciously comfortable. Despite the cloudy and cool weather, we had a great time.
Cons: Can't think of anything!
Cons: It seems like you guys were extremely short staffed. We have stayed with you several times and the service this time was very different. Staff was nice but overwhelmed.
Pros: The grounds are beautiful and the facility’s are easy with children. All in all we have a lovely time.
Cons: The room smelled of mould, it didn’t feel luxurious and it felt unhealthy. When I got home all my packing smelled. They could be more environmentally conscious they use a lot of plastic. Must be so much plastic waste that could be reduced.
Pros: Awesome setting, good food, friendly staff.
Cons: AC didnt work, cob webs in bathroom, they booked the pool in front of my room for 2 consecutive days so it couldnt be used. Not happy about that. Literally 6 people in there at a given time.
Cons: Parking fee is a rip-off
Pros: Great service and attention to details, the personal in general Awesome
Pros: The peace and tranquility, level of service and amenities provided.
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Wonderful grounds and the room was beautiful. They even were able to accommodate us staying an additional night. You don't get better than this place!
Pros: We loved the high level of personal care and service by all staff, especially Jonathan at the front desk. Loved loved our room (323).
Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Pros: What a glorious place. I’m sitting outside early morning listening to the birds. It is so perfect. This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. We will be back.
Pros: Perfect location, walking distance to great shops and restaurants.
Pros: Spanish style of the property. Court tard. Spanish tiles.
Cons: I couln’t get hold of the hotel staff via phone. Only a recorded message on couple of tries.
Pros: The room was a very nice size and pleasantly laid out. The Inn was clean and inviting and not too far from the main street.
Cons: The only issue was that Netflix wasn't connected.
Pros: Very comfortable room. We stayed in the raven room. Great location as it was easy to walk to the main walkway on ojai ave. When we go back we will stay here again!
Pros: The location was great. Easy walk to many restaurants. Rooms are huge. Courtyard is charming. Very quiet area. The Vine bar nearby is amazing, we went there every night. And Nocciola restaurant - 4 minute drive away - was super.
Cons: Staff weren't super excited to deal with the check in. Hard to tell from their website which rooms are best; it's on a very quiet street but as it is also at an intersection, you'll hear some associated noises as cars accelerate after coming to a stop if your room is at the corner adjacent to the intersection. I'd avoid Robin room for that reason. Best rooms are in back - Peacock, Raven, Swallow, etc.
Pros: It's got a unique character all of it's own. Great walking location, very comfortable room. Excellent for an overnight or weekend stay.
Pros: Very central and walking distance to the main street. Beautiful room and very spacious. The room had various accommodations for the guest to use and a beautiful shared courtyard and our own private balcony.
Pros: Within walking distance to restaurants and other activities.
Pros: Loved location; walking distance to downtown. Suites are excellent with a very comfortable bed and separate living area. The kitchenette provides you with a microwave, refrigerator, and wet bar. The flavored sparkling waters were a nice surprise!
Cons: Being such a small inn, early check-in or late check-out isn't available.
Cons: The unit was not attractive. I reserved a second floor room but go one on the first floor - had to keep blinds closed since we were next to the street. The place was dark and depressing. Also, layout was weird.

Pros: The bed was super comfortable, the facilities perfect, the generous breakfast buffet had lots of choices, the location was perfect for a neighborhood walk, or a run / hike on the outskirts and very close for walking downtown and to restaurants and wine-tasting rooms.
Pros: It was blissful. Every suite felt secluded in its little world of comfort. The landscaping was gorgeous and a dip in the hot tub with the night lights twinkling was heavenly. Highly recommend!!!
Pros: Comfy and adorable rooms. Highly recommend. We were in the cricket room. Loved the downstairs private outdoor patio and 2 balconies off upstairs bedroom. Easy walk to downtown shops/restaurants.
Pros: Such an unpleasant, miserable staff to deal with. It is kid-free environment, a glorified B&B. The mattress was so old and saggy it left us both with aches and sore bodies. It literally had a ditch in the middle. The front desk reception staff is so unfriendly and left a weird vibe. We will def not be returning. The room was clean and cleaning staff was so warm and friendly. Location is perfect, central and relaxing. Our suite was right by the parking lot. There is no room service for those who need to know. Breakfast spread was basic.

Pros: The garden and pool, and the breakfast.
Pros: The location, the look, the quiet and the quality of the facility was excellent. I did not have time for breakfast. I will try it the next time I stay!
Cons: The cost of the room was higher than the lat time I'd checked, so I was a bit disappointed. The place was very nice, though. I will come back.
Pros: My husband and I came here for our mini honeymoon and it was perfect. After a week spent with family and friends, we needed a few days just to relax. The hotel is incredibly quiet and peaceful and the pool/hot tub are an added bonus. We were able to rent bikes for the day and bike almost all the way to Ventura. We also booked a couples massage that we had right in our room. The daily breakfast allowed us to relax in the morning and hang out by the pool. The neighborhood is quiet and this is a perfect romantic getaway.
Pros: Such a cute place. Very very accommodating for changes and upgraded us since the original room had a roof leak. They upgraded us to a bigger place at no additional charge!
Cons: sure wish the whirlpool tub was working
Pros: Bed were excellent. Great pillows!
Cons: Hot brreakfast food
Pros: The location - quiet neighborhood - and landscaping are excellent. The units are nicely quirky and individualistic. Nice hot tub a pool area, great place to have the provided breakfast.
Cons: All fine!
With a stay at Ojai Retreat & Inn in Ojai, you'll be a 4-minute drive from Los Padres National Forest and 6 minutes from Ojai Valley Museum of History and Art. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location, view, peaceful setting. Beautiful little hideaway overlooking the valley below.
Cons: Water pressure in shower was not good. Bedding was dated.
Pros: Ojai retreat is stunningly beautiful. The room I stayed in was charming and comfortable overall. The grounds were well cared for and beautiful. Just loved the place and would love to return.
Cons: I gave comfort a lower rating because the bed was not comfortable and I did not get a good night's sleep. I suggested to the retreat that they get a new comfortable bed and it would make all the difference. With a more comfortable bed, the retreat would be simply ideal.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking a few things, cream cheese for bagels, perhaps muffins and se sweet rolls and more variety of fruit,
Pros: It met my expectation, very quiet and beautiful retreat. Breakfast can be improved.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to an amazing suite with a spectacular view. I couldn't have enjoyed this trip more and would highly recommend this resort. They recommended a restaurant right down the hill that was one of the best meals of my life.
Pros: Beautiful views and a lovely retreat.
Pros: SO BEAUTIFUL! So relaxing! Easy to get to. Staff was fantastic. Could not recommend enough!!!! Please note - this is a place to come for tranquility and romance (I came with my best friend though). We drank wines and did puzzles - a perfect escape from our busy LA lives.
Cons: Some of the rooms were pretty small. We originally booked the Oak Room and then happily switched to Ayara (or something). The website provides photos and descriptions of all the rooms!
Pros: Very pretty and very quite relaxing
Pros: The view from that hotel is amazing! The place is very quiet too, great location!
A stay at Casa Ojai Inn places you in the heart of Ojai, within a 5-minute drive of Soule Park Golf Course and Ojai Art Center. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Comfiest beds ever. Friendly staff. Great amenities. I loved it!
Cons: Said pet friendly but I was surprised by the added charge for our dog. No mention of it on web site
Pros: The staff was helpful; and the breakfast was good.
Cons: It was further from the downtown area than expected (but that was not their fault). The bed and pillows were not all that comfortable either.
Pros: It was very helpful to have bikes available for no extra cost. Nice pool, location great.
Pros: Location is just across the street from Soule Park Golf Course and just down the street from the city center.
Cons: The toilet was broken and the bed was not comfortable.
Pros: Breakfast was just okay....would have liked some fresh fruit.....location was easy...had stayed there years ago because it was close to golf course
Cons: the old hard chairs
Pros: Clean pretty great quiet location and lovely pool. Denise at the front desk is amazing. Helpful funny conscientious kind generous and real. I want to take her home with me! I was banned from Chantico Inn for writing an honest review of one of their rooms and it was the best thing to happen. Now I will only stay at Casa Ojai!!!!
Pros: Decent location, free use of bikes, spacious room.
Cons: Bed and pillows were lumpy, street noise, loud AC unit, cramped bathroom and the shampoo/soap dispenser seemed cheap and low quality.
Pros: Room was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Good personality of the whole experience.
Pros: Nice place. Well located and comfortable.
Cons: No issues.
Pros: The furnishings and bed were quite comfortable. The breakfast was minimal but the welcome cookies at 3 pm were quite tasty. Staff were great and helpful at recommending restaurants and things to do. Pool and spa were clean and inviting.
Cons: Our shampoo, body wash dispenser fell early in the morning causing a loud noise and an inconvenience. Staff apologized.
Pros: great location. cute & campy.
Cons: not a fit for me. needed better lighting. dog crying at night. couldn't open windows due to neighbors smoking cigarettes.
Pros: We loved the rancho! Such great vibes and beautiful rooms. The jacuzzi bath was especially great and the bed was comfortable. Loved chief’s peak as well! The pool area gets busy so get there early to score a sunbed.
Pros: We had room only. The position of the pool, cleanliness, safety, pool toys, all perfect. The room was quaint and very comfortable! Bikes borrowed to tour the village was great. Help and advice at Reception was first class, and meant so much to us.
Cons: The only wee problem... the bar pricing was very high!
Pros: The rooms were designed really nice! We love the look and feel of the rooms and the hotel itself.
Cons: They said it was pet-friendly. They should update that to pets allowed but not friendly. We were not allowed to leave our pets in the room nor could we bring our pets to any of the indoor or outdoor facilities on the property. I was told this at check-in.
Pros: Best bed and pillows! Sweetest staff!
Cons: Bathroom and in serious need of new AC!
Cons: No air conditioning
Cons: They were aware of a raccoon infestation that kept us up all night yet failed to disclose the issue. Worst night of sleep
Pros: Great vibe. Friendly staff. Great location. Nice pool area. Easy access to bike path.
Cons: Bathroom wasn’t fabulous but it was fine.
Pros: We had such a lovely time on our quick stay. Our room was comfortable, clean and unlike many hotels had quality details in the decor along with nice soaps and snacks. The location has a vintage bohemian vibe. The outdoor games by the pool and bar were also a fun perk. Wish we could have stayed longer! Great value for a very reasonable price!
Cons: Nothing to dislike, will be back.
Pros: It was nice having the kitchenette. The pool looked nice but the water temp was too cool so we didn't swim.
Cons: It was nearly impossible to cool the room down, even with the window air conditioner running 24/7, the ceiling fan on, and the curtains drawn. Also, it would have been nice to have been informed of special events, such as the movie by the pool, at check in.
Pros: Dog friendly. Great bar. Great location and everything smelled amazing.
Cons: Room was a bit chilly
Pros: Cutest property! Staff incredibly kind. Bar area adorable for happy hour and a great walking path into Main Street. Rooms super cute too.
Cons: We were in a room very close to the road which is like a highway and gets some of the street noise. It was still pretty well insulated but next time will request a room further away from the road!
With a stay at Oakridge Inn in Oak View, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Los Padres National Forest and Mission San Buenaventura. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We arrived after 11pm, office was closed but the guy was able to come down and give us our room. thank you
Pros: Nothing. We left a day early.
Cons: Bad mattress. No pool, no working spa. No breakfast. Basically not as advertised. Very noisy.
Pros: The jacuzzi was spacious
Cons: The bed bugs that chewed up my legs.
Pros: Real nice sleep. Liked the furniture.
Cons: The woman with the children running around at 8:15.
Pros: Crazy-big bathroom and tub.
Cons: Price was a little high.
Pros: Have stayed here a number of times over a period of many years and it just keeps getting better.
Pros: It was wonderfully quiet!
Cons: Can't think of anything we didn't like...
Pros: It is reasonably priced, quiet, no problem with parking. When visiting Ojai festival, it is perfect for us eliminating the noise and crowd of the town.
Cons: Maybe better choices for breakfast?
Pros: ............................................................seeing all your family
Cons: I think I left three shirts in the closet
Pros: The location was satisfactory, about 5 miles from Ojai, our destination visit. The property itself is very basic, decently landscaped, clean, and on the main drag, so convenient. There are well rated restaurants within walking distance though we didn't try them. Lake Casitas Recreational Park is close, providing family camping, a large pool/waterpark, and a lake for water sports. We visited it but did not use the facilities. They provide coffee and bagels, which we did not partake of. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was large, not sure why but nice. Parking was not an issue.
Cons: The guy checking us in was serious and not particularly friendly. I realize it was a Saturday night but I think the room was overpriced for what you get. Our room needed updating, with some of the furniture marred and the drapes seemingly from another era. Their complimentary breakfast is coffee and bagels, not much. We did not partake.
Cons: not a 24 hour front desk.
Pros: Nice service
With a stay at Chantico Inn in Ojai, you'll be in the historical district, within a 5-minute drive of Los Padres National Forest and Ojai Valley Museum of History and Art. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Close to downtown, nice pool and spa. Lovely outdoor area to have coffee and waffles.
Cons: The rooms are a bit dark.
Pros: See above
Pros: Great location and wonderful staff.
Cons: Could do with new / better pillows and rather than the tall beds (my in laws are old and struggled to get on them) some normal height king size beds would be ideal. The rooms are big enough to fit them.
Pros: Comfy quiet upstairs Queen room Perfect location to downtown Ojai Accommodating responsive staff Apologetic about broken ice machine Clean pool and spa Easy parking with no hidden fees/ restrictions Great lobby filled with antiques, WiFi and cable. Great boutique hotel choice for Ojai travelers.
Cons: Breakfast hours could be extended to 11am. Ice machine was broken but staff was apologetic. Room needs more top restaurant lists for affluent travelers.
Pros: Interesting decor, not your average cookie cutter motel, the staff was very helpful and tolerant of 3 grandchildren!
Cons: the parking gets a little challenging, having to back out of the lot, with no drive through exit.
Pros: Very good location and staff is very good
Cons: There is nothing to eat at breakfast. there is a lot butter but no toast, less than 1/5 of the milk and juice is empty,Everything has to wait for the manager to come, but the manager comes to work at 10 o'clock. we have 15 people only can drink coffee and tea. by the way the coffer is very good.
Pros: The room was very charming but if you have respiratory problems the spell of chlorine might send you to the hospitalThere is a huge jacuzzi tub in the room but only two two towels are provided!! In fact the pool and jacuzzi outside do not have any towels.
Cons: I have never seen a parking lot that didn't have a exit except the one you drove into!! Fortunately I arrived early so I was able to back into a space otherwise if you are driving a larger size car than you would need to do some extra manueuvers to exit
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The room was large and comfortable. The parking area was convenient.
Cons: Bathroom sink was so high, I could reach it to wash my face. I had to wash my face in the bathtub. Too dark at the mirror to apply my makeup.
Pros: Staff is kind , rooms are clean , pool is cute ( but small)
Cons: The rooms are furnished awkwardly. For example, our room had four (4!) mirrors but none I could comfortably take my contacts out in front of . The television is basically on the ceiling and furniture is unnecessarily clunky. No pool towels were available mid afternoon on a Saturday. No change at front desk for tipping/ vending . TERRIBLE free “breakfast “. It seems like a little attention to small sensible details would really make a difference.
Cons: Sink was super high and lighting was poor
Pros: Great location in Ojai. Friendly and helpful staff. We wanted to extend another night and anticipated having to move to a different room. The staff communicated to us that the guests moving into our current room canceled, so we could stay in the same room for the extra night.
Cons: The small seating patios right outside the rooms are nice for fresh air and reading a book. It didn't seem, however, that they are mopped that often. Although they are covered, and appear well-swept, our toddler was crawling around briefly as we read our books. After a couple minutes, his hands, feet, and pants, were black with dirt. Also, if the parking lot is very small and fills up fast. When full, you have to back up your car into a very busy street.
With a stay at Hummingbird Inn of Ojai in Ojai, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Los Padres National Forest and Soule Park Golf Course. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Everything !!!
Pros: Arrived and had to wait 45 mins for someone to check us in. One room had bugs. Other was so hot, air didn't work. We think there was a slab leak as the floor was boiling hot. Tried to find someone could not. Called it was an answering machine.
Cons: A call back. When checking our next morning again no one in lobby had to wait. Told them what had happened and nothing!! Not even a I'm sorry! Worst hotel/ motel ever! Can't believe you or any site would offer this hotel listing!!
Pros: Will likely stay again. Great price for a cute room.
Cons: The small fridge tilted but wasn’t a big deal.
Cons: Facilities are 1970. The room had an odor of age.
Pros: Proximity to my conference.
Cons: Slowest wifi in North America.
Pros: I liked the room, it was quiet, friendly staff.
Cons: From the photos it looked more secluded. I didn’t spend much time in the room, out of choice, but if I was interested in more lounging it wasn’t really located for that, pool too close to the road.
Pros: the website not updated, does not serves breakfast
Cons: The SHOWER is very old and it looks black. There is one big stain from peoples head against head board, looks very dirty.
Cons: No elevator Cleanliness. Room was beautiful.
Pros: Close to town, clean rooms and friendly staff.
Cons: The aircon is so loud! We needed it on at night as it was really warm but it made it hard to sleep through the noise. The pool area is a little dirty.
Pros: Quiet, neat & tidy, fairly close to downtown Ojai
Cons: No phone in room, mattress was a little slanted on one side, tub could have been whiter....
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly. We asked for an early check in and they were able to accommodate us. The pool area was clean - there were 8 comfortable chaises with tables and couple of comfortable chairs. The pool itself was clean and good size for recreational swimming. We had a very comfortable specious (regular) king size room, with wooden floor, writing desk and chair, corner chair, night stands and crispy white bed sheets. PS: just the bathtub could use an update.
Pros: Hope was super friendly
Cons: Bathroom toilet clogs up
With a stay at The Capri Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Ojai, within a 5-minute drive of Los Padres National Forest and Soule Park Golf Course. Featured amenities include express check-out and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location is perfect! Right off the main road in Ojai. Staff is super friendly! The room is HUGE compared to other hotels. The bathroom was super cute! Especially the toilet!
Cons: The pool was out of service, it was under maintenance. The floors on the upper level are very creaky. The staircase that is located at the back of the building was a little dirty.
Pros: Beautiful pool, very comfortable beds. Awesome for the price!
Cons: Bath towels are rough
Pros: Very nice swimming pool. Good space indoors.
Pros: Charming.,I loved the short walk into village for shopping and great Dining. Ended up staying an extra day. Love Capri. Great value. Can't wait to goback again soon.
Pros: location was perfect for us
Cons: No vanity in the bathroom, hot tub was under repair, no breakfast or vending, we were put in a handicap room and we weren't informed, shower was for someone in wheel chair, couldn't stand up
Pros: Great location
Cons: Clean, but needed updating.
Cons: Pool had been relaid recently, not as nice as it used to be. No breakfast any more. Lots of building work going on. We weren’t informed of this when we booked.
Pros: The view from our room and large patio enough to do yoga.
Cons: The tv did not work, nor the internet and when I told the front they didn’t apologize or try to solve. Not great service. Also it’s under construction.
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff
Cons: Property very disappointing. Needs a total redo, feels rundown. Only plus was comfortable bed but room itself smelled old, air conditioner on wall way too noisy and did not provide fresh cool air.
Pros: Beds and pillows were great!
Cons: Very old. Hard bed. Pool under construction. Definitely not worth the price tag.
Pros: The location and staff
Cons: The room - the furniture was old, bathroom shower ran low, pool under construction
