Cons: "The connecting flight from Atlanta to NY was rescheduled for an hour and fifteen minutes later, boarding for the delayed flight started late, closed doors were another 20 minutes late, spend another hour or so waiting for confirmations, during which no AC is on because of a malfunction on the plane with the electricity unit. Due to rough air conditions, no in-flight service, or very limited one - and all of those are fine by me, and not the airlines' fault at all. But then, during all these unexpected conditions, I can't even use the in flight entertainment system as i use Bluetooth earphones, and to get earphones I have to buy them for 2$. To earn excellent service, inspite of all the delays, AC malfunction and unpleasantness all you had to do was give those 2$ earphones for free. I have another flight with SkyTeam coming up and I do hope it won't be as unpleasant as it is a much longer flight."

I was going to bring it to the attention of the crew after seatbelt sign was turned off, but once the flight was in the air, the noise of the plane/flight was so deafening that I could hear the music anymore, and neither would the crew if I had bought it to their attention."

Cons: "The plane was terribly old and decrepit. None of the television screens worked, the airplane was dingy, brown, worn out looking and just overall gross. This flight was operated by a company called Privilege Style, and while the crew was fantastic everything else was terrible. The food was pathetic and nasty; they served breaded chicken that was so soggy it resembled a used dish cloth. It came with soggy oily vegetables and a cake that had condensation all over it. The only redeeming thing on this flight was the free Polish beer (it was warm). The flight we took going to Poland was on one of their new Dreamliner planes and it was amazing! We were so disappointed with this return flight as it was a stark contrast to the wonderful experience we had coming to Poland. I hope in the future they can discontinue use of these older planes, as it makes flying much more aggravating."

So obviously it took a long time to get all those people through the check and we departed very late. Then sat on the tarmac for an hour and forty five minutes. The pilot said it would be 15 minutes and then never gave another update beyond that, which made it much worse."

Pros: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"

We had to go to the ticket counter for them to clear it up and put us back on the flight. The flight itself was not bad. The flight attendants are a bit rude and condescending. The seats and entertainment was not bad."

Cancelled our outgoing flight hours before it was set to leave; notified us via email; barely got re-booked via different airlines and had to take 3 different flights to reach out destination; missed the 2nd flight because LOT put us on a flight that was departing 30 minutes before out 1st flight arrived. 2. When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

Cons: "Many people on this flight were bothered by the fact that their families were split up all over the airplane and no one could sit together. During boarding there were groups of people who had all been split up and were desperately trying to switch seats with others. I was traveling with a 15 year old, and even though she is not a small child it was very nerve wrecking to be seated 20 rows behind her, not being able to keep an eye on her (even more so because she gets car sick and has thrown up on airplanes before). I don't think I've ever flown where my group was not at least seated in pairs. This was very disappointing."

Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Then i had to spend the night in NYC and was unable to go to buffalo unitl the morning after having spent already the whole day in the airport since my first flight didn't take off until about 5 hours after it was scheduled. And now I still do not have my bag, and jet blue says they never got it from LOT airlines"

During the flight, intercom announcements overrode the Entertainment System at FULL VOLUME - EVERY TIME. it is as though they wanted to maximize our discomfort. I would not fly with Lot again."

But the staff was rude and did not inform us about when or if we would be leaving. When asked about missed connections, said they know nothing and the transfer desk will handle that. I was travelling with my cat, so for me it was super stressful. Once we did arrive to JFK, there were no more flights to RDU that night and it took forever and then some to get me a hotel that would accommodate a cat. Just fly another airline."

I have trouble flying and took 3 sleeping pills so I can fly comfortably and now the woman woke me up and I couldn't fall back asleep so she can eat? So horrible. 30 screaming kids on the flight. They served food while I slept so I called the flight attendant 7 times to now bring me food since she woke me up. She never showed up. So no only was I now up, couldn't fall back asleep because of the screaming children but I am SO glad the person behind me are her mean comfortably"

Cons: "given that Air Canada's computer had crashed and flights were cancelled (including our own), the lack of information was astounding. Why, e.g., didn't anyone go along the queue handing out numbers so people could get food then reclaim their place in line? Why weren't we told, ditto, how long this mess would take to clear up? why weren't we offered o/n stays, etc, etc. Could have done an awful lot better if some manager had spent two minutes thinking!!"

Cons: "Not impressed with luggage fees that were not indicate but hidden in price - and all the nickle and diming on every little thing.. ruins the overall experience"

Cons: "Our luggage didn't scan in the system so we couldn't go to the gate until it was found & scanned in the system. Fortunately we were early so this wasn't an issue but kept us waiting at "step 2" until an actual photo could be found. We also had a delay after boarding while they changed a tire. It all worked out ok."

Cons: "Mad dash thru Monteal airport to make connection after 30 minute delay. Rep just before customs had a bad scanner and couldn't scan my boarding pass on my phone. Sent me back to find an Air Canada rep in customer service. That rep's scanner worked, and then they had a five minute discussion about it. Had to go back thru passenger scanning. Flight's gate was changed. Finally got to gate, flight was delayed, no updated information. Another 30 minute wait on the tarmac. Flight attendant in business class didn't do a cabin check before take off, man next to me continued phone convo during taxi-to-take-off whilst two gentlemen in front of me had their seats back for take-off. Bad service."

I wanted to simply cancel the flight that I was automatically rebooked on; however, I have been on hold with customer service for HOURS and can not get through. Cons: "The flight was originally delayed by 30 minutes.. reasonable considering the high winds in both NYC and Toronto. Things started going wrong after we boarded the airplane and then were told the flight crew had not yet arrived from LGA. There is simply no excuse for airlines not keeping sufficient standby crew capacity to minimize these issues. This is a clear case of the airline under staffing at the expense of its customers. By the time the flight crew arrived we were just barely able to make the 8:45 wheels up time for our clearance. The flight to LGA was uneventful until we landed. We were then told our gate was occupied by another plane, a delay that was initially forecast to be a few minutes turned into what seemed to be close to an hour. As a result, I arrived home to my Manhattan apartment at least two hours later than I should have. Flight delays happen, I accept them when they are for reasons that cant be avoided... I look for other airlines (such as united) when they occur for entirely preventable reasons and result in back pain from being trapped in an airline seat for 3+ hours instead of the 1hr 15 or so I should have been stuck in the seat."

Given a seat first in the exit row and naturally had to have that changed as I could not assist others. Placed even further back in the plane. It took the full three hours plus since deplaning the Austrian Air flight to get to the Air Canada gate."

Pros: "My flight was cancelled suddenly and my luggage are lost. I stayed at the airport until 4.am."

Pros: "On December 20th I flew from Vienna to Toronto. It was the first time I flew with AA. I fainted a couple ours into the flight and the cabin crew took care of me and made sure I was okay for the remainder of the flight. We also made it to Toronto half an hour early! Would fly again!"
