Pros: "I requested an aisle due to being pregnant and once people started checking in I was called up and they had switched my seat. (It was red eye flight so I didn’t get to experience food/drink)"

Also resulted in a 5 hour layover in Seattle. Don't like paying for entertainment or food when I pay $1000 for flights. Feel cheated and buckled and dimed. Also did not like no free checked bags. Again I find all airlines that do this insulting. One bag should be included in our flight. How many people fly without any. That is one reason I often fly southwest."

Cons: "Where do I start... even though I booked my flights in late July for this late August trip, and even spoke to a representative over the phone about my dog being my carry on item, they never mentioned to me that my first row seats in First Class didn't allow dogs. I had chosen my seats so my partner and I could obviously sit together, but on the day of my flight(s) is when they decided to change my preferred seat which I paid to reserve and moved me into another row in First Class but without sitting by my partner. We had to get our seats fixed before each flight which should have either been alerted to me in the first place or automatically found us seats together. Also, the First Class check in before TSA was useless, as we had to go through the Assistance line anyway and it added considerable time to my trip. Also, once we were at the gate, First Class didn't even board first, but had to wait after three different groups of people were allowed to board first (families with children, injured people, and veterans). While boarding them with some priority is not the issue it's that first class should go before these, then those special groups, THEN general boarding. What was the allure and advantage of First Class? Once I boarded my flight to Seattle and had finally been approached (in flight) by my stewardess about my meal and drink options, she easily asked others before me and listed their options but with me stared blankly and gave me a judgmental look when I ordered champagne and dinner, something almost every other person before me had said to her. After that, getting service was a joke. I had to press the call button to even get her to come by when I needed hot water for my asthma cough attack, and she never even returned to me so I could continue getting more hot water (that I needed). I felt she was doing this out of racism, as I was one of the only brown people in First Class and as I observed, the only one she singled out for this behavior. Also, the in flight tablet to watch movies had grainy, low resolution and all my films were edited for children (curse words were badly edited out) and I think this is unnecessary for anyone unless they are seated with children. I couldn't imagine paying for that tablet and watching such low quality videos on it at a further extension of that cost. Finally, I was accosted by this stewardess again as we were landing for my dog's carrier bag not being shoved even further under the seat in front of me (bear in mind, I never moved my dog or her bag at any time after I had initially placed her under her seat) and honestly I found that to be pretty insulting and humiliating when all I was doing was sitting there. First Class came with literally no perks other than alcohol and subpar food, which I would not pay that extravagant price for ever again. In fact, it left me with no intention at all to continue ever using services with Alaska airlines, even though I have to travel to Alaska often."

Cons: "Gogo is a no go. The CEO of whomever supplies it should be made to sit in a seat, handed his cell phone, and told to get wifi. By the time he is ready to throw his cell phone out the window, he will fire ten programmers. Guys! It shouldn't be this damn much work. I asked other flyers, they said, "not using it, couldn't figure it out." Here's a blast, - quit charging, have it show up as a wifi hotspot on a cell phone, you push a button for connect, and voila- THAT IS HOW IT SHOULD WORK."

I called customer service and was told I would be given a refund for all the trouble my cancelled flight was causing making me late for work and my ride being unable to pick me up at the new landing time. I never received a refund and my rebooked flight got cancelled. I almost didn't get home on that flight either, but the customer service agent found me a seat. I never received a refund and I missed out on pay at work. I never want to fly Alaska again!"

I took it on the plane anyway; and there was PLENTY of space in the overhead compartments. This feels like I’m being treated as a second class citizen because I was unwilling to be nickel and dimed for seat or boarding upgrades. It’s infuriating"

The gate crew keeping us updated is what saved the name of Delta. If she didnt do that people would have been angry."

Three out of seven of the flight crew were not happy about how badly they were being treated by call center and /or management while they were delayed with us at gate. Snacks were brought out because of delay but they were just junk food. Nothing I could eat due to allergies."

The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

I didn't like the fact that they couldn't manage to scramble another plane and crew, but instead forced us to wait over four hours for one that was stuck somewhere else in the country."

The headphone jacks and headphones they gave us on the plane were not compatible. If it twisted even a bit, it would lose the connection. I understand these may seem petty, but they are things we've come to expect on airline travel. If they aren't going to be there, please let us know when we book our tickets so we can plan accordingly. The flight attendant for my section of the plane was cold and a bit rude. I didn't want to ask her for anything."

I had to go from gate E 6 to gate B14 in a flash at the age of 66 I barely made it out of breath and they were about to close the doors! I was not a happy camper when I was told in the flight 5406 that I had plenty of time!!! not to worry!!!"

Cons: "Got a notification of a TWO HOUR DELAY departing SFO. Rebooked into Charlotte instead of Dallas to connect to Fort Myers. THAT flight got delayed AFTER the doors were closed by another 45 minutes which caused me to miss my connection to Fort Myers AND have American Airlines leave my bag in Charlotte. I rebooked into West Palm Beach to drive to Fort Myers and my bag stayed in Charlotte even though there was ANOTHER 45 minute delay to change a tire on the plane. If I practiced medicine the way the airline handled customers, I'd kill every third patient!"

A TSA? agent had us initially wait in a long incorrect line after we picked up our passport scanner sheets even though we told her we had a tight connection. Afterwards, she moved us along with a few others. That line could have swamped us!"

Cons: "On a 10+ hour flight that you're trying to stay awake for, some sort of entertaining is near mandatory. Neither mine nor my boyfriend's TV worked. Even after the crew reset the system twice, they still didn't work."

Pros: "Nothing. Flight was late, I was bumped out of my seats that I paid extra for. The seats we had wouldn't recline. Boarding was announced in 5 minutes so lines were formed and we boarded 35 minutes later as we had to wait for one extra cabin crew member. We got charged toe all our bags (see SWA). There was human waste in the bathroom."

Pros: "Never again. I had a connecting flight with a one hour layover and almost missed it. The plane to charlotte was very late boarding. Once i land I rush to my gate because I only have 20 minutes before they start boarding ; I get to the gate and have to wait almost an hour. At this point I still havent eaten because I am waiting around by the gate and the attendants are not communicating any information. Then they finally tell us that the reason the fligt hasnt boarded was because the flight attendant misplaced her luggage in the previous flight and was waiting to arrive to the terminal. Now how is that my issue? American Airlines needs to do better!"

Cons: "Return flight was delayed, gate changes unfriendly and unhelpful flight attendants"

Pros: "Everything was good."

Pros: "Movies and music through individual seat monitors were a great idea.The Pilot on our way back was outstanding. He gave truthful and accurate information about delays, was always on the alert for warning us and staff about any expected turbulence."
Cons: "The flight was actual operated by American Airlines, so don't blame Finair. I had to call Finair for a question and they were polite and helpful. The crew on the plane on the flight from Charlotte to Rome were just mean, curt, and generally unhelpful. They did not collect trash or dinner trays for well over an hour after everyone had finished. The Italian gentleman next to us was so disgusted he got up and found the trashcan himself and refused to talk to the flight crew the rest of the trip.It didn't matter because they disappeared after dinner and no one saw them again for 5 or 6 hours. On the flight back from Rome the crew was nice but slack. They skipped all the back rows twice row 34 onwards) when they got distracted during a refreshment service. They also repeatedly told passengers they were out of a specific item on the cart but "you can go to the back and see for yourself if we have any".Customs is out of control. They refused to allow anyone off the plane for over an hour because they had another flight come in "from the islands". Then they yelled at us about calling relatives to let them know what the holdup was. It took 1 and 1/2 hours to get through customs because they made us use the new kiosks then go see a real person and answer questions there too."

Cons: "The pilot didn't show up. A replacement came 1 hour later. Horrible service. It seems that United is never on schedule. They also over booked the flight again........."

Cons: "The flight was canceled and was given another longer flight and had to pay for the luggage twice. Totally disappointed."

Cons: "Absolutely everything about my United experience. The delays weren't communicated well, we sat on the runway for about an hour and the AC didn't come on for about 20 minutes. I'll never fly United again. My flight from CLT was supposed to take off at 3:30pm and we didn't take off until 10:30pm. Never again."

Cons: "It was delayed several times and we didn't leave Denver until 7:43 pm and it was scheduled to depart at 5:19 pm"

Pros: "The flight was good and we arrived on time, despite the fact we left Denver late. Didn't buy any food."
Cons: "The Entertainment choices on this flight were lousy...I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."

Pros: "The front desk was able to change our seats so that my husband and I were able to sit together and we were very appreciative for this."
Cons: "Flight was uncomfortable, too long and they were unable to provide meals and ran out of plastic cups."

Not sure what his position was but he was walking the aisles informin us.the flight was delayed and was directing people where they could place their luggage....not a very professional representative for the aitline"

Cons: "This is touted as one of the newest in United's fleet. I've flown on this plane twice in the last month and the seats are the worst. They are hard plastic (feel flimsy), and have very little padding. The recline is almost nonexistent. Both times I've come off the plane with my backside feeling numb."

Pros: "First off - thank you for putting food back onto what you offer when people fly united. It's a drink and a small snack. It's not much to ask, so I appreciate them putting that back in. I also liked the wifi which allowed me to check where my flight was in the air for free. Overall, I will say united is much improved from where it was - though I'd appreciate some free entertainment."
Cons: "Boarding was a little bit of a mess with our flight. We had a LOT of people on standby that were standing in the boarding lines because no one was communicating to them where they should be and where to go. This is something that should be worked on by them."

Cons: "I did not like having to check my carry on after all. I was told the overheads were full so I could get it in Baggage after the trip. For health reasons I did not want the trip to baggage and I did not want to risk my bag being lost. I drive 3 hrs o the airport and I did not want to drive back or wait 3 days for a lost bag to be sent to me as I have before. The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

Cons: "The only thing I didn't care for is I sat beside a man that was 63 and weighed about 275 pounds and I had absolutely no room to sit. Also I couldn't buy any snacks on the plane because it only took cards ."

Pros: "I requested a wheelchair. My foot is in a boot and I am not suppose to walk any distance on it. I was told there were only 2 wheelchairs and that they were for 2 elderly passengers. I passed 8 more wheelchairs that were not being used. Very rude airport employees. I had to use an escalator and almost fell."
