"Seats in row 2 very uncomfortable for sleeping!"

Pros: "Honestly the only thing I can say that I liked was that we got back to Fort Lauderdale in less than two hours."

We were told to arrive at the airport for our flight which was delayed incase our flight left on time. our gate changed five different times. Our flight was supposed to leave from Puerto Rico to Ft. Lauderdale @ 1:30 p.m. the flight kept getting delayed . our flight did not take off until 7:30 that evening. Nobody informed us of anything what the delay was etc. it was handled horribly by Jet Blue staff. We were t offered vouchers nothing."

Cons: "Missed the connecting flight by about 15 minutes, strange that we get delayed for about an hour but the connecting flight can’t wait a few minutes. Currently en route to another airport to spend the night at the airport and then take an early morning flight to my home city. Would have been nice to get a hotel room. I also had trouble with being charged for a second checked bag when I only had a single checked bag, would be great if the customer service help desk could help with that at the airport."

Cons: "Extremely disappointed about flight 1379 scheduled to depart at 0658, 18 Jun 21. Flight departure was moved to 10:30 AM and later to 12:30 PM without giving any reason for the delay to the hundreds of passengers that arrived at the airport between 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM to meet the airlines requirements. Poor performance by Jet blue. Lost of time and money for me. Thumps down. Blue is my favorite color, live up to it."

Paid for front row seat mostly due to covid and he made us seat and wait for people that had a connection flight to exit the plane all the way from the end of the aircraft defeating the purpose of me buying the front row seat at $65 which was more than the seat was worth. The way the crew asked was was very rude because he stated if we stand up he would keep the door closed. I understand about the passengers with connection flight but its Jetblue responsibility to get these people to their connection but it shouldn’t jeopardize me."

Cons: "I didn’t appreciate them questioning me about the comfort dog when all the papers were right in front of the attendant. Also, I had called in several times to make sure I had everything I needed to the last min change in having to bring my dog with me. I was told over the phone that I could have up until I boarded but then got to the airport and was commented about it a few times by JetBlue associates. It is confusing and fairly stressful especially when I called in ahead of time to confirm I was ok."

Cons: "The fact that I was 3 minutes late to check my bag (due to a line and walking to the wrong counter the first time) and they would not allow me to go on my original flight and route my bag on another flight. This resulted in me and my bag getting pushed on two new flights and my overall travel time going from 4.5 hrs to 11 hrs which with a 15 month old is an eternity. Many other airlines will allow you to make exceptions when checking in late (I was still nearly 40 minutes prior to flight departure) and let me still check a bag OR allow me and my baby to stay on the same flight without the bag."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 2 hours because the crew was comprised of members from flights delayed by the snowstorm. Even though gate attendants knew they were on their way, attendants refused to let us board until the crew was all on board. Then we had to wait some more....... Also they were lax on pre-boarding announcements, not letting families with children on first. And waiting until each group was fully boarded before announcing the next. Plus the enunciation of various announcements was difficult to understand and/or way too fast. It wasn't funny."

Pros: "The plane that the rerouted to replace the original plane was very comfortable. The email updates where better then the information at the gate. Normally, I enjoy flying JetBlue however, this weekend's round trip was disappointing. My 1st flight was delayed about 5 hours and the return flight was delayed as well."

(After that long delay) The incident on the plane- the passengers had to take action and not the flight attends when a passenger threaten by another passenger. A good Samaritan came to the woman's aid and ensure she was safe by switching her seat. Prior to this, another passenger had to use her call button to try to notify the flight attends because the woman was unable to. (That was her second attempt to notify the attendants). I am unclear to why her first attempt to change seats was not taken under consideration by the flight attended. The alleged passenger was clearly intoxicated and had fallen on the women. The flight attends did intervened after the flight landed at FLL. The woman was detained on the plane along with the alleged passenger. Once again, I am not sure if that was wise. The woman could have been taken off the plane safely and quested at the gate at a safe distance. The alleged passenger was too intoxicated to comply with the flight attends requests to disembark the plan. I would have liked for the JetBlue flight attends to be more proactive or at the very least to keep an eye on the situation to ensure it did not escalate. This all could have been avoided if the woman's 1st request to change her seat to one of the many available seats was granted. Better ye,t for this alleged passenger to have never been able to board the plane in his condition. It was physically noticeable and the surrounding passengers stated they could smell the alcohol on him. Disappointed!"

Pros: "I loved that the pilot on my first flight introduced himself and staff to the customers prior to loading the plane. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The leg-room! The leg room was a great surprise. No hassle with bags. Great snacks, wi-fi and movies for FREE! I was so tickled. I've never flown JetBlue. I thought it was just another low-cost airline that makes you pay for everything , what a nice surprise! I immediately gave you a shout-out on my facebook account. Best flight experience I've had in a long time. Thank you."

Even the pilot said beautiful weather in ft lauderdale as soon as we boarded. I called the 1800 they said it was delayed to a crew member. Then I asked another car rep she said it was a delay from Cuba. So three different stories and worst experience ever! Then when we arrive the crew wasn’t ready"

Cons: "Booked this flight to get a ride home, and in time for dinner with family. Flight was delayed 50 min. because of a delay in the arrival of the plane (not weather). During boarding process they were allowing people to get up and move around before takeoff, delaying over another 10min. When we finally arrived at 9:10 to the gate, another plane was at the gate and we did not get into the gate until 9:25. Thus, by the time the flight arrived I needed to get other transportation, cost me $25 and additional 30min. waiting for ride. This resulted in getting me home almost 2 hours late. Additional feedback: I book an aisle seat because I like being able to lift the arm on the outside, not available on this flight. I don't recall the plug for the headphones being down so far in the arm rest, thus struggled to find the plug."

Cons: "Over 5 hours in delay due to a maintenance issue. Problem wasn't discovered overnight when it was parked. Wasn't discovered until the next day. Had to wait for the delivery of a specific part and install it. I'm all for planes not breaking upon reentry, but the fact that the two flights were both subsequently delayed 4-5 hours each instead of bringing in a sub plane was inconsiderate. Now I've got a long drive home and I'll only get an hour of sleep before a 14-hour work day. So thanks for that, JetBlue"

Pros: "I fly a lot for work. But today I travelled on Jet Blue for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised with all the legroom. The flight was comfortable and the staff pleasant. I’ll fly them again soon."

Pros: "I like the fact that Jetblue handled the on boarding ot the passengers fast and efficiently starting with preferred riders, then going from the rear of the plane and moving forward. They also realized the plane was full so offered customers the free option of checking a bag in cargo. I would have preferred if they advised customers before checking through security of this option as I would have taken it rather than discard with some bottled products. The entertainment video was great on board, they offered free beverages and snacks. The crew moved through the aisle fast and efficiently when dispersing the food, and again when collect the refuse. While we had a little turbulence, the flight was uneventful and the pilot handled the landing very well. Departing the plane was also fast and efficient, although takes time because the plane was full. Overall, I was impressed with JetBlue, and their flight team."
Cons: "I thought that although comfortable, the chairs and fabric were obviously well worn and definitely needed upgrading. I also noticed that the chair head area didn't have a removable sanitary cover, which I thought should be there considering the number and frequency of change overs per seat on these flights. This is necessary to promote sanitary and comfortable conditions."

Cons: "My trip of a lifetime to Peru (Choquequirao, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca) has been severely impacted because my luggage was not put on my flight. Computer record showed that I did not board despite my boarding pass being scanned and my passport number entered at the gate before I boarded. I left for a 6 day trek to Choquequirao, Peru without any of the gear that I needed for this trip. I had to acquire the bare minimum in a rush the night before leaving for the trek. I'm 10 days into my trip and still do not have my bag. Central baggage claim has been less than sympathetic and not at all proactive or helpful."

Pros: "We had purchased economy tickets and got assigned seats that were not next to each other. As we were boarding the ticket person gave us a new seat assignment closer to the front and next to each other – we really appreciated and liked it. Makes me want to fly Delta again!"

Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Cons: "The flight was delayed. It took longer than expected due to the hurricane. When we arrived, there was no gate so we had to sit on the runway forever. Then the gate checked bags took forever. I was supposed to have a 1.5 hour layover. I barely made my connection as I only had 20 minutes left until takeoff by the time we got off the plane."

Cons: "For the amount of passengers boarding, they started the boarding process way too late which resulting in a delay taking off. The entire boarding process felt sloppy, disorganized, and hectic. They allowed passengers to board that were seated at the end of the plane while some 1 was boarding, causing tons of congestion. The boarding process was the slowest I have ever experienced in all the flights I’ve been on. The crew was ok, but slightly snappy/rude like typical New Yorkers. The flight from ft. Lauderdale to New York was much more pleasant."

Cons: "Delta employee who drive shuttle to connection stopped to drop off a passenger and proceed to chat w other workers thereby getting me to my gate late and missing my connection and getting me to Florida almost 3 hours later than planned. Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Cons: "Out of all the airlines I have flown, this was quite disorganized in my opinion. The fact that I was not able to select a seat, nor did I have one assigned to me until prior to an hour before boarding, gave me a bit of anxiety. I don't think it's fair to take away this option to those that get the "cheap, standard" tickets."

We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

Cons: "Flight from Chicago to Zurich-staff required me to check my bag at the gate and pick it up upon arrival to our final destination in Krakow. The flight arrived late, which made us miss our connection. We were re-routed to Munich and then to Krakow. The bag was delayed 24 hours. The reason I only bring a carry-on is so that this situation would not happen. I have never been required to check my carry-on in the past. It was not a pleasant start to our vacation. I had really been looking forward to flying Swiss airlines as I had heard great things about it. I was extremely disappointed."

I had basic economy which means I can have only one personal bag (which I did, but it is lil bigger then regular women bags) I new it will fit cause I am flight with it all the time if I am going only for a few days and on those cheapest tickets. She gave me hard time telling me that my purse is to big to take on board and was making me to pay for that and the tone with wich she dpoke to me wasn't nice. When I told her that in Chicago they let me go with that bag, she said: "those united employees are not doing there job, if you want to go with it go, but I'll call too ur gates and they will charge you double for that bag" Which noone did, they did not even stoped me on gates, because my bag is perfectly fitting under the seat."

Cons: "I am at a loss for words. I was scheduled to depart from Tampa,Fl July 25th at 5pm. I was able to catch an earlier flight when another airline so I did. I still needed to fly back from my destination from Newark, Nj on Monday July 31. Due to me not taking my original flight United cancelled my ENTIRE reservation and they want me to pay $250 to rebook, which I do not have. I am currently stuck in New York with no money for a return flight, and will possibly lose my job. I am extremely shocked that they would do that. I will NEVER recommend or fly with them again."

Twenty minute delay for boarding and then additional 40 minute ground delay. Flight scheduled from 11:40 to 2:20 p.m. Onboard the flight attendant came through with the food carte. Were any of the "lunch" items available? "No, we only have snack items on this flight." But it's during lunch time... "It's not a long enough flight." WHO COULD MAKE THIS UP? We declined to complain for fear we would be thrown from the plane. Oh yes, I have 1,800,000 miles on United."

I had to sleep (barely due to all of the nighttime maintenance going on) on the damn floor by my standby gate because I couldn't afford a hotel and United refused to pay for one."

The que for boarding was one of the worst that I've ever seen. People would line up for their boarding group way in advance, creating long lines throughout the main area of the terminal, hindering other people trying to get where they needed to go. Not only that, but it took FOREVER. Thank goodness the pilots made good time or else we would have been behind. I doubt I'll fly United again... I guess if I have to, but it will be something I dread."

They either checked for free or brought it on and managed to shove it in sideways taking up space that others needed. Some people brought three bags on!!! As a military spouse I feel cheated to have had to pay when others checked in for free at the gate. Not cool United, either let the spouse check in for free or make everyone abide by the so-called rules of one carry on that actually fits into that metal baggage guide. I would like a refund of 50.00 for the baggage fees I paid for this trip."

Cons: "This was the rudest and most unprofessional airline staff I have ever worked with in my life. I personally watched the lady at the gate check-in desk straight up lie to a passenger who she didn’t like personally. This passenger was late for boarding by 2-3 minutes (yet still 10 minutes before scheduled take off), and when he arrived at the gate the Silver Airways employee informed him that he would not be allowed to load since the door had already shut and the engines were already running. From my seat though, I could clearly see that the engines were completely still and not yet started. When I noticed this, I started paying closer attention. After pleading with the Silver employee in a civil manner, he began to become agitated with the lack of help he was getting. It was the day after Christmas, and the man was just trying to fly home to his family. The plane was still sitting at the gate, but the Silver employee said (in a very rude fashion) there was nothing she could do except change him to a later flight. 15 minutes go by, and the plane finally starts to back out of the gate. The man who had just missed his flight decided to take the Silver employee up on her offer to switch to the later flight, but when he asked, she looked at her computer and said there was no more space available on the later flight. Disappointed and annoyed, the man left the terminal completely frustrated because she had just offered him a later flight that didn’t have any room left. Or at least that’s what she told him. 2 Minutes later, another man approached the gate desk with the same problem, he missed the same flight. This time though, when she looked up the same exact later flight, it all of a sudden had plenty of space. She even asked the man whether he would prefer an exit row or a window seat. I was left completely dumbfounded. This employee had just told the previous man it was full, and now she was printing a boarding pass for this guy. It was obvious that she liked this man more than the last guy, and that’s why she was able to “help”. This makes me absolutely disgusted with Silver Airlines character and integrity. I will never fly Silver again, and I hope all who read this take my advise."

Unfortunately, the Silver Airways representative rudely told me that the airlines had close the doors 15 minutes prior to departure. In other words, I arrived 4 mins after they had closed the doors, and insisted on NOT letting me in. The representative treated me poorly, and was not helpful at that moment."

Sitting in Key West airport I watched Delta and American Airlines depart flight after flight while we, the suckers who booked through United and Silver Airways, sat for 5 hours. The gate worker in Key West and two United Airlines call center workers were completely useless in helping me reschedule the flights that I was going to miss (even with a 5 hour layover at my next stop). The airline blames the entire thing on weather, yet no other airlines were suffering from 5+ hour delays. It's my opinion that early on in the day Silver Airways mismanaged the movement of their aircraft which exacerbated the delays experience by thousands of passengers."

On the one hand you could say they were very quick in delivering the checked bags to the carousel but on the other hand they were totally incompetent because the moment the bags arrive they apparently cart them off to their office and lock them up while their employees go off to do other things. In the time it took us to walk from the gate to baggage claim our baggage had been carted off to the office and we had to wait over an hour for the next Silver arrival to find an employee who could open the office and deliver our bags. Additionally there was never any information about the flight on the screens in arrivals and we had to ask a lady at the FLL information desk for help."

At Orlando airport, the signs for Silver airways are not seen to show where ticket counter is located. I must have asked 4 people before reaching their counter to get my boarding pass."

Cons: "Rude staff, a BUG ON THE PLANE, insane bag charges that increase as you get closer to the plane???? Such a pathetic scam. Also, the fact that you charge for WATER is blasphemy."

Cons: "I didn't like how I thought I could have a free carry on and then I was charged $55 for it unexpectedly. I wish I had known there was a catch you finding such an affordable flight and that in actuality it wasn't affordable because I had to pay for my bag. I feel like there should have been a disclaimer when. I originally purchased my ticket."

Cons: "Competitors such as JetBlue offer complimentary food and drink, as well as Wi-Fi and TV/Movies. These would be great additions to Spirit Air."

Pros: "On the positive side, the flights were smooth and arrival was early. Not sure why it was necessary to clear plane when continuing on same flight, but it was a quick process."
Cons: "The website is terrible, and it is ridiculous to pay for a carry on bag. That changed the cost in a way that would have led us to make a different decision."

Cons: "One needs to allow 30-45 minutes to check-in at the counter. Their process is exceptionally slow. The automated kiosk too my credit card to initiate the check-in but would not accept it to pay for the luggage ... so we had to do the process over with the agent."

Cons: "an hour after our supposed boarding time, we were told that the plane needed to reboot but I would still make my connection flight in Ft Lauderdale. After another 2 hours I was then told that I can board the flight which was now leaving at 3 am opposed to the scheduled 9:30 pm flight, but they did not have another connection flight until the next evening at 9:30. Eventually, I had to cancel my flight and was refunded my money. I spent another 2 hours trying to get my luggage off the plane and the both women, one ticket agent and another Spirit employee were attempting to help me, when i went back to the desk they were gone and didn't return. I had to contact the Tampa Airport so that they could find a Spirit Airline employee to get my luggage. I finally received my luggage at 3:30 am. I had to stay in the airport because my next flight through another carrier was leaving at 730 am. I will NEVER even think about booking another flight with Spirit!! Their customer service was horrible and inconsiderate of any of the patrons who were traveling on that flight. Unfortunately my trip was not for pleasure but due to a loss in the family and they didn't seem to have a care in the world about anyone's cancelled flight. Amongst the few hours that I sat there, every other person that was on the same flight continually complained that this is not their first time traveling with Spirit and there always seemed to be an issue, either flights departing late and being cancelled completely"

Pros: "The best part of this flight is that I did not have to get off the plane. It was the flight I needed to connect to. Since all the flights were late, this made it less stressful."

Cons: "No food, No entertainment. (Should not be in the survey, flights were only 45 min each way.) The scheduled time of the flights. (Very late at night)"

Cons: "My knees had dark red marks where the seat in front of me was hitting them. I had approximately 1 mm of legroom, then the woman in front of me decided that a few extra degrees was more important than my circulation and put her seat down. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you are 6'+. Pay the extra bucks and fly comfortably! Also, $45 for a carry-on bag? I understand having to pay for it, but an arm AND a leg seems to be a bit excessive."

Cons: "There were technical issues with the plane, they deplaned us, and then were trying to revive that engine. It didn't look good at all and we all were scared to go back to that broken plane. They restarted 3 times and engine wouldn't work properly. Finally they decided to switch planes. Why they didn't do that right away? Flight was scheduled for 9:36 pm and we started boarding for a second time around 11:10 pm - it's like almost 2 hours later. We take this short plane to save time, and yet wasting our time at the airport. Even though flight is short, its still need to have superior service and planes need to be inspected in the regular basis."
