Employees were very nice and friendly. Rooms were clean
Location was perfect for weekend activities in the area and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, trails and WCU's campus The room smelled a little musty.
Breakfast was fantastic and the woman serving was very nice and friendly. Pool heater was broken.
nothing very loud rooms. very over priced.
The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I liked the breakfast. The window heater turns on and off, and it woke me up several times in the night. I had to shut it off about 4 in the morning. Also, the light on the patio shone directly outside our window and there was no way to pull the dark curating closed.

Nothing There was hair in the bed, the tub wasn't clean, the room smelled.

free breakfast, parking the location was convenient for why I was traveling
Exceptional customer service, very clean rooms and the hotel itself is very clean and welcoming!
The buffet breakfast was great. Make sure to bring some cash to tip your waitress. I left my wallet in the room and had to go back and get it. The hotel used to have smoking rooms as evidenced by the smell in the Air conditioner.
Value The free breakfast could use some fresh fruit and a waffle maker.
Room smelled like smoke. Beds were hard and you could feel the springs. Bathroom was dirty. No toilet paper when we got to the room. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Light fixture above the bathroom sink fell off. "Free breakfast" was only for 2 of our group. It was a mediocre breakfast at best.
Didn't clean our room!
Quiet, clean, warm, towels that do-not scratch, a triple plus for that. Young, middle age, and elder that clean your room, and I meant the clean room the old fashion way, dust for real ,everything. I have allery, and it did not bother me. A real sit down reaturant with all the fixing for a real breakfast...superior Nothing
The room was clean and stocked with a hairdryer and working TV. The room smelled musty and I saw a roach run across the floor. The bed was like a concrete slab and the pillows flat. There was notthing fluffy in the room, not even the towels.
It was clean and quiet.. My room was on the second floor facing the lobby and beside the vending room, but you would never know it.. The vending machines on the second floor broke down and run out of water but no one came to fix them or put out of order signs on them. Yes I did let the front desk know and he gave me my money back. The young ladies who worked the front desk were fine but the man who works nights needs help..
They had a decent pool and the rooms were spacious and easily accessible. The room's decor was dated, no microwave or mini fridge, and the AC unit leaked water into the carpet when it was on. They had a continental breakfast, but it was sparse compared to most others.
The staff was amazing I loved everything
Clean. Comfortable. Spacious shower.
Staff wss good. Bery accomidating Beds not cfortable. Beds not made every day. Breakfast was dry cerisl and some pastery. Coffee not available on oneorning.
Location The room was small and the TV was a Tube TV. I think you need to upgrade. The bathroom door had a whole in it. We had to stuff a wash rag in the hole to have a little privacy while showering and using the bathroom. Unless some upgrades are made, I would not recommend staying here again.
Hubby and I stayed 2 nights for our anniversary. It was great with a great location near the casino. Not a big fan of Cherokee. All the local eateries are dirty, overpriced, and none were very good. The only thing going for the entire are is the casino.
No clean linen, for breakfast the egg and sausage was fake. The quality of the tv sucked . On Thursday you can't check in before 4:00, but on Friday you check in early...just piss me off. But the bed was very comfortable. The sitting chair need to be a recliner....was not worth $150 a night
The staff were friendly, the room was large, clean and comfortable, and the location is great as we were there to go to Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Easy walk to the casino. Nice view of mountain from our room. The breakfast was good, nothing to write home about, but was hot and substantial and the coffee was good too. Will definitely stay here again and again. There was nothing negative about our stay. We will be returning soon.
Staff was friendly close to casino. Housekeeping should be later since at casino all night. We only got service one day out of four because we slept til 2
Large room, comfortable bed, free breakfast, nice massaging shower head, close to casino.
Location Desk Staff. Bedding. Weird policies. Cleanliness.
Location It was cold, no blankets and staff was totally rude about this fact. They literally told us that blankets are unhygienic and therefore they don't have any. I also overheard one of them tell a handicapped couple that they couldn't have a handicap room because they didn't book directly with the hotel. And they barely had any rooms booked.... Oh they lied and said that the hotel was fully booked, but there were no cars or customers anywhere. They apparently don't like third party bookings so unless you plan on calling them directly don't bother.
Clean, wifi worked reasonably well, simple. No breakfast might be a plus that keeps the price low. There are plenty of places around to eat breakfast. At many hotels breakfast isn't very eatable anyways... The room keys upon check in didn't work. Had to walk back to the front office. The front desk person couldn't open the door either with his master key. Ended up changing the rooms.
Nice & clean
Delicious breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Comfy beds and great shower! Room was a little cold. Had trouble controlling temp.
- Free hot beverages and continental breakfast - Comfortable beds - Nice clean pool - Very pleasant staff - The shower drain was slightly clogged, so the water did not run out smoothly. It remained in the shower for quite awhile before draining.
It was close to the casino and relatively clean.
The room was nice and I got a great deal on it N/A
Friendly staff, clean. Mattress too soft.
Everything - your staff is outstanding
Even though we don't gamble, we love this hotel for the location and great restaurants. We've stayed here multiple times as a fall getaway. Very convenient to drive to Bryson City and Nantahala Forest. Love the restaurants on-site: Ruth's Chris Steaks, BrIo Tuscan, Johnny Rockets, Uno, Starbucks. Beautiful decor with outdoor seating next to a natural creek. Room very clean and nice size. We will continue to stay at this hotel for our annual visit to NC mountains.
Nice hotel. Beds are super comfortable. Beautiful location in the Smoky Mountains. Plenty to do nearby like hiking, fishing, etc. Check out Mingo Falls if you go. Everything at the hotel is super expensive. Food and drinks are way overpriced.
Staff was helpful. Rooms were just not clean. Cigarette burns in furniture. Felt gross.
Creekside location. Room was clean. Checkin was pleasant. Hotel room floor was uneven. Unlike other motels/hotels, there was no complimentary breakfast offered.
We were allowed to change our reserved rooms to ones on the river w/ porches and rockers upon arrival. Very nice to sit out at night. My friends and I had side by side rooms. Rooms were decent. Some units have very small bathrooms, including mine, but for me, it wasn't a problem at all. Motel is located a few miles out of Bryson, although it seems to be just as close to Cherokee. Not a long drive or anything. No complaints here.
When you arrive to Lloyds, you see a lodge/motel, as is the norm for majority of the Cherokee area. We were greeted by the front desk manager and enjoyed a pleasant conversation. He recommended many restaurants, along with sharing a map to assist with all their locations. Once we entered our room, it was not as expected, every room is different. Done have hard wood floors, some have paneling, etc. You walk through your room and out the back door onto a joined rear deck with plenty of rocking chairs overlooking the river. The serenity was great, the view was amazing, and the atmosphere won us over. We will return here for all of our future visits to the Cherokee area. The paneling continued into the doors making then harder to close.
Nothing One bed was like a hammock the other one was Like a rock. The cleaning lady didn't clean well, just made the beds and replaced towels. Never vacuumed and the sink and shower were dirty. Never emptied or cleaned the coffee pot just dropped off two cups and supplies. The best news is that I never have to go there again!
For the price and location this is a perfect place! Will definitely return. The only issue we had was the shower was a walk-in only and it didn't drain well. By the time two showers were complete you were standing in water.
Really, really liked the whole nature scene. There were plenty of trees, a rushing creek playing my favorite sounds, and a comfortable place to lay my head at night. Also, the folks behind the desk were super kind and helpful. They seemed to enjoy helping my group get orientated with Maggie's Valley.
Beautiful area, clean friendly staff. Best on franchise hotel for the price I can remember staying in. No breakfeast served, however great resturant across the street.
Went to Maggie Valley to see Wheels Thru Time Museum and the wife & one adult son came along. Picked Jonathan Creek because few booking available at time. What a home run! After a recent bad experience using small local inns on a PA get away we found spotless, well maintained facilities with local charm and comfort. and a friendly staff. Last minute travel changes had us stay two nights and not just one. Next season I plan a cycle tour back to Maggie Valley and to run the near by Dragon and I will return.
The back patio to the stream was very relaxing. Location was great. There was no dresser to put clothes on which I found strange. Also, there weren't enough sheets on the bed for winter. No comforter. There was BARELY enough parking for everyone.
Pretty nice hotel for the price I paid. I expected it to be cheaper looking. Which, I was ok with knowing I'd be spending little time in my room. I know not to expect anything decent from a continental breakfast but the appeal at staying at Ramada over one of the many independent inn's and motels in Maggie Valley was the breakfast. However, it was indeed terrible- I want eggs and bacon and ample fruit. The coffee wasn't even labeled decaf or not. Next time I visit Maggie Valley, NC I will stay in an independent inn and get breakfast at a diner.
Desk clerk was very nice. Pool and Fitness rooms not as nice as pictured.
stayed one night and was pleased with room for the money spent.easy access and exit.would recommend.
I stayed for one night and it was a great place to stay at. The check in attendant was very nice and check out was absolutely a breeze. I highly recommend it.
I have been staying here since they tore the Plasa Motel down a few years ago. I tried a couple of others but when I stayed at the Econ Lodge that was it, I have been comming back ever since. Icall the Qualla my home away ffrom home and try to get back as often as I can. My next visit will be July 1 to 8. I will be there for the Pow-Wow, which if any of you are in the area should try to see. I'm sure once you stay here you'll want to come back, especially when the leaves turn in the fall. From here I'm going up north for about 3 or 4 weeks and then back here on my way back to Florida for a week or so. So, why not make your next trip Cherokee and the Econo Lodge I'm sure you'll enjoy the Hotel and it's location.
The location along the river was perfect! Close to everything we wanted to do, but not so close that we were bothered by the sounds of traffic or the crowds! The room was clean and fully stocked, but the beds were a little lumpy. The staff was excellent; helpful, but not intrusive! The breakfast menu was very sparse, but we will definitely stay again!
Staff friendly, room very clean, nice bedding and comfortable mattress. convenient
I stayed during the street repair time. It was noisy and hard to get around since the street was down to one lane. It was OK for the price. Didn't expect much for breakfast and didn't get much. Coffee and yogurt.
I recomend this hotel...It's close to everything, very ,very quiet and the location is so beautiful, close to the river and a lot o f trees around...Loved the place..
Excellent room it was clean, bed was comfy, would stay again, staff was very friendly.
I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was very cozy and extremely clean. This is not what I would call a typical 'Econo- lodge'. It was way above my expectations. If you are not staying at the casino. I don't think there is a better place in Cherokee.
The room was clean--tv and ac worked--front desk friendly and nice --room service was very good. Breakfast was small (not much choice. Over-all very nice.
Very clean, comfortable. Great river views from the balcony. I am a coffee drinker. Their coffee was not good.
The hotel was clean & bright & open. It was so beautiful with all the balconies that look over the river. They have a big balcony in the main hall, then we had one off our room. It was beautiful!! The staff was great! They directed us to a close-by restaurant (Akros, I think) That food was wonderful!! The best chicken parmesan I've ever had! The whole trip was amazing . & I would stay there again & again! :) Not much I didn't like. They were renovating a part of the hotel, so there was some dust here & there, but NOT in our room... so I really can't complain!
Clean and affordable. Comfortable rooms and excellent quality of service. I would recommend and book here again. Cable tv service terrible. Poor quality picture and limited channels. But I would stay here again because everything else was good especially the services.
Description of whole facility was misleading.the room we were given was dark and had a pine tree for a view
This is a magnificent hotel on the river. Highly recommended. Not really.
My stay at the Four Seasons was outstanding. I was really impressed with the quality of the room and the overall condition of the hotel. The food was delicous too. I would stay there again. The front desk clerk needed to be more enthusiastic and outgoing. I also think the price was a little too expensive.
The character was a through back in time. The covered porch overlooking the creek, wonderful a very friendly atmosphere. Perfect in every way. NO!
The beds were comfortable, hard wired Internet worked very well, breakfast just o.k. Pool small but clean- enjoyed it after a 4 hour hike. Location good unless you're visiting WCU. Took us over 20 min. one way to get to the university. The ice machine on the first floor had a power surge and the clerk told me there wasn't another one in the building so went to the gas station for ice only to learn next day there was one working the third floor
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They knew the areas attractions, restaurants and supplied additional printed information and directions. I found the breakfast very good with a good variety of items. The staff working on the breakfast area were very helpful with questions and worked well with children. The building was very clean and modern. I recommend this hotel for a great base to explore the area from. There are many attractions very close to enjoy during the day and then return to the hotel for a restful evening and good nights sleep. The lighting in the room was modern and bright, however, a soft night light type set up would have been great for younger children or older adults, due to the fact that they both have to find the bathroom during the night with out bothering the other occupants in the room.
The bed was nice, also the sofa was great. It provided somewhere to relax besides the bed. The walls may have been soundproofed but certainly not the doors. Listened to people coming and going well into the night, Even heard the elevator every time it buzzed and beeped.
Very restful room with a great view of the mountains, open window to the fresh air, great breakfast, good price. The window seat was a nice touch.
Convenient to everything downtown. A nice walk from the motel. Clean, nice staff, good breakfast pretty setting.
Spent one night after a few days of backpacking in the Smokies. Lovely place -- clean, great bed. The staff was extremely welcoming. The selection of TV channels is very limited. No big deal.
This Sleep Inn was very nice and comfortable. The desk host was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quite. The breakfast was very good and had lots to choose from. Every one from check in to check out were very friendly and professional. I will stay here again when I come back to the area.
This property is well taken care of with a wonderful staff. Rooms are on the small side but the staff & facilities excellent condition more than make up for that.
