Loved the hotel. Have stayed there many times... Amazing location...

However, $750 a night is absolutely insane!! Somehow got ripped off online into paying that for one night! It was supposed to be for 2 nights.... Not happy... Complete rip off...

Location is superb with Stanley Park at the door and the city behind. Great views

Easy access to downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, and Capilano Suspension Bridge. Good breakfast restaurants within easy walking distance. Good access to local malls and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Parking was a little cramped, street noise, older building.

As it was just my dog and me staying at the Travelodge, we had a bit more room than we needed to accommodate us. We had a non-smoking pet room. When I got into the room the carpet in between the beds was soggy. Not sure why. The shower dripped all night long the first night, but after I showered in it the next morning, it did not. The bed was fine, the air temperature unit worked as did the television and the lamps. The room had a fridge and a microwave. The fridge was working, I did not test the microwave. I completely got what I paid for and it was better standard than I'm used to for a motel.

The shower temperature could not be regulated whatsoever. The pillows were pretty lumpy. But if that's all I have to complain about for the price I paid, I'm good with it.

Location at a reasonable price.

Sound transmits through walls but I had quiet neighbors so my stay was nice.

The location and the breakfast is good. The room was clean.

The hotel is like an old road motel. All is old, the room smelled like a insecticide, the carpet was break, bad value for money

Great time. Superb location, quiet yet very close to west end food, shopping, beach. Very nice apartment, nice furnishings and well decorated. Front desk upgraded us to a two bedroom apartment. We were just in for one night after a long wilderness trip, but would be excited to stay here during a longer visit.

Kitchen seemed short of cooking gear, though we didn't stay long enough to warrant asking for additional cooking utensils. But they had a great coffee maker there.

Excellent Satnley Park is able to work around in a few minute. Queit rooms with home like mood.

The empire landmark has good prices for a decent hotel. The staff is friendly and there is a cool restaurant on the top floor. Rooms are nice and clean.

The issues with this hotel are as follower: you must pay for everything (parking, Internet, ect) & the location is a bit far from the main strip so if you plan to go to clubs and bars prepare yourself to walk slightly farther then you would like.

This was a great location for dining and shopping. Also very close to many activities downtown.

Felt nickel and dimed here. Local call charges were $1.05 per call. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, obviously not upgraded in many years. The rooms themselves had not been updated in a very long time either. Holes in the drapes, peeling wallpaper and dingy carpets. Just not up to par for hotels I've stayed at in Vancouver before and way more pricey.

Air conditioner did not work and was blowing warm air into the unit. Very hot evening no sleep. So sad.

Hotel is modern, well-featured and well-located.

Yellow stains on sheets. In-room heater very, very noisy and thus unusable. When staff were notified of these items at checkout, they took note of them but made no effort to offer compensation.

For having 6 elevators, it sure took forever to get a one...super super slow. I even overheard a customer complaining how slow. This hotel needs to be remodel. It has been stuck in the 80's mirror motif. I also did not like that their bathrooms had NO fan. So as soon as you took a shower, you have to open up the bathroom door. The TV remote is shady. The power button is right below the button for you to purchase an in house mainstream movie, and when your done watching whatever channel, once you turn the TV off. The TV automatically will return you to the premium movie channel. If you are not watching what your doing, you might purchase a movie...BE CAREFUL. My friend went onto the balcony and he told me it wobbled. They have underground parking, but its best that you have a compact car...tiny tiny spaces.

The location is perfect. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. The room has a fridge, a safe and a small wardrobe for coats etc. the staff are wonderfully helpful and the hotel offers free morning coffee/tea delivery to your room.

Rooms are nicely renovated but the washroom is tiny tiny tiny and the room is dated. The couch ibarely accommodates 2 people and is uncomfortable, the pillows and mattress are old and soft. The only place to unpack clothing is the nightstand as there are no other drawers in the room.

The view was great, location was great and these made our stay perfect. The room was clean and maintained during our stay, the staff was courteous. All in all happy at the end.

Felt the staff was a little stuffy; thought the room was OK, wasn't what I expected (for the price). No ice machine?! Had to call for room service to have that brought up every day...? Maybe I'm not used to boutique hotels.

I have stayed at hotels that cost 2/3 the cost of this place in Vancouver and were just as nice if not better. I am very confused why I paid $600 a night to stay here.

Well appointed, modern, spacious.

Construction noise. The hotel failed to warn us about this. We would avoided it.

They nickle and dime you; parking was $10 daily more than advertised on my confirmation (they said it was an old rate, although I only booked two days before the stay!). Then they charge for wifi! Seriously!?!?!? Who charges for wifi these days?

Beds were very comfortable

We had 3 people in our party so we got a room with a king bed & a roll away. Wasn't happy !

Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also,every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!

Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well.

Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.

Beautiful place to stay for my first time in Vancouver. Close to everything downtown.

Very comfortable bed and pillows - Everything I needed was in the room. Check in and out were very fast. It was an enjoyable stay and the location was perfect.

Great location, great facilities, starbucks in the lobby, super efficient elevators so getting up and down from high floors is easy even during the busiest periods, comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms, excellent service from staff at all levels. An outstanding experience.

Staff were excellent. From the front desk, bellman, housekeeping and concierge, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay extremely pleasant.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. We were able to have an early check in which was very helpful. The location is convenient to a major transportation hub.

Noisy night club next door

the central location was very nice, the suite was comfortable, with all the niceties that one would expect, very nice staff, efficient, and responsive... quite.. great view...

elevators were slow and shook, the sliding door slid off the rail,, the pool was not open.. the TV's were difficult to use....

The rooms are small, but everything else was great. Fantastic front desk. The hotel was quite willing to change a reservation by 24 hours, but not the hotel booker.

Turns out that the booking service (that begins with "K" and won't allow comments on this site, uses a third party hotel booker (also not allowed a mention here) but begins with a "G" who are totally inflexible.

Restaurant has very limited options and very rude staff. food taste poor and not worth money. Hotel is very small with limited facilities. I will not like to stay again.

LOVED THE Location and loved this Hotel! BEAUTIFUL

This is a beautiful hotel and an exellent place to stay if you are leaving on or coming back from a cruise. The Arc restaurant is wonderful and all of the hotel staff are the best.. Our luggage was transferred to the ship for us which was a plus. The rooms are beautiful with spectacular views of the harbor and Canada Place.. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.

Amazing location in downtown Vancouver to enjoy all the terrific city has to offer! Beautiful views and gorgeous rooms but it all boils down to location! Breakfast was a nice perk too!

Great hotel everything was so nice. The staff were so helpful. The rooms very comfortable and bedding was great!

The service was impeccable from check in, to concierge, to bartender and wait staff. The lobby and public areas were beautiful as well. The room was large.

The room was really run down. The carpet was old, buckling, and had stains all over and the furniture has seen its best days long ago.

The location

Way overpriced compared to service and how old and outdated the rooms are. The bathtub was peeling, the hot water would go away in the sink, you had to constantly regulate it. They don't tell you ahead of time the cost of parking, which was almost $50.00 a day, otherwise I would have looked for an alternative, they just hit you with a bill dropped in front of your room door on the last day of your stay so you don't yell at them at checkout.

Were were given the option to upgrade our room...at a cost of 40$ a night. Rooms were comfortable and overall enjoyed our stay.

When booking the hotel we booked a deluxe queen room....however when checking in we were told we could only have a room with 2 singles as there were no other comparable rooms. We were given the option to upgrade. So adding an extra cost and the parking is also approx. 40 $ a night!

The staff were very accomodating. Went out of their way to assure we were taken care of - without even being asked. Friendly concierge and bell staff. Would definately stay here again.

Amazing staff, room and location!!! We felt like we really lucked out with Sunset are already planning our next stay with them. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff again who were so kind and helpful!!

Their Italian restaurant is superb. Pasta homemade daily and the best haibut I've ever had. Rhe rooms are spacious, simple and comfortable. The staff warm and gracious.

It's a great and pleasant stay

The hotel is centrally placed in the city and an easy walk to most of the major locations. The employees were very helpful. The facilities were clean. The price was very reasonable as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room in the evening must of had some young kids nearby as music was heard along with laughing and voices through the walls or possibly through the ceiling. That was the only inconvenient part of the stay.

The staff was incredibly professional with wonderful attitudes.

The restaurant at Four Seasons had a delicious breakfast and the bed was super comfortable!

The hotel feels a little old and worn down rather than luxurious, the gym is small, hot-tub was luke warm with no jet power, pool looks nice but it's small and shallow and there were silverfish in the sauna. On top of this I had some thing happen to me personally that didn't make it a great experience overall (things like the cleaning staff didn't come any day I was there).

Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished.
