Pros: This hotel located in very convenient location , there are many resturants around, and 6 minutes walking distance there is a trade Joe Market. The room is big. We all like it.
Cons: I wish there were cookware in the room, since there is kitchen in the room.
Pros: Everything was great.
Pros: Staff was helpful.
Cons: Very little parking. Small, crowded, rough and noisy pool area. Room was clean but nothing else to say about it.
Pros: The breakfast was really delicious ! It was a nice hot breakfast bar, variety of things! The staff was reall nice.
Cons: The room could be cleaner. The kitchen floor was sticky like it wasn't mopped. When you walked in there was a strong room freshner smell to mask other smells.
Pros: The hotel was close to many restaurants, within walking distance. The full kitchen was a plus but felt cramped with the desk so close. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly.
Cons: While at the pool my kids needed to use a pool tool to retrieve a ball in the pool. My two daughters both got fiberglass all over their hands from the stick/handle. It was awful. I told the employee at the front desk what happened. She didn't seem to care
Pros: Staff could not have been more helpful.
Cons: Rooms need updating, but very clean.

Pros: We had a warm welcome at this hotel, friendly staff, the breakfast was really good compared to others we've been. It's not expensive and worth every dollar. I really recommend!
Pros: The location is very convenient. Room is clean and has a microwave. The pool is good.
Cons: If your skin is very sensitive then stay away. My baby's skin became red and he scratched all night
Pros: Chan, friendly, and accommodating. And a great breakfast to boot.
Pros: Better value than the Westin in Pasadena where we usually stay. Will make the Hampton Inn in Arcadia our go to hotel when we are visiting family in the area.
Pros: Bed was comfortable and clean.
Cons: I've stayed at many Hampton Inns all across the USA. This one is the worst of the bunch. Staff not friendly .... not once did I see any employee smile. Nobody at front desk for check-in at 630pm, had to wait 4-5 minutes for desk person to arrive. Room was pretty worn-out and dirty, especially the carpet. "Complementary" Wi-Fi was incredibly slow; wanted to download a movie for my flight the following day, took ALL NIGHT to download 30% of the film. Staff would not deliver room receipts under door as with 99% of all other hotels, had to checkout at front desk, desk attendant appeared upset that I was bothering him for my receipt! Breakfast tasted like plastic.. Paid $169 for this quality experience, color me ripped off.
Pros: Forgot a backpack full of clothes r here, even though I didn't get a call from the hotel (even though the staff must have found it and I could have come back for it) when I did call and inquire they said they had found it and will courier it back. Other than that comfortable stay, good breakfast, though the room we had - 413 was small.
Pros: Nice clean property, free parking, free wi-fi , good breakfast and not too far from Los Angeles universal studios
Cons: After 9:00 pm almost everything is closed only restaurant open was a place called BJ's food was pretty good with a good selection
Pros: Good service at desk; very clean rooms; location was convenient-easy access to major highways; great variety of shops in the area.
Cons: The location of the room first floor by the elevator. You heard all the noise. The toilet made a loud noise when used or it run. Told the staff,.,
Pros: Love Hampton inn always nice
Pros: Cleanliness and accessibility to resturants, walking distance
Cons: Lack of electrical outlets in room and inconsistent location of available outlets

Pros: Pool was open even with rain and had warm enough water to swim outdoors in 60 degrees weather.
Pros: Nice rooms.
Cons: The web site for the hotel under amenities said free breakfast. We did not get ffree breakfest. Even when I pointed out to the staff and showed Them. They said it was because I booked through a different web site. But under amenities listed is pool workout room and I was allowed to use those amenities. Free breakfast is always a consideration when I book hotels. So I was bummed. Started my day off bad.
Pros: Good food close by
Cons: A little far from beaches
Pros: Centrally located, friendly staff, knowledgeable people, and rooms were spacious.
Pros: If you are in Monterey park for Chinese food, you can't beat staying here.
Cons: Renovation starts at 9am

Pros: The location is great. It's very close to freeway and downtown LA. Room is clean, the hotel is not old. It's worth the money to stay.
Cons: Housekeeping kept coming to check on us before we checked out. Maybe the housekeepers don't have daily update room vacancy list.
Pros: Great location, near Downtown LA, close to 10 free way view of the
Near Quiet Canyon Golf Course
Cons: They are updating the hotel.
Noise from rooms above are annoying. Need to insulate floors and walls.
Pros: I liked the looks of the lobby and location in relation to my trip needs.
Cons: No brakefast included. Booked a "queen" bed and only two full size beds in one room was what I received without extra accommodation when I expressed disatisfaction.
Cons: My room was next to elevator, so very noisy. Otherwise, no complaints.

Pros: Beautiful location and rooms and friendly staff. Nice and quiet. Great value for the money.
Cons: More clear communication about availability of Inn Keeper.
Pros: Price. Clean.
Cons: Room had a peculiar smell. Bathroom needed some kind of valet.
At Arroyo Vista Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Norton Simon Museum and Dodger Stadium. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast available daily. Rooms at this upscale bed & breakfast offer up nice touches like iPod docks and bathrobes, along with flat-screen TVs and free wired Internet.
Pros: The overall appearance was nice, same for the staff. But, when the neighbor in the adjoining room got very sick and I wanted to leave the management became impossible to work with.
Cons: The management didn't have a comparable room to offer me when the person in the adjoining room got sick and was constantly coughing up stuff all night. I asked to check out and they wanted to bill me one night extra as a penalty for leaving before the end of my reservation. I had to fight with them for over an hour before they let it go. Suggest paying by night only.
Pros: Breakfast was nice. I everybody used it. The bed was also comfortable
Cons: Had trouble draining the water in the tub and couldn't control the AC
Pros: The workout room was clean and open 24 hours for use by the guests.

Pros: Atmosphere is great. The pool was nice, indoors. The included breakfast buffet was very good too. Very nice pond in the center lobby and lots of green plants. The Bloody Marys were excellent!!!!
Cons: We had scorching hot water intervals in our shower. We were scared for our children. We didn't change rooms because we were so tired and figured we would just be extra careful. It would have been nice if the staff would have given us something for the dangerous situation we were in. The first to shower was our 9 year old and he had to jump out!!!
Pros: The location is great for us. We visit Los Angeles often and like to have a last night on the far northeast side of town so our drive back to Las Vegas is shorter. The breakfast was good. The rooms clean and comfortable.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was beyond pathetic. I don't know why, because the pressure in the sinks was fine. Also, there were not enough people working the breakfast. We asked for a straw for the baby, waited ten minutes and then had to hunt down someone else and ask again. It took awhile.
Pros: The free cook to order breakfast, evening reception, parking, and wifi... and, the friendly staff. Everyone looked like they enjoyed working there, very efficient and helpful. Comfortable accommodations.
Cons: The accommodations were roomy, but it may be time for an update to the bathrooms. Our room didn't get cleaned when we stayed multiple days. Perhaps it was because we left our room late, but other hotels usually checked in with us just to make sure.
Pros: Big room, free vending machine, free breakfast.
Pros: Ashley at the front desk was so great, also, Diane, the bartender during happy hour, always knows remembers our group and takes great care of us.. we had the shuttle driver Candy drive us to my parent's house and pick up up, and he was very nice
Cons: I slept on the pullout couch and it was awful

Pros: Staff was nice. Location was good to getting to good restaurants.
Cons: Room should have been cleaner. I went to give my baby a bath and there was hair all over the tub. I also kept finding hair that was not ours on the counters, desks and on the bed. We were pretty grossed out by it.
Pros: Close to where my family lives. Mostly clean except for the smelly hallway carpet. Some staff were great and some were ok. Nice accomodations
Cons: #1Upon arrival when we went up to the floor of our room the hallway had a strong damp smell, similar to body odor, probably from the carpet. We almost returned to the front desk for a refund but once we got into out room we did not smell it.
#2 After a couple of days I realized that my back pain which made it uncomfortable to sleep through the night was caused by the bed which had comfort controls that were not working. Upon realizing this I requested the bed to be repaired that morning. When I returned at the end of the day I discovered it had not been repaired. They did give me that night without charge but i did experience a poor week of sleep.
#3 I was surprised that with the price that we got the room for breakfast was not included.
Pros: Will not stay there again

Pros: stayed there 3 times already, nice staff, very clean room and spacious
Cons: It is used as residential living and their tenants were questionable. There was trash left in the hallways. There was roaches in the bathroom. No clear direction on how to get to the second floor. Their idea of a dinning area had folding metal chairs and plastic tables. Not worth staying there again.
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There's plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and it's located near two major freeways. They do offer free wifi, but that is something that I expect at all hotels these days, so I don't really consider it a plus. The connection seemed to run fine with the little that I used my phone during my short stay.
Cons: I was very disappointed with the hotel seeing that they do not offer what you pay for. I called an hour before arriving to confirm my reservation and the man who answered was not very professional. I was about to hang up thinking I dialed the wrong number when he answered with a rude "Hello". When I arrived, the lady at the desk was not welcoming at all. She didn't even want to let me check in early, even though I had gotten the okay to do so (with an extra $20 fee) from the man over the phone. I never got a smile or thank you from that lady. Even though there was an obvious language barrier, a smile or nod would have been enough. They still have not upgraded their check in system. I was required to pay a $30 deposit - cash only! - and was given a regular key (not the swiping, more secure credit card types). Once I got to my floor, I had to take a guess at what room was mine since the room number was missing from the door. The room itself is terribly outdated and dirty in appearance. The carpet had many stains, including a large bleach stain (who knows what spilled there..), and the blanket felt grimy. I didn't even bother lifting up the sheets. I laid on some of my extra clothes instead. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but still was outdated with rusty faucets. Looks like nothing has been done to it since it was built in the 70s. Worst of all was the non-functioning air conditioning unit. It turned on just fine, but it never gave me the cool air I set it for. Even after giving it a chance to kick in, the air still came out too warm. Although it did help with some circulation, especially since it was quite humid that day, the vents were stuck pointing up to the ceiling. I had to move the round wooden table directly over the vents in order for it to force some of the air downwards. That was the only way I felt any relief. It didn't feel like the hotel's management would be responsive if I complained or asked for a different room, so I didn't bother. I checked out after only four hours of being there.
Had I paid $50 or less dollars for the room, I may have expected to see what I saw. But for $84 a night, much more is expected. I've stayed in hotels in Pasadena, just 5-10 minutes to the north for about the same price, and received much better service and better quality rooms.
Pros: Staff seemed to want to take care of problem .
Cons: My bed had a bunch of what looked like dead skin from someone's feet/head. There was a dead ant and hair in the other. Pillows had dried blood spots (alá bed bug). It was a horrible experience. Neck and neck with the worst place I've stayed at save front desk.
When you stay at Alhambra Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of California State University-Los Angeles and Norton Simon Museum. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast available daily. Nice touches like premium bedding and slippers are offered up in all rooms, along with flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: For a quick trip this hotel was perfect, the rooms, staff in general everything.
Cons: The food at the hotel wasn't that good.
Cons: Loud doors slamming all through the night. It was just liyd period. Had to buy ear plugs just to sleep.
Pros: Great value. Clean hotel. Better price than the Westin or the Hilton and you get the same thing. Plus more.
Cons: Couldn't check in until 4pm.
Pros: Staff was helpful and nice, room was clean, and plenty of parking.
Cons: The bathtub was peeling, the towel rack was about to fall off, and bad sound insulation, you can hear everything outside your room and overhead.
Pros: Location, comfort, breakfast quality and value for money
Cons: Front desk was not too accommodating to change king bed to 2 beds
Pros: Hotel had a great breakfast and comfortable beds
Cons: There was ants in the bathroom being on the second floor
Pros: Walking out the door for the last time and greatly relieved that I would never be going back.
Cons: The place stinks-icky-sicky carpet deodorizer smell. The room was unclean, the bathtub wouldn't drain, the air conditioner didn't work well and the bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. The staff moved us to another room that was better, but had clean issues as well. Definitely never again on this hotel!
Pros: just other hotel, room was clean, bath was ok
Pros: We stayed at second floor. But we were annoyed most of the time by the squeaky floor above us when someone was walking up there. Plus the next room's toilet was leaking which constantly made noises the night we were there. Another unfortunate thing was the AC system in our was broken. The receptionist told us to unplug the cord and reset the unit. However, we were never able to fix it. After all it was not that bad. At least, the breakfast got our thumbs up.
Pros: The cleanliness of the room, the friendly staff / front desk, maids, kitchen helpers. The location and the price rate. Breakfast schedule is pretty good and so is the check out time.
Cons: Breakfast. If served more varieties of hot breakfast, it would be good. The bed is not firm enough (bouncy). No jacuzzi / pool.

Cons: They don't provide any breakfast besides coffee.
Pros: The space was much more modern, comfortable, and cleaner than I anticipated. I felt comfortable walking on the wood laminate floor barefoot. The bathroom was well designed to minimize the number of nooks and crannies where grossness can hide. I paid $2.99/day for wireless internet and it worked great--better than the service I got for free at a fancy boutique hotel last month in a major city.
Cons: Would have liked an elevator for getting to the second of two floors. Also would've liked a mini refrigerator to store leftovers.
Pros: Clean, cheap, friendly staff, and good location.
Cons: Standard uncomfortable bed.
Pros: Price and location - great location
Cons: No elevator to access second floor, special request needed for ground floor if you have any disability
"No Frills" Sleeping quarters only
Motel 6 Los Angeles - Arcadia/Pasadena Area is located off I-210 in beautiful Arcadia. Enjoy our outdoor pool, open all year. Our modern rooms include a 32 inch LCD TV with extended cable, HBO and ESPN. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms for a fee.
Pros: Clean hotel room with updated bathroom including Japanese style toilet features.
Clean linens were provided daily when the room was cleaned along with complimentary bottled water. The room had a new clean refrig. and electric hot water kettle along with china tea cups with lids. Tea bags and coffee was available all hours in the lobby. There is a breakfast room and a variety of Chinese breakfast items along with American cereals, waffle and toast.
Cons: The staff does not speak English although they were very polite and eager to assist as best they could. This could be a problem in the event of emergency.
The establishment is Chinese operated catering to Chinese travelers. The neighborhood is Little Taiwan but there are a variety of types of inexpensive eating establishments within walking distance.
Pros: Location is good walking distance to different type of restaurants theater is round the corner quiet as well
Pros: It was in a nice area. Close to restaurants and wine bar.
It was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was little selection but good enough.
Pros: The room was big and clean and the bed was very comfortable!
Cons: Not a lot of parking, though the front desk staff will give you an overnight pass to park on the street if you ask. Elevator was a little rickety and we couldn't find the stairs.
Pros: Pretty clean, pleased the room included a microwave, refrigerator and hair dryer. Staff were very polite. Location was very good, close to a Starbucks and some restaurants.
Cons: Checked in after 6 pm and my door key card didn't work and the technician wouldn't be available till the next morning. I wasn't offered another room and was told to just ask the front desk clerk to be let in, quite inconvenient. The next day, the door was fine. Though a non-smoking room, it had a funny smell. Parking was frustrating, only about 18 spaces for more than 25 rooms. Was told that if there was no available space, I would have to park overnight on the street.
Cons: NOISY MOTEL

Cons: Hotel is facing a busy street, quite noisy. Bedding and quilt are not comfortable. Basically it is an ok stay for cheap price.
Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: Hotel needs a good overhaul as far as maintenance. I brought to their attention several things that should have been caught by cleaning staff and or scheduled maintenance review.
Pros: Everything is great! piecefull & quiet, the service is great, everybody working here is friendly & helpful to all needs. Everyone in the front desk clerk, the manager & room service is amazing! how polite & quite the girls are when cleanin

Pros: Suite style room with balcony. View overlooking some sort of large garden or farm like land smack in the middle of LA.
Cons: No business center.
Pros: First morning toilet wouldn't flush and was forced to move rooms at 5:30am in the morning. Staff provided no assistance. Restaurant closed at 2pm each day, only room service with 18% tip requirement. None of the vending machines had drinks or snacks. No offer of credit for for being put out.
The Ramada South El Monte is located between City of Los Angeles and City of Industry in San Gabriel Valley on the 60 freeway, West of 605 freeway. Beautiful Mediterranean style construction with courtyard, Koi Pond. 12 miles from the Staple Center, Los Angeles Convention Center, Sport Arena, Los Angeles Coliseum. Rose Bowl in the Heart of San Gabriel Valley. East of Monterey Park, West of Hacienda Heights, South of Arcadia, North of Cerritos all equal distance.
Pros: The owner was so sweet. She let us check in early when her employee said there was no room available.
Cons: Fridge, where the continental breakfast was pulled from, is outside and underneath the stairs, not a place for a fridge. Who knows the expiration date and temperature of the food. The place was more like a motel 6. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The comforter was stained. Don't plan on sleeping because it was so loud the whole night. I felt nervous about our neighbors upstairs because I thought they were going to come through the roof.
Pros: The price
It was close to the East LA Collage
helpful clerk. nice cleaners
Cons: The soap and shampoo didn't lather and the fridge was noisey
