Flight was delayed and we were left in the plane with planed turned off, took so long to get to destination and luggages were lost. Such a hectic travel
I've been loyal to Alaska Airlines for nearly 25 years and before the merger I had much better benefits. However, since the merger with Hawaiian Air, you've bumped me from group A to B or C and I now get poor selection of seats in the back of the plane.
After we boarded there was quite a long time before we actually took off, and there were no announcements from crew about why we were delayed. Later when they did make announcements they were largely inaudible. There was no food (other than for purchase) on the flight and no entertainment. Thats not a complaint, just explaining my ratings in those categories. The flight was smooth. Baggage claim was rapid.
Jammed up security line. Security personnel excellent but facility is really cramped and lines long. Alaska Airlines was excellent.
On time would have been a hell of a lot better!!
It sucks, flight delays at FAT caused us to miss a day at lodge and overnight in Seattle. Flight delays coming home also. Never again
First leg good. Second leg returned to Juneau. We opted to return to Anchorage.
It was an ok FLight only due to the plane was a different model than on the first leg. Just a bit older. Otherwise very good.
This rebooked flight lost my luggage. I had to purchase clothes and toiletries.
Worst communication. Delayed boarding for two hours without a single announcement until hour 1 had passed - on time status showing until our flight was supposed to takeoff and the crew had already walked away. No one was boarding. Disgusting part of DFW overcrowded with no AC on a 97 degree day. Then the first app update is that we’d take off in 15 mins… but again no one had boarded a full flight. No announcement in the terminal so everyone is just crowded around a disgusting place with no info for over an hour which turned into two. This was an overfill flight and a disgrace to passenger decency all while likely just trying to fix their own issue of overbooking. The worst airline at the worst airport.
The flight was delayed almost three hours. I understand delays happen from time to time, but this flight was delayed no less than 10 times. I wish the amount of time of the delay was more accurate, versus delaying in 10 or 20 minute increments many, many times.
boarding announcements werent clear/loud. Tired of those cookies. Of the 3 staff/attendants, 1 was good and the other 2 were mediocre.

This flight was of course delayed because American cannot have flights that are not delayed.
I sat at the airport all night from 8 pm until midnight. The airline kept delaying the flight. They also kept moving us to different gates - 4 times. Then they told us we didn’t have a pilot so we had to wait. Then they cancelled the flight at midnight! I ended up having to rent a car to drive home. So i ended up not even being able to fly on the flight i paid for. Ridiculous, and no agents could help at all. I will not ever book this flight.
Mechanical delay > Crew Time out. No communication to passengers. Crew time out was positioned as a surprise (even though it must have been know at the time of boarding that the crew would time out.
Upgraded to first class. I would consider the first class on that plane to be only slightly more comfortable than coach. Long delay.
How is it that every American flight from DFW to IND is significantly delayed? This is the third time in two months I have been delayed flying out of DFW - ALWAYS for a maintenance issue. Makes me want to drop flying American altogether…or maybe flying through Dallas. Miserable experience.
Initial flight had an engine overheat - returned to DFW. Had another plane ready, but crew timed out. Had to wait 5h for boarding. Fully boarded and pilot says plane is not flight worthy. Deplane and go to the other end of the terminal. Wait an hour to board third plane because the crew couldn’t leave the second plane because no wheelchairs were brought to remove passengers. Finally take off and there is no catering (in flight service) even in first class. Very much an AA failure.
