End of a long ordeal... I slept the entire flight
The AC in-flight staff are always very nice. It was a pleasant flight
The extra $50 seats were roomy.
Flight was delayed and no one knew why!... Plane had been sitting ready at the airport for hours. Novice flight attendants, they each picked on different things others missed just before them. No consistency, seats left reclined during takeoff and landing for example. One way there was drink service once even though it was a smooth flight and the return had drink service twice even though it was bumpier! Entertainment does NOT work on androids, it is NOT the AirCanada app they tell you to download prior to the flight, it's an AirCanadaRouge.pk file that needs to be downloaded in flight! Which means we're stuck paying for the iPad and of course only with cc because there's no wifi for debit cards.... AC needs to stop this insanely mediocre and yet expensive monopoly.
The movies and entertainment offered in the screen were alright.
We were delayed over an hour because flight got in late from Halifax, I get it, stuff happens. Then once boarded we sat there for another 45 minutes. The pilot comes on over the speaker and explains we aren't leaving because the crew didn't have the proper paper work in the cabin...
Our flight from Toronto to Houston was cancelled. The staff at the arrival counter was very slow and rude. We wanted to leave by the United flight which was leaving in an hour or so but the supervisor was not willing to do anything. We ordered Asian vegetarian food and it was horrible. Never again Air Canada.

Everything else. Check-in was horrendously slow, customer service nonexistent, they checked in our carry on so they could charge for overweight, and I was forced to board while I was waiting for food only to wait a whole another hour before we actually took off. Flight was delayed 1.5hrs

Comida, pois nao da pra comer feijao preto no cafe da manha junto com omelete, sistema de entretenimento que nao funcionou por quase 3hs. A equipe tambem parecia nao querer atender os passageiros.
They had good movies in the plane
There were two runways in Mexico City and one was under maintenance so it took a long time from the moment we landed to the time we were able to get out of the plane. Then, they took our check-in luggage from the plane and it went through an inspection (bag by bag), so this caused another hour delay. After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future.

Gross food, ended up in the safety exit seat so couldn’t have anything with me.. not even my pillow and the seats can’t recline. Most uncomfortable flight ever ...
