Pros: "The entertainment! The free coffee! The legroom! We left right on time and actually landed early! Pilot communicated well as gave us a heads up that there was going to be a little turbulence."

Pros: "Boarding was smooth, on time and efficient. The crew was friendly and they moved quickly in the cabin so not to disturb people sleeping on such an early flight."

Cons: "The flight attendant took my bag out of the overhead compartment and made me check it. It was the same bag I used flying to Florida and did not have any issues with it. She insisted it was too big. I told her it obviously fit just fine because she took it out easily and that it was regulation size and weight. I was not happy at all. I paid to sit up front and get on first to put my bag in the overhead compartment for a reason! I’ve used this bag several times with no issues. I spent an extra 35 minutes trying to get my bag and leave the airport that I didn’t have to spare. She had no regard for incredible inconvenience it caused me."
Cons: "Apparently, if you pay extra for carry on luggage and you have seats in rows two and three, you can’t use the overhead compartment, which then somewhat defeats the extra legroom you paid for when your carry on has to go under the seat ahead of you. And the flight attendant was rather rude in her insistence about where my luggage “couldn’t” go."

Pros: "On time departure, early arrival. Lead crew member helped me find a trading card Frontier does with all their animal mascots I use for scrapbooking my trip. She took the extra time to find one in a kid snack pack and gave me whole thing! Made my day."
Cons: "Plane was a bit dirty from quick turnaround service. Crumbs on all my row, window smudged with who knows what. My Lysol wipe came in handy."
Pros: "Crew was super pleasant and chipper. Passengers seemed to have a handle on how to board in a timely manner."
Cons: "Management could schedule time for maintenance software updates so as not to affect departure time. We were 20 minutes delayed."

Cons: "Flight was delayed to 5pm. But left almost an hour early. Flight left without me. Not much notice to other passengers. Every airport display and the gate display said 5pm. Many passengers left behind"

Cons: "So, Fort Lauderdale doesn’t have much Frontier service, so the desk is only manned about 90 minutes prior to boarding. No signs or indication of this means a lot of angry travelers standing inline for unknown amount of time. I’m sure the desk staff love everyone yelling at them. Dumb business model."
Cons: "Staff were incredibly rude - plane was very delayed - I missed my connection at Fort Lauderdale because my flight was so delayed, yet Spirit was only willing to put me on a flight several days later (without paying for my hotel) or give me a partial refund for only the flight from Fort Lauderdale to BWI (even though they flew me to Fort Lauderdale then basically left me there). I have to say again, their staff were incredibly rude, at every single point of my roundtrip from BWI to Panama; it makes sense that only rude people would be okay with working for such a terrible airline company. Spirit has nothing but hidden fees and tricks to scam you out of as much money as possible too. I will never fly with Spirit again"
Pros: "Flying from Fort Lauderdale to DC, our boarding gate was switched without adequate notification. While up headed to the bathroom I noticed the flight information changed. When I asked the gate “Spirit” gate attendant, who was there the entire time, she told me the gate changed. I went to the new gate where the incoming flight was already deboarding the plane. 10 minutes later other passengers from my flight began to arrive complaining about sharing electronic notifications because the attendant made no attempt to let passengers know the gates had changed. She did publicize other gate changed a while I was at the original gate, but never announced my flight’s gate change. Claiming bags in DC was also an unorganized event. I understand the no frills concept but I can’t recommend Spirit to anyone I wish to remain friends with, no matter how cheap the tickets are."

Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable there really wasn't a tray table they charged two dollars for a cup of coffee and really there was a quarter of a tray table so even that you had to hold on to the cup so it wouldn't tip over really I know it is a discount airline but it is kind of rediculouse the corners that they have cut and go on cutting"

Cons: "On 6/30/17, Spirit Air cancelled my flight without so much as a phone call, text, or email until I arrived at the airport. Upon my arrival, I was told that the earliest that I could get to Florida was before Midnight on the next day. Seeing that I was in a wedding, that wasn't an option for me. At which point, I requested that the 2nd leg of the trip be cancelled and that I be refunded for the ticket that I purchased. As Spirit's unreliability left me no alternative. It's been 8 days since my initial request for a refund without so much as a confirmation or refund. I have waited the quoted "24-48 hours" (4) times and am no closer to a resolution than I was upon inception of this debacle. Rep #45858, and #42452 were wildly dismissive and seemed to do everything in their power to not resolve my issue. I will NEVER fly Spirit again...ever."

Cons: "Cancelled flight with prior notice at all. Only one person to help everyone on the flight figure out their travel plans - waited in line 1.5 hours just to speak to someone. Had to take a connecting flight to Boston and ended up in my destination 6 hours later than planned. On my way back from Fort Lauderdale, almost every Spirit flight in the entire airport was delayed. My flight boarded on time, but when we were ready to take off, the captain came on the loud speaker and said that we need to go back to the gate because 3 flight attendants need to get off of the plane. First and last time ever flying with Spirit."
