Pros: Check-in staff was great at LHR - they were able to configure our seating so that the seat was empty between us.

Pros: Fabulous flight, light on passengers, so excellent service given by the crew. Virgin goes the extra mile on service and little perks. 747-400 planes also very comfortable, compared to the Airbus 320,

Cons: They check for everything in the counter as if it was a low cost airline. If you go a kilo more over your baggage allowance you have to pay 100 eur. And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this.

Cons: The flight was delayed and it ended up being delayed for 4 hours and we had to take a cab to Detroit to catch our flight to Europe

Cons: Extra luggage fees!! We were charged for our carry on bags, when we shouldn’t have been. The airline has a bulletin that states that your small suitcase can be up to 10kg plus a handbag/backpack weighing no more than 5kg. Not happy with Norwegian Airlines..

Cons: Didn’t take the flight. Tried to cancel with justfly.com but they refused though charges me a $$200 cancellation fee anyway. Will never use them again. Scum.

Pros: Direct flight home, ended up on an emptier 11hr flight and had entire row to myself. We didn’t crash so that’s a plus.

Cons: If you want excellent customer service buy the meals. If not you’re pretty much on your own. 11hr flight and I wasn’t even offered water.

Cons: There should at least be allowance for one luggage and if you don't have to use it, it's ok. An international flight of over 7 hours should provide food on the flght. Luggages should automatically transferred t the next flight.

Cons: New lite fare with no checked lugagge included for long haul flights is ridicolous. Had to pay in both legs.

Cons: The overhead bin space of this airplane was too small. My suitcase, which fits on every other type of plane, could not fit on this one. I had to check it and then go grab it at baggage claim, therefore having to go through security again. This was not the most convient for a tight connection.

Pros: This was years ago, and yet I still remember how comfortable I was. The waiting facilities were nice and the airplane service very client friendly. Air Canada was definitely the best flying experience I have ever had.

Cons: Didn't take this flight because it was late and would have caused me to miss my connection. I got rebooked on a different flight that delayed me 10+ hours.

Cons: Booked through a service so didn't know no food or water free on a trans-Atlantic flight. Flight "boarded" 1.5 hrs before the take-off time. We were connecting, so rushed to the gate without food or water. Then just sat in a locked area. Only sandwich available on flight--7 Euros. Water was 3E.

While I know I will get a refund for Norwegian, not sure I will with the connecting flight. Had to go to a different airport and pay a lot more money and getting in a day. United

Pros: The crew ask some of us to help seating a family group together. No objection. Then they went out of their way to make the trip more enjoyable for us... even offering a drink of Champagne wine (the true one, not some substitute)... Departed almost on time, arrived a few minutes early...

Pros: The gate reps from CDG to MSP were professionals. The cabin crew on the Delta flight were exceptional! This was not my experience in Copenhagen with the Air France staff, they seemed to be self centered and rude.

Cons: Delta please make excellence a priority in all areas of customer service. Set high standards for staff so customers know that you appreciate them and are ready for business. The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand

One thing that really surprised me, though, is how much I liked the eggs (on both flights) and what went with the eggs, like the spinach and potatoes and bacon on this flight and the potatoes and sausage (and was there something else?) on the next flight. Kudos for making something that has got to be cheap taste good. Thanks.

Cons: Come to think of it, there was one thing that I didn't particularly like, and that was how the headphones only worked on one side only (there was only audio on one side). At first I thought that maybe I had just gotten bad headphones, but the my next flight was the same: the headphones also only played audio on one side.

Cons: First time flying with a partner through Delta, so they stuck us on a Virgin Atlantic flight meaning I didn't get my free Delta check in bag (a fee of $60 each way) when I have gotten it every other flight I have ever taken with them. It was also 2 whole hours late in boarding.

Cons: This return flight was much better than the flight going to Amsterdam. I believe the biggest factor was the type of aircraft. The old 747 just didn't meet expectations. The newer 777 on the way back was much more comfortable, with better amenities.

Pros: The crew was attentive and the seat at economy comfort was comfortable at the “ok” level. It needs much mor3 to be super comfortable. The plug for the headphones was a mess! It was NOT possible to watch a movie and hear the sound too! I gave up! Not a great offering for the extra dollars...

We did not have the receipt with us, we had all the other documentation so the only way to get on the flight was to pay again for the checked bag. I found the receipt later
