Wasn’t so much the car but the company has been a nightmare to deal with. I hit a rabbit on the way home and I was NOT able to file an incident report no matter what I tried. The button for it would either not work OR I would be let to a page that said the link expired. I wound up having a $650 charge that I’ll now have to plead with whatever third party insurance thrust upon me to absolve. The entire experience of this has been nothing but hugely stressful on me and my finances. I can’t say I’d use kayak or hertz again in all honesty.Reviewed Jul 16 2026

I needed to change the dates of my reservation, but was informed I needed to cancel and rebook. The website states free cancellation, however that is false advertisement. After multiple calls I was told I would get no reimbursement for my reservation. Do not offer free cancellation when you’re not going to honor it. I will not use Kayak again.Reviewed Jul 4 2026
