When the last cart came by I asked again and was treated rather bruskly of course I was just too “hangry” to care. First truly horrid trip I’ve ever experienced. This was not a full flight. Not sure what the heck was up but I’ve never been so glad to get off a flight."

Cons: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Who is going to bear the loss of money and mental torture that your team has given to me and my daughter???? My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

I have been to the USA many times and I totally understand this type of interview, but the agent was aggressive, asking questions that were totally irrelevant. She did not even care about why I was going to the USA or where I was staying. Se was rude and I was really unpleased by her attitude saying it was British Airways way off doing interviews. Again I have had many interviews before flying to the USA, never been a bad exerience before"

Cons: "I've had flights canceled before, but clearly American Airlines/ JFK is not equipped to manage. American Airlines online hung up on me after 24 minutes of being on hold. I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

Pros: "Why would a jet this size wobble all the way across the Atlantic! The pretzels were even stale, and they served a "pizza" that was a stale mini loaf with sauce and a little mozzarella. People were starving when breakfast was served. The thermostat fluctuated from horribly hot to freeing - for 14 hrs. The crew slammed things down on table trays, grumped, were giving harsh orders to patrons rather than gently directing them. These ladies do not enjoy their job. I am done with Delta. We were also an hour late taking off due to a door on a cargo hold not closing. I was embarrassed that our Aussie friends experienced this as their first American flight."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

Cons: "First leg delayed as was the flight getting there. Had to rebook flying all night on 3 flights with 2 children. My daughter saw that second original flight out of San Francisco was also delayed. We went back to customer service and got back on our original flight arriving home later than planned but if we hadn't of noticed it we would gave been 4 hours later getting in and transferring from 3 planes. Blamed on sf construnction...why would you 's hedule a flight into an area that is under construction. Huge delays of all planes really made me wonder what the heck united is doing. No confidence!"
Pros: "Very nice flight attendant!"
Cons: "They must have changed my seat multiple times. Originally i was given the first seat. Then changed to 11d. However when i scanned my boarding pass the lady indicated i was in an exit row. 11d was of course occupied. So i moved from seat to seat in the exit row (8) until i finally got the only empty seat which was presumably mine."
Pros: "Flight attendants were very courteous and professional. And things ran very smoothly. My only very minor issue was regarding the captain. First of all, he got us there safe and sound with very little turbulence and on time; however, usually on those cross-country flights, the captain often announces interesting geographical features as we fly over them. That didn't happen and I missed it. Well, I was a geography major and I am a teacher, so from my perspective, it seemed like a missed opportunity."

Cons: "So short that somehow I didn't get a cup of water..I know they started to serve it but maybe they missed our row, maybe turbulence ended service by then.. I don't know why but I was overheated and very thirsty."

Cons: "Was seated next to an obese woman and had to share my seat with her because of her size. I paid full price for a seat but only got to use 75% of it for a 5 hour long red eye flight. Very uncomfortable and very unfair"

Cons: "The day we were to return to San Francisco United cancelled our flight making us scramble to get another flight. Thank goodness for Alaska. They got us a return flight and went to Seattle instead of San Fransico. United and San Francisco is a joke. Never again."

Pros: "I have no complaints. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Flight left right on time and we even arrived in Cleveland 30 mins early. It was a full flight and was even overbooked, I volunteered to take another flight to provide room but then it turned out I was able to take the last seat. Small but clean airplane."

Pros: "5 zones with specific lines make so much sense! Worked well. The seats were some of the smallest I have ever had, so not impressed and since I am tall, a bit of a deal breaker. I am normally a delta fan, so won't be switching anytime soon. All else worked fine...a short somewhat turbulent flight so no water/drink service, which is understandable."

Cons: "Delayed flight missed connection and had to a different flight then a two hour bus ride. Delaying my day by 6 hours. Also the gate changed without any announcement or communication via email or text by the airline."

Cons: "I booked a window seat weeks ago. UA somehow put me into a middle seat without notifying me. The 737 seating space is very tight. There is no entertanment to talk about; you pay for everything via directtv."
Cons: "The plane was late, the gate was changed after being brought to the first gate by wheelchair, the plane interior did not smell fresh. It had an unpleasant lavatory smell."
Pros: "Long day flying already. Many flights to CLE were delayed, but ours was cancelled. The staff was kind enough to get my mom a seat on another flight that day, which was good as she was out of medication after traveling two weeks. 3 of us had to fly standby. The staff said we would automatically be added to the next flight's standby list if we ddin't make it. That was bad information - it didn't happen."
Cons: "Disapointed with the service and lack of accommodation after our flight was cancelled."

Pros: "Crew nice and friendly."
Cons: "Free in-flight entertainment should be offered on all flights of 2+ hours through the United app. Had a family with young kids next to me who would have benefited from it (I saw the father trying to connect to it through the app), and overall it would make the flight a much more pleasant experience. After boarding a full hour later than what was originally said, it would have been nice to kick back with a movie for the flight."

Cons: "Flight was delayed over six hours. No explanation was given as to why and the flight was supposed to arrive at 6:45 and we got in at 12:30. Poor service at the gate and then we got on the plane and sat on the Tarmac for an hour with no explanation again. The air wasn't on and not drinks or snacks were offered for our wait time. a disappointing way to end an otherwise great weekend away."

Pros: "Crew was excellent, flight attendant welcomed us with a big smile and helped us with priority boarding with infant."
Cons: "Being a small regional aircraft it was missing on board wifi or entartainment."
Pros: "The plane didn't crash"
Cons: "I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience."
