Cons:Use a different company. My flight from Afghanistan had engine problems and we did emergency landing and forced. To spend night in Bulgaria. I called in as soon as plane landed to cancel or pushback one day but agent said no help. When I finally got to Car Rental in SDF they double charged me and the rates went up to a premium of 85 dollars a day. But thank God we didn’t crash and all of us military got home to the USA safe and next time I just will not book their Kayak

No drop off time flexibility drop off time had to be the same as pickup time or they would charge us another full day!

Cons:I showed up after my designated pick up time only to realize that I had a two hour pick up window. Because I didn't show up within two hours of my appointment, I was stranded at the airport. I had to go with another agency which was a 50% increase in price. Not a good experience.

Pros:Clean car. Nice
Cons:1) Back up camera mount was broken. I don't use them anyway. 2) Extending the rental was so hard I had to go to the Airport and do it in person. It shouldn't be so hard to give you more business!

Cons:Location, though staffed with a friendly representative, was not prepared. Did not have car waiting. I had to wait 20+ minutes to get a car. A woman in the Budget booth kept using her cell to try to locate a car. The representative told me that they were part of Avis and not all the bugs were worked out. Finally keys were delivered and I had a car. For the return, there was no one to give the keys to (10AM). I put the keys and rental folder in a key drop but did not get a receipt. It was definitely not a smooth, warm and fuzzy experience.

Pros:Payless unapologetically refused to honor the reservation, explaining that they overbooked. They did not offer any compensation or even a different kind of car. I ended up paying 3x as much at Budget to get a car to get home. What can be done to get some form of compensation from Payless?
