After 7 AM no complimentary coffee. $14 for a roll, donut, coffee, cold cereal, some canned mixed fruit, or a green banana. Come On! Comfort Inn's give you a better breakfast than that for free! It's no wonder no one was eating breakfast in the restaurant. Even the staff shrugged their shoulders and shook their heads. They suggested a great little place for breakfast just a short walk away.
Great location, very nice hotel facilities and resort services Quality of bath towels poor, similar to ones that are used at a fitness club (thin, smells like bleach and washed over and over again type of towels). Shower water pressure weak.
A little removed from the main Sedona, but close enough for activities.
Was surprised to find this placed doubled as a kennel.....the barking and howling of the dogs was a big nuisance. It was handled after 3 calls to the front desk...was not told of this when we checked in...
So many things if this hotel is a 2 or 3 stars. When we arrived to checking in, no Welcome, just "last name on the reservation"... rude... The second day, our room was not clean. Their answer was "room are clean every two days"... So they sent a cleaning lady...We asked why we have a cheap room for disable people, not convenient for people who are not disable, they said "you reserved from a Third party", like those website company, so they treat us like a Third class people with disdain
The staff and concierge were very helpful. Concierge booked a wine tour for us on Saturday. We stayed in a suite poolside, and enjoyed the view and sound of water flowing. The two free drink coupons on arrival was a great gesture. The bartender struggled with the pace of handling customers, failing to acknowledge new guests on arrival or making eye contact and a simple "I will be right with you". Timeliness and order, such as maybe offering a food or appetizer menu. We asked for a menu after 30 minutes of sitting down, at the bar. We actually made light of our situation along with other customers, saying they're definitely on a "Sedona" pace. We didn't come to Sedona to hurry, however, we were hungry and there are some expectations of The Hilton having higher standards of customer service. Very nice people, again, but way too slow. We also watched multiple people, new guests stand and wait 10 minutes without being addressed. I greeted guests myself, along with my boyfriend. The restaurant was fairly steady, due to rain, however, definitely not busy.
Great location and staff. Rooms were great Complicated to get on Internet and the Internet service was unreliable and when it did work was slow
Staff, amenities, spa, and view were all five stars. Hilton Bell Rock definitely will get my business again. I wished I could have stayed longer ;)
Friendly front desk and maid service. The rooms were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Well stocked kitchenette. Room service only once a week which I actually liked. Nice pools. Beautiful location. I would recommend it to anyone. Beware of the concierge desk in the lobby. They will try to rope you into a timeshare presentation. I really wish the Kayak description would have mentioned the hotel was actually a timeshare. Story time. My girlfriend and I had just driven across the country from PA and just wanted to get to our room. Check in was great and easy with the front desk. On the way out, however, we got trapped by some "friendly" guy named Doug or something behind the concierge desk. He started off by saying "you are going to be glad to see me". Let me tell you, after driving 36 hours, I wasn't. He proceeds to give us coffee and other goodies and showed us a map of the town. All this was fine. He then inquired on what we were planning on doing while in Sedona. I was exhausted and didn't feel like indulging my plans to a stranger and just said "Idk, hiking and stuff." He took this as we didn't have anything planned so he started telling us he was going to gift us a "free" jeep ride. All we needed to do was go to a "90 minute" presentation. It isn't a gift if I need to do something for it. He then started trying to book me a time to go to the timeshare presentation without asking me if I was even interested in going. I flatly told him I wasn't interested in going to a timeshare presentation and I would never be interested. Boy did his friendly persona change. He defensively said "Well you told me you didn't have anything planned" and tryed to make me out to be the d**k. Then when I apologized for not wanting to go to a timeshare presentation he smugly said "Well you do know this is a timeshare hotel, right?" I said no, Kayak did not tell me it was and he just smirked and said have a great day. My sour interaction with him put me in a huge funk for the first couple of days. If you can try to avoid the concierge desk do it.
Location Checkout time Incompetence oof checkin and out staff.
Really nice facilities. The room was very nice, location was excellent, price was excellent.
They wouldn't give me the room I paid for because my charge card for the deposit on the room didn't work. I had to go next door and pay for another room and guess what, my charge card worked there. I was robbed and want my money back
We were very pleased with the hotel. It was specially surprising to find a fully stocked kitchen in our studio rental, everything we needed to cook fabulous dinners after hiking around Sedona. The best night was grilling steaks poolside and eating it outside at the gazebo. Made for an epic vacation. The "concierge" tried to sell us a time share and tried to convince us to go to their two hour thing. Just don't make eye contact with the concierge in your way in or out.
The view , pool area , staff wAs there for any needs Location of the ADA room
amazing location with incredible view of rocks understaffed. unable to leave front desk to bring cot to room for child. who had to "camp out" on the floor with couch cushions
After a long day of class it felt like I was coming home. The telemarketing messages left on my room phone that was from a local spa.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the Bell Rock had two separate pool areas- one which includes a jacuzzi. The pool areas were very nice, and my two children really enjoyed swimming and using the jacuzzi after a busy day around town. The hotel grounds appears to be kept up really well, with lots of greenery and fountains on the property. The room was very comfortable and well kept. Our room had a kitchenette-although we didn't cook during our stay, I did notice that the kitchenette was well stocked with pans and a decent selection of utensils should we have needed them. Although the hotel is right off of the highway, it was very quiet and we heard no traffic noise our entire stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept great! We had family members who stayed in another hotel closer to downtown Sedona. When they came to visit us in the evening at our room, they expressed wishing they had booked at the Bell Rock Inn instead. This hotel seemed all in all to be a great value, and we would definitely stay there again.
The location was perfect for hikers because you could walk to the trailhead. The pool was awesome. If you stay in a first floor room, you can hear people walking and chairs moving above you (loudly).
Everything about Bell Rock Inn was great from the room, to the service, to the grounds, to the price and the scenery in Sedona, AZ.
Location is nice, but it is on the south side of Sedona. (which is about 20 min. from the art village and most restaurants.) Rooms are nice, but noisy. You can hear the people next door...talking.
The view was amazing, the location is close to everything in Sedona. Reaction of one of the staff members to an indicent with the microwave on the breakfast room.
It was quiet, the view from our room was great, housekeeping every day. Friendly staff. Food variety was great. No fitness room
Easy to get to. Price was affordable for last minute booking at the end of our week in Arizona. Small pool. Small breakfast.
The view and location were great. Just a short 10-15 minute ride from downtown Sedona and just screw minutes to some of Sedona's Rock landmarks. Very simple accommodations. Breakfast was very, very basic.
We lucked out. While the location is south of Sedona itself, it is closest to the best red rock formations and hiking trails. And, it's far away from the crowds, traffic and shopping scene of downtown Sedona. Walk to restaurants, supermarket.
Comfortable bed TV service was choppy. Hot tub dirty
I thought the room was very nice and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
The room was very clean and quiet. The motel was farther from Sedona than we thought. Even though the address is Sedona it's 10 minutes out of town.
Loved the room. Felt like being in a cozy home. Warm and tasteful decoration. Great bed and great bathroom. Close parking. Great mini kitchen . Nothing!
Much more than a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was out of this world and the staff so helpful during the whole stay Nothing it was fantastic
Quiet, clean and comfortable! We went in early June-- off season-- and while it was hot, the view from our porch was beautiful.
Beautiful view and easy to get to Handle to the room broken, shower not clean and drained slowly.
One of the two room I rented had dirty socks in one of the beds. They tried calling the front desk and got no answer and it was only about 10 PM. Needless to say that couple was very unhappy.
Clean and clean every time I go to a hotel I look for that
Location, the view, breakfast nothing
There were renovating the hotel and so it was a total mess...not sure if you are allowed to rent out rooms when the hotel was being ripped apart for renovation.
Very good for the money! Great pool hot tub and breakfast Now called the Sedona Oak Creek Inn. So it was hard to find at first.
Room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of options for all in our party. Entrance is a little hard to get to if you come from the south. Have to go around the roundabout and come back. Not a big deal.
Fire Alarm kept going off even after they "fixed it"
Very nice hotel for a really good price. Nothing. I loved everything.
THis was false advertising!! this was NOT the Holiday INN, it was a Sedona hotel that was under construction the whole time and will one day become a holiday inn yet you charged the price of a holiday inn!
Room was acceptable Changed name, now oak creak inn. Breakfast limited.
Newly remodeled. VERY modern. Highly rec.
Staff was honest about renovations to hotel Breakfast started at 7am which is a little late if you're trying to get a start on hiking
The staff were great! Very friendly and accommodating. We got upgraded to a room with a view! The place was nice and clean and just outside of Sedona so it wasn't right in all the craziness and business of Sedona.
I didn't like one thing, there wasn't one thing to redeem this place. Made reservations during kids spring break. (Also The week of Easter.) drove 6 hours and arrived to an absolute disaster. No lobby, just a room in back, air filled with dust. I have asthma, so I knew I shouldn't even be in there. Tile on floor didn't even have grout. Tiny bathroom was dirty, and disgusting. Pool empty. Made sure to book a hotel with a pool so we could hike early with kids, then they could relax after. We never checked in, cancelled and sat in parking lot for 2 hours waiting for hotels.com to find us a room. Guess what, no rooms in Sedona. Period. Ended up at a crappy comfort Inn along the highway in Camp Verde. No pool, 30 mins from Sedona. Vacation completely ruined.
Staff was friendly. New rooms were clean and nice. Bed was very comfortable. Very much under construction. Loud. Fumes. Exposed wires and cluttered hallways. Chaotic and unsafe. Over priced considering the situation.
