Jetblue has lost its touch. No customer service whatsoever
start the cooling system before passengers start boarding, that would have been nice. past this, it was another typically delightful and comfortable domestic jetblue flight :)

When I asked the person at the desk what gate I was to board at, he looked up the information as if I was asking him for the access code Chase's bank vault. He didn't even write it down even thought he had a pen in his hand. Apparently, at customers, we are not suppose to get this information and it's a burden on the employees to give it. Again the flight was late and while I know it was due to weather, we were seated in the plane and sat at the gate for more than an hour. Apparently, we were not cleared to be given an update. Once again, the speakers at the seat didn't work. Apparently, this is a constant problem with JetBlue"

Cons: "Experienced terrible delays (16 hours) and a cancellation on my initial flight (spent the night at LaGuardia) then had to take a taxi at 3 am to JFK to catch a flight which was also delayed, causing me to rebook. The return flight had 3 delays. I have never, ever experienced such terrible service and delays on an airline. In addition, the airplane on the return flight was dirty. It was a horrible overall experience! I don’t know if I will ever fly JetBlue again!!!"

Cons: "One of the main reasons why I chose Jetblue its because it is an ALMOST 4-5 star experience with great affordable ticket prices. Unfortunaltelly the ALMOST it is so, due such an important role such a host/hostess at the airport representing so poorly the company, EVERY TIME I leave from fortlauderdale airport. Once the check-in kiosk fails to complete to check you in (and I am ok with machines poor work) you are directed to a crew members in the counters. A host/hostess from jetblue standing in front of the counters, instead of greet you properly or showing some sort of degree of willingness to welcome you or help you tell you "yes, what do you need... ? That never fails! It feels like you are breaking in into a zone you are not suppose to be, and annoyingly you are disturbing these people. It so confusing why they have those attitudes, specially at that position, where you really need to clear up the bad weed in choosing your personnel. I think these few"crew members" can make a smooth transition to nightclub bouncers, where I'm sure will be a great fit."

Pros: "The ladies at the gate were able to provide us with the best updates and tried their best to keep everyone calm and answer as many questions as possible and were constantly checking for updates. They also provided water and chips for us where no one else was trying t do anything at all."
Cons: "The flight was delayed several hours due to mechanical issues in the cockpit. Why they would think we would want to fly on that plane after the pilot refused the "fix" and left because he and his crew "timed out" because we waited so long. Flight was scheduled to depart at 8:26pm, we didn't depart until well after 1am. I got home at 6am! The ladies at the gate were awesome, however the "supervisor, Armondo Gonzalez Figueroa, only came to restate what had already been said by the gate agents, did not have ANY answers, did not offer any solutions, barely answered any questions, and stopped the gate agents from removing blankets of the plane to provide to the many many passengers who were waiting there freezing. The compensation offered was a joke. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!"

Cons: "Yeah you offer low fares but what's the point when you charge $60 for me to carry my own bag onto the plane and store it myself ...that is just being greedy . The fact that I arrived checked in and was stopped at security entrance to go back into a ridiculously long line to pay for my carry on luggage is ludicrous-again showing your greed , if someone gets through at least set it up for them to pay at the gate and not have to stand in long lines -time is the most precious of commodities these days. Once in security line customer service was awful , people yelling out all the cant dos rather than assisting people through the line for efficiency. I asked an agent if he could move me in the line as my flight boarded in 30 min and he simply said I can't do that but you can ask someone if they will let you go ahead -ARE YOU KiDDING ME ? Any other airline would show concern and assist accordingly-it's called customer service Once entering the plane , it was dirty and had a fowl odor in the cabin. Could see trash and debris from the prior flight and this was a 7am flight! . Seat did not recline and no entertainment options . Have not had an experience like that in a while and I will for sure steer clear of your airlines in the future. Not trying to be harsh -but you got some work to do"

They pretend to be lowest fare, but given that they charge for EVERY LITTLE THING it actually ends up being just as expensive or even more than their competitors. They also don't have reclining seats at all, so you're uncomfortable the entire time, and on my most recent flight there wasn't even running water in the restrooms. By FAR the worst flight experience I've ever had."

Carry on cost 55 dollars each!!! No movies on board and even the cans of soda cost 7 dollars? The crew members are ghetto and they look sloppy and with beards and they all have different uniforms. They were fooling around the whole time and joking with each other as well as making faces behind customers back when passengers were asking questions or making them look dumb. Never again! And I will tell this to all my friends who travel frequently to not book with spirit airlines. The seats don't recline and there is no port for audio. If you want to sit together with your friends it's an extra 18 dollars a seat!? I'm very disappointed with spirit. The aircraft itself was very noisy. At the end of the day I spent more money with spirit then I would have with delta or JetBlue. Im a police officer in NYC and I will go back to everyone who goes on vacation (which is about 500 people or more) I know and tell them how disappointed I am."
Cons: "I know for a fact that I will never take a spirit flight again in my life and neither should you. I was supposed to leave Fort Lauderdale on Saturday at 11:30am. The flight kept being delayed until 6:30pm when passengers were finally told that it was cancelled. The runaround that Spirit gave us was absolutely ridiculous - literally. Due to the plane still being in Fort Myers and not being at the original gate they made us change to 3 different gates -E2, E7, G10- various locations within the airport. I am talking about one side of the airport to another. Finally, at the last gate 10, the plane arrives at 1pm but there was mechanical difficulties that had to be repaired. We boarded the plane at 3pm once the plane was fixed. We sat on the plane for 45 minutes before a Rep came on the plane to ask for 4 volunteers to give up their seats. Four people leave and another group of four people board. Captain tells us that they are searching for luggage and once that's finished we will leave. An hour later, still seated in the plane the Captain apologizes and says that he will let us leave the plane to stretch our legs because Laguardia has not cleared the plane for take off. At this point it is close to 5pm. We wait another hour and half of Reps saying they don't have info because apparently now there is a weather concern in NY that is causing the delay. I immediately call my husband to ask about the weather and he tells me it was sunny, 60 degrees, and it rained for 20 minutes. I get a feeling that Spirit is about to cancel this flight and even ask the Reps- they all say no the flights not being cancelled. After another hour and half wait they make the grand announcement that the flight is cancelled. If you thought that was the worst part of my day, think again. After chaos breaks out from the passengers we are told to find customer service at gate H5. Another trek trough the airport we reach customer service who is a lone Rep with a line wrapped around the corner. After waiting another hour to speak to her, she tells me the earliest flight Spirit could put me on is Tuesday night (remember it's Saturday night). I ask if there is a way to get on to other airlines and she tells me that it isn't spirits policy to find me any flight home. They could only reimburse me and I would have to book my own flight home. I leave the line and start searching for flights and it becomes clear that flights are booked going to NY. I eventually book a flight for the next day on United that leaves out of Miami airport, connects in Chicago and lands in Newark. I took this flight that was 3 times the cost of the Spirit flight, with connections, an hour and half drive from my house just so I could end the Spirit nightmare. Moral of the Story: For your sanity, to be treated professionally with consideration to your time, take any airline other than Spirit."

I gave up a ticket of 120 with south west which doesn't charge for luggage and I took the 110 with spirit and I ended up paying 210 !!! How nice !"
Pros: "Board flight. Fly to destination. I love the no frills, low luggage, easy on and easy off of this airline. My biggest feeling of stress on flights is the drink service. The cart is always blocking the bathroom, you are thinking of what free beverage you want the entire first hour, you spill some of it, then you have trash for the second hour of the flight. It's literally the worst part of flying other than the endless fear of death and facing your mortality with every hint of turbulence. This airline and others like it are amazing. No stress of awkwardly bothering your aisle mates with getting in and out when they just got a comp. cola. and you feel like you have to wait until they're done before you can go to the bathroom. Half the anxiety of flying is alleviated for me personally. Love this airline."

Pros: "No beverage cart clogging the aisle for the entire flight. Simplicity of the in flight experience. I like the idea of charging money for carry on bags, and no first class section. Those 2 things speed the boarding process immensely and get you out of the gate and off the ground. If you add the extra leg roam seat charge, the carry on charge, the price is still competitive with the other air lines. The boarding area at the gate was also organized and fast."

Before I bought the ticket I made sure that my carry on bag fits the requirements for the free personal item carry on. I get to the airport and apparently my bag was one inch too big because the handle was sticking out of the grey line an inch and I had to go back to the baggage drop off and pay for an extra carry on bag. Since a carry on bag is more expensive than an actually checked suitcase, I obviously checked my bag. Where do you pay more for carry on's than checked in luggages? Either way needles to say I could have packed an actually suitcase in the first place since I ended up checking my bag. Finally on the plane the crew was very unfriendly and unprofessional. They chit chatted and were busy fixing their hair, while passangers boarded. Didn't look right or left to say hi and greet people. As I made my way all the way to the back where I was sitting I have noticed that the aircraft was covered in bread crumbles and cookies on the floor and seats from the flight before. I cleaned my seat and sat down. Security instructions... nobody cared that the window shields had to be open for take off and landing nore that passengers were having tabletts and purses on their laps. The backrests weren't in an upright position at all. Next thing the pilot did not really speak that great of an english so that the flight attendant had to repeat what he said in order for us to understand it. She announced that all drinks need to be paid for including water coffee and tea. Wow... what an amazing flight. Never again, and I can definitely not recommand this airline to anyone else. Tickets are not cheaper than others the airport is very inconvenient and you have to pay seperatly for everything else which makes it more and more expensive and in the end you don't save at all but actually pay way more than jetblue for example for a poor service and dirty planes. I am evry disapointed well, rather furious I paid so much money and had to check in a personal item that is supposed to be free online."

Cons: "1. I checked-in at the Kiosk 2 hours before the flight. Had to pay for my seat. Not an exit seat, JUST A REGULAR SEAT. 2. I waited an HOUR AND A HALF to "drop off" my luggage, that I was charged $50 for. (by the by - you have a fee for a carry on as well) 3. When I got to finally drop off my bag, it was given a "Late Check-in" tag, per #2, I was NOT late by any means. 4. My luggage didn't make it to my destination AND they would not send it to me because I was "a late check-in" (refer to #2). So I had to wait 5 hours in the neighborhood (thankfully I was from there and had family to hang out with) to go back to the airport and pick up my bag. So, all in all, a $145 ticket would have actually cost me $260. Oh - and you don't even get WATER on board... you have to pay for that as well. If the Spirit airline folks were nice, that might have been okay, but cherry on top SURPRISE - they were rude, borderline hostile. I experienced anxiety on the fact that I had to fly back on this craptastic airlines, so I actually wound up booking a flight with another airline (don't know if I can say whom here - but think.... PlaneAzure) and they were AWESOME. All in all, my new flight only cost me an additional $15 (because I would have had to pay $50 for my one check-in and $13 for my seat - and I'm active military - nope, they don't care). I'm surprised I didn't have to swipe my credit card to pay to use the lavatory. Never, ever again."
