Pros: "My experience with American Airlines was horrible I was on flight 1357 and me and my husband started boarding the plane my husband stopped so put the bag in his seat the flight attendant Sonya #695655 taliago Portuguese was very nasty rude and disrespectful and came off very racist she told my husband to sit down and move out the house as he was placed in his bag on top of his seat then when my husband told her he was placing his bag up over the seats she asked to see his pass his boarding pass then he told her he just wanted to put his bag up over the other seat because there was no more bathroom over his seat she argue with my husband after my husband left the situation alone she then comes in with another flight attendant who was more Ruder than her it was a 20-minute delay with the both of them yelling at us and threatening to kick us off the plane then didn't offer us any drinks or snacks she kept giving my huaband nasty looks the whole 4hours she was very racist and I would never take American Airlines again experience was horrible"

Cons: "Many of us (15+) on this small plane lacked seat assignments. That meant we all had to wait in a queue at the gate for them. They started boarding the plane before they issued any seats assignments to us (we all had confirmed reservations, and we weren't in a group or anything). Then they decided that the premium fliers ought to get the empty 1st class seats, so they had to get in front of us in the queue to change their seats. Anyway, the boarding was essentially finished before they issued any seat assignments. In the end, they gave me two boarding passes for my son and none for me, but the lady was nice enough to just send me through (I was in the system in a seat, apparently, but the printed card had gone missing somehow). Once on the plane, the cabin and ground crew were quite pushy in hurrying everyone to get strollers packed (yes, there was a guy with a baby wating for seat assignments). It didn't affect me at that point, but it was really rude. It just takes time to get children on board, and it was the airline's fault they weren't boarded first. BTW, the flight was operated by American."

We were not informed of what was going on until we had already been waiting for 30 minutes. When they informed us of the delay they offered everyone free direct TV in flight to make up for the delay. Once we finally took off they announced that the direct TV was not actually working. The flight attendant making the announcements was not sincere and rather unprofessional. Luckily the pilot flew fast so we ended up arriving only 10 minutes late."

I watched the attitude with some other guests as well, so realized it wasn't just me, but how snarkily short she was with people about their luggage and such. If you're not enjoying your job, then quit and let someone younger and fresh come on board to create a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone."

Was very uncomfortable because of this. Excepted more CLASS for what I had paid. This is why I am unable to give this flight an "excellent" rating. Disappointing."

The fact was the crew maybe had an hour left on their shift they made it up came back told everyone to talk to customer service while everyone was doing that the crew clocked off. When we came back they saI'd the plane was fine and that we had wait for another crew. That crew we waited for another two hours. They to clocked off and went home. I don't know of there isn't any overtime or anything but you are losing money to shady crews like this one. I'm never flying united again."

Pros: "I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd."

I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

Cons: "I waited in line to check in for 45 minutes or so. No-one was at the desk. A customer ended up finding a security guard and asking them to find a Frontier employee. They paged for one over the loud speaker. How embarrassing. A woman started checking customers in, with the attitude of the century. She was angry, rude, and just plain nasty. This should not be the face of Frontier. When friends and family ask, "How was your flight?" All I can picture is that woman and her pinched tight frown of a mouth, angry grimace of a face and condescending hateful tone. Good day."

However, I do realize that it was not any of the crews fault. With that being said, I loved how informational and informative and polite the flight crew was. THERE WAS A WOMEN WHO HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HOME FOR 3 DAYS. So you obviously had screwed her over and now you were about to screw all of us. Now I will say yes I am very upset with you at Frontier. But I was not about to take it out on the people working at the airport. The companies practice of overbooking is unexceptable during this time of year, Easter weekend, and not saving a seat for a women who has been trying to go home for three days. I am very upset and my ticket was very overpriced. Specially for how I got treated, due to he overbooking. Now they had one seat saved/ left over and because I kept my calm and didn't yell at your workers inside he airport they offered it to me. But if it was not for my calmness I would not be home with my family. That right there is unexceprtable!"

On the flight you have two pay $2 for a small glass of water, not a bottle but a small plastic cup filled primarily with ice. When we landed we had to wait 45 minutes before the checked baggage began to arrive. Overall this is a very poor airline. Watch out for the fees as they charge you $20 for each airline interaction. I would suggest avoiding them if you can as the price rapidly rises above your ticket cost & the hassles for basic services are not worth the cost."

Terrible experience, wasted time and money. I did not feel valued as a customer."

Furthermore, after one of my flights was cancelled due to weather, I was informed that the soonest Spirit could fly me out would be 3 days later. Understandably, Spirit is a small airline, so I'm sure this was not uncommon. When I asked to be transferred to another airline to leave sooner, I was told that Spirit was not responsible for getting me to my destination any faster. A woman at the 'help desk' then took a leisurely 45 minutes (while my flight was boarding) telling me that buying any other flight would cost me between $2,000-$3,000. Spirit airlines is treating their customers like credit cards to be swiped. The self-centered money-hungry culture throughout Spirit will surely be their downfall if swift action is not taken immediately."
