Cons: I made a reservation the morning of the 27 in may for the same day. I was suppose to pick up a car at noon and have it delivered to Orlando the next day at noon to catch a flight to see grandmother who had an emergency surgery that day. I had no issues making the reservation online through a third party and even called to confirm the reservation I made and time. I showed up at the airport to pick up the car and the women at the counter was nice but said "our car was not available yet", I asked her when she thought I should come back, she said after 5 pm! and I asked her for a number to call to check on it every couple hours. When I tried to call the number it went straight to the 1-800 recording and I could never reach the desk. I then went up there around 4:15 to see if it was close and there was now a guy at the desk. He told me I was not getting a car and that there is nothing he could do. He opened up the drawer and showed me an empty car box and said that no reservation is guaranteed, even though I got a conformation in my email. So I stood to the side and the people behind me where of the Hispanic heritage, just like him, and he pulled a set of keys out of the drawer, WITH THE EMPTY key box, and started checking them in. I asked him what that was about and he said that they made there reservation yesterday so they had priority. HOW DID HE KNOW THAT? AND he told me there were NO cars left. So after the other people got there car with no trouble and left, a lady comes to return a car. She sees that I was stressed with a said that I could have her car, the guy said, I can not give her a dirty car so it will have to be cleaned and I have that saved for someone else. The lady told him that she has received a dirty care before and his response was exactly " I know, and that fucking pisses me off". Then the lady just walked away and told me good luck, she was speechless given that she looked like an older respectable lady. The guy at the desk then told me that if I wait another 35 min and if another reservation didn't show up I could get the car. So, 6 hours late I got a car and it was NOT the same I reserved and no price adjustment, actually it was HIGHER! The reservation was made in my fiancees name, but he asked for both of our license and a credit card. so I gave him mine. He switched it all around to where I was the only one on the reservation and m fiance couldn't drive AT ALL. I am 23 years old, which is under 25, so he charged me 27$ extra without my permission because my fiance is 29! We could've avoided that entire charge. Because of all of this, I have been charged two plane tickets that we missed which equals to over 250$ and a hotel room on a Saturday night that I couldn't cancel which was 129$! upon returning the car, the lady at double tree would NOT come out to check it and confirm that I had a full tank and that it was clean. She did not want to hear my complaints and told me there is nothing she could do....so what do I do now?
