Alaska, in my opinion, is one of the best airlines. I have flown them for 30+ years and watched them grow from a small NW carrier to the size they are today. Day-in, day-out they are very good.
My experience with Alaska Airlines was great! Crew are always friendly and attentive. Alaska Airlines goes out of their way to make guest feel appreciated.
My issue is not with Alaska for but with the travel agency. The fact that i can't change my flight online, means that using you as a travel agency is a net negative. I only do it because I am forced to, but I am not happy about it.
The plane was delayed almost 3 hours. I had a first class seat and there was no food loaded due to the late night departure (no nuts, not meal and no cookie), and the first class bathroom was out of order. Truly a disappointment all around.
Advertise the fact the passenger needs to bring own headset for entertainment. I traveled first class Seattle to Miami. Five plus hours without any entertainment. I was not impressed! Food was lackluster and quite boring. So much so I cannot remember what I had. I decided to cancel the return trip and flew on Delta instead. I can still remember the meal, beef short-ribs with mashed potato, onion gravy, and beautiful carrots. Stay away from Alaska Air!
Compared to Delta, the entertainment provided by Alaska Airlines was substandard. Use your own device with no ear phones provided.

I needed special assistance to the gate and from the gate to the street, and Alaska staff were wonderful - responsive, helpful, and kind. I really appreciated it.
Negotiate better gate locations- Gate 20 in San Diego felt like a 3 mile walk
My bags didn’t make my connection to LAX. It would be helpful if you alerted me to that in flight— I waited an hour (from midnight to 1AM to discover they weren’t on the carousel. Your spei on the flight says “20 minutes or miles credited” and I waited and hour!
Mechanical delay > Crew Time out. No communication to passengers. Crew time out was positioned as a surprise (even though it must have been know at the time of boarding that the crew would time out.
Aside from the little delay, overall was flight good. Made it safely. Thanks!
American Airlines flights are always delayed for some reason. It took 9 hours today from Atlanta to Austin. I will go back to Delta.
Crew and agents misguiding on tight connections, and lack of connecting crew looking for inbound planes. A very avoidable missed connection as a result.
Over the course of 7 months of travel, I can count on my hand the number of times the flight has departed on time. Majority of the instances have been related to non-weather reasons. Would not recommend flying this Airline
Boarding was awful - no order, people cutting in line, completely chaotic Planes are very old and uncomfortable. Noticeable difference between Delta and United on same route.
The planes can use an actual cleaning. The armrest and seats do not appear to be cleaned on this one and most other planes.
Delayed flight due to maintenance and I have had multiple delayed flights due to maintenance in the last month plus
Movies on my phone are great. It would be nice to have a gluten free snack option.
