Cons: "I was a passenger on a Frontier flight from DIA to TMA on 5/13/2018. My luggage was checked and a tag indicating the bag was to go all the way to the final destination (there was a stop in St. Paul, Minnesota) was securely placed on the suitcase. However when I arrived at the Trenton airport my bag did not. There were no Frontier airlines agents on duty so I filled out a form given to me by one of the airport staff. When I checked the Frontier website today it said to fill out a Frontier Lost and Found report. Upon doing so I received an email saying finding a lost bag could take weeks and that after a month they consider the bag permanently lost. No offer or process was provided for compensation for lost bag or the items within. This is unacceptable! I had prescription medication in my bag that's not easily refilled."

Cons: "The flight was overbooked due to switching to a smaller aircraft. When my family boarded the airplane, we went to find out that the row we were booked into seats (31) did not exist on this plane. The rows went to 30. My parents and aunt who are elderly had to wait standing at the back of the plane until the stewards found us new seats. Before we boarded the airline they announced that they were overbooked and were asking for people to voluntarily give up their seats. When we boarded the plane, there were about 8 stewards in training on the flight. If the airline had oversold seats on this flight, why were those training not held back for the next flight instead of making their customers wait?"

Pros: "While TSA made me late for my flight by 5 min after having arrived with more than enough time for any normal airport. They made sure I was on that flight and they were amazing! I would mark them down for the food and entertainment but it is a budget airline and I knew this going in. If you want a flight with the extras included you're gonna have to pay more for the ticket, so it all works out in the end to be the same. I upgraded to the package that included all my bags and seat selection and it was still cheaper than any other airline I looked at."

They passed out a handful of breakfast voucher then stopped until about an hour later they gave the rest of us our vouchers."

I felt like they where going charge me for walking down the isle, using the bathroom, walking down the ramp. There customer is over seas and sucks. They service sucks. Plane taxied toward runway for takeoff, then recalled to gate to pick up a crew member. So, a 2 1/2 hour delay occurred anyway. A total clown show!"

Cons: "I booked a flight with Frontier based purely on the price difference vs. flying a real airline. This was a huge mistake- due to weather in my connecting (not destination) city, I was told I would be stranded for the next 3.5 days. The only way to get to my destination was to book a flight on a different airline on less than 10 hours' notice. I am familiar with low cost airlines (Spirit domestically and RyanAir in Europe), but the entire experience was pathetic and made me seriously regret not paying a little extra up front to fly a real airline."

While waiting on the runway apron for the third hour of delay, 5 American Airline planes took off, passing NK742 at the runway holding line. Spirit pilot stated that he had to get approval from someone before in Spirit's control to authorize. Duh! If other airlines can take off there is no reasonable answer that Spirit can provide for a delay like we experienced. This will affect my selection of airlines in the future."

She was sarcastic and rolled her eyes when I told her I would just like the bottle of water with no ice. The flight attendant was back talking other people on the plain and when someone in my row complained about her, she came and confronted her in a very unprofessional way. She finally went away when the women told her she would take it up with the airline."

Cons: "Weather problems first delayed the flight a couple of times and after a long long period of waiting in the airport it was cancelled. No control over the weather. However- with a only single Spirit representative person at at the counter helping all the others similarly affected- I waited about 2 hours in a very long line to have my flight rescheduled for 30 hours later. She was very professional. So, there was not enough staff to handle the problem and there were not enough planes or other flight options to handle the problem in a timely fashion. A 2 and 1/2 flight took me about 30 hours. Spirit works when it works... great for short flights, ususally! But it sure did not work for me this time and I will never fly Spirit if there is any time constraints or I can see any potential problems with getting to where I need to be in a timely and comfortable fashion."

Cons: "The website wouldn't let me check in my bag prior to arriving to the airport. Tried multiple times and kept getting an error. Spoke with an agent upon arrival, showed her my screen and she suggested I do it again. Which produced the same result. They ended up charging me the online price anyway, because it wasn't working. I had two rather large folks in my row and immediately asked the flight attendant if I could move, he told me maybe, but probably not until after take off. He then moved two other folks into the row adjacent to me which caused the original gentleman sitting there to get up and move to a row without three people in it. Seemed kind of rude for him, he offered me his seat since I'd asked. I declined as I figured the attendant would get back to me. He did approach me later and said I could move into the only other open seat in the other row, but I didn't want those folks to feel put out. I was going to ask to move to a different row adjacent as there was only 1 gentleman there, but the attendant had already left. On other airlines, once the door is closing anyone can move or trade and wasn't sure why it was such an issue for me or for anyone. I felt I was hanging out in the aisle for 2.5 hours while touching hips and arms with my seat mate."

Cons: "There were 6+ delays. 3 gate changes. Flight was supposed to leave 4:40, didn't leave til 12am. Spirit said I needed to be 2hrs early for a gate with a 2+ hour TSA wait. There was no wait though. I spent 12 hours at the airport and missed half a day of work because of their poor logistics and bad information. I will never fly with Spirit again. After all of the necessary add-ons it is no cheaper than Delta, etc."

Adding in the fee for a seat, the carry on fee, and the fee for water, I would have been better off with another airline at a higher price. Never Spirit."

I booked through Kayak and wasn't aware of your baggage policy. After the website I said to myself, "If I get through this flight without getting fleeced Ill be happy." and "Never again." but the flight istself was a pleasant surprise."

Pros: "The flight crew was friendly and had personality - that always makes for a more interesting and enjoyable flight. The flight itself went very quickly once we were in the air. It was easy for me to change seats at the gate had I wanted."
Cons: "Boarding took a long time (we waited in line after having our tickets taken for ~20 minutes before the plane actually started boarding). Despite being toward the back of the plane, I had to wait ~45 minutes for my bag to arrive at the luggage carousel."

Cons: "I didn't like the price when I found out- after I booked- that everything was extra and in the end and in-turn spent way more than I would have if I had flown a better airline that at least has seats that recline.. Leg room.. a tray that isn't half attached.. and a complimentary soda. That model may work for some.. but selling the fact that they are cheap and then being forced to pay for every little thing is enough for me to say never again. After it was all said and done.. the price was double what the tickets were.. when I got done with all the extras."

We had a 6 am flight and wanted to sleep and their lights wouldn't turn off all the way. I would never take Spirit again. I would pay a higher price for comfort."
