The food on the flight was good.

The wheelchair assistance was very bad as no one turned up with a wheelchair. The airways really need to improve their service and make sure that whey they offering wheelchair assistance they in fact do it. This has happened serveral times that no one turned up at the London airport.

The flight was great. Business class is the way to go if it’s in your budget. However, the British Airways photos of business class does not quite reflect reality. It’s just a regular seat with more leg room.

The Dublin to Manchester leg of the flight was far friendlier. Food was bad. No service to speak of on transatlantic potion. Couldn’t even get a refill on coffee after one tiny cup at breakfast.

First nonstop flight to Germany - I had 2 seats and could stretch, that was great.

There's only 4 free movies to watch (2 of them for kids) - the rest was 8 euros per film! Ridiculous !! My carry on (the same bag I used for years) was too big for their standards and had to be checked. They did this for free but only the first flight. When I return, they said it would cost me ...?

I booked this flight with some skepticism about this airline as I'd never heard of Condor/Thomas Cook, but decided to roll the dice as it was one of only 2 daily direct flights to Europe from Austin, TX. The first indication things weren't going well was during check-in: I was safely there more than 2 hrs ahead of the flight's scheduled departure and the line was nearly out the door. Not enough agents, or not fast enough. Then the worst part: we left over an hour after scheduled departure. The main reason we were late, (and ended up missing our connection in Frankfurt), was penny pinching cheapness at every turn. General boarding, (they don't have any groups besides, 'special needs', 'those with infants/small children' and 'first class passengers'), wasn't even called until 1/2 hr after the scheduled departure. We left over a full hour late from Austin and they didn't make up much time in the air. One thing this airline clearly does, to bring the customer low fares, is cut corners at every chance. That seeemd to include using the required extra fuel to pick up the speed and make up the time from their late departure. Another annoying thing they did to save money was avoid gate fees by parking the plane way out in the middle of nowhere and bussing all the passengers like cattle to every flight. In Austin, this option wasn't available to them, hence their late departure - likely caused by the fact that they couldn't be at the gate when they needed to be, because it had just been in use or there wasn't a ramp available - I don't know, but I'd bet it had to do with trying to save airport fees. I do know that in Frankfurt it felt like they bussed us halfway to Munich to board the airplane, (a 2-3-2 seating setup, btw. I don't remember the equipment). All this ineptitude and trying to save a nickel ended up causing me and my group to miss our connection in Frankfurt. We were traveling on business and it was crucial we made our connection to be on time to our final destination. If you have anything important to do when you arrive at the end of your trip, if you're traveling with this Thomas Cook brand, Condor, make sure you depart a day earlier than you think you need to depart. In my experience, they won't get you there on time. This brings me to their partner airlines, who were legit, real airlines, but didn't have anything to do with Condor/Thomas Cook, and therefore were not there to be helpful at any level beside the basic service they needed to provide a passenger who they viewed as missing their flight. I saw no Condor presence at the Frankfort airport. I doubt they have help/service desks in all the airports they serve. Lufthansa on the way there and SAS on the way back, were their partner airlines. Being late wasn't an option for me and my associates, but neither was traveling the day before to give an extra-extra day ahead to be safe. In my experience, don't count on this airline.

First, we went to check-in to get our boarding passes, onlyfor the woman at the counter to tell us we were on Stand-By... for the flight we bought VERY expensive tickets for a YEAR in advance, because they overbooked the flight (100% the AIRLINES fault). Then after some panic time had passed, the same woman told us she was able to get us on the flight, like she'd done us some massive favor, but that we would not be able to sit together. (We are a husband and wife that were on our honeymoon). Then, once we are finally on this flight, cramped near all these strangers, we both go to find some solace in the on-board entertainment, only to find out, they only offered TWO movies free of charge. Two movies for a 10 hour flight. Seriously??? Then, we were served some on board meals, due to the duration of the flight. The food gave me food poisoning. This was by far the WORST flight experience of my life. We will NEVER be flying air Condor again. Nor, will I be referring this company to anyone.

The crew was pleasant and accommodating to me, my wife, our 3-year-old and 1-year-old for both legs. The planes were in good shape and everything was on time. The balthrooms were clean and felt spacious. I didn't eat the dinner because we ate a large dinner before the long flight. I did tasted it and it was good. The selections of movies was also very good.

Thw system they use for in flight entertainment was a little glitchy.

Worst flight experience I've ever had and I'm 70+ years old. In Dublin we were diverted from JFK to Hartford due to "mechanical problems" and told we'd be met at the gate and provided ground transportation to JFK. Approximately 30 others going to either JFK or Boston were told the same thing and joined us on a half empty flight to Hartford. When we landed there was no representative at the gate, no ground transportation provided, and no effort to help us. A little investigation on cell phones revealed both the Boston and JFK flights left on time (and I'm guessing full). Needless to say the customers were quite upset. Some even raised their voices which caused the kid representatives of Aer Lingus to call the state troopers (really). When the troopers did nothing the Aer Lingus reps locked themselves in their office rather than deal with their customers. After 2 hours of waiting for the promised ground transportation we gave up, rented a car, and drove ourselves to our destination at our own expense. We were never provided even a free drink. Horrible. Lies upon lies upon lies. I'll never consider flying with them again
