Pros: "Early flight, and short. I think I slept through it. Woke up sore, but eh I'm not surprised by that. I'm a giant and no one woke me up for anything so I was satisfied."

My girlfriend and I got in our seats and 10 minutes later, a crew member walked back and asked us to get off the flight. We got off the flight and were met by police officer. Low and behold, the woman sitting next to us said that she believed we were intoxicated and feared for her safety. I am a police officer and my girlfriend is a nanny/preschool teacher. Not very threatening. The officer on the ground looked us over and asked us a few questions and determined we were not intoxicated and we were no threat to the other passengers. The airline asked us to get back on the flight and we would be sitting in coach because the woman adult children were now sitting in our seats. I told them to book us on another flight with the same seats that I PAID for or put us back in OUR seats on that same flight we just got kicked off of. We were escorted back onto the flight and the crew asked the woman's children to go back to their seats so we could have our seats back. They then asked us not to speak to the woman sitting next to us (which we never did to begin with!!!) and then told us we could have free food and drinks. The whole experience was insanely embarrassed and I can't believe that woman sitting next to us can get away with what she did. I am absolutely livid that they would ask us to get off the flight and then give our seats to the woman's ADULT children without vetting the situation and making the easy determination that we were NOT intoxicated. So embarrassing!!"

My connection to Denver went smoothly,however the flight attendants on Air Alaska need to be more courteous and friendly."

The family next to me had 9 bags in the over head. There were two adults and two children 3 and 4."

It causes masses of people in the walkways, and makes it hard to walk through, or get out of the way for others. It may not be the airline's fault, but as I said, it detracted. I don't remember SEA being that overcrowded on previous trips. Our incoming flight was delayed due to weather. Again, not the airline's fault, but we were told we'd be able to make up the time and be on time in DEN. We were still late."

Cons: "Boeing 767-400ER seats had no leg room for 6'+ traveller like me. The entertainment system was so old that there were no 115v outlets or USB ports. On a 7-hour flight, that is a significant problem for travellers today with multiple electronic devices. Finally, we were not told in advance that we had to go through security twice and through US Customs BEFORE leaving Dublin. So, the 6-hour layover at JFK was a complete waste of our time as we did not have to go through Customs there."

We arrived fine which mean the flight was successful but it was not very enjoyable."

The flight was delays almost 3 hours and I was not able to make my interview which was the whole reason I flew to Denver in the first place. I understand that things happen but now Im out of a possible job that I was interviewing for and I am also out the $250 that I spent on the flight. The flight was delayed because they didn't have a crew to fly the plane which blindside is always 20/20 however it seems like pretty poor planning."

Cons: "In purchasing the ticket from your website, the price does not reflect comparative like and kind price comparison. If a carrier charges for a carry-on, this should be displayed as part of their price and a buyer should not have to go through a drop down menu to find out. Further, when I arrived at the airport, there was no explanation of this charge other than the kiosk, where I was not required to purchase. After dropping off my bag with the front desk agent at the airport, I went through security with my personal item and carry on. When I get to the gate, I find out not only do they enforce this charge, but they actually raise 50% from the front desk to the gate and the agents had no absolutely no desire or power to give me the $40 price. When directed to their website to purchase, the site was unresponsive and I was unable to purchase at the $40 rate. I was forced, literally forced given the fact I wasn't going to be able to fly home otherwise, to pay the $60. This matter is going to the state attorney generals office in Texas and the Better Business Bureau. If that does not resolve, I will be working on a class action lawsuit so all victims of this price gouging can receive compensation."

Cons: "The reason why it's so cheap is that they charge for everything. For some reason the site combined my first and middle name. I noticed when checking in and was prompted to change it. I was then showing a $400 balance even though I had already paid for my ticket months ago. I called customer service and they luckily updated it for me. The person then proceeded to tell me if I check a bag, bring a carry one, or want to choose a seat, there will be a charge. $60 just to bring a checked bag (27 lbs by the way) round trip. I opted not to spend even more money on the carry on and seat. I've seen other airlines charge for seats, but they're typically upgrades and you can choose another available seat for free. Not Frontier. If you don't want to pay the site tells you it will choose a seat for you. I don't know what the point of checking in 24 hours in advance is juat to be put in the last group no matter what. Speaking of seats, these were plastic, tiny, and uncomfortable. Speaking of uncomfortable, the plane felt like it was going to fall apart with even a hint of turbulence. Overall not great and I may have to go elsewhere for plane trips in the future. But that's up to Frontier."

The astronomical baggage fees were a complete surprise- they were nearly as much as our tickets. And why charge us for the same bags there and back? They charged for picking your seat, they charged for a soft drink,though we think they likely waived the fee for breathing their stale air. The staff, historically great, were short and clearly frustrated with what their roles had become, with looks that shared our incredulous stares of bewilderment. We used Twitter to voice our frustration and though they replied quickly, they said we could negate a percentage of the fees if we joined a new but obscure program... which of course charged us more fees. So sad to see our favorite airline reduced to this impractical, impersonal money-grubbing caricature of corporate greed."

Pros: "The flight was very inexpensive, so that makes up for a lot of things I didn't enjoy. You have to realize you are flying a budget airline, something that is newish to the USA. Europe has had them for a while and they are just the same, point A to point B, super cheap."

Frontier only offered to accommodate me by reducing the cost of changing my flight from $110 to $75 and get me there a day late. Their customer service is the worst. I will avoid flying with them again, if at all possible."

Then when I arrived at counter they said the flight was closed. And even though it was 25 minutes before boarding I was out of luck. The rude counter person said I should have been there 3 hours before the flight and now all they can do is reschedule for another day and it will cost an additional $100. Fortunately there were about 10 other people in a similar situation as mine and it became overwhelming for the counter people and they started issuing us tickets. This caused 10 of use to rush to security yelling we only have 10 minutes to get to flight. Fortunately all the people in line were understanding and TSA did the best they could but it still took time and probably stressed everyone out at security including TSA. This was just a money grab by Spirit airlines. Any other airlines an electronic ticket would have issued to my phone and I could have entered security at terminal A, caught skylink to Terminal E for my flight and been at gate 30 minutes before departure. This ridiculous policy of locking me out over an hour before the flight caused a great deal of stress to myself, the spirit counter crew, the TSA, all the other airline passengers waiting at security, and all the other spirit passengers who were gamed by Spirit airlines moneygrab. I intend to file complaints with Better Business Bureau, FAA, and Homeland security. This was totally unnecessary chaos!!!!"

Pros: "The flight attendants were friendly and the airplane was very clean. The space underneath seats was roomy enough that I could easily fit my bag. Flight was very affordable, especially for a holiday weekend."
Cons: "I did not like that I was forced to create an account with Spirit to check in for my flight. I have never had to do that with any other airline, and the experience was frustrating. I also would appreciate if they would give water for free in flight. I understand their policy is to require customers to pay for extras, but water would be nice. There was also no explanation about which security line to get in when I bought the "bypass security" option and no one to ask when I arrived at security until I had gone through the full line. An explanation when the ticket is purchased would be helpful."

I also was unable to get to the airport earlier so I was required to buy a flight through Southwest. The boarding gate area was packed, and there was no place to sit and even stand to wait for the plane. I also found it astounding how there were no complementary beverages or snacks on the flight, and I had to pay for a drink of water. Every other airline on the dozens of flights I have been on gave us beverages and snacks for free. Also, there was no entertainment on the flight whatsoever. Not even a magazine or anything. Overall a terrible experience, and I will never fly Spirit again if possible, and will certainly not recommend it to anyone I know but will instead spread the word of the horrible airline company that Spirit is."

Seats are very tight, unless you pay for an upgrade. Need to fly fast and don't need luggage, or expect basics like nuts and a cup of soda, then Spirit may be a cheaper carrier. Add the 'ala carte' items-like luggage-and the fare becomes average."

Pros: "The comedian crew member on this flight was absolutely my favorite part of the trip. He was entertaining and incredibly positive thru out the 4.5 hour tarmack stand still. His charisma and wit kept most of the passengers and crew members on point. He was just a happy go lucky guy with a good heart. Kudos to him!"
Cons: "Mother Nature was not kind and the humans closed down the Denver airport, avoiding any threatening interactions. It was most unfavorable being stuck on the tarmack for 4.5 hours, being charged a lot of money for crumby snacks, however I am grateful that I am still alive and did not have a more tramatic plane experience (aka a crash landing accident due to lightning). Over all, it was a pain in the butt, waiting to hear about updates (taking hours at a time to decide), and then getting redirected from Colorado Springs to Denver on a bus. My friend whom was picking me up from the airport was inconvenienced as well, but we tried to be positive about the whole experience. I don't ever want to fly with Spirit again, but because it was so inexpensive, I just rolled with the punches. You get what you pay for..."
