The hidden fees and what I was charged vice what I paid was outrageous. I was quoted less than half of what I ended up paying. I was deeply disappointed in this type of activity. I would much rather have upfront and honest prices and not feel like I was ripped of and taken advantage of.Reviewed Apr 21 2024

Pros:The staff were great, the car was great.Cons:We arrived in terminal 2 and there are only shuttles from terminal 3. With a toddler and all the bags and car seats that entails it was a long walk .Reviewed Jan 5 2020

Pros:Budget changed the reservation from a Premium vehicle to a compact car , with an increase in price without notifying me. When I logged onto the Budget website the reservation had been changed. I was told the rate was no longer available!!! I will not use Budget again!!!!!!!Cons:Why was my original reservation changed? Cons:1. heck of a long line to get the car; why does it take such a long time to rent a car when it's pre-ordered and it's just some basic paperwork. 2. I'm still waiting for a bill; haven't even received one by email. Their system was down when I returned the car and yet I've been charged more than was quoted with no explanation at the time of return.Reviewed Sep 17 2018

Bad CommunicationPros:Clean, good car.Cons:Had questions about the rental, both before and during. NEVER GOT REPLY from email I sent before rental started. Called during rental, after 20 minutes on hold I was hung up on. Very bad. Also, at pickup I was pushed too much to upgrade, when I finally got them to understand "NO!" they got very abrupt. Excellent rate and no issues with carPros:Cost of the car was very good. Return was a breeze. Good sized car for the narrow roads we used. Traveled from London to Scotland to Belfast down west coast of Ireland to Dublin. Over to UK a couple stops and back to London. Great trip with car.Cons:I requested a Continental pass when renting. The agent and I both forgot and left without it. I called Budget and was told to go to Budger N. Ireland and get ont to continue on into The Irish Rep. The N. Ireland Budget systems do not talk with the LHR Budget systems. They talked on the phone but concluded that I could not get this in Belfast. I continued without it with no one asking for it.
