The location right off of I-81 was great. Nice pool.

Comfy beds and I had no problem with hot water in the shower like i have with so many other hotel in this ones price range and I loved the breakfast If I am in the area and there is one of these motels I would definitely stay here over most others

The hallway smelled bad and the room smelled like clorox

My husband had made the arrangements for my stay..he mistakenly booked a smoking room...he called to change it but it was the last available room..he was told that if one became available they would give us the room..when my friend and I arrived the person behind the desk did indeed change our room to a non-smoking room..we were quite pleased! Thank you!!!!!

We loved the pool, warm breakfast, the breakfast to go option, comfortable bed, cleanliness, and friendly staff

Very nice hotel. Comfortable bed and room. Cleanliness was very good. Breakfast area was cramped but quality and selection was better than the competition.

Room soundproofing could be better. Traffic on street noticeable. Could hear footsteps in room upstairs.

I have stayed at Hampton Inn before in another location and this one isn't even close even though it just opened in March 2014. It was a great disappointment.

The décor was very modern and urban, did not fit well with this part of Virginia. It felt cold and sterile. The breakfast was horrible. On each of the three days I tried to get oatmeal(my favorite), it was so dried out and hard you couldn't even get it out of the ladle. The eggs had some sort of green flecks in them along with cheese which made the eggs taste spoiled. The waffle batter was so runny that the baked waffles came apart when you tried to get them out (and yes, I did wait for the complete baking cycle to finish). When I asked for a later check out time, the instant answer was 'NO'. Overall, VERY overpriced and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. A brand new hotel should be a much better experience.

Room smelled. Commode seat was off hinges... Bathroom light was out.Since I checked in late...so maintenance was not available... Had to go to local store to buy Lysol spray Lysol to spray in my room and my mothers room smelled like mold... We sat out side for about an hour 1/2 to bring the smell out of our rooms.

The Rooms and facility was very clean. The free breakfast was much better then expected. The price was excellent.

I had no idea that this was a Motel and Hotel. Some rooms were inside and some rooms were outside which was not mentioned at all on-line. I was in an outside room and you could hear all the neighbors coming and going, plus that room was right along Route 81, so you heard all the traffic noise as well. They need to list on-line that they have both inside and outside rooms. Breakfast was pretty meager. The waffles were great, but that's all they had beside cold cereal.

Not much. We got exactly what we paid for, an inexpensive clean place to rest for the night. Could it use some updating? Sure, but you are then missing the point.
