Runyon Canyon Park
Love the showers! The only lounging chair was a beanbag which isn't ideal
A little weird
Room was neat and clean very vibrant No microwave or fridge it's really needed especially for a person like me having surgery hopefully they will upgrade to fridge and microwave
Room was very clean. Housekeeping service is great. Ice machines broken on a few floors.
This is an excellent motel in West Hollywood. Taking into consideration the value it offers good clean rooms, free wifi, and parking. You are about two miles from the Chinese theatre which gives you a good walk up either sunset or hollywood blvd. You are also at the entrance to the 101 however traffic is LA is terrible all the time so it's not like you will be speeding away to your destination. The maid service was good and the front desk staff were very nice. It's not an luxury hotel but you aren't paying those prices. I would stay here again if I visit LA.
This hotel needs a total makeover. The plumbing was terrible and all faucents leaked. The carpet probably had bed bugs in it and the bedspreakds had holes in them. The faucets leaked all night long. The shower head was totally broken. It was a pithole that i'd never go back to.
Location and price. Limited parking. Even though we had the hotel-issued parking permit, there was not a parking space available when we returned at 10 pm. We squeezed into a space at the end of the pool. (Not a marked parking space.)
Parking lot was small spaces ran out I tell the fuu at the front desk I need a paeking space you have no more he says park in the side in a dark alley I tell him no its to dark he says you payed for the room not the parking. Nothing and they have a 100 deposit that they say nothing about till you check on
the location (walking distance to subway stations), the friendly staff, the rooms hollywood blvd
It was 7 minutes from Universal Studios Hollywood. The room appeared to be really clean. Their very small parking garage was full. There wasn't any street parking available. We had to park down the street and pay $25 to park in that lot. For that $25 more, we could have stayed at a much nicer hotel that had parking for us. We were trying to save money by staying here and it cost us more because of parking.
We had flown from NY to drive down to San Diego and stayed for a night in LA. Our room was cleaned, renovated look and comfortable. The staff was excellent and free breakfast. Very affordable.
It is close to the airport. The room was old and dirty. Breakfast was poor.
Excellent location, good value, clean, very nice large format picture of Griffith Observatory in the room - brought the appearance of the room head and shoulders above the typical budget business travel experience. I will definitely come back. Good access to yummy eating in both Thai Town and Little Armenia... Slow elevator, spongy carpeting in hallways - i.e. no big deal...
Nearly from hotel you can shopping . The hotel was expensive for 2 star . For me next time no go.it was not good clean.
Very clean room, very comfortable stay, friendly staff and had HBO The surrounding area was ok
location, staff was friendly internet wasn't working, seems to have bedbugs
Quiet Comfortable beds Newish interiors Lots of free toiletries. Great safe location close to LAX. The bathroom could have been cleaned better. I found some hairs in the tub.
The price on this is the only positive I can think of. You really get what you pay for. And there's a police station nearby. So, first off, there's 27 rooms, and 27 parking spaces, two of which are handicapped. When I came back to the hotel after a night on Santa Monica pier, there was literally only one handicap space left empty, and I can't park on the street because that's illegal during the night. When I tried to get help from the staff about this (they are a 24hr office), no one was there. I didn't get it resolved until I had already parked in the handicap space and was in my room about to sleep. Other than that, the bed was hard as a rock, and the internet barely worked with text-based websites, let alone video streaming like Hulu or Netflix. The neighborhood is pretty scary, especially at night. Your only solace that your stuff won't be stolen is there's a police station a short walk away. All in all, if you're in a pinch and can't afford anything else, go for it. Otherwise, stay away.
Comfy bed large room
Allowed us to check in early Wifi didn't work in our room, had to sit in the car park. very expensive and there was a lot of homeless people living outside our window and the curtain wouldn't close fully
They gave us a free upgrade to Jacuzzi room!
Nothing They told us the day we got there that they lost our reservation. I don't know whether to blame kayak or the wave but what a horrible experience.
