It would be great if the airline took care of giving you shelter when you are stuck in limbo with no reason behind while you are stuck. Cons: "This was the rudest and most unprofessional airline staff I have ever worked with in my life. I personally watched the lady at the gate check-in desk straight up lie to a passenger who she didn’t like personally. This passenger was late for boarding by 2-3 minutes (yet still 10 minutes before scheduled take off), and when he arrived at the gate the Silver Airways employee informed him that he would not be allowed to load since the door had already shut and the engines were already running. From my seat though, I could clearly see that the engines were completely still and not yet started. When I noticed this, I started paying closer attention. After pleading with the Silver employee in a civil manner, he began to become agitated with the lack of help he was getting. It was the day after Christmas, and the man was just trying to fly home to his family. The plane was still sitting at the gate, but the Silver employee said (in a very rude fashion) there was nothing she could do except change him to a later flight. 15 minutes go by, and the plane finally starts to back out of the gate. The man who had just missed his flight decided to take the Silver employee up on her offer to switch to the later flight, but when he asked, she looked at her computer and said there was no more space available on the later flight. Disappointed and annoyed, the man left the terminal completely frustrated because she had just offered him a later flight that didn’t have any room left. Or at least that’s what she told him. 2 Minutes later, another man approached the gate desk with the same problem, he missed the same flight. This time though, when she looked up the same exact later flight, it all of a sudden had plenty of space. She even asked the man whether he would prefer an exit row or a window seat. I was left completely dumbfounded. This employee had just told the previous man it was full, and now she was printing a boarding pass for this guy. It was obvious that she liked this man more than the last guy, and that’s why she was able to “help”. This makes me absolutely disgusted with Silver Airlines character and integrity. I will never fly Silver again, and I hope all who read this take my advise."
Cons: "i would not fly again if possible. My trip consisted of 3 flights, starting in Fort. Lauderdalento to Orlando, Orlando to Denver, and Dever to Aspen. However, The first flight operated by Silver (a partner of United) was delayed due to "maintenance". Due to this delay, we missed our connecting flights and had to get new flights, causing us to have an over night layover in Chicago and then arriving in Aspen Sunday, the next day of our original arrival day. I just want to add that I saw on the departure board that Silver had maybe 16 flights that morning/ afternoon and maybe 7-8 of those flights, including mine, were delay or canceled. Not to mention they never updated their board to reflect our flight was delayed. The only good comment I have was that the Silver attendent who helped us get a new flight was very helpful."

My flight was supposed to arrive at my destination at 3:47pm, yet we didn't board the plane that was supposed to leave at 2:25 until 4:20, despite no weather delays or issues with the plane. The only explanation was the plane was "scheduled" to land at 3:47. Even better they only announced this change 5 minutes before our departure time, and we're very unapologetic about it, as though it's commonplace and completely acceptable. Don't fly Silver Airways, and be careful booking with United, as they will place you in one of these companies. it amazed me at how in the 4 hours I was there, I counted 3 flights that were delayed besides mine. Just horrendous all around."

Pros: "not a thing my flight from Ecuador was delayed and I missed my Silver connection after waiting in line for an hour they refused to help me get on another flight. The person at the ticket counter didn't care about me at all. I was just a number. They said JetBlue had to call them for me to get on another flight Jetblue wouldn't do this because It wasn't on my Itinerary. All Silver had to do was check the Jetblue status and they would of seen I was over an hour late into Ft. Lauderdale. However the ticket person refused."

Cons: "Arrived on transfer 60 minutes prior to flight and were told needed to be there 2hours early, we'd never make it through security. Made us go back to partner (JetBlue) airline in another terminal we'd just come from. After running 1/2 mile between 2 terminals in 90+ degree heat they booked us on the next flight which was again 60 minutes away. JetBlue said they could have just called them but them made us run around, literally. In the end the first flight was delayed and we could easily have made it as when we got to security we were the only people there. Took less then 5 minutes to get from check-in to terminal. Ridiculous amount of stress and run around for no reason. Don't expect good service from these guys in FTT!"

Cons: "Every time I'd ask why our flight was being delayed, the crew behind the desk would start laughing and make fun of me for asking. They told me the plane was there, then they where waiting on the crew. (Crew was sitting next to me. In uniform. Common sense would have said not to fabricate this). On my last interaction the man behind the counter made fun of my limp- not acceptable. When Irequested to speak to the manager, she came up and promised to take care of the situation. She never even addressed the situation with the employee. I even have statements I kept from random people witnessing this, with contact information. Another failure. I have flown with silver for a long time and prob will not fly with them again. No reason to treat anyone like that. As a traveler with plans beyond your flight, I expect to be on time, or at least have a reasonable reason as to why I'm late. So I can adjust my schedule accordingly. Lies and false statements promising me 20 more minutes every time I ask is lazy and unprofessional. Who's gonna pay for my rehearsal dinner hat I missed and had to cancel? Im going to social media next with my story and how silver handled this."
Cons: "Our flight was cancelled and rerouting was terrible. This was my first experience with Silver. The price seemed reasonable but you get what you pay for. I will never use this airline again."
Pros: "I paid 200 dollars to fly with this airline from ft lauderdale to Orlando. I fry a lot so I understand delays. What I don't understand is why they keep saying that the flight was on time then at the time of departure tell us the crew would be there any minute. For one hour they kept announcing that the crew would be there any minute. The staff at the desk was you typical airline staff with a poor attitude."

Pros: "agents were not helpful and agent admitted the airline has poor communication. Delayed us from 3 to 9pm with little updates, finally cancelling, when the cancellation could've happened much sooner. All other flights out were booked and people had to find rental cards. I was not able to get my money back- only a voucher on the same airline which i was hoping to never use use silver airway again."
