Cons:I rented the car on line for a stated rate. When I arrived at the counter I was charged a higher rate. The counter attendant pointed out that the online vendor did not charge enough in fees. When I pointed out that, that was not problem and that I should get the lower rate, she told me that she would send my appeal to a supervisor for review. I received an email the following day with a commitment from the supervisor to honor the online rate. So while it worked out well, I was surprised by the disjoint between the online quote and the Thrifty direct price.
Pros:Yes, great service.
Cons:The constant requests by the car's computer to connect to it were very annoying, even a distracting tion from safe driving. Plus, I booked through Hotwire, butwhy can't Thrifty give me a receipt?? Aksi annoying . . . Thanks
Cons:I believe I got upgraded and charged due to me not denying but also not confirming an upgrade. The guy at the check in counter talked so fast I could barely understand what he was saying.
Cons:My flight was delayed and thrifty didnt hold my rental past 2 hours. There were no more small cars so i had tp rent a midsize suv for 15.00 a day more. I was disppointed they couldn't honor my reservation.
Pros:Nice person at the counter to help. Car was in great shape. Rented an Altima.
Cons:They are constructing a new building in Omaha so pickup and drop off was clunky. Dropping off was worse because there was no attendant at lot booth. The shuttle driver said to just drop the key in the box. Sign on the box says “use envelope” but there was no envelope. Ugh.
Pros:Super friendly staff at pick up! He heard my daughter say she hopes we get a white car, and a few seconds later handed us the keys to a white Malibu.
Cons:No one was in the booth at return, so it was unclear if I could just use the drop box. Luckily, someone came by right before I was about to call them to check, so he processed the return for me.
Pros:The staff was helpful. The car was clean. Thrifty is doing the best they can in an awful facility.
Cons:The issues are NOT with Thrifty. The Omaha car rental facility and taxes are terrible. The facility is new, but poorly designed as you need to drag your luggage up an escalator then over a skyway, then over to the rental counters, then down to the car rental kiosks, then over to the car. &60% taxes?
Pros:I listed midnight for the pickup, not realizing that this changed the day so you jumped the rate by $150. Really disappointed.
Cons:Car I paid to rent was not available. Having the car I actually reserved would have been better

Cons:Charged me extra for unlimited mileage since I didn't have a return flight ticket. I am disappointed in Thrifty and Kayak for this
