Pros:Low price was really the only thing I liked about this company/service.
Cons:Customer service representative was rather unkind. She kept mumbling under her mask and I couldn't hear her. She would no even look at me to signal that she was talking to me so I had no idea she was talking to me. I explained to her that I couldn't hear her and she rolled her eyes. Made no attempt after that to speak up or look at me when she was talking to me. Car STUNK like cigarette smoke so bad. Really unprofessional showing up to a meeting smelling like second hand smoke. Will never use this company again.

Cons:They quoted me one price online and when I showed up they claimed they didn't have any cars to rent at all. After a moment, the attendant went to talk to someone and came back with a set of car keys. He claimed that they could give me this car but that I would have to pay the upgrade fee. I explained to him that I reserved a car at a certain price and that I wasn't going to pay the upgrade fee. He said that I would have to wait an hour or more until a car was brought back by another customer. I reluctantly agreed to pay the upgrade fee so I didn't have to sit and wait for an unknown period of time. The whole thing felt like a total scam. I'm considering writing the company a letter because it feels like such a ripoff. I will never use Payless again.
