No one was available when I arrived and even though I checked in online and indicated a pickup time the car was not ready. Because the charging station at my hotel was not in service I asked to get an non electric vehicle instead. Instead of paying less I was actually charged more. No one was there when I returned my vehicle so i had to just leave the keys. Even though I dropped it off 5 hours earlier I was still charged extra. Extremely disappointed!!!

The Tesla was fun and interesting and the hotel had a charging station… it would be nice if Hertz put a toll charging station in on site so it was easier to find a place to re charge before dropping off. That would make it much easier for a first time user.

Kayak tricked me into going to airport location to pick up car when all along it was 12-14 miles away. Had to Uber both ways, cost $70. Kayak owes me a refund. Problems at hotel too. Hertz was no help, obstreperous.

The pick up was great, the agent talked a lot and I missed the fact that he did not include my pre-paid gassing $3.55 per gallon request , when I turned in the vehicle Hertz charged me $9.99 per gallon to fill it back up.

Uncertain why I had to wait 20 mins to get my vehicle. That was aggravating. It wasn’t busy nor being cleaned.

They were very sort answers when asked a question or told them something . I told them the car windshield wiper gave us trouble and all they said was “ I’m sorry”

Cons:

I went to that pick up location, the lady that was at the desk Mrs Ree-Ray give me and other reservation instead even when I told her that I came to pick up a reservation that I had on file , now am dealing with and unknown precedence, when I went to drop off on Saturday because I didn't know that I had the wrong car, they want to charge me 400$ for a drop off fee.

Pros:

Pick up took forever. Two desk staff...one guy was trying to accommodate s customer trying to rent without a credit card and the other girl spent 10 min.. small talk with customer...

Cons:

First car was filthy. Not vacuumed, windows streaked and there was even a piece of chewed gum on the floor behind drivers seat...second car wasn't much better.

I could not rent a car because they did not accept my Brazilian driver's license. I went there at the Thrift and was badly treated by the attendant, and have no car. It is amazing that I received this without even renting the vehicle.

Pros:

Thrifty charged $300 againsst my bank debit card without any explanation and told me upon returning the car that it would take up to 10 days to restore this amount. I will not rent from Thrifty again.

Pros:

The employees were great! Informative and friendly. In and out quickly. Paid for full size car and only offered arguably midsize Hyundai Elantra and Nissan Altima. Cars were very clean and in good shape. Felt like I got a good deal on the contract but wish the cars were bigger.

Cons:

Need bigger cars for full size option. Everything g else was great.

It drove just fine. It was clean.

Cons:

First thing first, i understand you cannot guarantee a brand or model of car. However, giving me a Jeep renegade and calling it "RAV4 or similar" is laughable. The RAV4 has 73.4 cubic feet of cargo space. This boxy little jeep has 50.8. That's quite a drastic difference. I fit more stuff in my 06 Corolla, and I'm being completely serious. Secondly, the RAV4 gets ~31mpg on the highway. This 4x4 box averaged 22 over 2 days. It's supposed to get 31 but it didn't. Maybe it needs a tune up.
