The seats were old and uncomfortable. The plane was old and had the drop down video screens. This was terrible- we couldn’t see the one closest to us, only the one further away. But any words on the further one, we couldn’t read. The staff on the plane were rude and made us seem like we’re a bother and unwelcome. We were scared to ask for anything.

The arrogant employees at Gov. Valadares didnt tell me they were sending me to another airport making me miss my conection flight in the process. This information was disclosed only after I asked if the flight was on time because I had a international flight to catch at my final destination Sao Paulo - GRU. Instead of helping and apologizing for the hassle, the attendant said that I had to pay for my carry-on (that was 10kg) because I had another hand bag with my laptop in it. I said that I would not pay, and that Azul should return me money first for not delivering the service I purchase - which was the flight from Governador Valadares, MG to Sao Paulo, SP (with a quick stop in Belo Horizonte, MG). Instead they were making me miss my international flight, and besides not taking any responsibility for it, this woman is telling me that I had to pay for a carry on?!? I was mesmirized by the lack of sense of this flight attendant. After telling me that I was going to get in Sao Paulo at 9pm instead of 5pm, and that I would have to run to get a bus to another terminal and hopefully make it to my international flight that was at 10:20pm, she insisted I’d pay. I told her that if she could get me to my destination at 5pm maybe I wouldn’t mind paying, but since that wasn’t the case, and I’d have to run to try to catch another flight because of Azul Airlines, that she should really think about it and let it go, and let me go with my bag as a carry on. She gave me the ticket, and as I grabbed my bag and went towards the bus, she threatened me, saying that in Ipatinga and in Belo Horizonte (my first conection flight) they would not allow me on the plane with the carry on. Since the non-sense continued I just took her as a mentally disable person, and ignored her threat. A full bus and 2 vans headed to Ipatinga (100km away in a dangerous highway), packing the flight there, really making me think that this non-sense was just a way Azul Airlines figured out to save money in fuel. The flight was completely full, the AC not working properly, and with the heat and humidity people were smelly. It was absolutely awful. The flight attendants in Ipatinga (way nicer than the ones in Gov. Valadares), distributed water to the passengers that looked like they were about to faint, the ones sweating profusely, the elderly and the kids. By the way, the carry on bag was not an issue at the other airports. Once in Belo Horizonte I noticed that my original Azul flight from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo at 3:30pm as 1 hour and 15 minutes LATE. I run to the gate and explained what happened and after crying out loud was able to convince the Azul attendants to let me in on that flight so I wouldn’t miss my international flight. They made me wait until last minute but I cried: this is the flight I had a ticket for. It’s only fair you let me in! So they did. And I made my other flight. But not before I got upset, had a headache, stomach ache and felt demoralized by Azul staff.

The seats were certainly comfortable. I enjoyed the ability to sleep and not be disturbed.

Agent asked if I wanted to upgrade to Business I thought for $49.00 which was incredible. When I checked my account it was $499.00 there really is no way to say 49 and 499 and make them sound the same. I am really upset that he doesn't know the difference between the two.

customer service on the ground at Viracopos and Ft. Lauderdale service during the flight - Viracopos although still being finished is 100km from Sao Paulo but easily reachable by bus (LIRA) via highways Anhanguera or Bandeirantes. The traffic is significantly lighter than to Guarulhos the major airport in Sao Paulo and therefore shorter time wise. It also offers connecting flights to major Brazilian cities.

delay at take-off which nearly costed me my connecting flight confusion at Ft. Lauderdale at baggage claim ( this was minimized by the Azul staff). No clear information provided by the airport staff and lacking of postings

Everything was fine except the flight was delayed an hour. No biggie. My only question is that I had a trip that passed through Isa to 3rd country. At check in I was informed that bags would go all the way through without re-checking in. Turns out bags had to be re-checked in at first entry to usa. I wish the rules were consistent and that all personnel knew the rules. Also united baggage track app does not work.

The arrogant employees at Gov. Valadares didnt tell me they were sending me to another airport making me miss my conection flight in the process. This information was disclosed only after I asked if the flight was on time because I had a international flight to catch at my final destination Sao Paulo - GRU. Instead of helping and apologizing for the hassle, the attendant said that I had to pay for my carry-on (that was 10kg) because I had another hand bag with my laptop in it. I said that I would not pay, and that Azul should return me money first for not delivering the service I purchase - which was the flight from Governador Valadares, MG to Sao Paulo, SP (with a quick stop in Belo Horizonte, MG). Instead they were making me miss my international flight, and besides not taking any responsibility for it, this woman is telling me that I had to pay for a carry on?!? I was mesmirized by the lack of sense of this flight attendant. After telling me that I was going to get in Sao Paulo at 9pm instead of 5pm, and that I would have to run to get a bus to another terminal and hopefully make it to my international flight that was at 10:20pm, she insisted I’d pay. I told her that if she could get me to my destination at 5pm maybe I wouldn’t mind paying, but since that wasn’t the case, and I’d have to run to try to catch another flight because of Azul Airlines, that she should really think about it and let it go, and let me go with my bag as a carry on. She gave me the ticket, and as I grabbed my bag and went towards the bus, she threatened me, saying that in Ipatinga and in Belo Horizonte (my first conection flight) they would not allow me on the plane with the carry on. Since the non-sense continued I just took her as a mentally disable person, and ignored her threat. A full bus and 2 vans headed to Ipatinga (100km away in a dangerous highway), packing the flight there, really making me think that this non-sense was just a way Azul Airlines figured out to save money in fuel. The flight was completely full, the AC not working properly, and with the heat and humidity people were smelly. It was absolutely awful. The flight attendants in Ipatinga (way nicer than the ones in Gov. Valadares), distributed water to the passengers that looked like they were about to faint, the ones sweating profusely, the elderly and the kids. By the way, the carry on bag was not an issue at the other airports. Once in Belo Horizonte I noticed that my original Azul flight from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo at 3:30pm as 1 hour and 15 minutes LATE. I run to the gate and explained what happened and after crying out loud was able to convince the Azul attendants to let me in on that flight so I wouldn’t miss my international flight. They made me wait until last minute but I cried: this is the flight I had a ticket for. It’s only fair you let me in! So they did. And I made my other flight. But not before I got upset, had a headache, stomach ache and felt demoralized by Azul staff.

Everything was fine except the flight was delayed an hour. No biggie. My only question is that I had a trip that passed through Isa to 3rd country. At check in I was informed that bags would go all the way through without re-checking in. Turns out bags had to be re-checked in at first entry to usa. I wish the rules were consistent and that all personnel knew the rules. Also united baggage track app does not work.

Agent asked if I wanted to upgrade to Business I thought for $49.00 which was incredible. When I checked my account it was $499.00 there really is no way to say 49 and 499 and make them sound the same. I am really upset that he doesn't know the difference between the two.

Azul changed my seat at the gate at VCP arbitrarily without letting me know. That was a seat I had reserved weeks in advance that they simply changed at the gate without any reason.

Nothing!

Azul had a mechanical problem with the plane. It took them 6h to fix it. They made us wait for 6h which made mmost of the people lose their connection flight but azul voided to help anyone! Said that they couldnt be responsible if you lost your connection because My connection flight wasnt with them! I had the worse6h of waiting and trying to have someone helping me. All of Azul’s staff are incompetent laZy workers!

Lauderdale service during the flight - Viracopos although still being finished is 100km from Sao Paulo but easily reachable by bus (LIRA) via highways Anhanguera or Bandeirantes. The traffic is significantly lighter than to Guarulhos the major airport in Sao Paulo and therefore shorter time wise. It also offers connecting flights to major Brazilian cities.

I told her that if she could get me to my destination at 5pm maybe I wouldn’t mind paying, but since that wasn’t the case, and I’d have to run to try to catch another flight because of Azul Airlines, that she should really think about it and let it go, and let me go with my bag as a carry on. She gave me the ticket, and as I grabbed my bag and went towards the bus, she threatened me, saying that in Ipatinga and in Belo Horizonte (my first conection flight) they would not allow me on the plane with the carry on. Since the non-sense continued I just took her as a mentally disable person, and ignored her threat. A full bus and 2 vans headed to Ipatinga (100km away in a dangerous highway), packing the flight there, really making me think that this non-sense was just a way Azul Airlines figured out to save money in fuel. The flight was completely full, the AC not working properly, and with the heat and humidity people were smelly. It was absolutely awful. The flight attendants in Ipatinga (way nicer than the ones in Gov. Valadares), distributed water to the passengers that looked like they were about to faint, the ones sweating profusely, the elderly and the kids. By the way, the carry on bag was not an issue at the other airports. Once in Belo Horizonte I noticed that my original Azul flight from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo at 3:30pm as 1 hour and 15 minutes LATE. I run to the gate and explained what happened and after crying out loud was able to convince the Azul attendants to let me in on that flight so I wouldn’t miss my international flight. They made me wait until last minute but I cried: this is the flight I had a ticket for. It’s only fair you let me in! So they did. And I made my other flight. But not before I got upset, had a headache, stomach ache and felt demoralized by Azul staff.

The seats were certainly comfortable. I enjoyed the ability to sleep and not be disturbed.

Agent asked if I wanted to upgrade to Business I thought for $49.00 which was incredible. When I checked my account it was $499.00 there really is no way to say 49 and 499 and make them sound the same. I am really upset that he doesn't know the difference between the two.

Azul changed my seat at the gate at VCP arbitrarily without letting me know. That was a seat I had reserved weeks in advance that they simply changed at the gate without any reason.
