By the time it was served during the flight it had turned to rubber. This was all together a dreadful experience. We missed our connecting flight in Los Angeles and Avianca airlines provided no help on that. ."

Cons: "At take off water from the AC unit started Pouring my seat and my boyfriend’s seat (window and middle row 32 seats K and J). We sprung up to check to see if a water bottle from the overhead compartment was leaking. We were immediately yelled at by crew to sit down because it was take off. They didn’t see the water that was pouring down on us (from where they were seated) and other passengers were also trying to explain to crew members water was pouring down on us- luckily there was no one in the isle seat so we were able to shift one seat over. Otherwise we would have had to sit with water pouring down on us for 30 mon. The crew came over and said they could switch out the seat cushion. But that did nothing really because our clothes were totally soaked and it smelled bad from the water from the AC. Water also go on our electronics (headphones, iPad and phones) So it was a horrible 8 hour flight back to Los Angeles. Really sucks - I was a fan of Avianca - now I’m not impressed with how they maintain their planes or customer service for passengers who get soaked by their plane’s malfunction."

I did not like that I had to offload some of my belongings out of my checked luggage. This was especially inconvenient as I had to deplane in Guatamala and go through their customs and security procedure all to get on the same plane 3 not so easy to get to gates over. And me with a broken toe, you can see how this would be not fun especially because I did not have any boarding pass or other information even telling me what gate I should be boarding at. It was really a small miracle that another passenger found someone to ask and I overheard the gate #. Stressful."

Cons: "It was late and then I missed my connection, and an Avianca employee told me there was a later flight from LAX to PDX (at 11:45 on AlaskaAir) which I would be put on. However, once I arrived I was told I was on a 6 AM on Delta with no arrangement to get me a hotel or anything. I bought a separate ticket on that 11:45 flight on Alaska Air to PDX instead. Extremely unhappy with this service and will never again use it. I will also tell everyone in my social circles, in person and online, to stop using it."

Cons: "Copa cited some airport restriction on number of people they could accommodate on the plane due to weather and how this was handled and processed by the ground crew was just terrible. This affected a number of passengers -- 30 or more, by my estimates. And it started with the leg from Panama to San Francisco not checked in automatically and getting placed on standby. The call center did not offer a suitable explanation for the airport's weather restriction. As a frequent flier on the Star Alliance, I have not seen a situation handled as poorly as this. The ground staff seem very poorly trained to handle what seems to be a frequent situation. And despite most affected travelers being there early with a layover began to resolve this only 45 min before the flight. My appetite to fly Copa from San Francisco has vastly diminished. And so has the desire to fly through Panama City, if weather is as fickle as they say it is."
Pros: "I was bumped from an overbooked Copa flight and was offered another that would get me home at 1am (rather than 3pm) or an overnight stay and a flight the next morning. Instead of trying to find a way home from the airport (a 1+ hour ride) in the middle of the night, I opted to stay in Panama overnight. Copa put me up in a very nice Sheraton in downtown Panama City with a pool, several restaurants, a casino... They gave me $20 per meal I'd be staying for (lunch, dinner, and the following breakfast), arranged a shuttle to and from the airport, and, the best part, a $1000 voucher for future flights with Copa within the next year - enough for two more round trip flights."
Cons: "Communication was minimal or false. When I checked my bag, the agent told me that I was being placed on standby because of a weight limit on the plane. She assured me that the flight wasn't full and that I would absolutely get a seat. When I got to the gate, there was minimal information available, but about 12-15 people were on standby, including two families of 4 and 5 people. The agents were ill-informed and didn't immediately explain why so many of us were on standby and whether anyone would make it on the plane, or what the other options were for those who wouldn't make it on the plane. Eventually four or five people boarded, another few got moved to a later flight, and 6 including me were put up in a hotel. Betzy, a gate agent for Copa at Tocumen, was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and informative with all of this."

They randomly select people who get pulled out of the boarding line, even though I already had an online boarding pass. They cite something in the fine print that says you can get kicked off a flight if you don't check in at the front desk with the gate attendants 90min. before the flight. Again, I already checked in and had a boarding pass on my phone. After getting kicked off, the service continued to be poor and they blamed those of us who got kicked off for being 'late.' All of us were there in the terminal well before boarding."

I told them if they didnt put me on the next flight, I would miss my cruise in panama and they were still not helpful. They told me they couldn't do anything to change my flight because I booked through kayak. They ended up putting me on the next flight and I still barely arrived at my destination on time and I had to spend 150$ extra because my transport in panama had already left me. I had to walk all o er ago to see if there were any flights to panam from other airline because they didn't want to admit their mistake and put me on the next flight. I had a horrible experiences with copa on my way to panama and on my way back. Their people were unfriendly, rude and not helpful at all. They give no greetings, they lie about planes being full and my suitcases arrived cracked. Worst and most stressful flying experience I ever had!! I am still infuriated and would like some kind of reparation or action taken because I had to stay 4 extra hours at the airport, spend extra money and they gave me the most stressful experience ever while flying. Oh"
ATAM Airlines by far the worst experience I ever had flying. Total disaster from beginning to end. Employees were beyond rude. When you call customer service with simple baggage questions they tell you to ask at the airport or check with your agency. Checking the same documents for every connecting flight, instead of doing it at the beginning of your flight and stamp all your boarding passes. Avoid lines and unnecessary contact with others by making long lines to check the same documents they already checked. If I can avoid this airline, I will sure do so and tell others to do the same.
Alaska Airlines was well run. They were also helpful and were positive even though flights had been cancelled. My flight was on time👍

Pros: "First of all, all of the information regarding the flight listed the carrier as Latam. However, the flight was actually an American flight. Based on the confusion I missed my outgoing flight. Thereafter I purchased a oneway ticket to Medellin on another airline only to learn that they cancelled my return flight. They wanted to charge me almost $600 to rebook! I ended purchasing a ticket with different carrier. Money paid to Latam was wasted."

Cons: "One of my bags was damaged on the direct flight from Santiago to Miami. It looked like it had been dragged down the runway. I showed this to Latan representative Angel Pupulin in Miami who's first statement was, "Latan is not responsible." He was rude and initially refused to even fill out a damaged bag report. I explained that I would call my credit card company and put a non-authorization on $2500 worth of tickets. He continued to speak to me in Spanish although I told him, " No habla Espanol." He spoke English but was trying to jerk me around in every way possible. This is not going to be ignored! One employee screwed up all the positives of multiple flights with Latan. I will avoid flying Latan in the future and will not recommend Latan to others."

Cons: "Everything. We booked flights a half year in advance yet they forced a couple of us to upgrade to premium in order to get seats. They then separated one of the couples with premium seating without notice so some other couple could sit next to each other. Their website didn't allow us to use an electronic boarding pass. Its cumbersome and uninformative. Some of the attendants are incredibly rude."
Cons: "A death in the family cause us to change our flight , they were not accommodating and were extremely insensitive. Try your best not to use kayak or Latam."

Cons: "A very rude boarding agent insulted a young man from another country who was boarding in front of me. He misunderstood that they wanted him to check his luggage instead of carry it on. The agent yelled at him and shamed him in front of other passengers. United strikes again!! Seriously folks, you suck!"

Cons: "I always feel a bit crowded in United flights, the seats are very close. Tried to used the free inflight entertainment and it didn’t work in my computer, which was a bummer. The arm rest was sticky."
Cons: "The day after my flight I received an emailed receipt of the the customer in front of me of her lunch order, I’m sure it was an honest mistake but to me paying attention to details like that is very important. There was no personal information on the receipt, I was just wondering on how it was emailed to me instead of her."

Cons: "So, we'll start with boarding. Why airlines can't figure out to board the plane from back to front is beyond me. No, let's load front to back so everyone has to uncomfortably shove past the people who have already taken their seats at the front of the plane. Then you get back there and all the overhead bins are full because everyone takes as many bags as possible onto the plane. Then you have to sacrifice the already tiny amount of foot room, "to put the bag fully underneath the seat in front of you." At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United."

Cons: "The United mobile app as well as my emails stated that the gate was B3. Upon arriving at gate B3 and attempting to board, I was alerted that I was at the incorrect gate. The gate was switched to C11. However, my app did not alert me nore did it reflect the gate change. I didn't receive a text or email update. I had to run to the different concourse nearly missing the fling."
Pros: "The crew that bothered to show up were fine, not overly friendly as they SHOULD have been due to the extreme delay."
Cons: "I checked in online and printed my ticket a few hours before my flight, so I was dropped off at the terminal where my gate was supposed to be. THEN after I get through security, I find out my gate has been changed to another terminal- one for international flights. I had to walk for 30 minutes with my heavy carry-on to find the correct gate. Then the flight was so incredibly delayed because a flight attendant decided to just not show up for work. So unprofessional! If the flight had been delayed because of uncontrollable conditions, then that would be another story, but come on! A flight attendant not showing up for work? That's pathetic."

Very unhappy with United and would not do this again. SAS was great. United did not honor our ticket for Premium economy purchased through SAS."
Pros: "Didn't fly to San Diego-got rerouted to LAX instead. Had I continued to San Diego I would have landed almost 6 hours later than my previous arrival time all because of delays at the gate in Harriaburg. An original 30 minute delay from weather is understandable, and by the time the aircraft arrives you'd think they'd be ready to deplane and get it rolling quickly. Nope, not all. I think it was amateur day in Harriaburg because it was like no one knew what to do and nobody could make their minds up."

Cons: "The pre-boarding staff were rude and not helpful. I had requested an aisle seat when I booked my flight. Somewhere along the line, my seat was changed to a middle seat. When I asked the staff if I could switch to an aisle seat to help accommodate my sciatica, they told me, "sorry, we can't help you, you'll just have to ask another passenger." Neither crew member was willing to work with me or hear my concerns. So much for flying the friendly skies...well I guess we were still on land, so may that principle had not yet taken effect."
Cons: "I have flown with United on many occasions, several of which were international flights however I was never more uncomfortable on a flight than I was in economy on my flight from ORD to SAN."

Pros: "Another flight were maintenance became an issue to the point we needed a new plane. What I love about United is that it only took an hour (and not 3+ hours or a total cancellation) to find a new plane and bring it to the gate after they ran into problems. I also love the happiness and relaxed crew after a passenger started an argument and fight with another passenger. They handled it extremely well and made sure that every one else was comfortable."

Flight attendants should be monitoring this as it defeats the purpose of flying exclusively on United and premier status, which includes the benefit of getting off of the plane quickly upon arrival. whoever thought the ratio of eggs to oatmeal meals is completely off base. At least 7 more passengers would have preferred eggs, but were told there were no more to be offered. intercom is way too loud, esp. if you have earbuds in - we can hear you through the earbuds, esp. when plugged into the console when we'rer watching movies"
