I was informed that they booked me on another flight to San Diego arriving 10:30pm (what good does that do me when I need to get back to San Jose?!). I called Alaska and was on hold for 25minutes before speaking to an agent. Explained the situation and she was able to help and book me on two United flights on 4/18. I experienced a lot of aggravation on this trip. The only solace is that Alaska issued a $400 credit. That is nice but I would like to get an explanation of what happened here!"

It was disruptive and upsetting to anyone trying to concentrate - took about 5 times longer than need be."

Dorothy modeled the emergency info in such a graceful way... that you chose to pay attention because she made you feel secure. My colleagues and I have all agreed to fly Delta again ( specifically the Atlanta/ Milwaukee flight) Because of these courteous, caring, and professional people!"

Cons: "I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

This is one of the poorer first class seats in the industry. The "lie flat" seat is just that, a lie. It is pitched at an angle, though not as steep as some. Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

I also wouldn't have to annoy my neighbor with trying to move and get comfortable. But instead the exact opposite happened and I'm offended you guys have America anywhere near your name."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

I was put up in a very low class hotel. I aarived in dubrovnik at noon the following day. This caused me great anxiety and aggravation and a losd of a full day of vacation."

Cons: "A 2 hour delay at 9:20pm at night is unfortunate yet frustrating experience, especially when we moved our flight up due to a travel warning for EWR (ironically enough, our originally scheduled flight (1922 MCO-EWR). I'm giving an overall OK (instead of good) due to the fact that there were no snacks (although I did not want anything, it didn't go unnoticed) and although there was free inflight entertainment for personal devices, I feel the passengers should have been given free internet access - in my opinion, it would have been the appropriate thing to do. In any case, this experience doesn't change my positive opinion of United."

The plane was packed solid and it was uncomfortably warm on the flight."

Were any of the "lunch" items available? "No, we only have snack items on this flight." But it's during lunch time... "It's not a long enough flight." WHO COULD MAKE THIS UP? We declined to complain for fear we would be thrown from the plane. Oh yes, I have 1,800,000 miles on United."

A few moments later she came back on reprimanding that "THIS IS NOT A JOKE YOU NEED TO SIT DOWN WITH YOUR SEAT BELTS FASTENED" which was still ok. The third announcement was the one I felt was highly inappropriate when she then stated "I DONT KNOW IF YOUVE BEEN WATCHING THE NEWS LATELY, BUT THERE IS NO WARNING WHEN THE TURBULANCE IS GOING TO GET WORSE" frankly I have been watching the news lately and there is plane CRASHES on the news. My husband is afraid of flying and that announcement was terrifying, even for someone who is not afraid to fly. There has to be some sort of protocol of verbage to use when the turbulance is getting bad, because to insinuate the plane could crash to get your point across is crossing the line. I have been on planes where the turbulance is a lot worse and felt this was really out of line."

There, the staff was a little more helpful and gave us a new stroller (very small, not close to ours, but we used it anyway). I had to call many times until I reach a spanish speaker that showed concern for our problem and finally found our stroller and sent it to our hotel."

I was placed on 2 other flights with 2 other airlines and wasn't notified until AFTER I was already checking in with another airline (this is also after calling the airlines regarding the cancellation, several hours before heading to the airport). Worst experience. Do not recommend."
Pros: "Nonstop flight! Nice and cool on the plane. The movies/entertainment were pretty good. Flight attendants were pleasant. This flight had its own security line at the airport! No waiting at all to go through security."
Cons: "It was delayed about 2 hours. The boarding process was a bit chaotic- partly because of the layout of the airport. The waiting area was small so it got congested quickly when 3 flights were boarding at the same time. Even though United checked us in by group number, we had to board a bus to get to the plane. So, the group number system wasn't really enforced when we actually got on the plane -- more like first come, first served at that point. First class and business class did get to go ahead on a different bus. We also had to climb stairs from the tarmac - could be an issue for the disabled."

Also when we arrived we were on the ground for a long time before we could pull up to gate to unload. I have a 3 yr old & 5 yr old & had to run to make it. We made it but luggage didn't. My first luggage was delivered quickly, the 2nd luggage arrived 3 days after we arrived home."

THEN I found out they charge me for a seat... on the flight I already paid for. Boarding was disorganized, seats were thin padding on plastic, quite uncomfortable. I also had to clean crumbs and trash off my seat before settling in. They charge you 2.99 each for water and airline peanuts; i didn't partake. they only gave me one boarding pass and when I boarded the plane, they said that is was the flight to Denver and then they were continuing on to Columbus. I assumed this meant I stayed on the plane when we landed in Denver, but no, they informed me the plane was then going to Cedar Rapids. I had no second boarding pass or gate number, so I asked the attendant. She took forever to help me, looking up my info for a minute and then talking to the other attendants and passing out papers to the boarding crew before acknowledging me again. Twenty minutes later, I had my gate, which I barely made to board in time for flight takeoff. Overall, the process was stressful, uncomfortable, and more expensive than if I had purchased a flight from Delta, Southwest, or Alaska. (All airlines I have flown and been happy with. Delta had a missed layover once and completely put me up for the night and was very helpful through the whole affair.) All said and done, I will not be flying Frontier again."

Cons: "To start, the app didn't work correctly for check in, so when trying to go through security, I couldn't pull up my boarding pass SO I had to get out of line and go all the way back to the check in line to print a pass. The boarding process was fine, but the seats are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Additonally, every other airline I typically fly provides a drink and snack at NO CHARGE. Not Frontier. A drink, other than water, is at least $2.99. I will do my best not to fly this airline in general and will tell the company who booked my flight that they should consider a different airline in the future."

I booked a hotel room after getting my bags, only to find out their shuttle service wasn't available before 5 am. Booked a second room and another hotel, only to use the shuttle service 5 hours after checking in. Will never fly frontier again."
Cons: "You send e-mail notices to me but I cannot access e-mail away from home as I am not into smart gadgets. I checked at home for flight status but by the time I drove 70 minutes to the airport, the flight was delayed, and delayed, and delayed. Once at Denver, we sat on the tarmac for 4 1/2 hours waiting for a gate. Southwest deplaned people on the tarmac. Once at the gate, we had to wait another 15 min for a jetway operator and someone to operate the TUG/generator. And my consolation prize was a 4 oz cup of water. YIPPEE!!"
