They charged me for a full recharge of the EV at pickup; however, the car was almost on empty when I picked it up. There were no instructions provided for recharging the EV. The representative was rude at the counter. I asked to get a different vehicle, but the guy insisted another car would cost $75/ day more. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will never use Hertz or Kayak again.

I had to wait in line to pick up my car for 75 minutes! Due to this, this was by far my worst experience ever renting from hertz. The person at the desk who helped me was excellent, however. Whatever led to the delay needs to be addressed. It was far below my expectations based on my previous experience renting from Hertz.

I would first like to say the workers at the enterprise at syracuse airport were very nice and helpful. The day i went to pick up my car, it was insanely busy. there was truly not enough staff, which is more of a management problem. But the car i received had a tail light out and even though it had been “cleaned” it reeked of weed. the carplay cut out multiple times as well. but they were already so busy and selling out cars i couldn’t go without a car for my vacation.

They informed me less than 24 hours in advance of pickup that the passenger van was not available. It seems there was a recall, made public in early June. When I asked for assistance in locating a replacement vehicle, no assistance was offered. I attempted to use the chat, spoke with someone I called in customer service, and I followed up with an online contact form. No return contact from anyone at Enterprise, despite being told I would have contact and that this matter was being escalated. To take the trip with our Girl Scout troop, we rented a midsized SUV from Avis and I took a personal vehicle. This more than doubled the cost from fuel. Driving time was increased greatly. The rental was significantly more expensive than what we thought we would pay by reserving in advance. I will not trust this process again.

We waited in line for 90+ minutes to get our car. Management didn't give us any information. It turns out they didn't have enough cars and fortunately, my family got the last one for several hours. No empathy or consideration for customers just standing in line.

Pick-up at SYR ok but staff impatient and clearly not happy doing the job. Drop-off at JFK confusing and a hassle. Signs lead to a former Dollar lot where you are then redirected to the Hertz lot. Plus airport under construction. Very stressful. They should get their signage right.

I received an "It’s official: you got a ride for Syracuse". The reservation had been cancelled when I attempted to pick up the car. The experience would be improved with proper communication and keeping the reservation that was confirmed by your company. Or email that no car is available.
