I was told over the phone that I could have up until I boarded but then got to the airport and was commented about it a few times by JetBlue associates. It is confusing and fairly stressful especially when I called in ahead of time to confirm I was ok."

The plane ride was nice with a free drink and potato chip plus a free movie. We noticed that our plane was not full. We were told our plane was sent to New Mexico (State) were a plane was canceled. So, I ask why is our plane being canceled to assist another plane in New Mexico at our expense? Why were they not impacted and we were?"

We were told our original plane was sent to New Mexico (State) were a plane was canceled. So, I ask why is our plane being canceled to assist another plane in New Mexico State at our expense? Why were they not impacted and we were? A couple was flying to Seattle to "Be with their dying son" and there was an urgency. They too had to wait nearly 4 hours more. Was the flight from New Mexico was on time? SHAME SHAME SHAME."

Normally, I enjoy flying JetBlue however, this weekend's round trip was disappointing. My 1st flight was delayed about 5 hours and the return flight was delayed as well."

(After that long delay) The incident on the plane- the passengers had to take action and not the flight attends when a passenger threaten by another passenger. A good Samaritan came to the woman's aid and ensure she was safe by switching her seat. Prior to this, another passenger had to use her call button to try to notify the flight attends because the woman was unable to. (That was her second attempt to notify the attendants). I am unclear to why her first attempt to change seats was not taken under consideration by the flight attended. The alleged passenger was clearly intoxicated and had fallen on the women. The flight attends did intervened after the flight landed at FLL. The woman was detained on the plane along with the alleged passenger. Once again, I am not sure if that was wise. The woman could have been taken off the plane safely and quested at the gate at a safe distance. The alleged passenger was too intoxicated to comply with the flight attends requests to disembark the plan. I would have liked for the JetBlue flight attends to be more proactive or at the very least to keep an eye on the situation to ensure it did not escalate. This all could have been avoided if the woman's 1st request to change her seat to one of the many available seats was granted. Better ye,t for this alleged passenger to have never been able to board the plane in his condition. It was physically noticeable and the surrounding passengers stated they could smell the alcohol on him. Disappointed!"

Cons: "I fly Jetblue in large part for the robust entertainment system and seats which allow me to sleep. On this particular flight, my seat would not recline. Further, and more importantly, I had the only seat with a broken entertainment system on a 6 hour flight. Worse, the screen was on a loop, where every 30 seconds it would flash bright white light in my face, making it impossible for me to sleep or even rest. I would chalk it up to an aberration, however, my entertainment system was similarly broken on my last Jetblue flight. I am very disappointed. One last issue - we had to stand waiting in line to board for no apparent reason 35 extra minutes. Not a huge deal, but not ideal at the end of a long day."

"Airport experience is exhausting. Extremely long lines for check-in and then even longer lines at TSA. Hand sanitizer stations are almost all empty and in the mens room, people are crowding together to get soap from one dispenser that has just a bit left... flight was no better than Southwest Airlines, and it took over an hour for the bags to start coming out. Delta bag claim attendant just said, "I don't know what's going on with them, just wait a bit longer"."
"As with the outbound flight, this return flight was not full - maybe 40-50%. As they started boarding they announced they located a few people the help with 'load a balance' of the aircraft. What they had done was to compress all passengers in the middle of the plane leaving no space between anyone. It is difficult to understand why everyone is required to wear Masks, then relocated to remove all space between passengers, when there was ample room to allow everyone to be seated with space between."

Pros: "We flew from Anchorage to Boston via Seattle. If there had not been a delay in Anchorage, the flight would have been excellent. However, there was a mechanical problem earlier in the day with a plane to Cincinnati. Our flight was scheduled to leave Anchorage at 4pm, but Delta decided to take our pane from us and use it as a substitute for the original but nonfunctional Cincinatti plane. A ridiculous decision. The Cincinnati people already had missed all their connections, but now all the Seattle people missed theirs as well. When we finally got to Seattle 3 hours late (just before midnight), the desk agent said that Delta had no hotel rooms for us and also no hotel vouchers. We thus had to find a room and pay for it on our own. The next day, we had been rescheduled to Detroit and then on another flight from there to Boston. The flight to Detroit arrived nearly 30 minutes late, and we just barely made our connection. Had we missed it, we would have had to spend that night in Detroit. Delta did its best to keep the two of us together. On the Seattle-Detroit flight we were on opposite sides of the aisle in the same row, but that was in a row right behind a bulkhead, making it easy for us to walk over to each other. On the Detroit-Boston flight we were next to each other. Both flights were completely full, so Delta must have made some effort to keep us together as well as possible."

Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie."

Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

Cons: "I usually fly delta and have a great experience - unfortunately my flight from Detroit to Seattle was not. To start off, i was flying with two other people and we were not able to get seats together, and the whole seating process with delta is really difficult even when I had called weeks in advance to see if they could try and seat us together. I understand with main cabin tickets you can only choose your seat as you check in, but it would be nice to be able to request seating with a person/group you are flying with. I was placed in the very back row of a busy flight, and noticed that the horrible smell from the bathrooms which made it unpleasant. As said above, I normally have a pleasant experience.. but being a delta sky member I feel as though i do not really receive any differences as to a non-member. I hope this review helps for the next customers! Thank you."

Cons: "Due to a computer malfunction we were stuck on the tarmac for some time, when it was decided to find a new gate to return to. /The tech crew eventually gave the all clear and upon returning to the tarmac, the same computer malfunction occurred, and again we had to return to the gate. This was all totaled 2.5 hours on the Tarmac. Finally, some 5 hours late we departed Miami in a different plane. Upon arrival in Phoenix, the captain wearily announced that there was no ground crew awaiting us, so we had to wait some time on the tarmac there to disembark. Ruined entire trip as I was not able to move much or stretch my injured leg. Am still in pain as I type this review. Complained to AA. Agent was so nasty! Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

We were not provided with TSA-PRE despite providing our known traveler numbers in advance. Boarding selection protocol seemed opaque, complex, and geared towards inviting us to pay extra for priority boarding. Before boarding the plane, we were not able to find out whether any food would be served and the extent of what might be provided. After getting on board, we were offered the chance to buy food. The complementary food was a cookie and a few ounces of soda or juice. Movies were available, but not headphones for listening to them. Leg space under the seat in front of us was reduced to make room for life vests."

My flight on Alaska was absolutely fantastic and I regret ever buying any United flight and will not in the future."
Cons: "The flight was over 4 hours delayed, and I didn't receive a notification that it was delayed until an hour after the flight was supposed to take off, which would have been ideal given that I had to pay 5x surge pricing for my uber to get there by the original scheduled time. Once we were about to board the plane, we were told again that it was further delayed. The crew was cranky and tired as they had clearly been dealing with delay issues the whole day. There were no tv's on the flight and we were told there would be free wifi to stream to our phones, however the wifi was so slow that it couldn't even load a single picture from the internet. Oh, there were also no decent food options on the flight. I will avoid United at all costs in the future, as my flight down was also over 3 hours delayed."

A woman sat in my seat and refused to move, leaving me with a middle seat next to a lady who was so mean. She kept making rude comments to me throughout my 5 hour flight, and proceeded to get intoxicated. I didn't get home till almost midnight..when I should've been home by 9."

So since change fee was more than ticket I just ate the cost. Not happy with UNITED or KAYAK. Won't use either one again."

On the flight back (during a layover) literaly 5 minutes till boarding the plane, the pilot is ready to go, the people are standing in line, United decides it wont make enough $ on the flight and gives it to an Ontario flight. We are canceled and now have to wait 4 additional hours in the airport. Was told it was air traffic control that messed up, not United, which was not even possible and an obvious untruth. Was offered a complimentary bottle of water for the trouble. Classic united."

Many people had to check bags due to there not being ample room in the overhead compartments, however when I was walking to my seat I couldn't help but notice that many people had stored their purses, backpacks, and jackets in the overhead compartments. Many people in the front didn't have anything at their feet which could have saved at least some people the hassel of having to check their bags when they hadn't planned on checking any at all. When I offered this idea to the flight attendant to see if he couldnt possibly make an announcement or if he could ask if anyone could move their stuff he simple answered "Well you know what? No one cares." Although I can understand that must be very frustrating for him and the other flight attendants, I thought the situation could have been handled a little bit better, perhaps there should be a better plan for a situation like this to make sure the room in the overhead compartments is used in the most efficient way."

Just before the end of the flight, a crew member came offered a glass of water. It tasted so bad that I had to bring it to the back and dump it. The lfight attendant wouldn;t take it' he told me to wait for the next member with a trash bag."

The pilots did a great job navigating through potential turbulence and the flight crew was attentive and on point. A better experience than the crew on the flight from Seattle to Houston four days before. It is my understanding that Continental crews remained intact upon the merge and my assumption was this was a Continental crew versus the United crew that was not as good."

There is no real enforcement of the carton policies of these airlines which makes it frustrating for those who follow the rule only to be punished and forced to check the bag and go through baggage claim."

We have flown United other times and many other airlines and many Boeing 737's...we noticed other passengers looking at each other because of the clunking and growling sounds."

Mechanical noises prior to take off , during flight(right fan whine) - could hear it when started engines in SF., Some loud clunking at take off bringing in landing wheels and again letting down for landing in Seattle. When plane came to stop at the gate, again some noises we have never heard before on 737's. Please check out that plane more closely. Part of our concern is that Pilot mentioned before take off that they had problems with scheduled 737 and they needed extra time to locate another 737 that could be used(Why our take off was rescheduled twice and different gate)......it seemed that one that had been mothballed may have been brought out to use......We did mention some of this tactfully to stewardess' standing near exit when we got off the plane(She seemed surprised and wondered what we were talking about. We were so thankful we made it. We just figured that flight crew would be tracking these odd noises and pass along to captain if he couldn't hear."
Cons: "The difference in entertainment options between different United flights is frustrating. Unlike some flights, which offer a bunch of free movies and shows you can watch on your phone or tablet, this flight offered a small selection of movies I could pay $8 for access to, which started at pre-determined times so you might pay for them and not even be able to catch the movie from the beginning. My original flight offered an outlet to charge my phone and a fairly large selection of free movies, so I watched 3 movies and the time went by quickly. My return flight did have an outlet, but I didn't want to pay for a bad selection of movies that I couldn't pause or start from the beginning, so it felt like a much longer flight."

Passengers had no idea what to do - whether another plane would be sent for us, whether United would reimburse our ticket if we arranged another flight on our own, etc. We were left to fend for ourselves. I had a wedding to get to with many pre-wedding events, starting this evening. So, I looked for another flight, found one, booked it, and went to United customer service to request reimbursement for my ticket. I was told that United had just learned that another plane was coming for us and would arrive in 30 minutes, at 8:10. (My original flight had been at 6:35). The other flight I had booked was at 10:30 pm. So, United customer service changed canceled my new booking and put me back to my original flight, now arriving at 8:10 and boarding at 8:50. The plane did arrive, but we did not board until 10:50 pm. My flight left at 11:02 pm. Bottom line is that my flight was delayed 4.5 hours. I missed an important event that I was supposed to host. I missed my only opportunity to see a dear friend (and guest of honor) - this is someone I have not seen in person for ten years and was the guest of honor at tonight's celebration that I was supposed to host and missed. Furthermire, I could not carry on a bag that I have carried on for years, and that would have easiky fit. Having to check my bag left me without my phone charger. Of course, the fact that we were 4.5 hours delayed meant that I ran out of power shortly into our long flight from Washington. to Seattle. And the food was awful - stale nuts, . ;, b:;"
Pros: "The plane was on time, the boarding process was fast, and the flight crew was friendly. Since the boarding took place at 5:30am the security line was short, there was a lot of space to wait, and people usually miss the early flights so we had empty seats and a lot of room on the plane."

I told the flight attendant and he just shrugged his shoulders and went back to eating his bagel. I had to clean off the seat! Peanut mix is not enough each passenger should get 2 packages. The flight attendants were not careful when steering that drink server thing and hit several people with it moving down the aisle. My wheelchair was not there when we landed and i had to wait for it. The seats in the back of the plane seem like the cushion is high in the back so you feel like you're almost standing! Not enough room between video screen and my face. Shouldnt have to pay for entertainment."

Cons: "We booked Fontier for our trip coming from Miami and flying into Chicago, months ahead of time. This flight was booked to return home after our debarkation of the Carnival Victory Cruise. There was an unfortunate event that occurred while we were aboard and only about 40 minutes away from being back in Miami; 26-year-old Thomas McElhany had gone overboard. Although we were close to the Miami port, The Carnival Cruise made the decision to turn the boat around in search for the missing persons body. We had absolutely NO control over this. After calling Frontier and explaining the situation, they refused to accommodate us, stating that they could not find another same-day flight for us and that we would have to also pay a cancellation fee of $99. Although many of our friends and family and even several other members aboard were able to be reimburse for their tickets with different airlines, we were stuck trying to scrap up enough money to get back home on a new flight. Not only was this emotionally draining as the situation created complete chaos aboard, it was financially draining, causing us to have to ask family to help to pay for our return home. Frontier could have done better in their attempt to accommodate us due to circumstances beyond our control. The only option we were given was to stay in Miami for two days and then fly out, only after paying the cancellation fee and paying the difference for a new flight. This too wasn't an option, as we would have had to stay on the streets of Miami, as hotels (for two days), cost. What was to be a great vacation turned into a nightmare and the airline that we hoped and prayed would be our saving grace, completely abandoned us. We are still trying to recover both emotionally from the situation that occurred aboard, and financially after having to book with another airline with money we didn't have."

Upon arrival in airport, I was told that there's a mechanical problem with the plane in ORD and that the plane hasn't left ORD (flight time 3:20). Thankfully, we had a place to stay for a day so we asked to be re-booked for the flight for the next day. Others took a refund and went to book a flight on a different airlines. Others had to wait until arrival of equipment and their plane didn't leave until 8:15PM that day (meaning they had to be in the airport for 9 hours!) I understand that the airline has limited amount of equipment and crews, but earlier notification would have been appreciated"

We had already boarded when we found out that the captain wasn't going to make it and that they were on hold with scheduling to try and find a replacement. Half an hour later they had us de-plane. From there we waited around for another 2 hours before a replacement was able to make it. They had us board again, and then we were waiting on ground crew to come push us back from the gate for another 20 minutes. It was a disaster. We got into Seattle almost four hours later than we originally should have. The attendants were short with all of us. Granted there were quite a few people who were being nasty. I understand that it wasn't in their control. But customer service is. They all fell short."

Pros: "I got where I was going without dying. That's the only positive thing about my Frontier experience."
Cons: "What do you call flight attendants who won't look at you or acknowledge you? Is it fair to call them rude if you had no interaction with them at all in your 3.5 hour flight? Since they wouldn't look at me, there was no option to even buy overpriced food or drink from them. The guy sitting next to me had to yell to get their attention. The lady was so annoyed that he asked for water. I've never seen "service" like this in my life. Terrible service. Have to pay for carry-ons but they don't tell you that during booking. Seats don't recline. Flight attendants were frumpy and dirty looking. No entertainment options (I don't know why they ask us to rate it.) No food or drink without screaming and paying an arm and a leg. Speaking of arms and legs, there is nowhere to put yours. My knees were in the seat in front of me. The guy I was sitting next to was bigger than me but not fat at all. He was leaned against the wall and still spilling into my seat. His shoulder was against mine, his arm was on mine, and his legs were too wide to fit in front of his seat so he took up at least a quarter of my leg room. The lady on the other side had an infant in her lap and did the same, except she was hanging out into the aisle. I'm 5'8" and weigh 135 pounds. When I was boarding the plane I was one of the last people on. Coming down the aisle, I hit EVERYONE who washould unlucky enough to have an aisle seat. There was absolutely no room to walk. The miniscule tray tables won't stay up. They didn't just fall down on take off or landing. The one on the back of my seat fell down approximately every 2 minutes. The flight attendant literally yelled at the person behind me because she "wouldn't put her tray table up" for landing even though the problem was mechanical not an unwillingness to follow the rules. I've never seen anything like this. I will never fly this airline again."
Pros: "I like that Boarding On time."
Cons: "I paid $35 for my carry on bag. And even can't find the space to put it on the cabinet above my seat. Flight attendant just tell me to look for another space. They never help me anything. It took me a while to find the one far away from where I was seated. One of male flight attendant opened the cabinet above my head, maybe grab his stuff but one bottle of water fell down. It almost hit my head and luckily it just touched my shoulder. It was my horrible experience. I picked this flight because it fits my schedule. Next trip I will never take it any more."
Pros: "The crew was nice, flight on time and fine."
Cons: "I don't like the fact that you do not recycle, yet you provide goods that are just placed in landfills and will take hundreds of years to decompose. The airports recycle, is it that difficult to make that happen for Frontier? The hundreds of plastic cups, plastic bottles, cans, etc. etc. is mind blowing and is something I pay attention to. I actually took my item back to the airport instead of giving to the crew at the end so I could place the item in the recycle bin in the airport after asking your crew if there was recycling. They said there was no recycling. I also picked up a plastic bottle from another seat on the way out to help clean up since I knew you guys would throw it out anyway. Thanks for considering being more sustainable, eco-friendly, and for thinking about my comment seriously to minimize your airplane's environmental impact. I will pay attention and voice my concerns elsewhere as well - recycling shouldn't have to be done by the consumer, the businesses need to step up and make it happen."
Pros: "There is not one positive thing I can say about my experience with Frontier."
Cons: "Where do I begin, the counter opens 2 hours before flights, and in our case it opened 90 minutes before, so the line was horrendous. Be ready to pay through the nose for well...EVERYTHING. Our luggage cost us over $200.00, our seats over $300.00 even a coffee was $2.99. The seats are ridiculous. We paid for the expensive seats thinking that meant we'd have extra leg room, and you know a reclining seat...haha!! No, we were wrong! We had LESS leg room because we were in the first row , we had to hold our purse/backpack in our laps because the overhead was full (Even though we were in row A! The flight attendants allow people to put their baggage anywhere, not necessarily over there seat, so we were screwed). Our seats were like sitting on sharp metal objects. We were 35 minutes late leaving the airport, the crew didn't see fit to tell us why. The luggage took twice as long as other airlines to get to.the terminal... In a nutshell this so called "cheap fare" winded up costing us over $1,000.00 once all extras were added. We will NEVER fly Frontier again."
Pros: "The crew was friendly. The flight was pretty much on time besides a short delay on the way to Denver."
Cons: "I didn't like showing up and being charged $40 each way for my carry-on. That made the ticket price go up to the same price as leading and preferred competitors. The food options were very minimal and there was no option for on-flight entertainment. Also, on the return flight I was seated towards the back of the plane. The back was completely packed and full and then I realized after take off that the front of the plane was nearly empty. They did a horrible job at being aware of this and they really could of increased everyone's overall comfort if they spaced us out more evenly."
Cons: "We were part of the week when Frontier had a horrendous problem with on-schedule flights. We were two hours late for a 2.5 hour flight. At the gate, attendants were very poor at communicating. Couldn't hear them on the PA. Several people asked me "do you know what zone they are currenly loading?". They board weirdly - instead of back to front. When we got on (seated near the very rear) there were people seated everywhere. Slowed down loading, which slowed down departure. (2.5 hours late) Rows too close together, absolutely no leg room. Seats are the bare minimum - wouldn't recommend a long flight. Not sure I will fly with Frontier again. Will have to pony up the dollars for a better airline."
Pros: "The plane did not crash. That is the only positive aspect of the trip I could come up with."
Cons: "I paid for my checked luggage, which was expected and fine, however I was told my carry-on bag was okay but it was not. After my ticket had been scanned at the gate and I was already halfway down the gangway, a gate agent began yelling at me to come back. The other passengers looked at me like I was a criminal or something and it was quite humiliating. The agent said (rather rudely) that I had to pay an additional $40 for my carry-on. I explained that I was told the bag was fine when I was at the ticket counter but they did not care. They further informed me that I was paying $10 more for my bag than I would have at the ticket counter, leaving me feeling scammed. I emailed the company immediately upon arrival, explained the situation, and asked for a refund of the carry-on fee given the unusual circumstances. I was flatly refused. Horrible experience, horrible employees, horrible customer service, horrible airline. Their ticket prices might be low, but that only seems to be to lure customers in so they can be tricked and swindled for more money. I paid more for my bags than I did for my ticket!! This company seems to operate on a "bait and switch" business model and through some research I did on them following this experience I found they already have compliants against them to the Better Business Bureau. AVOID THIS AIRLINE AT ALL COSTS!!!"
Pros: "I actually like that you cannot lean your seat back. It's too imposing on the passenger behind you."
Cons: "They charge extra for everything. Every seat has an extra charge except for the middle seats in the very back row. Once you've paid for your seat and for your carry-on bag(!), you've paid as much as you would have flying with Alaska, American, United, etc. There was no entertainment whatsoever on a 5 hour flight (not even for purchase) and no snack provide either. I believe there was food for purchase but I didn't even look at it. Also, they do not support TSA pre-check. This would have been something the representative I called should have informed me of but instead she told me she had updated my records. So in addition to the fee gouging, their staff are either uninformed or outright dishonest."
Pros: "Crew on the plane was super nice and cared for us."
Cons: "Check in process was HORRIBLE. I initially showed my military I.D in order to check into my flight. All U.S Navy service members that are attached to a ship have a sticker on their I.D that states their ship and department. The lady that was assisting me accused me for having a fraud military I.D as the sticker ONLY hides what branch I serve in. She accused me for hiding information on my I.D as she tried taking the sticker off as I need that sticker to get on and off my ship. I was also accused for not looking like my military I.D picture. That picture was taken during boot camp as my head was completly shaved and I had no facial hair. I obviously grew out my hair and had facial hair as I was in a leave status. I was not required to shave for the duration of my leave. She also asked why I was not in uniform. The lady assisting me failed to realized that active duty members do NOT have to be in uniform every second of their waking lives. She did not believe I was in the U.S Navy and was super disrespectful. I just gave her my Illinois I.D to avoid any other trouble. I'm not a confrontational person so I just tried to avoid creating a scene in front of everyone. She was not wearing a name tag so I called frontier to make a formal complaint. I will not be flying with frontier anymore. Thank you."
Cons: "I am never flying Frontier Airlines again. Hidden fees everywhere that make the price much, much less of a deal than it looked when I did the price comparisons against some legitimate airlines. Frontier charged for carry-on bags, tried to charge for seat assignments (all of the available seats & not just the desired ones), charged for every beverage including sodas. Frankly I was surprised they didn't charge for water! Seats didn't recline at all & were like sitting on a metal folding chair for 5 hours. Food tray was about 3 inches wide, could barely put a plastic cup on it let alone a laptop or anything like that. Deceptive pricing combined with crappy accommodations - a combination I will avoid next time."
Cons: "My last trip with Frontier the flight was delayed on the way there and on the return trip. The way there the flight was delayed 3 hrs, and it was a red eye. The way back was also delayed and the power died or the computer system shorted as we were about to take off and it was further delayed because they had to do a system reset. And it is absolutely obsurd to design your planes without reclining chairs, your seats are the most uncomfortable seats I have ever flown on. And then to charge +$200 for two round trip for reclining chairs, ridiculous! I will probably never fly frontier again not will I recommend your airline to anyone."
Pros: "I was extremely disappointed with Fronteir airlines this was my first and only experience flying with them, and though the ticket price was great, it simply was NOT worth it! There were additional costs for everything! When I attempted to get my seat assignment I was told they assign at the gate, or I could PAY an additional fee for choosing one myself. And, they charge extra for your carry on bag. And expecting to at least be offered a soda, maybe a mini bag of salted pretzels if lucky (lol), I was SHOCKED to be told 1 soda was $1,99! Additional cost for any snacks or anything other than water! The aircraft was very dirty inside the bathroom as well as on and by my seat, as though it hadn't been even wiped down in over a month! (Pretty bad!) The flight crew were all very good I must say. I asked one of them and was told that 2of them were brand new employees. It really showed! They were much friendlier and genuinely cared about customer service! Refreshing! So, overall I would have to rate it low, and highly unlikely to fly with them again.even the checking in process was a real headache! I am glad to have received this questionaire , as I had planned on actually taking the time to sit down and write a letter as well as request a full refund , or credit for a friend, family member, or myself . Cons: "I realize that there are some things that are beyond the control of the airline and I don't blame Frontier for the delay boarding or the rough weather, but after sitting almost 2 hours on the tarmac before takeoff and then the fasten seat belt light left on for the first nearly 2 hours of the flight, there was a plane full of passengers who desperately needed to use the restroom, myself included. What really annoyed me was that while rudely admonishing any passenger who dared trying to go to use the facilities to sit back down, the flight attendant herself went in the bathroom and relieved herself. When the seat belt light was finally turned off, I made my way to the restroom and this same flight attendant told me I would have to wait because another passenger sitting in the first row had been waiting a long time to go. I told her "everyone has been waiting a long time, well everyone but you." at this point she got very defensive and began yelling at me about federal regulations and so on and that she is allowed to use the bathroom. That may be true, but it doesn't make it right. Perhaps because I ticked her off, or perhaps just because of incompetence, my wife, myself, and the passenger in the third seat in our row were never offered any drink service. I did observe that even after the long delays and general ordeal of the flight, they were still charging passengers for soft drinks. I think a comped drink would be the least Frontier could do under the circumstances, but I guess anything resembling customer service is too much to ask. Add to all this the uncomfortable seats, the being nickel and dimed at every turn, which makes what first appears to be a good deal on a fight into one which is more costly than better quality airlines, I would advise spending a little more upfront for Southwest or some other reputable airline. You probably won't spend anymore in the end if you have luggage and would enjoy a beverage on the fight anyway and you will be treated with more respect and courtesy and other you will sit in a seat that doesn't feel like an old piece of plywood covered in vinyl. On both the flight to and the one from my destination, I noticed that the seats would not recline. I'm not sure if I had seats in rows that didn't recline or if none of them do."
Cons: "Hidden expenses emerge at check in... $45 for a checked bag both ways. $100 spent that I didn't intend to pay for. As the drink cart comes down the aisle, I am again offered to pay for the water I ordered by credit card. I had payed online thinking My trip was paid and complete. With frontier, plan on having money you have no intention of paying, being asked for over and over. My return plane was delayed 4 hours due to "refueling". The trip cost at least another $100 dollars overall. Go with another airline."
Cons: "The tickets for Frontier are cheap but there are so many hidden costs after the fact. My flight was delayed three hours due to weather which I understand but there was very little communication about what was going on with my flight. They didn't offer any vouchers or anything for everyone that was delayed. Even the customer service line was miles long because so many people on other flights were having issues. I think the ladies at the gate just hid in the back after a while because we never saw them again. I would go out of my way to never fly Frontier again"

Cons: "The flight was delayed for over three hours. At destination (Seattle) the Link Rail system was closed and I had to pay $50 for taxi service. This was an unplanned expense. I can forgive issues with planes and reasonable delays but there was little or no concern about leaving passengers stranded at the airport. The $50 discount on a next flight with Frontier (which won't happen) is of little use. I would have appreciated some help with getting to my destination and room accommodations. Do you know how hard it is to make arrangements at 2:30am at the Seattle Airport. No food, no ride, and had to get someone to let me into my room early in the morning."
Pros: "Flight was inexpensive, and that was about the only good."
Cons: "Frontier has gone so cheap that it is hard to justify ever paying to fly with them. The seats no longer recline and have a minimal pad over a hard plastic seat shell. Not comfortable, and I'm not even a big person. Baggage fees are outrageous compared to what you get with every other airline. I was at a seminar for a week and needed more than a single duffle, so I got to pay $70 to get it there and back. I can overnight ship something for cheaper! Frontier used to be great and they have cut every last corner to make as much money as possible. It's a sad day."
Cons: "Both flights to & from Denver were over 30 minutes late unloading passengers. This particular flight was late on all counts.15 minutes late beginning boarding. Departed over 30 min. Late and arrival was about 40 min. Late. I do like that charging for carry on means people board /load and deplane/unload quickly.We get what we pay for and Frontier is cheap. We payfor each little add on, reserved seats, beverage, carry on, etc.Good option if cheapness is primaryfactor over comfort, convenience, or reliabledeparture and arrival schedule. Unrealistic tight scheduling means little time to clean or prepareplane between flights."

Cons: "The flight attendance wouldn't sell me water or give me water when I asked for it on the plane. This was before the plan was descending, so he literally had no excuse. She didn't even have the common courtesy to come to me and say she wasn't going to give me any water. We had to ask her why she didn't provide water even when she had a water bottle in her hand. I will never fly with Frontier again. Also they try and trick you with cheap airline tickets initially, but then charge you $40 for 1 checked bag each way and you don't get any perks! Not even water. This was terrible."
Pros: "This flight was horrible from start to finish. This was a flight from Miami to New York, scheduled to depart at 2:25 and arrive at 5:25. Around 1:30 we were told we'd be departing at 3:30 instead due to "weather at LaGuardia." I'd like to point out that countless friends and family, and also every weather app known to man, assured me there was absolutely no bad weather in the New York area and in fact there wasn't supposed to be until that evening, when there was a chance of thunderstorms. So if anything, delaying the flight only increased our chances of running into said bad weather. In any event, we boarded at 3pm and then around 3:30 were told we'd now be delayed again, probably departing around 4pm. So we sat on the runway like idiots. We did leave shortly after 4pm, and then once we got to the LaGuardia area about two hour later, we were told we needed to refuel (????) so we were being rerouted to Raleigh. About 40 minutes later we were told there was a storm in Raleigh so actually we would be going to Newport News. This is absolutely no joke, but the flight crew nor the pilot knew which state Newport News was in and upon arriving they announced we were in Virginia and said they knew that thanks to a Google search. Keep in mind it was now about 8pm and we had all been prepared for a short flight that would arrive hours ago, so everyone was beginning to get really hungry and irritable. This is where the flight crew started to really, thoroughly suck. In addition to being completely rude to anyone who tried to ask if we could get some more information, they were CHARGING people for water and offering nothing in the way of food. Only after a passenger begged did they dole out granola bars and cups half-filled with water around 9pm. Also, this entire time we weren't able to leave the aircraft and this was when the bathrooms decided to go out, and they were out of commission for about 30 minutes, so that was fun. We finally got into the air around 10pm and landed in LaGuardia by 10:50. Also, just a note, but when we took off in Newport News the weather had turned and there was heavy rain and lightning. We had no issue taking off during the storm, but apparently the storm was the reason for the initial delay? Whatever. Anyway we finally landed in LGA after being on that plane for 7+ hours. Then, just when we thought it was over, we were told there wasn't a gate open and we would need to sit on the plane and remain on the runway for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes was actually more like 45, so around 11:30 we finally, FINALLY could get off and I have never seen passengers de-board a plane so quickly. Overall this was one of the worst experiences ever, and while I try and be understanding when it comes to delays, what really put this over the edge was 1) the lack of reasoning for the delays and 2) the incompetency and rudeness of the crew. They made no one feel safe or comfortable. This was the absolute worst."
Cons: "Everything. I genuinely can't think of one plus, aside from the comraderie of the passengers."
Cons: "I had a real problem with the prices for a "carry-on." The staff at the gate kept giving us different prices for our bags. I asked why a back pack that is twice the size of my brother-n-laws "carry-on" is free. They explained the "carry-on" had wheels and the back pack is a personal item like a purse. What??? Definition from Oxford dictionary, Carry-on: (of a bag or suitcase) suitable for taking onto an air craft as handheld luggage. I asked to speak to a manager and Nicole, the lead, very rudely explained if we didn't pay the fee we wouldn't be able to board the plane. My sister paid over $700 for round trip tickets for 2 people and was told she wouldn't be able to board the plane if she didn't pay for a small suitcase that had wheels. Luckily my sister went online to pay the "carry-on" fee. Online the fee was only $30 instead of the $60 fee your Frontier representative threatened my sister with. It was unbelievable. I will NEVER fly Frontier again."
Cons: "First time flying Frontier. Great advertised rate round trip Sea to Denver $140 vs next best AK at $170. Receive email to pick seat, Suprise... They cost $9-36 each way, no mention of free seats if you just show up and go open seating. also Suprise# 2 carrying are $40 each way. I choose $18 seats and had a carry on so total trip ended up being $140 + $126 in a frontier gotcha money an increase in fare of almost double. I did find out about the seat chafe scam before checking in and asked to just go open seat.....uhh no. So how much would the Alaska Air trip have been....$170 plus $0 for assigned seat and $0 for carry on so $170. So fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.... Their will not be a twice and I suggest Kayak add some notes to fares to avoid future bilking by Frontier."
Pros: "For a cheap, quick flight under 3 hours this was a reasonable flight. It has the bare essentials, especially if you are traveling alone or without children. The crew was friendly and unlike the flight TO Miami (delayed by almost 2 hours for maintenance reasons---the a/c was not working and the airplane was very hot. Luckily everyone was told to return to the gate and wait for the problem to be fixed) this return flight was actually early! The plane was clean and in good condition."
Cons: "Aside from previous mentioned delay to destination, the unknown fact that you have to pay for your carry on luggage AFTER ticket purchase was a bit of a shocker...but for such a cheap ticket price I was expecting some hidden fee's along the way. Having to pay for something as simple as coffee or a small snack (what happened to free peanuts and pretzels?) seemed a bit excessive also so i was extremely disappointed at this also. Also, the trays on the seat backs were EXTREMELY small, just about big enough for a tablet so I am not sure who the airline is saving that space for?.. Again, this is a great airline for short flights but I don't know if i will be using them for a long flight in my future unless they have aircraft's with more comfortable options."
Pros: "Crew was amazingly friendly both flights! The whole process seemed very nice and quick. I would DEFINITELY fly Frontier again in the US. Also, this is silly, but the tray tables are very cute. They are tiny (1/2 or 1/3 the size of a 'typical') and metal-ish; while not large, they are also not wobbly like on many other aircraft. I liked that there was no TV in front of me or controls in my seat; because usually I turn it off anyway but it still looks ugly and all the extra crevices in 'nicer' seats get filthy and disgusting. I did not feel grossed out by this aircraft, which is really cool."
Cons: "Obviously, it's really tiny and uncomfortable. I knew that going in and paid for an aisle seat, otherwise I would have been totally miserable. I would recommend doing that, and also NOT having stuff you need to put under the seat in front of you, because then you'll just squish yourself in more. I was fine and got both sleep and some writing done, but I did see others struggle."
Pros: "The view from my window seat."
Cons: "Lets begin with the scam of low ticket prices. You you're getting a good deal until the day before the flight when you have PAY FOR CARRYON LUGGAGE. Then, there was an hour and a 45 min delay. At the airport, the Frontier computer systems were down, so getting on the plane had to be done manually. On the plane, some of the crew was rude like a man named RAY and the black flight attendant who used the most aggressive tone over the loud speaker. Here's the worst part, on a flight from MIA to NYC the plane had to stop and refuel in Philadelphia. If that's not crazy, I don't know what is! They told us it would only take 20 minutes, but we were in Philly for TWO HOURS! There was a lady that wanted to know what was going on, so she asked the flight attendants who told her they had no info. She asked for their names, which they refused to give to her and they proceeded to have her KICKED OFF THE PLANE by the captain. We got no complimentary snacks during this ordeal. I asked a flight attendant for free chips and got laughed at in my face. As you can tell, I will never fly Frontier again. The flight was supposed to leave MIA at 2:50pm and land at 5:00pm.. We got to NYC at 10:00pm. NEVER AGAIN."
Pros: "The return Flight arrived early and the Frontier employees where all very nice."
Cons: "The most uncomfortable seating I've ever experienced. I'm not a big guy and I was squeezed in my seat. At check in I HAD to pay extra for a seat, prices ranged from $40 - $13. This was not just to upgrade but any seat, I thought I was purchasing a seat when I bought the ticket? Also if you have baggage you have to pay whether you check it or it carry-on. If I'm going to be charged to check my bag I will then have an expectation of receiving a service. Baggage on both the arrival & return took longer then on other carriers. After paying for all the hidden fees, this flight was only about $10 less than a carrier with better seating and up front pricing. I can not recommended Frontier."

Cons: "The price of the flight did not include information about the luggage and seat fees. As a dependent of an active duty service member, I have never had to pay for luggage. Ever. And to have to pay for a seat on the plane, an additional $150 round-trip for luggage and pay for water on the flight too, it made me very angry. I will never use Frontier Airlines for any or my travels, nor will I ever recommend that anyone uses them either. In fact, I have already told friends and family to avoid Frontier because they are a total rip off!"
Pros: "The flight attendants were nice. This is the best I can say about Frontier Airlines."
Cons: "Whoever designed the seats does not understand the human form. They were TORTUOUS to sit it. I had to take my emergency anti-nausea pill, the seats torked my body so badly. I was in so much pain after I arrived at my destination at both ends, I needed medical help. Charging extra for every little thing was insane. They didn't even give you a basic drink without drooling into your wallet. I have never been charged for a carry on bag before. Checked luggage yes, but never carry on. Both on the flight out and on the flight in, they missed the boarding gate, so we had to wait a long time while they lined it up with the airplane. A frightening lack of training here. Flying sucks. I understand that; that's the way of the system now. This went so far beyond the basic suckage of the regular flying experience, it was unbelievable. Frontier will NEVER be getting my money again. Probably the most expensive flight for the least comfort and amenities you could find."
Cons: "My flight was delayed by more than 3 hours. The representative at check-in told me that the flight was coming from LaGuardia airport and was delayed due to bad weather (which I can still believe to be true despite any evidence of severe weather when I checked online). No one (from the check-in desk to the boarding gate) had any information about the delay and we were sitting clueless at the gate as the departure time kept changing frequently. No frontier crew was present at the gate to answer our queries or to provide reasonable respite in terms of water or meal vouchers at a very cold airport (heating wasnt working for some reason). This was aggravated by the fact that there are no complimentary drinks/meals on the flight. I would also like to point out a cheap trick that the airline tries to fool passengers with. They try to charge you for your seat when you check-in online. You have to skip seat selection to avail a seat at no extra cost. This on top of carry on baggage fees. It doesnt sound like a budget airline to me. A cheap one, for sure."
Cons: "I booked because of the cheap rate. Only to find out at the airport that they charge 25 for carry on luggage...I knew they charged for checking luggage but for a carry on?! ridiculous. Adding those $50, price is the same or more expensive than other better airlines. There was no food whatsoever. Almost 4 hr flight and no food....the food they sell is basically snacks...not even a sandwich. The seats are insanely thin and hard. Entertainment? You have to pay for that. Never seen this kind of horrible service. I lost my flight coming back from NY because of the bad weather conditions. The airport was insane, we got off in the middle of the freeway because cars were not moving and started running. I left 3hs30 before my flight and still lost it...thats how crazy it was. Not only they didnt offer any help, they wanted to charge penalty and put me on a flight 4 days from then. Tried calling and explaining, no one cares. Never flying this company again"
