Very nice hotel that managed to avoid the many modernisation gags that have destroyed the atmosphere in so many formerly great hotels - without feeling dusty, at all. Yes, the corridors and the lift could do with a new coat of paint, but who cares. My room was spacious and lovely, with a private terrace overlooking the rooftops; perfect for having breakfast while catching the first rays of the sun. It's a small hotel. Take the Danieli in the sixties, cut it up and let a small piece of it overgrow with vines in the middle of Rome: voilà, the Raphael. Staff exceptionally nice and well-trained. Location unbeatable.
evry thing is excellent staff is excellent the hotel is away from metro you should use taxi but no broblem as the hotel is central the taxi will not cost a lot no room service after 11 pm
The staff were very efficient and pleasant. Very good location for siteseeing and shopping in the heart of Rome. Very good restaurant with quick efficient service.
Excellent central location just off Piazza Navona. Nice rooms, well decorated. Staff friendly. Bedroom was too hot at night - air conditioning had been turned off.
Proximity to the sights
Luxurious; great location and views from roof terrace Reception staff OK but not overly helpful, waiters / waitresses very helpful; expected food, drink etc. to be expensive but was actually exhorbitant
fantastic location, ambience and service
we stayed in the navona sutie and it was terrific. we celebrated my wife's birthday and they supplied us with cake, champagne, fruits and gifts. the shower was not great and could use instructions as it had many features.
All staff were very kind The gym was not confortable, very cool and not any matress at the floor for exercices, not sauna ??
The hotel staff were very friendly. The showers in the bathroom were a little small.
Interior design (of rooms) & convinient location for shopping. We were a bit underwhelmed by the breakfast.
Loved the rooms, the size, and the shower! So many rooms have terrible showers or shower pressure, this hotel was great in that regard
Good but overpriced hotel (as most in rome). Good location (near vatican and piazza del popolo) Small room for a 4 star hotel. Average berakfast.
The atmosphere was great , trendy hallways and cool rooms. Room was too hot
Location. The room was extraordinarily dark, and I'm typically a fan of less lighting. It was also much smaller than advertised online; staff said they had included the bathroom size in their calculations. Staff were not unprofessional, but less than friendly and welcoming. This became even more apparent when we changed to a neighboring hotel where staff were superb.
From front desk to breakfast and bar staff, everyone was very welcoming, friendly and very patient with our limited Italian! Large room with balcony was great - very comfortable but not fussy. Great paintings everywhere!
Friendly staff, good space utilizatoin and modern style There is no WIFI Internet service in the rooms. The rooms needs better ventilation. Although they are clean, they can easily catch any smell.
A great place To stay in Rome. Breakfast was regular.
Great location, decent breakfast, nice bar, and great staff... Horrible mattress........
Location The room had a persistent mold/mildew smell that we could not get away from. The bathroom door would not stay open and was very heavy. Staff was made aware and they said they were booked for the night, but we could switch in the morning. We never heard back.
Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the hotel and restaurant. There was a strong oder of disinfectant throughout the hotel. You could feel the springs in the mattress.
Centrally located, staff goes out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. Great room.
The space The price, the attitude of the staff, and the response times.
GREAT HOTEL, CLEAN AND CONFORTABLE.VERY CLOSE TO VATICAN EVERYTHING WAS FINE.I WOULD LIKE I COULD HAVE STAYED MORE DAYS IN
Great staff, clean rooms Would love a bigger room
Modern, very high standards of service, excellent location but crazy expensive at €290 per night and a mind blowing €50 for room service of tea and croissants in bed! The prices
location almost perfect, friendliness of the staff, food is excellent, excellent renovated hotel. we will be back in rome just to stay in the hotel!! the only remark was some traffic in the street in the front of the hotwel, when the city was waking up.
Located in a very interesting area.staff very helpful and professional.room very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was too predictable
The service is top notch. Everyone is so friendly. They are always checking in to see how everything is going. Breakfast is really good too. The room could be a little bigger and so can the bathroom.
Although we did not use the staff very often when we did they appeared helpful and attentive. none
Perfect location. Room was very comfortable, clean, modern, overall extremely pleased with my choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar and restaurant was a fabulous way to end the day and see sunsets. Will definitely stay at this property next time in Rome.
It 'location Hugely over priced.
The staff could not have been more helpful. Everything we asked for was delivered with speed and a friendly, helpful attitude It would have been nice to have had a few more English channels on the TV without having to pay extra for them
From rooftop terrace to being able to step onto Via Giulia and walk to everything, this hotel is a fabulous mix of location and comfort. The subterranean spa, which is complimentary for guests, is okay but a little more rustic than we were imagining.
Good location, modern and clean. Good rooftop bar and nice to have a spa although we didn't use it Room was small however apparently this is normal for Rome
Great location. Gtreat A/C Small rooms. Minimum spa. No pool. Limited parking.
the breakfast is amazing for italy....they even had eggs, fresh squeezed orange juice... it was cold and the heater didn't work.
design, comfort, location room is small
Staff was polite. This hotel has been rated 4 stars which is completely undeserved. The rooms are tiny and the beds were a couch converted into a bed. There was no air-conditioning and we were told that was because it was winter and they only had heating then. The WiFi provided was slow and intermittent. There was an elevator which never worked and was always occupied. The location wasn't great. It's not walking distance to any of the sights.
Just off central, but able to woalk everywhere No
Staff, breakfast, location nothing
Its locations, as hotel is close to most places to visit in Rome General cleaning of rooms and F&B outlets lacks in care of details and it is a big let down......as it could elavate the status of property.
The hotel staff. The Terrace, breakfast views. Great location. Great stay.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Freshly squeezed orange juice, even sparkling wine. Our room was unfinished with electrical wires hanging unconnected. Ceiling was missing under air conditioning unit. Cover plates on electrical switches missing. Only one bedside cupboard and no drawers at all.
The breakfast terrace was amazing, the breakfasts were tasty too and we liked the italian chef! The rooms were spotlessly clean. When leaving the hotel we burst the tyre of our car. The man at reception was really really helpful and kind to us. It would have been nice to have some tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also would have been good to have a bar on the top floor to take advantage of the views over the city in the evening.
excellent breakfasts, omelets, fresh squeezed orange juice and cappuccinos to order and extensive selection, nice rooftop terrace. Room was huge we were upgraded but room itself needs a reno, dated and design standard lacking. The lobby is chic and free use hallway internet a bonus. The safe had a key which we needed to leave at front desk this was unacceptable. Need to upgrade safes to standard number coded style in all other hotels to ensure security. I prefer loations with more historical content but it was not really far to the major sites just more modern and commercial an area.
loation, breakfast The bed in the room (509) was very hard to get in and out of and there was no comfortable place to sit.
very basic hotel, in the end though you should expect to pay 40% more compared to elsewhere in European capitals. even london cheaper than Rome. Clean hotel, nothing special for 300 euros a night.locations is good if you're able to walk a bit staff were not too involved, even initally ignoring my reservation print out where it clearly said double room...the just gave me something else at check in. had to create a row to get my reserved room.
Great space, wonderful bathroom, mini kitchen, great breakfast!!
Location - close to St.Peters. Tourist sites easily reachable by nearby hop-on hop-off services. Good breakfast. We landed up on the weekend. Reception was rude. Never come across a situation where the person on the counter actually stops to watch TV while checking me in....Rest of the days i stayed i had no reason to complain.
Nice, large and clean room /especially bathroom/, breakfast
The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the breakfast was really good. Also the location near the Vatican and streets for shopping was great. Lacks character and charm if that is what you are looking for. We booked at the last minute and there were not many hotels available....so while not our favorite stay in Italy it certainly was the most comfortable.
Large , comfortable room helpful staff excellent breakfast None
Location and room were excellent Staff was unfriendly and arrogant
I liked our staying in the NH Giustiniano due to the great location (very calm region near the Vatican), the helpful staff and the clean modern rooms. The breakfast was also good.
The location, Prati is a really nice part of Rome
Very nice new hotel They were so new that many things were not ready for guests. there was noo wastebasket in the room, the internet was not available, signs were not up for directions.
Good location,staff very helpful
Very helpful staff. The hotel is located down the street from the main hotel. Very good for the $'s paid. Good value close to the Vatican.
The location is excellent! Our room was close to the reception, and there were some noise in the morning.
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was perfectly situated within a short walking distance of all the major sights. I would recommend it for location only. Overall it wasnt bad but I wouldnt stay here again The room is musty and dated. It was not worth the amount of money paid for it (107euro per night)
The staff were very helpful and the hotel is conveniently located for exploring Rome. Breakfast modest no fruit, powder fruit juice and breakfast room very small. Plumbing needs to be updated, beds and pillows hard.
Very friendly staff & service and good breakfast I would have wanted a room safe for valueables TV very poor - only 1 English channel with very bad reception
Most of the receptionists were extremely helpful and went beyond what we expected in service. The television never worked, and despite repeated requests, it was not replaced. The wireless did not work. The bathtub design meant the floor flooded every time we showered.
centeral to city no
Excellent location close to the Tiber and Castello Sant'Angelo. Room was kind of bare bones with no coffee/tea.
Walking distance to almost everywhere. very central/ Glad I was sleeping at the back of the building as front of building where my friend was staying was very noisy
Did not understand the concept of the "open closet" in a double room
I enjoyed the deluxe room with a terrace and the central location of this hotel I think the services and the break fast could be improved
Great location, walking distance to majority of tourist attractions & shopping areas, nice lobby Small room, unpleasant smell from the bathroom. And I still have no idea if the elevator works ;)
The staff was really helpful and kind. The breakfest was very good. We were three couples that had three different rooms. Our room was in the new part of the hotel, it was big and very nice. The location was perfect.
Location near torist centres for walking. Most things were good
I stayed @ the hotel with my husband & my 19 years old son& 10 years old daughter. The lobby&sitting area is v.stylish &safe for the kids. They liked the net facility in a quiet romantic area. The staff was nice. The rooms are clean .I was searching for a relaxing place & close to the action &the sites & i found it .Quiet &clean.I wished the rooms whre bigger & had more servises. But i liked it & i will do it again .It should be ranged as 4 stars. They should specify on the net the difference between each room in the same level because they are mixing all together.I checked a lot with the hotel to have what i want or what i saw in the web.
I got a better impression of the hotel from the website than what I was initially faced with. Hotel staff spoiled me though and showed me to a better room. Lovely staff, great location, small fairly comfortable room.
Very nice, clean, good air conditionning. Good value for money.
dinning room is lovely
The location of this hotel s perfect for anyone wanting to discover Rome by foot. Close to the Pantheon, it's quiet location on a cobbled street means it is discreetly tucked away in the heart of the city.
location staff helpfulness free computer accessability breakfast staff were very courteous and pleasant always there to assist us would definately stay there again
Very complicated to find the entrance and parking. You have to carry all laggages without help up and down. Not good maintenance. Good location. Realy expencive for that service. No lunch packet for early departures not even a coffee or tea.
Pleasant staff. The room was too dark.
Hotel is located in central Rome with easy access to the major sites of interest. Hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel has an interesting modern decor. There are lots of local restaurants to visit. No...
Everthing was great, location and the Front Desk girls were absolutely wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Lucia was fantascite. I will go back again and refer all of my friends and family.
I liked most the position of the hotel Personnel of the hotel
romanian stuff...very profesionally and nice...and of course the room ..was nice Breakfast
The position in center on the town is the only one nice issue of this Hotel The price is not right : very little rooms, old style, breakfast very poor, nothing of exclusive as reported in presentation (I stayed in the deluxe room!)
The whole layout is wonderfull! Etrance, reception zone, roof-terrace are comfortable! Rooms are clean & nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable as well. Breakfast is pretty nutritious and nicely served! I wonder what's the difference between lemon, orange and mandarine suits (located at different floors)?? The room size is smaller than we imagined looking at pictures at web-site. Still enough for sleeping & changing clothes in the room. Actually the only usefull space in the room is the bed (pretty comfortable). Besides we didn't have bath, though it was included into the decription of double deluxe room during booking. And the shower was too small for 2 persons together, well for one person it's comfortable enough.
helpful 'young at heart' staff
The location is very nice. When I booked this hotel I thought it was a nice modern hotel but it turned out to be a kind of hostel-like hotel. Breakfast was served on dirty tables and placemats and the very friendly lady was overloaded with work, so no empty tables were available. However the room was clean, but no soap, shampoo was provided.
The hotel is well located for sight seeing (Vatican and Spanish Steps 15 mins walk respectively). We had a large room with 2 bathrooms which was very nice. 1. Room faced a wall and was dark. Could hear noise from other rooms. 2. Breakfast buffet was very limited - rolls and croissants out of a bag (good coffee though!) 3.
Nice clean modern suite which was comfortable and quiet.
We had a spacious room not usually found in Rome hotels at this price. We did have the deluxe room (which is really not deluxe) but worth it for the comfort in size. The only down side is that the rooms were not equipped with the near luxury amenities I expected. While not spartan, they were not quite up to what I expected.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week. The occasion was our honeymoon. The staff is excellent and they really catered to our needs. Our suite was well furnished and comfortable. They welcomed us with a bottle of excellent champagne and fresh fruit. They served a great breakfast every morning as well. They speak excellent English and are very informed on the best places to go in Rome. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Misc. fees were unexpected... We were charged for things you shouldn't be charged for AND are not usually charged for at other hotels. Expensive, but so is all of Europe. I also think that breakfast should be free.
The room's were excellent and the staff very helpful, over all a very good experience I had reserved the room with balcony, but as we arrived they hotel the room was given out and though the room we received was great , it was not the one expected, No wireless internet service in the rooms and very expensive indeed, and finally the breakfast area and selection was very poor.
Comfort&location good location not to far from all main tourist attractions
great location (keeping in mind that you need to walk in such a large city), very helpful staff, hotel offered more amenities than other places we've stayed in Italy
Leaving Rome! It is unbelievable that an international hotel would have mostly people who did not speak acceptable English. Very difficult to communicate with some. My daughter and I arrived at the hotel about 0900 after a transatlantic flight from Atlanta, Georgia on Oct. 1-yes, I know the checkin time was 1400. We thought after waiting in the lobby until 1400 we must have been getting a great room since we had to wait so long! Wrong!! We were assigned room 202 which was very small-way too small for two adults! We were changed to a better room the next day (room 306) which was fine. The remainder of our stay was fine. The unavailability of iron/ironing board. Even the cheapest motels in the USA have these items! The lack of vending machines/ice was shocking.
Good location, friendly staff, very comfortable bed - the junior suite was great. breakfast was not very good (apart from the coffee) - we arrived late around 10 and they had run out of bread! No english TV channels (CNN is not english). Watch out if you use the mini bar to store drinksd - if you move anything they try and charge you.
lovely room, very clean. staff were very helpful, great location price of drinks in the bar! 10 euros for one glass of whiskey!!
Excelent location with view to San Pietro, beautiful terrace, very good service, nice staff
Location, staff, professional courtesies, public spaces, rooms, breakfasts, snacks and late evening, late summer drinks on their quite amazing patio. No.
The location was great, literally next to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. The breakfast was great with meat, eggs, breads, etc. The room was small, somewhat austere. The pictures show a terrace with a city view, but you couldn't really go out on it, it was gated off.
Closer to the Vatican
location of the hotel
the location, if you wanna be close to vatican this hotel is literally in vatican, very clean, service is good breakfast is nice, and the terrace with view of vatican is spectacular specially at night, it makes yo feel you are still inside of st peter square. free internet and very easy connection ia also a plus. nothing
situation, aesthetics, staff, room One night person was less helpful re internet access. Actually I think he just didn't have the right knowledge/training. Otherwise the hotel staff were absolutely excellent.
Location was great No Iron
People are very nice and do anything to accomodate you. Location of the hotel is just on San Peter Plazza. Internet is free in the room. breakfast is great. The day of our departure, it was too early for them so they prepare a breakfast in a pack for us to take-out. The taxi they selected was in advance. It was a wonderful time to stay in this hotel.
The courtyard & statues. I did not get the two single beds.
friendly,comfortable, great location no
Beautiful palazzo just outside St. Peter's Square. Elegant courtyard with candlelight in the evenings. Terrific staff: helpful with tour and restaurant reservations and especially advice regarding seeing Rome with limited time. Wonderful breakfast in the refectory. The location could not have been better for seeing Vatican and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
It was a quiet, relaxed hotel. All the staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location was good...approx. 200 yds from St. Peter's. We will stay here again. Shower was small.
location of the hotel, the staff nothing
I like the cleanliness and accessibility of the hotel, especially the room where we statyed. I wish we were provided with adapater when we requested for it.
Staff were excellent. Location was fantastic for St peters square. We particularly enjoyed our evening drink in the cloister area. Refreshingly different to the usual chain purpose built hotels. Hotel was full with a largish party in. At breakfast on one day we timed it wrong and no tables available for awhile.
Location of hotel
It was an excellent location. Despite its close proximity to the Vatican the hotel was very peaceful with a delightful courtyard seating area. The staff were very helpful. The lack of a bathtub in the bathroom.
St. Peter's Square down the avenue; lovely courtyard; all the staff was customer friendly; excellent recommendations for dinner; air conditioning was functioning in April, 2016. Room was very clean & non smoking in the hotel. Bar/cafe had decent prices on wine & lighter food items & wait staff was terrific. Rooms are very small; bathroom smaller than cruise ship with bifold doors on the shower. Breakfast was 730a; if your tour is earlier, you are out of luck & must go out to eat. Would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby. 4 star class is a stretch if you book room with 2 twin beds.
Location Charge for 1hour delay check out 30€ ! And did not call to room
The staff was incredible and the location was perfect. The walls in the hotel were very "thin" and you could hear everything in your neighbor's room.
