Rooms were beautifully decorated. Outfitted with very comfortable linens. The staff was very attentive. We are definitely staying here on our next visit to Rome
The whole atmosphere, the hotel was worth it of a 5 star hotel. Fantastic stay.
Pretty much everything was great but some small amenities wasn't available when asked for. Room didn't have iron and board. It's a 5 star hotel eveything should be available when it comas to Small amenities which are even. Available at 4 star hotels. Had to ask for toothpaste a 2nd time and then it was provided. Otherwise staff was really helpful and friendly which is very important.
Restaurant waiter Front desk Reception lady with very bad attitude Trying to use slogan (our role in eourp !!) like teaching her guest ????!!!
Why Offensive?! This hotel is excellent!!! Very friendly & proffessional staff. Each and every member of the staff, from all departments was so nice and efficient! We really enjoyed our stay there, thanks to the wonderful treatment, and also the location and facilities. The fact that we couldn't stay longer...
Beautiful hotel - true luxury experience. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well appointed rooms and facilities. Great recommendations for dinner including Girarrosto Fiorentino - do not miss.
I really enjoy hotel , room were nice Clean less the bathroom
One of the very best hotels we've ever stayed in, almost faultless
Beautiful room and appointments. Excellent air-conditioning. Breakfast too expensive
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a wonderful job on the room every day of our stay. Bar in the hotel was a little pricey however, the rest of the stay was fantastic
The very comfortable, spacey room. The expensive breakfast. We are little eaters and 16 euro for a cup of coffee and a croissant is a lot of money. Breakfast should be included.
The hotel was located in via veneto which is a high class area and near most must see attractions such as Burghese Gardens, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountains. The hotel was newly re-desined from the inside and the price was raltively lower than similar luxury hotels. My wife and I spent the first days in our honeymoon in the hotel and we liked it very much. The staff were not frinedly as they should be in this 5ive star hotel. The tourist info desk staff were not available all the time.
Good location, very good staff, good sized rooms, very safe place of Rome(opposite the hotel is an embassy of USA, so you can feel yourself safe), good restraunts all around, taxi station is near the hotel, so you just need 7-10 euros to go to any sightseeings, Trevi fountain is 7 min. of walk, Hard Rock cafe is just around the corner The breakfast could be more assorted, I think the housekeeping could put the slippers in the room, there were not
I liked the hotel itself, the service, the location and the view out of the balcony, which is absolutely fantastic, from my perspective.
I did like the position of the hotel which is rather quiet after along day in the city noise. The room was comfortable . yes ,I did expect a little bit of a 'welcome' token in the room such as one flower or a 'basket of fruits' when booking a 'superior room'.
We got upgraded to a suite, which was fabulous. Location of hotel was very good. Certainly a luxury hotel. Reception staff were okay, but they were rather arrogant and a bit slow ! Also, wanted to charge us the total price on a daily rate, rather than for our full stay !! Check your bill carefully at the hotel. Mini bar prices were outrageous and the breakfast price was very high, so we ate out.
It was clean and the staff were pleasant, wifi internet excellent. Fantastic location. Upgraded from a double deluxe to grand deluxe as it was our anniversary. It needs tea and coffee making facilites, as the room service is expensive as is the mini bar. The breakfast was very expensive and of a poor standard.
The hotel was in a very popular region, closed to many attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were nicely decorated in Italian classic style. The heating system was not working! We had two "cold" nights in the centre of Rome.
yes no coffee maker, safty book was broken and no body repair it and it was difficult for me to keep coming down ,no enough warming of the rooms and tape water wasnot hot especially during night and no replacement for the used glasses and i dont like the toilets it need tobe redesinning
I really loved the bathroom. The size, the quality of material, there was marble all over the floor and the walls. The room was also allways very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel needs some renovation, even though I like the renaissance style and by no means should this be altered. However, it's a pity that the heating did not work properly at a Westin hotel.
surounding area location fisrt they wanted to give an inside dark room, than what I had was on the top flor, with terrible wiew
The drain in the shower was obviously stopped b/c the water built up and spilled out into the floor every time we took showers.
Comfort and location Reception staff not really polite or friendly
The room was big and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Housekeeping was poor. Also, there were several steps inside and outside the hotel making it a nightmare for parents with a baby and a stroller.
Location of the hotel problem during checking, took long time.
Free room service coffee. Fantastic rooms Very friendly and helpful staff
We were upgraded to a suite just because we had mentioned in our booking that it was our wedding anniversary and were offered a bottle of champagne and strawberries upon our arrival.. For such a luxury hotel,I thought the breakfast buffet was not at par.The cleaning crew were often late and forgot to provide soaps and other cometics like gels and shampoos and shower caps.
The comfort of the bed I believe it is over-priced
The bar and lounge area was very beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, though expensive. I did not like the attitude of some of the staff at reception. The plug in the bath was not closing properly. Hot water was not always available.
The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The location was terrific in relation to many sights. Can walk to Spanish Steps & many others. Hotel is clean, beautiful & basically comfortable. I visited in December and with the heat turned up to high I wasn't able to get the room warm enough. That is my only complaint.
Excellent location for all the sights and dining locations of Rome. Also, close by to the Metro.
The friendly hotel staff and great room. The location. I wish I was a little closer to the major sights.
nothing. Vastly misdescribed and over rated everything
It was a perfect , nothing to complain.I am sure i would like to go back again. Nothing to complain!
First rate hotel with charming staff and very convenient courtesy bus to city centre Our room suffered from a little road noise, but not enough to make us request a room change
The room was great with a fantastic view of the pool. The Air conditioning was also excellent. The staff was very attenetive and friendly. I would stay at Aldrovandi Villa Borghese again and recommend it to anyone I know goint to Roma! I have nothing but praise for the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese!!
additional charge for Internet - 17.00 Euro per day - breakfast average - breakfast in the room additional charge
Good location, within beautiful park. Staff were rude and indifferent
Availibility and comptence of the front desk staff, as well as quality of food and kindness of the lobby bar staff The service of the Baby restaurant (michelin one star) does not know to smile, and is not in correspondance with the level the restaurant pretends to have. The lobby bar staff is far much more competent and skilled
The hotel had a pool which was unusual for Rome and due to the heat was very welcome. I thought the food at the hotel was very poor, including the Baby restaurant. I also thought that the rooms were very small and cluttered for such an expensive hotel.
The staff was very helpful and polite, everything was excellent
The Hotel is very well decorated and lightened. From the door the hotel stuff make you feel comfortable with a professional intimacy. The restaurant and SPA Center are both above standart. I dont know, maybe I was so happy that everything looked me marvelious. :) No.
Spa is excellent, though paying €8 for a swimming cap annoying in the extreme! Wearing it even more so. Proximity to Villa Borghese a real plus. Nothing
Room design and balcony give comfort
Quality of Accommodation Disappointed pool was closed but understand it was due to anticipated weather conditions
This is a luxury hotel in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the Vatican and a professional staff. This hotel has changed. No doorman most of the time does not make a 5 star hotel. Very coarse bed linens and flat pillows. No clock or radio in room, no candy left at turn down and no wine, Proseco or fruit upon arrival but prices are higher. No newspaper in English. This hotel seems to be fading out of favor by raising prices and reducing costs by eliminating the personal touches that were so prominent previously. We have referred many American travelers over the years to this hotel but no longer feel it is the special place that it once was.
We stayed in a deluxe room and we loved it. The wi-fi should be free, but we already knew it wasn't...
quiet location, comfortable reception area, bedroom satisfactory, staff mostly helpful. poor breakfast, not 5 star.Had changed booking dates, with cheaper rate for new dates-hotel attempted to charge more expensive rate.Overall felt overpriced for facilities, perhaps better during summer months when pool and gardens open.
large, comfortable and very clean room, lovely linnens, friendly staff
We chose Parco die Principi primarily for the location, which is right next to Borghese Park and close to some other principal sights in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc., which were by the way mobbed, even in October.) The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very luxurious. We did not use any of the facilities. For such a high-end hotel, we thought breakfast was very sparse, poor selections, nothing you wouldn't see at a hotel half the price. We were also not happy with the concierge service; they could not offer any advice on tours other than a single company, and were no help at all in arranging transportation to Civitavecchia, which I finally arranged on my own.
Beautiful hotel with outdoor pool Too far removed from most sightseeing areas. Will need to take Taxi or walk far to reach city center
The pool is a great feature of the hotel. Without it the hotel would sink a bit in esteem. The roadside balconies, the construction that was ongoing.
Very Convenient for the majority of the major sights Suprised that one had to search out a taxi from the hotel rather than have the staff call one.
everything was very good nothing that i did not like
Good hotel, very nice and friendly staff - especially for kids
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Uncomfortable beds, very hard.
location a little dated
The room was clean and a good size. The bar and restaurant closed at 11pm which is far to early
The friendliness of the staff & the roof bar. Unfortunately the early morning noise from the traffic below.
location is good, the rooms are comfortably large
Location was too far from major attractions
I liked the design of the rooms and the hotel style. relatively near to the centre with the bus you need 2 to 4 stations with the bus. The toilet is big and the room is nice having a balcony. Breakfast is very basic even for continental and no fruits and fresh juices. Room door is very thin and you can always hear what ever happening outside. Door key is very big and massive to hold in your pocket, and gets busy when alot of people are coming to collect their keys, they should change to the smart card system. Internet is relatively expensive (10 Euro for 6 hours from your own laptop). Telephone international calls are exaggerated from the hotel (45 minutes costed around 100 Euro).
The breakfast staff were excellent, they made the breakfast really special! Breakfast was great (some brown brad would be nice). In a good area, clean, well equipped hotel. We had a good time here, but had some smaller thing to notice.... ...We booked a room with Wifi internet, but it was not available in the room (uselessly weak sign). The water pressure could be stronger, and the water changes the tepmerature quite often (from cold to hot). The mattress was not the best (overused - not flat everíwhere) but we could sleep.
Our stay at the Hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was to our satisfaction. It is just under 2 miles from the City centre in a lovely area and close to bus and tram. Would stay there again and reccommend it highly.
The design, the staff was very helpfull, location ok. The breakfast.
style and cleanness parking place free, but not acceptable, awfully difficult to enter and exit! It is easy to damage the car
peacefull and relaxing happy rooms, hot water ,safe garage ,gentle people at the restaurant dinner service specially when you have children and it's christmass eve and no restaurant is open in Rome
Good rooms, and good bathrooms. Everything clean and good breakfast. And they have internet avaiable
The size and confort of the room. We appreciated the cleanliness, and we loved the attitude and service of all the staff. There was nothing we didn't like.
Quiet, relaxed, good breakfast. Good connections traveling by bus to centre Rome No
the cleaning and the ligting in the room far distent from attractioin
The staff were so helpful, the room was beautiful & it was a perfect location for sight-seeing the amazing city of Rome.
Excellent location near Villa Borghese and Via Veneto, many fine restaurants nearby, only a 10-euro taxi ride from Roma Termini. Very friendly staff.
service was excellent staff very helpful highley recomend this hotel
Air conditioning in the rooms No swimming pool facilities. Staff had very little english
Room and service was good in the hotel. There is no satelite TV.No eggs in the breakfast.Location poor for spanish steps and metro station.
location, friendliness of staff, reliable and fast internet access breakfast: addition of whole grain bread, eggs ect - too much sweet fare
cleanliness,qiet area of the hotel
The room was fantastic. Large bathroom with a bath tub, which I really appreciated and is unusual for Europe. nice view of the street. Nice breakfast buffet. We really liked the location, although it was a bit outside the heart of Rome. A nice neighborhood feel. Nice local restaurants. The nearest metro stop was a bit of a walk.
Large room They will try to book you into their friends restaurant and order you an overpriced cab that suspiciously looks like a man in a van. Be wary of the staff. They are very unhelpful unless you agree to lining the pockets of their friends.
The hotel staff was very kind and Breakfast did not match up with the rest of the services offered and the price was too high for what it offers. Additionally all rooms were covered with fitted carpeting which is not good for people with asthma.
Friendly atmosphere I appreciate an elevator that doesn't talk!
Very well-located, clean & well-kept. Overall, decent value for money. The staff were not informative and did not seem to have basic info (regarding nearby bus/metro options).
Location is great. Breakfast and staff were very good. 7 minutes away from the hop on hop off bus stop. No close vendors nearby. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the closest one. Which was fine. When you enter the hotel from the street you need to take the stairs to the receiption. There is an elevator but not directly in front of you.
A/C horrible. Poor after hour meal service !!! Access to hotel lobby somewhat complicated due to structural design
we really liked the design of the hotel and the rooms, the fact that it was all allergy free and that there is paeking, even though it's entrance is very bad. the cleanliness was horrible, and the staff was very unpleasent and unfriendly. the entrance is not very practical specially if you have luggage, you have to wait in the street for the concierge to come and help you.
Attractive degian hotel, but location is not convinient wi-fi service is free, but desk-top services are not free. And some people of reception desk is not kind.
The hotel accomodations were wonderful.Breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean. The staff was so-so. There were times I felt as though I was an inconvenience to them.
I liked the room design. I liked the inclusion of the breakfast in the fee of the stay. The breakfast was good. The business center was cold. The air conditioning was too strong. The computer did't work.I had to to do my check in online and there was no alternative. Only a "sorry"..... I didn't like, according to the fee I payed for the room and staying 4 days, that I to pay the internet access. You could simply restrict the access for 15 min, so people don´t occupy the only computer for hours, but no need to be payable!
The hotel has new modern style. Liked more the bathroom which is the best compare to other Rome hotel. Very cheap wifi (10 euro for 24 hours). You have to bring with you cotton for your eras if you wanna sleep during a day!!!! The hotel located in very nosy main street & some room there's no cafee maker!!!
Great Breakfast, and the room was very comfortable Internet was not free.
The hotel was modern in design. The location wasn't really close to any of the Rome sites and a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro. The internet access was only in the lobby and for 30 minutes. It would be more convenient in the room and for a longer period of time.
Rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. Staff was helpful and airport transportation was easily arranged. As of now, there is an overcharge of more than $800 which we are trying to get corrected. My answer to the next question depends on whether this gets corrected.
Great location, nice breakfast menu, free wifi and parking. Friendly staff. Nice decor. Bed linen not changed everyday or at least every other day and thin bath towels that smelled of vinegar. Also bed was not very comfortable....seems to be a common thing in Italian hotels though.
Very pleasant, but the hotel does not deserve its 5 stars. Facilities are very poor and there were no English or any other language TV channels Quite, relaxed atmosphere.
Hotel was beautiful, staff were very helpful!
Perfect location, perfect interior, perfect rooms. Only thing - the restorant serves only breakfast and closed for other time.
The super receptionist woman is quite helpful. She could share almost info we need in good English oral. Also, she recommended some restaurants, which gave us lots of perfect dinner experience. In addition, the decoration is also quite pretty and comfortable. And this hotel is not difficault to find via metro or bus, and the surrounding is also quiet. Perfect!!! The bath place is not of good design. Easy to make water on the ground in the rest room.
The friendliness of the staff (esp. Miss Magdalena at the reception) and their helpful advice in everything we asked, from dinner to transportation.
The service we received was amazing! The ladies at the front desk, Magdalena and Sandrin were very helpful making reservations for dinner and city guides, giving detailed directions on maps to get us there. I would definitely return and recommend. Also, the breakfast that is included is great, I don't know why anyone wouldn't like. There is something for everyone. None at this time!
A four floor pretty villa at a prestigious location about 20 minutes walking distance from the Spanish stairs, almost next to the Borghese gardens could justify the present quality of services by claiming that it is enjoying an extended soft opening after a year and a half. Significant room for improvement, after which it can rightfully claim higher rates. Room furnishing does not do service to the building, nor the location. Not even a chair in the room, bed linen, towels, etc. should of higher quality. Seriously understaffed, no kitchen lacking event snack services. Only 23 rooms may justify this. Good restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood.
great buffet breakfast - small but well appointed room - helpful staff - nearby restaurants excellent no
I spent 3 days at Villa Pinciana and everything was ok - The position is crucial, very close to Via Veneto, the beautiful Villa Borghese and the centre of the City. The stuff was friendly and very helpful especially Mr.Alessandro and Stefano. I heartily recommend this hotel
Domus RomAntica is very modern and well kept in a quitter uper class neighborhood neighborhood in Rome - the breakfast (included) was from a really nice Coffee Shop a couple blocks away that is very good and was a nice surprise! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
People working here are awesome. The love that they put in arranging your room when you come back. I left big cash money by mistake. Every single penny was there in an envelope! Great. Nothing
The staff was very efficient and friendly; outside the city center but it was nice to be away from the crowds; great little shops around; breakfast which was included was great and the even provided a to go breakfast when we left at 4:00 am
it was a comfortable hotel ,warm and quiet ,good value for money
Although not central and main tourist attractions were a good walk away, it was a quiet area and there were a nice choice of restaurants nearby for evening meals.
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was fresh No
kindness of staff and spacious room they are not ecology aware, they are changing towels, soaps ... even when used only once
My room was very comfortable, well appointed and fast WiFi ! The desk mangers were professional, friendly and helpful! I will return on my next visit.
The double room was extremely small, the smallest ever seen. It made our staying there totally uncomfortable. it was also a bit smelly and the cleanliness was not acceptable. The bathroom is for sure not appropriate for a 3 star hotel!! The breakfast service was poor and could not handle with the crouded small breakfast room, and the food was nothing special. The staff was not always friendly enough.
easy going staff, no room service the only incovinient
Clean room/bathroom ,very good beds, good staff, good breakfast buffet.Location not really in centre but buses to everywhere around the corner in 10-15min to colesseum .Taxi to hotspots between 8 and 10 euro.Around hotel also nice restaurants (tip: restaurant Orlando) coffee with the breakfast (but the buffet is above italian standard)
great room,great breakfast,no complaints
Convenient location. Decor in the hotel could be upgraded.
Fantastic, close to the centre of Rome and with a swimming pool, within a lovely setting which is very much required in Rome in August. Lovely and quiet and near a park. An apartment with a full kitchen facility was great for if we were too tired to eat out. Service excellent staff could not do enough to help. Very pleased with our choice and would recommend to all.
Spacious rooms in an imposing building. Excellent, friendly service and good breakfast. Some idstance from shops and restaurants, although that can be planned around
the swimming pool, the quality and the kindness of the staff, the cleaness of the room. No
Room size, kitchen and tv Cleaning products not provided for kitchen
Great place to stay ; great location, near everything in Rome but also far enough away from the tourist crowds. Very quiet and close to Villa Borghese park. Walking distance to major attractions and good public transit access to everything else no grocery store near by;
This hotel was excellent, and I can recommend it to people who want to visit Roma, and at the same time enjoy to retract and relax after a busy day. The people working in the hotel is outstanding and are always looking to do the best for you. We will stay at this hotel during our nexts visits to Rome. Everything was perfect
Excellent location. Excellent facilities They need to provide for food and beverage faciltiy. A restaurant is mandatory at least for breakfast
i liked that the room was big and clean, and that the bed was comfortable. realy poor hotel staff, with poor english and attitude. no sport facilities (no gym)
Beautiful Hotel just on the outskirts of Central Rome, 15-20mins by tram/bus into centre, lovely quiet residencial area with pool. Great to come back to after a day sightseeing and just chilling out by the pool. Bus stops in front of hotel, and good night bus conection. Great mini kitchen and supermarket nearby, so you can cook your own food. Great Hotel if you are going to spend time in Rome, not so cool if it is only for a weekend as you would want to be closer to the centre, at least walking distance!! It is a shame there are no more places to eat or have a coffee closer to the hotel.
The location is perfect, the building is stylish, fresh air from the park, away from hectic rome, the room is beautiful, kithchenette is well- thought, the staff always friendly and ready-to-help, clean and no smells inside Guaranteed noise from the trams on the street in the early mornings, sometimes strong smells from the nearby zoo, no carabinery in the park at the evening and/or night (when you return from the city), sophisticated method of cold/hot water regulation in the bath
very nice, good location, excellent breakfast although they should reduce the charge for children gym and pool were closed
Just the most perfect location to see Rome . The hotel was superb and staff faultless . The best short break ever. The pool & sauna were great after a long day walking.
It was a beautiful, immaculate hotel decorated with modern Italian design combined in an old world elegance. Loved the marble bathroom and the large bottles of sparkling water provided daily in our hotel room. No breakfast included. The staff at the desk was helpful when asked a specific question, but not friendly and gave only minimum answer. Wish they had given us a subway map to get around...they acted like we should take expensive taxi cabs everywhere, and seemed surprised we wanted to take the subway to help get to Forum, other side of Rome, or train to airport.
Great location, excellent room & services, very friendly & helpful staff
The reception desk was very welcoming and helpful, particularly when we first arrived. Gave us very useful tips on what to do or not to do in Italy and overview of where to eat, shop and look around in the city, and the walking routes to take to each of those places.
They provided me with a better pillow than what was on the bed when asked. Provided bathrobes. The bedding was old and tired. They had a minimal breakfast that was expensive 15 Euro when for the past 2 weeks other hotels we stayed in included the breakfast.
We got an upgrade to an excellent room. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with our Italian. Barbara was especially nice and made our reservation at the Borgese gallery. Everything was excellent and the staff could not have been better. no,
Staff were friendly and very helpful
The hotel is very good. Big room, good shower. Nothing.
The quality of the rooms and bathrooms were surprisingly good also the location is excellent for getting about and a good starting point for sightseeing and evenings. Nothing - all exceeded expectations
Large rooms, high ceilings, good bathroom, breakfasts enjoyable, handy lifts (we're old). dinner excellent - glad I took old colleague's advice.
Good room, friendly people. Restaurant has a small but decent selection of wine at good prices Our dish of the day was poor (very tired fish indeed), but the waiter offered a free dessert as compensation (which was good).
For three persons, the room is spacious and arranged according to our request prior to our arrival, we are very pleased. The restaurant in the hotel, it's a nice restaurant but too formal. We prefer a family-orientated restuarnat.
I was ideally situated. There were no Tea or Coffee facilities available in the room
Very large room Front desk staff not helpful at all; room decor outdated
Location Small Rooms
The location was good. The Via Veneto area of town was very nice and close to good eating and shopping. very old decor in the rooms, very hard mattress, was rated as 4 star but definitely not 4 star worthy
Greeting by the afternoon manager was superb. Breakfast was great. The TV did not work. Not in our room. Not in any rooms. I needed to be kept up with world news and this wasn't possible. And apparently, nothing could be done about it
The staff where very helpful did not have any tea or coffee in room, did not think it was fair for me to order room service just for a cup of coffee when i wanted
The huge room and bed! Nice decor, and a fantastic view. Friendly staff. We did not find the room noisy at all. Bed was very comfortable and water pressure in the bath excellent. Fresh fruit juice at breakfast would be nice, as well as robes and slippers in the room. Front desk had very noisy phones. Real toilet paper instead of "little napkins" would be a bonus. The limo recommended by the hotel to take us to the airport did not have air conditioning, and could have been cleaner.
The room was clean and certainly adequate. Bathroom had been updated. The breakfast was very adequate offering the same items as at every hotel we stayed at in Italy and the breakfast room was attractive. I had believed this hotel would have a view of the gardens and that it fronted on them. Instead, there was a portion of the ancient wall and apartments in front of the hotel blocking any possible view. Also, I didn't feel it was conveniently located for what we wanted to see. The furnishings in the room were dated.
Staff was very nice and welcoming. Large and convenient room. The hotel is clean, not in the center yet conveniently located and pleasant all around. Nice breakfast. Good value for the price. Not in the center.
