On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Air Canada gave $200 for a two hour delay to our friends, we were screwed over and offered nothing. So disappointed. I'm 5'7 and I couldn't even rest my head on my knees to stop the extreme motion sickness. I couldn't even finish my flight today because I couldn't stand the nausea and I couldn't rest in a seat 2 sizes too small for a regular sized person. I had to lay down and when it didn't subside I had to find accommodation. I will never fly with westjet again. But thanks you know for the pretzels."

Cons: "We were heckled by gate crew about whether my dog’s carrier was too small for him. Many suggestions were made that we were subjecting him to animal cruelty, and that we were abusive to him. He’s 7lbs, so he can’t be much smaller a dog, and his carrier it turns out, doesn’t fit under WestJet seats, despite being within carry-on luggage dimension limits (their life jackets take up most of the legroom), and thus could not be any bigger. Did they want me to have a smaller dog, or a Euclidean space-defying carrier? I suppose they were suggesting that taking a dog aboard WestJet is abusive, because they certainly don’t provide adequate space for anything larger than a hamster, they hassle you about it, and they charge you $50 for the fun of it. One agent had the nerve to reach into his carrier without permission, unannounced, and invade his personal space, him being a rescue and very anxious."

What's worse is each time we ended up spending about 20-30 min slowly driving around the runway since the takeoff queue was backed up so much. It seems more often than not these days that flights are delayed and are totally unreliable. I've come to hate flying."

Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Cons: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Pros: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

Cons: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."

Cons: "Sitting in the middle two seats in the center of the 777 left me stuck for most of the flight. Got up only once. Wife's feet and ankles were swollen by the end of the flight. Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."

Pros: "The flight crew was excellent in accommodating the passengers. One specific flight attendant was very patient in dealing with a continuously demanding passenger by being helpful and firm at the same time; a difficult combination of skills."
Cons: "The ground crew in CDG was very disappointing and unprofessional and very specifically in the luggage area. When I was told that my carry on luggage exceeded the allowed weight I argued that my luggage was weighed in Cairo and that it was less than the 12 Kg allowed weight. The Air France attendant then waved with annoyance to speak with her supervisor. When I approached her supervisor, who was speaking with another Air France employee, she looked annoyed and said just just to to booth #7 or 8 that handles excess luggage issues. My reaction is to avoid traveling through CDG in the future and I will focus on flying with Lufthansa."
