Pros: The staff was amazing. Very helpful. From the moment I told them I forgot my dog's leach and they provided me with rope to the smiling hellos in the morning at breakfast to the whether update as I was leaving. Super wonderful.
Pros: Good location. Lots of restaurants in the area.
Cons: No restaurant in the hotel. Very crowded due to 3 weddings though I suppose this was beyond the hotel's control.
Pros: The star level is definitely to low. It should be rated higher. The hotel is right off I84 and RT17 so it is very hard to loose your way. It also close to dining, hospital and auto services.

Pros: Really like how the hotel had complementary coffees, teas, and cookies all day. The room was very clean and the staff was also accommodating.
Cons: WHen I got there someone had been in it already, showered in my room and the bed was undone. The hotel staff was horrible and said it was too busy to help me with my situation. What the hell kind of a hotel is this?
Hotel was very good. Will stay again.
Pros: The breakfast buffet excellent.Everything in general was very good.
Cons: Could not accommodate a pull out bed.The room had space for it.
Room was very clean. Common area was very neat and clean. We didn't have use of the pool. Very inexpensive and really very nice. Breakfast was better than expected, as well. Not just muffins & bagels-not elaborate but very nice for an included breakfast.

Cons: The separation of sink from bathroom and that the bathroom was very small.
Pros: Very friendly and caring staff
Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Pros: Staff was nice; when desk clerk learned I was unable to use stairs she offered to re-assign us to a ground floor room. They have an elevator, so I didn't, but it was sweet. Breakfast was adequate. Room was clean, mattresses were good.
Cons: I am disabled. There was still snow when we visited, and while the parking lot was cleared, all of the disabled spots (several) had snow piled in them and were not usable. It surprised me to have this be ignored.
Pros: Its location was good
Cons: There was an additional charge for my mother-in-law and father-in-law who stayed with us in the room
Pros: clean room comfortable bed
Cons: no newspaper for guests broken waffle maker at breakfast
Pros: Location is just outside of Monticello. Staff was VERY friendly. Room was large and clean as was the bathroom. Everything worked in the room, bed was comfortable. No noise from other travelers.
Cons: Contruction on the building at 8 am, to finish updates and revmodeling of the building and rooms.
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located near all. Hotel employee checked us into the hotel and was very easy to speak to and helpful. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff was courteous & respectful. The continental breakfast was more than expected.
Cons: The only problem we experience was an overflowed commode and was quickly attended to by staff immediately.
Pros: My room was in great condition. Everything looked new and better shape than other hotels I stayed.
Pros: Clean, large, modern, quiet room. Large high-quality flat-screen TV. Large parking lot. convenient location.
Pros: There was nothing to complain about, location excellent, everything was clean, staff friendly and helpful, amenities available, complimentary breakfast offered enough and with variety. Would definitely recommend staying there!

Pros: Cheerful service that is all about the customer. This was by far one of the BEST stays I've had away from home. They even took the time out to take the shells off the boilled eggs...That's pretty incredible service in my book. Attention to detail on all aspects and avenues, I look forward to my next stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Middletown! :)
Pros: The Staff was excellent from beginning to end (check-In & check-out)! The place was nice and clean. The location was 1 exit from the mall and grocery stores. The hotel also had quite a few restaurants well within walking distance (as in right next door).
Cons: The frame around our door had gap. There was no Fridge or Microwave in our room. There was construction going on during our stay (didn't bother us too much though).
Pros: on the edge of town so easy to get to. offered a 15% discount on a meal at a restaurant nearby. Would highly recommend.
Cons: room a little small but ok for 1 person
Pros: The staff was WONDERFUL! Smiling and cheerful. Beautiful room.
Cons: Towels looked so inviting on the rack but were rough enough to exfoliate you when you used them. And no fridge in the room. I can pay a quarter of the price at a cheap motel and have a fridge and microwave in my room.

Pets are welcome at this smoke-free lodging.
Cons: cigarette smoke permeates hall and lobby. bad decor. not clean. 3 surrounding rooms full of large group of men eating smelly food and socializing in the hall in their underwear. Classy!
Pros: Not much
Cons: It is a run down hotel. There was a smell in the hotel that I smelled the minute we walked in. It never went away. My daughter complained of a ringing in her ears all night. Something was buzzing in our room. I thought I really overpaid for this hotel and am not happy about it. Also as we were packing things in our car, many of the cleaning staff were standing outside the door we used to go to car smoking cigarettes. They propped the door open to do this so the smoke smell was coming into the hotel. We had to walk past them and the smoke and smell of their cigarettes. This is something I absolutely despise. Employees smoking right outside a place.

Pros: The hiking trails was beautiful and outside of the hotel is well taken care off.
Cons: The hotel room was old style, everything from the 80's. The 'restaurant' only open for 3 times 1,5hr each meal. You only can have a buffet style, the food not good, but eatable, nothing else is around. So we didn't have to much choice.Staff not nice either
Pros: movieviewing room, park for children, pool quiet and clean
Cons: many of the staff didn't know anything-quitte disorganized
very large hotel. common area are funky and dated to the 70's,80's. the spa area is a bit dirty or need of renovation. a bit pricey for what it is...
Pros: the massage was amazing from 'BO'..double room was spacious, quiet along within a comfortable bed..
Cons: the furniture was shabby, chipped and dated.
I had read reviews that said it was 'creepy'. That describes it. Long hallways with no people. Had printed sign that toilet may clog and to call front desk for it. Sure enough that happened.
Pros: The location was what brought us here. Stayed after a Bethel Woods concert and before we needed to be to Troy, NY.
Cons: Entry way was dark and unmarked. We arrived at night. The parking lot is not lit. We went to what we thought was registration because the door was wide open and that turned out to be a hallway with rooms. The next door was a hallway. It was the third.
Boring, Lonely, Creepy- but clean. Very clean. Dimly lit. SAD FEELING. The little staff were professional- but it felt as if they were not too excited to be there. But Clean. As hospitality goes, it didn't feel like a home away from home. It felt like I was intruding in someone else's home that couldn't wait for me to leave. They were trying to pitch a WELLNESS angle but it didn't feel at all wellness driven. They had facilities but no personnel to man them- it felt like walking into an empty airport. I can't pinpoint one thing because there were too many little things that made a FEELING... but as a resort, it was DEPRESSING.
Pros: A lot of space. It was CLEAN.
Cons: It did not have the warm welcoming feeling. The stairwell halls were creepy, moldy, dimly lit and walls were filthy. Our room had limited furniture or any real ambiance- so BASIC - just large space with basics. It felt like a large, clean motel.
We felt we spent too much money for our stay than what it was worth.
Pros: Location (great view) and staff. Also indoor pool area was nice.
Cons: Overall the hotel decor was stuck in the 80's. Very dated public spaces. Dinner buffet was really overpriced for what it was.
It was unfortunate that this experience was not a nice as it could have been. The location was peaceful, but there were other issues, there were holes in walls they tried to cover up with furniture. Staff was inconsistent with guests regarding rules and procedures, which at times appeared to guest to border on culture and race. Students were there and were often verbally mistreated. The food was uninspiring, and often made some guests feel uncomfortable. The wait staff was polite in the dining area, but the individuals in the front desk were often new, and hot potatoed information around to each other. Ugh. Unprofessional. Hotels are supposed to be an illusion, a diversion, even when on business. You don't want reasons, you want comfort, answers and results when things need to be changed.
Pros: The nature walks were nice. It was quiet and peaceful.
Cons: Some staff was often unprofessional, at times, crossed the line of rude. Confusion regarding wristbands and packages. There were inconsistencies with rules and regulations and lots of confusing explanations regarding them. The food was not appetizing.
A great stay at Honor's Haven Resort & Spa in Ellenville can include a round of golf at the 9-hole course. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or body scrubs. There's an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, and rooms at this romantic resort offer LCD TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: We stayed in the new building up on the hill and everything was very clean the carpets were very clean and there was no offensive smell in the room Continental breakfast was very nice We will stay there again
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, great value! Hotel met the needs of myself and wrestlers traveling. Thank You Days Inn Wurtsboro
Cons: Found bed bugs in the room
Pros: Location close to where I was visiting
Cons: Room and bathroom were far from elected. Definitely not a 2 star
Pros: Room was clean and warm, and looked newly renovated. Easy location to a grocery and mall. Bathroom was spacious and water pressure was nice. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Wish Breakfast was a little better labeled and had a better variety.
Pros: Convenience to nearby venue
Cons: Old, outdated, needs a refresh. Mold could be smelled in rooms,
Pros: The room was fairly spacious and the town was quaint,
Cons: While checking us in the guy was talking on the phone & seemed uninterested in us.The key did not work & had to be taken back & reset; thus causing a 10 min delay. There were blobs of nasty ugly brown stuff stuck on the showere curtain-- maybe paint?

Pros: Staff friendly and helpful in trying to resolve issues by giving us another room.
Cons: Arrived on Friday night and as we entered the hallway on 2nd floor to go to our room the smell of marijuana smoke filled the air. The smell was so strong we thought they were smoking in hallway. Our room was in another hallway and the smell of cigarette smoked filled the air and our room. I asked the clerk if we could move to a room away from the smoking rooms and was told this was a non smoking facility. The smoking was a guest issue but not having cable tv in the room was a hotel issue that we were not aware of. We were told this was due to transition to digital cable which was in process of switching over. Being aware of this prior would have made all the difference. This was not an issue at the hotel other family members were staying at. The bed we had which was king size was so hard and uncomfortable we took the sheet of to make sure it wasn't a boxspring. I had stayed at this hotel a year ago during the week with a room on 1st floor and didn't have any of these issues. After this experience will not stay again. I do want to mention the staff and breakfast was good.
Pros: Fine; room smelled like wet paint when we got there but was nice. Our friends on the second floor (we were on the first) had a gross room that smelled like wet dog, though. Maybe they're renovating, but so far only part of the building?

Cons: Upon arrival I was told that they couldn't find my reservation because their system was down, and I later heard from another guest there that the "system was down" every single time that the guest called to attempt to reconfirm her reservation.
The woman who manages the place was apparently never taught simple manners or words like "please" and "thank you," and upon handing me the room key she curtly told me, "NO BREAKFAST" -- which was surprising since the free breakfast was advertised at booking.
As I went to the room another couple that was staying there warned me, "I hope you don't have asthma -- this place is disgusting." Fortunately the room itself was not quite THAT bad but there were literally parts of the building that were falling off and hanging over the walkway in front of the rooms. It felt unsafe.
Don't expect 24-hour service. Nobody could be found in the front office the next morning. There was just a basket left on the counter with a note indicating to leave the keys in it to check out.
Pros: I liked the price compared to the other lodges in the area which can be double. It is motel style so you can park right in front of your room.
For only a night or two for sleeping purposes only it's fine.
Cons: The room was dated and the bathroom was not very clean. The "jacuzzi" tub/shower was weird.
When visiting Monticello, Econo Lodge Monticello is a great choice to consider. Free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking.
Pros: The room was very large, the bed was comfortable, it was very quiet and we got a good night sleep. The people who worked there were nice and helpful. It's the opposite of luxurious, but our daughter was at a nearby camp and we needed a place to stay overnight, so it got the job done.
Cons: The internet barely worked, the pool was closed, and "breakfast" was so pathetic that we were laughing. Overall, it felt a little creepy, but really it was fine, just run-down.
Cons: I can deal with staying at a moderately run-down facilitiy, if I were getting a low enough price to boot. Certainly $89 was too much for this, however I needed a place in a pinch.
When I arrived, your front desk person nor manager was anywhere to be found. I admit that I got there at 12:30 AM, but a reservation was made and it should be honored. Another couple was there as well, looking for their room. The sign on the desk said "if not here, call this #". We called and simply heard the phone ringing in the adjacent room, unanswered. Fortunately, after much searching, the lady of the other couple was able to locate the desk man at about 1 AM.
Although the room cleanliness was somewhat bearable, and the mattress decent, clear signs of neglect were apparent: electrical wiring exposed, bathroom tile chipped, and rug stains. And although I had no intention of using it, the pool was shut down for repairs.
The morning staff was nicer I admit (and actually there!!). I checked out peacefully and left.
Knights Inn is not known for being "top-of-the-line", but it can be a much better go-to name if they simply took care of the little problems, and made their places habitable.
Probably not staying here again, unless there's a major change in ownership or attitude.
Cons: Puke stains on room floor, bug bites from bed, rude staff.
