Horrible service at T5 Heathrow airportPros:NothingCons:Claim it is in the airport but you have to walk 20min. Better take a shuttle! Staff was very unfriendly and told us they only hold the car for one hour when we arrived with a 2 hours delay... they couldn’t supply the car we booked but instead of offering a bigger car they tried to sell us a smaller one! It had a strong smell of cigarettes and several dents not recorded in the inspection sheet. We had to refuse and after 1:30 of waiting/negotiation we finally magically had the car we booked. Fraudulent and very I’ll manneredPros:Absolutely nothingCons:Did not have the car I ordered but were willing to rent me a bigger car for considerably more. Insisted I buy their insurance at a ridiculous cost even though I had documentation for ample coverage from the US. Totally belligerent and disrespectful. This was the terminal 3 office at LHR. Good car, bad locationPros:The car, employees, service and experience of renting from Sixt were all good; however, returning the car was a nightmare. Somehow Sixt does not have an address that can be found on GPS. The directions from our hotel were convoluted and confusing for someone not familiar with the Heathrow area.
