When visiting New Milford, Homestead Inn is a great choice to consider. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Other highlights include a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and premium bedding.
Cons: Cereal for adults would be nice (Raisin Bran)
Pros: No trouble at all. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Best value in the area, yet a great room.
Cons: An indoor pool would have made this a 5 star rating. It was a bit of a drive from the colleges in Poughkeepsie, but not tooooo bad for the value and great hotel. I didn't bother to wake up early for the complimentary breakfast since the receptionist said it consisted of coffee and cookies.
Pros: Very pleasant staff; spotless rooms, corridors and entry. Both very business-like and comfortable.
Cons: door to bathroom opened outward and was then in path of entry to the rest of the room.

Very well appointed, welcoming lobby.
Cons: Liked it all !
Pros: First time at this location, previously stays were at Newbrgh location that was recently sold. Not as convienent as Newburgh location for my needs.
Pros: Liked the swimming pool and spa. Was quite.

Pros: Breakfast was great, room was clean, staff was nice.
Cons: I didn't like that the site I booked through showed pictures of amenities the hotel did not have.
Cons: I wish breakfast lasted longer
Cons: I did not feel like KAYAK adequately represented the pet fee charge at the Hyatt House. KAYAK lists "pet friendly" as if it is an amenity, like cable tv, breakfast, or a swimming pool. We choose to stay at the Hyatt House based on them being pet friendly. Little did we know that we were going to be charged $75 for having our pet with us during our stay.
Upon review this information was available at the Hyatt House website, however it was not included in the KAYAK description.
KAYAK would be better serving its customers by including this information. Thanks
Pros: location was convenient
Cons: 1. No Bellhop in the lobby to carry the luggage.
2. The fixtures in the room seems dated
3. Hotel could use a face lift.
Pros: Great reception at front desk - thank you, Ryan!
Pros: We were exhausted from a cross-country trip bringing our son to college and were so grateful to find the beautiful Hyatt House Fishkill. It's very conveniently located off the freeway, close to shops and restaurants and is so comfortable and fresh. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had and the staff was so friendly and helpful. This is our new go-to hotel on road trips to visit our son!
Pros: Good rate (non-refundable). Very clean and well-maintained. Excellent breakfast - best free hotel breakfast I've ever seen. Very attentive staff; Most everyone I saw said hello or asked how I was. Well-rounded on-site facilities: pool, exercise, bistro, small food shop
Cons: A little difficult to find
Spacious suites and rooms - full kitchens - clock radios - iPod docking station - flat screen TV. Amenities and services include a la carte evenings with premium wine and beer and appetizers - Lounge and Bar - indoor pool and whirlpool - fitness cntr with cardio and weights - on-site market - guest laundry and dry cleaning svcs. Comp breakfast with made-to-order omelets - Starbucks coffee - internet throughout hotel - multi-station business cntr and USA Today
Pros: Contemporary and well decorated. Manicured grounds. Rooms very comfortable with modern conveniences.
Cons: Bistro in the lobby had skeleton staff on a Saturday night. Must order food at the bar. Food is essentially snacks or heated sandwiches. The breakfast hours ended at 10 a.m. Sunday which was not made clear to me when checking in.

Cons: You could hear people above you and next to you, which made it uncomfortable to enjoy our stay. Seemed outdated and staff was so so. When needing a cab, they gave me the number instead of calling one for me as their guest. Shuttle service was misleading on website. Not available for needed hours. One of the reasons I went for this hotel was because of the shuttle. It was a waste. Will look elsewhere next time heading up to the Culinary Institute of America.
Pros: Love the rooms very nice and. Comfortable
Cons: Wish the breakfast was until 11 instead of 10.

Pros: beds more comfortable than Residence Inn down the road. More breakfast options and the staff is really helpful.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Complimentary bananas, tea, and coffee at all hours!
Cons: Too bad the pool was closed, but they did offer passes to a nearby pool.
Pros: Good breakfast.
Pros: The staff was excellent.
Cons: It was a little dated.
Pros: Very clean, great location right off I84
Cons: They hold 50 something $ for few days on cc!
Pros: Room was large and clean with expected amenities. Breakfast was very good. Fruit available in lobby. Popcorn sometimes available in lobby. Convenient to Beacon, NY.
Cons: Signage to get to the hotel was poor. Hampton Inn located far behind a Ramada hotel and very few signs indicated where the Hampton Inn was located. A mad-house at breakfast. Huge price increase on weekend.
Pros: The staff at front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was great. It had all the amenities that you would expect from a good hotel.
Pros: Hotel staff was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is a little strange being place behind the more seedy looking hotel. Overall, great experience!
Cons: The hotel's location is a little strange being place behind the more seedy looking hotel ... Obviously, I understand the hotel cannot be moved, so not really any suggestions here.
Pros: Clean and Friendly staff
Cons: indoor pool too cold
Pros: Staff is super friendly
Cons: The toilet handle had some type of gunk on it. Didn't touch it. Breakfast here is normally great but they substituted bacon for turkey sausage, yuck!! And the eggs were slimy.
Pros: Small hotel but great for a night or 2 stay. Very trendy and nice. GREAT breakfast, better than most bigger hotels. So much selection.
Cons: Shower took a couple minutes to get hot. Even on the hottest setting it was luke warm then hit me like a ton of bricks. Cleaners tried to come in TWICE while we were sleeping and had 2 hours before checkout.

Pros: The size of our room was fantastic. There was more than enough room for 3 or more people. It was clean, but it could use some modernization. The breakfast was more continental, coffee, a muffin, cereal, toast * yogurt. It did fill you up, and you really didn't need more choices. The resident dog Charlie, was very friendly and well behaved.
Cons: The rooms could use some up dating.
Enjoy your visit to Brewster with a stay at Heidi's Inn. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily. Other highlights include a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: I enjoy my stay but it was only one little thing
Cons: The only thing I did not like of my staying in the hotel was that I needed to change my room because showerhead was broke and the maintenance was not there to fix it.. they only come once at day in the morining.. ..

Pros: loved the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the location was next to or not far away from everything you could need if you forgot to pack something. Rooms were very clean and the carpet was sticky as the one we stayed in just outside of atlantic city awhile back and the views of the mountains especially during sunrise and sunset was extremely beautiful.
Cons: didn't like the strong order of chlorine when you enter the hotel's lobby, barely any space to sit and eat your breakfast, towels were very rough against the skin, price was really high and tiny bathroom

Pros: The facilittle was clean. The breakfast was good but more seating on outside patio would have been a nicer touch.
Cons: Our bathroom door would not shut. The bathroom looked like shoddy work was done to try to fix door and something else but not done well.
Pros: we stayed at the best western for vassar college parent's weekend. it was the perfect location to go back and forth to campus. the room was big and comfortable and staff incredibly friendly and helpful. i would stay there again!
Pros: Reception was very friendly, gave us a credit, and did pretend to try to move us.
Cons: Didn't hold reservation and gave us downgraded room. TV reception terrible "because of the rain". TV remote did not work. AC barely worked. Tub drain broken. Breakfast was minimal and low quality. Shabby, old interiors.
Pros: Wonderful; staff, clean room
Pros: The staff member working in the morning was great. She was personable, helpful, checked on specifics of our stay, and apologized for the mistakes that were made. Also, the breakfast was great-lots of choices.
Cons: The person on staff when we checked in was NOT very friendly, and did not offer information. I had to ask about the evening reception, which I found out about when my confirmation email was sent to me.
I had requested extra towels, which we did not receive.
Also, my bill did not reflect my kayak rate. I was charged the regular Best Western rate. When I pointed it out, the morning staff person did get it corrected.

Pros: The room -very clean and comfortable. And the setting was lovely and convenient
Pros: It was a nice resort with everything! The courtyard was picturesque. I definitely enjoyed staying in a suite, rather than a room. Everything was clean. I liked the pool and hot tub. The free breakfast was definitely to die for. Lewis Chiu
Cons: Lewis Chiu
Cons: Noise from other rooms
Pros: One Of The Best In The Poughkeepsie Area, Centrally Located And Mins From Everything You May Want Or Need. The Separate Living Room/Kitchen/Dining/Office Was A Great Space. Plus The Couch Pulls Into A Bed Which Is Great!
Cons: Liked Almost Everything. Only Thing I Could Even Say I Didn't Like Was Parking BUT It Was Sold Out So Can't Complain Much.
Pros: Staff was friendly and the accommodations were great
Cons: There was nothing I did not like about the hotel
Pros: The pool lol
Cons: No everything was perfect staff Were great and Hotel employee is excellent.
Pros: Exterior and facilities were clean and well kept. The bedroom was adequate with sink, microwave and fridge.
Cons: Bed was not a King however and seemed smaller than a Queen. The mattress was very uncomfortable, the worst I've slept on in what I can remember and I've stayed in about 50 different Hotels in my life.
Pros: Mostly everything except the mattress on the bed. To soft. Not firm enough. Other than that very clean hotel, excellent accommodations, etc. Overall we (my husband and I ) had a very pleasant stay at the Residence Inn. Surely, we would stay at this hotel
Cons: While the room was very nice, clean, with modern furniture, granite countertops, etc. the mattress on the bed was not as firm as I would have liked it to be.
Pros: Staff were very pleasant
Cons: bed and pillows were fairly soft.
Pros: The location was absolutely brilliant for me, and it does give a homely vibe while you are in the room. I just stayed here for one night, but will defiantly come back
Cons: I can hear the snoring from the next room, which was kinda funny in a way
Pros: The room was a nice size. It had a separate living room and kitchenette.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Workout facility was very small.

Cons: Asked for extra towels and wine glasses to be brought to room when I left for dinner. Returned to no extra towels and no wine glasses. Heat in room was broken. Didn't realize until 4am when room was freezing.
Pros: location. check in went smoothly
Pros: It was conveniently located. Bed was extremely comfortable.
Cons: High price for a very small room.
Pros: We had called in advance and had asked for a room in the quietest location (away from any possible highway noise, not near an elevator) and a king-size bed - and received both. WIFI worked well.
Cons: Had no problems.
Pros: Nice people
Cons: Shower was terrible
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Breakfast should be included with this price.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is nice and clean. Good location next to diner and Walmart.
Pros: Location, in hotel dining and great staff
Pros: Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Took about 20 minutes for our breakfast to be made. 1 oatmeal 1 French toast. There were no other customers in the dining area at the time.
Pros: The staff were great and helpful
Cons: The air conditioner needs service, the compressor is very loud and constantly came on.
Everything else excellent
Pros: Friendliness and cleanliness
Cons: Soap way too fragrant... Made me sneeze a lot. Better quality soap needed.

Pros: The bar was great... Front desk, great...rooms, nice...overall, nice... Could be better
Cons: The attention to detail seemed lost... Dings, dents, bad painting..... Basic hotel upkeep seemed lacking...
Pros: We stayed here a few years ago, and they've definitely been upgrading. The rooms and the hotel are much nicer than I remember. The front desk staff was really welcoming and helpful. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. The location is really convenient.
Cons: The complimentary breakfast is really bad. Wedged in a back ballroom, everything was cold and half-hearted. It took forever to have basics like cream and water pitchers refilled. There are tons of great diners in the area. It's definitely worth venturing out and paying elsewhere.
Pros: Heating system out dated
Cons: I couldn't. Get a double bed room
Located near a train station, Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Poughkeepsie. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Market Street Grill, which serves lunch and dinner. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with room service and free WiFi.
Pros: Old school motel on a roadside, clean, convenient to Poughkeepsie and Fishkill, where we needed to go. Room with full kitchen (but we did not need it).
Worked OK for our needs, but it ain't the Hilton.
Not like a chain hotel in both good and bad ways. (think time travel to 1960)
Cons: Old school motel on a roadside. TV picture did not work, only sound. Front door w/o a good bolt you can lock from inside. A little run down, but still clean.
Not like a chain hotel in both good and bad ways (think time travel to 1960)
Enjoy your visit to Cold Spring with a stay at Countryside Motel. Free perks include WiFi and self parking.
Pros: The staff was very courteous and went out of their way to say hello and talk to us.
Cons: The whole place is very run down. When we entered our room we found that the drapery covered the a/c unit so we had to find a way to push the drapes aside to let the air in without leaving the window completely exposed. The tub didn't drain well so I felt like I was standing in someone else's bathwater. The toilet clogged and when I told them at the front desk, they handed me a plunger that was wet, wrapped in a plastic bag. The pool water was cloudy and had not been skimmed but there weren't any towels in the Clean towel bin anyway. The breakfast was really sub par for this type of place. We will not stay there again.
Pros: Front desk staff incredibly helpful.
Best mattress in any hotel.
Cons: Broke switch on heat lamp.
Pros: Found a good deal at the last minute.
Cons: Breakfast bacon was odd.
Cons: It was not worth the price
Pros: This was a low income housing project. I counted on your review and got burnt for doing so. Immediately went to Walmart to get room spray and febreeze. The room smelt of fried food...awful! I also purchased 2 pillows and 2 blankets so I did not have to sleep in the bed. The whole stay was just horrible, did not sleep at all. The grounds were filthy and you can immediately see that low income families were living here, kids were playing around the grounds, just horrible. Thanks for looking out for my best interest, just glad I did not have to have a client meet me here.
Pros: Nice to be able to have space for the kids and some space left for my wife and I. Breakfast is nice too, and makes the stay a better value. (Breakfast would probably run us $40-&50 elsewhere)
Cons: A little outdated, but it seems they're addressing this as it appears a number of units are being updated
Pros: The hotel was clean, but very run down. Bed was crooked, pillows were too little and cheaply filled. Appliances were old. Could hear people outside all night.
Pros: The room was conveniently located to food, gas and right off of the main highway.
Cons: Front Desk was rude on first call, placed on hold for 8 mins, had to repeat myself. Booked online then
Pros: Beds were OK. Lots of room inside suite.
Cons: Exterior is really run down. Paid way too much for what we got.

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room has been recently renovated and everything was very clean. Having a refrigerator in the room is very appreciated. The size of the room is very generous, giving us plenty of room to spread out during a five day stay.
Cons: We had a room on the first floor. During one night of our stay, there was another guest in the room above us. The sound proofing between floors is non-existent and you could hear every single footstep of our upstairs neighbor, loudly. Also, we were happy to see that the windows could be opened for some fresh air but, any time we tried to open them, someone would start smoking outside the front entrance and the smoke smell would waft into our room. Disgusting.

Cons: Reserved king bed but did not get one-any credit due?
Cons: smell in the room... disinfectant? or cleaner?
Pros: It was close to the race i was running, the bed was decent.
Cons: The walls were paper thin, the towels were rough & the size of glorified face clothes, the bed had no blankets or comforter...just a sheet. The carpet was extremely stained & dirty. Was worth no where close to the price paid for the night.
Pros: It was incredibly clean, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Parts of the property appeared shabby and rundown. It is a motel on a very large lot, so when you drive in, and everything is really spread out, it leaves you wondering if it is safe. There is very little outdoor lighting.
Pros: cleancomfortablespacious roomfridge and microwave
Pros: Muy limpia y espaciosa habitación. un lugar muy tranquilo.
Cons: la habitación no es como la foto de la promoción, la decoración no es muy bonita.
We arrived after midnight and they were there to give us the keys. Very accommodating.
Pros: I like the location.
Cons: The rooms were dated, but clean. I expected the room to look like the pictures online, the one we stayed in was not as nice.
It had a lovely, clean room and the staff was attentive and friendly.
Pros: The room was very clean and had a good view...staff was helpful. I loved the location.
Cons: There is nothing I did not like
Very clean and lots of room. A cheep clean place to stay. I would definitely stay again.
Pros: The location
It was quiet and the bed was comfy
Pros: It was clean and comfortable
Cons: I'm used to sleeping with extra pillows maybe two more would have been good
The room was large and very quiet
Pros: The location for me was great. The staff was very friendly and the room was super clean.

Pros: Proximity to local ammentities and value for surrounding competition
Pros: The staff was extremely nice.
Cons: I booked a regular queen suite, and I got a handicapped suite which I think was a double bed. It was uncomfortable and dated.

Pros: This is a good place to stay for a night or two in the area, and is good value for money. It's not luxurious, but practical.
Cons: The location can be a bit tricky for getting to some places not on I-84.
Pros: The front desk staff was helpful and apologetic
The room had a mystery wet section of carpet. It was so damp it was like staying in a basement. Carpet dirty shower curtain torn lampshades torn- this was the room they switched us to. The first reeked of cigarettes despite the large no smoking. There was no manager on the oremises. We only stayed 1 of our 3 nights and moved to the Hiktin Garden Inn across the street which was lovely
Cons: Stepping into front door strong mildew odor ,remote to TV was filthy not sure but looked like buggers on buttons
Pros: Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is in an area close to restaurants and shopping. Area seemed safe for walking around.
Pros: Free wifi, nice desk setup, plenty of easily accessible power outlets.
Cons: Stains on the curtains, stains on the office chair, a little gross but working in emergency medicine makes you pretty tolerant of gross things. I laid down towels on seating surfaces so as not to gag. Never saw a maid so never got a chance to mention it.
Pros: Everything was clean and they had the best price in the area with great amenities. I w would recommend for anybody wanting to stay in the area.
Cons: Some of the furniture were slightly broken or had a bit of wear on them but I didn't mind because I didn't use them at all.
Pros: It was quiet
Cons: The room was dirty I stepped on a nail from the carpet ....wholes in the carpet in the room and hallways.....was not a fan of their breakfast they refused to change our room when my daughter and I had some sort of allergic reaction to something in the room .....we were find everywhere else we went but when we got bk to the room ...sneezing itching watery eyes short of breath really thankful I packed meds ....large cobwebs in the ceiling corners ...beds were very uncomfortable
