Thought customer service poor. Unable to get vehicle . Kia Sorento small for 7 people and luggage. Unable to upgrade with paying 45 more per day, no vehicles. Pathfinder not there or minivan. Charge for Expedition 75 a day more. Too expensive. Was charged for extra driver 13.99 a day. Showed rental coverage policy saying no charge. Still charged extra. Not pleased with service. Told no vehicles in to accommodate us. Had seniors . Sent to 3rd floor and slot to pick up car. Had to find someone to help us there. Luggage space small with 3rd row up even with carry on. Basically put luggage between seats. Uncomfortable ride to travel 2.5 hours from airport. Very disappointedReviewed Oct 21 2024

Even though we had a car reserved and used the online check-in, we had to wait for almost an hour in line (and then check in again). They did not have the car we reserved available (even though we reserved it not long in advance). The bathrooms were disgusting.Reviewed Oct 21 2024

My poor experience about pricing transparency. The cost of the rental car was 30% more than the kayak quote, and the initial estimate from thrifty. I was charged the additional 30% after returning the car, and had zero add ons. The receipt / charges are extremely unclear what the additional cost was. I attempted to reach out to their customer service and the process is to send a vague complaint form . I feel like I was scammed- but have no recourse- I definitely will not be using thrifty ever again. Also in the car pick up, the process took more than an hour and the first car had a check engine light on, that I needed to change carsReviewed Oct 20 2024

We arrived and they didn’t have the car we booked. I told them it was fine to put us in something else, BUT they had no cars available. We had to wait for 35-40 minutes for a car that was in horrible condition.Reviewed Oct 19 2024

Did not have a car. Required me to run my credit card again. Could not give me a receipt. Their procedure was that I should wait on the floor with 20 plus other people. I eventually got a car with another company. Could not cancel my "reservation" or "rental" with Thrifty.
