It took them three hours to accomplish that. The hot food had been delivered on time to the plane, so that also sat for three hours. By the time it was served during the flight it had turned to rubber. This was all together a dreadful experience. We missed our connecting flight in Los Angeles and Avianca airlines provided no help on that. ."

Cons: "Probably one of the most tedious flights of my life. Unexplained delays while sitting on the tarmac and not allowed to get up to go the bathroom because “we could be leaving any minute”. Repeated indications that we were cleared to move, and then no movement for another 15 minutes before assuring us they were cleared to move. Everything about this airline, from check-in to boarding to taxiing to deplaning to baggage claim felt like it took 60-80% longer than it had to, with no real customer service to be found. This is an airline that does nothing more than provide passengers with a way of getting from point A to point B, eventually; getting there on time, or in comfort, was clearly a luxury their airline was not positioned to deliver. First and last time flying Aeromexico, especially with Internet, Volaris, and other carriers plowing the same routes."

Cons: "On June 29 Aeromexico Flight 2683 arrived in Mexico City airspace and the Captain informed the passengers that the plane would have to refuel in Alcapulco due to inclement weather in Mexico City. The website https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/mexico/mexico-city/historic reports NO inclement weather on that date or at the time that AM 2683 was to land. I observed partly cloudy skies from my window seat as well. The ground crew in Alcapulco was unprepared for AM2683 and the fueling was delayed. After doing so, AM 2683 landed AFTER my connecting flight AM 684 was scheduled to depart at 1:05 AM on June 30. A female connection agent met me at the baggage claim and informed me that that AM 684 had not been held and had departed. The female agent was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. In fact, she had taken a personal cell phone call at the connections desk prior to assisting passengers of AM 2683 which lasted many minutes. She escorted us to the Aeromexico counter where I waited 30 or more minutes to speak to a representative. The representative at the Aeromexico counter informed me that there were NO flights to Quito until 1:05 AM on July 1. I asked if she could book me on another airline and she informed me that because the delay was weather related Aeromexico had no obligation to accomodate me. She booked me on AM684 for July 1. I asked where I was to wait for the next 24 hours and she said Aeromexico had no obligation to pay for lodgings. She gave me food vouchers for the airport. I immediately logged onto Travelocity.com and found a Copa Airlines flight to Quito leaving that afternoon which was in fact OPERATED BY AEROMEXICO! I booked that ticket myself and waited in the Mexico City Airport for 14 hours. What would have taken 10 hours took me 22."

I needed to add my 2,4yr old to my trip.The Aromexico agent wanted to charge me over 1000.00 for the two children, to travel with me even though online the tickets were $200.00.They would not let me book my tickets online because the children were minors even though my ticket was already bought. I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

When we got to Mexicothey sails our liggage was not there because we were in the wrong terminal. No one spoke English but it was there because we were on Delta. When we left almost went to wrong terminal. If it is Deltal call it delta not Aeromexico."

Cons: "People started to line up at the gate an hour before the flight as instructed. This is inconvenience to as it would be more comfortable to be sitting for that time. Yet the boarding process was much slower than other carriers. The crew was professional but not so friendly. The food and drinks were not served until an hour and a half after take off, half way through the flight. Food was not very good a croissant with a small piece of meat and a small slice of cheese in it. Once service began, those of us seated in the middle of the plane could not get past the carts for at least 30 minutes to use the restrooms. Overall, I expected more from the country's principle carrier."

I was not allowed to board flight since I have Indian passport, why was a ticket been issued if people with Indian passports are not allowed to board a flight.

Nothing! everything could have been better. again, the tsa workers were horrible. They had bad attitudes, cursing passengers and a general LACK of professionalism. In my future travels, I will not be transitioning through london, and none of my future travel plans will include london. If there agenda was to prevent Americans from visiting there, they succeded.

I think AA uses the pandemic as an excuse to give first class passengers stale and cold food…

Nothing happens while you’re waiting in the terminal, then they pull you aside from group 2 as you board and before you know it you’re boarding back in group 5. If security used the time wisely, they could check 10x more people and not screw up the boarding process."

Cons: "Being late and I missed my next flight. I talked with the customer service to book me on next flight from Dallas to London. They did that and told me that they moved my luaggage to the new booking but didn’t happen and I was going around in London looking for my luggage."
Cons: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."

Cons: "Leg room/space BA offers is calculated for short and small body frame passengers and it is on not acceptable. It feels like cattle Wagon. BA should show consideration for real passengers not some sort of statistical average. I am 6'4" and sitting in your plane's cabin inflicts hours of body pain. The space given is sufficient for children and teenagers. Also sitting in the hot cabin for extended amount of time is extremely uncomfortable. Why there is no cooling and proper air ventilation right from the beginning?"

I didn't use the online entertainment as I had my kindle with me but my daughter said hers was good with a lot of choices. Food a bit too spicy for me but everyone else seemed to love it and I'm very picky and plain with what I eat. Loved the foot rests on the seats. Can;t complain. I'd use them again."

The little touches like being greeted with a glass of wine or water, having proper silverware with the main meal really mitigate the general misery of long haul flying. The main meal is really quite delicious as well. You also get provided with socks, toothbrush, mask and nice headphones."

The coffee that came with the box lunch was fine but if you wanted cream you were out of luck. Instead a tiny amount of milk was provided. At least you got some caffeine!"

Cons: "Boarding process for coach from London to Dallas was chaotic. After all the various special groups were loaded in an orderly fashion the other 80% were called en masse which was disorderly. We had a lot of turbulence which the captain never addressed. I get he has to fly the plane but he could give folks a heads up on how long it was anticipated to last. It's scary at times and a word from the expert would be calming. Bathrooms ran out of toilet paper."

Cons: "The plane didn't leave OMA gate for over an hour. A repair needed to be made, and there was a huge long delay in getting a hold of maintenance to fix it. Then there were problems with the fix. Once it was finally fixed, the paperwork had a mess up. We didn't leave until at least 2:52 pm. Then, when we landed, the elevator for the luggage that was valeted stopped working for 4 minutes. I was nearly late to my connection to Paris. Instead of a 1 hr 55 min layover in DFW, I had 7 minutes from the time I finally got my suitcase to the time I got to the other terminal to board."

Yes, daytime flight, but did the lights have to be on the whole flight? Had 6-8 kids in 10-15 year range that were running around the whole flight, maybe if the lights had been at least dimmed they could have settled down so the other travelers who would have liked to sleep could... Food servings were smaller than usual, but since it was also unusually uninspired and tasteless I guess that was ok. Plane was dirty (visibly so on, f.ex. the sides of seats, traytable, and bathroom) and it was not just from the ongoing journey but from previous flights."

The temperature was never addressed during the flight. The flight crew with one exception could not have been in a worse mood. For example whenever they needed to tell people what the choices for drinks are they gave a big sigh and rolled their eyes. it seemed as if they had been working for 36 hours without a break and they had to smell trash the whole time. I am very unhappy with the way american airlines handled the british airways scheduled flight and i will make sure to not book with them again."

For auch a short flight it is annoying the number of announcements, mainly because you have a 30 to 35 mins flight and you music or movie stop for every announcement. They announced a drink service that never happened (understandable for such a short flight, but don’t bother me from sleeping or listening to music or watching a movie with and announcement we have to disregard) The crew was good… I feel bad for them having to push the credit cards so hard (also annoying) I did like the video of the safety features better than the old fashioned presentations

The flight was fine. I didn’t have any food or drink, but I believe they offered the usual cookie or pretzels and standard beverages. The crew was very friendly. The seats - like seats on just about all airlines - are a bit cramped - but I was relatively comfortable and the plane was clean. I’d fly American again for sure.

So much fun to be delayed 3.5 hours so you land at 12:12 a.m. CT and then discover there are planes stacked on the tarmac but no open gates. We’ve been sitting in a hot plane for 1:20 and have no estimate when we’ll get a gate. This was poor gate management by American Airlines and DFW. Every AA flight I am on of late has been problematic at best.

Plane smelled a little funny. Flight was 30 minutes shorter than expected, but gate was occupied when we arrived. Staff was great.

I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well."

We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

I missed my flight literally by 3 minutes. There was no one at the gate to help me, AA staff kept telling me to go to different places, getting a new flight was INSANE. Cons: "Shock to see pillows and snacks were on sale. Even more surprise when my carry on was weighed with my purse yet others boarded with more than 20lns limit. Stick to your own rules especially since I ended up paying $60 to check in language that was 5lbs overweight."

Cons: "Between almost making us miss the flight because they couldn’t identify or scan the boarding passes THEY printed out (which were just little stickers on the back of our passports with no information), the flight was over 45 mins late! Additionally, the pilot said it was flight 911 to Los Angeles and then laughed and corrected himself to flight 900 - are you serious? Not a joke."

Cons: "Tried to pre check a day before the flight using Volaris app and wasn't able to complete the process, as the app was timing out and it was forcing me to buy a seat in the plan, which I wasn't interested in. It seems to me that the airline is trying to nickel and dime you in every opportunity they have as they wanted to charge us 50 USD extra as our carry on luggage was under the 22 LB restriction but our backpack added 2 pounds. I have never seen an airline that is weighting each and every passengers backs and purses during the boarding process to see how much more money they can get per flight. Also, I found it kind of funny that after take off the flight attendants were selling the empty seats in the front which didn't had more leg room (not first class) but were just closer to the cabin. You are already charging for sodas, CAN YOU JUST STOP THERE?"

Cons: "The system to check your baggage in wasn’t working and they had us standing in line for 40 min and when it finally started working, they couldn’t cope with so many (angry) customers."

Flight attebdants did not bother to say thank you or one smile but talk to others of their own i find it rude!!!! I asked fkr water, brought to me 10 min late and was not cold or fresh in a plastic cup???"

Cons: "Kiosks in Mexico City on the way back were closed in the middle of the day. There was no one to talk to or get my boarding pass. Horrible old planes with tiniest seating. Never again."
