Cons: "I volunteered to gate check my instruments (which I NEVER do because it’s not my hobby, it’s my livelihood). When I did, I made very clear that I’ll ONLY do it if it’s handed to me at the gate when I arrive. It CANNOT go into baggage claim because it’s 2 $3000, left handed, vintage Paul McCartney basses packed in one bag. The gentleman assured me that I’d have it handed to me upon arrival. It isn’t designed to go through the rough handling of people I’ve never met or trusted. So I got to Denver and waited at the gate until someone told me, “oh no that’s gonna be down in baggage claim” Needless to say, I’m scared to death and I don’t even know where $6000 worth of instruments of mine, is right now. I wish people would communicate when they promise things."

We were late and the landing was horrible , I thought we were going to crash. On top of that we were late which was a big inconvenience to find out my flight was a four hour delay and I had to be at work. I'm very unhappy . No reimbursement , no change of flight no courtesy flight. This is my first time flying and I'm NOT impressed at all.! I watch the girl throw around our luggage with mine being damaged as I watched her throw my bag around .! That is unfair and by far the worst experience ever!"

Two days later. What was supposed to be a one day trip to get my kids to spend it with me in Colorado. Is now turning into a three day filled adventure in airports."
Cons: "I was in the center bulkhead seat with an very oversized man on the aisle seat with a "service dog". It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that."

Plus we were delayed 4 hours in this crappy airport only to get on a really crappy plane. We were supposed to arrive in Tampa before 10 but wound up getting in like a red eye at 1230 am. Lost out on our ride home and we were so exhausted. I cried most of this flight home 2 1/2 hour flight. Nice staff but crappy plane. I am waiting to get a call to get reimbursed for my loss of time at work and the missed ride home."

Cons: "New screens are nice, but $8 to watch TV for a couple of hours? Take a hint from JetBlue, United, STOP NICKEL AND DIMING CUSTOMERS! This on top of there being two solid rows of economy comfort seating open, and not letting us move back one row to the economy comfort seats since ours wouldn't recline because they were in front of that exit row. On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."

Cons: "My international flight terminal was a bit far from Silver terminal , I did arrive to counter check in , check me in and security was a bit messi, when finally arrived to boarding gate , and was waiting on the line , literally they did close the door and told me the plane was closed. Happened to somebody else also . Came back to counter and see the possibility to get on next plane at 2:50 and say is no chance . So I have to go by bus now . Very disappointing."

Now trying to get a refund and accommodations are poor. POOR customer service. No one seems to know or refuse to communicate with the airlines to resolve this issue."

For how small the plane was and how old it was and for the lack of accommodations in the distance of the trip my ticket was a bit too expensive at $345 round trip."

Cons: "Was talked down to as if I am stupid. I read the policy before booking my flight and purposely chose this carrier since it was half the price and its only an hour flight. However the stewardess changed the baggage policy that's clearly stated online forcing me to check my properly sized carry on. Then followed me to my seat and was told my personal item (backpack) also needed to be checked. Next time I will fly Southwest or JetBlue or just wake up earlier and drive. Not worth being late to my surgery in Tampa due to baggage policy for crying out loud."

The problem was the gate staff dud NOTHING to communicate any updates or what was occurring at any time!! A simple announcement or posting, would have kept passenger frustration at bay. My flight was supposed to arrive at my destination at 3:47pm, yet we didn't board the plane that was supposed to leave at 2:25 until 4:20, despite no weather delays or issues with the plane. The only explanation was the plane was "scheduled" to land at 3:47. Even better they only announced this change 5 minutes before our departure time, and we're very unapologetic about it, as though it's commonplace and completely acceptable. Don't fly Silver Airways, and be careful booking with United, as they will place you in one of these companies. it amazed me at how in the 4 hours I was there, I counted 3 flights that were delayed besides mine. Just horrendous all around."

Pros: "not a thing my flight from Ecuador was delayed and I missed my Silver connection after waiting in line for an hour they refused to help me get on another flight. The person at the ticket counter didn't care about me at all. I was just a number. They said JetBlue had to call them for me to get on another flight Jetblue wouldn't do this because It wasn't on my Itinerary. All Silver had to do was check the Jetblue status and they would of seen I was over an hour late into Ft. Lauderdale. However the ticket person refused."

When we finally boarded, the plane had to be refueled and the plane had to be started up by being jumped or something because one motor was not working normallly; this was a bit frightening. Staff was not even smiling, or even comforting when we boarded. Brief apology by pilot."

My second set of clothes for tomorrow came out of my bag because you get nickeled and dimed and then have to shove your " personal item(s) under your small seat...and iI am small ( 5'2 112 lbs)... now I do not have any clothes till I fly back home. I tried reaching Frontier- ni return call. I filled out form- nothing. I am honestly just so upset. I have never been in this situation and I do not know how to get my belongings returned."

And there was no entertainment except what we ourselves had, so don't know why that's even on the questionnaire. We did pay extra for the leg room, but only because we were doing a 1 way flight and were so miserable the last time we flew with Frontier years ago. Wish they would go back to the way they were when they first started."

In my arrival to check my bags for my flight is when I became aware of your 45 minute check in policy. If this is a policy you so strictly enforce, then it should also be just as strongly communicated to your customers. However the worst was the terrible customer service. The associates your company employ have no empathy for your customers and lack the proper respect for individuals that represent your company. I asked to speak with a manager who never showed up, after waiting 2 hours I was given an email address, which I did have to use to reach her. I lost the $179 I paid for a flight I missed, took time from work and didn't go on my trip."

It's a shame that first free meals were done away with, and now you can't even get a free cup of coffee or snack. And the excuse that your fares are cheaper than Delta, or other airlines, does not compute, because I still paid almost as much as a Delta flight would have cost."

Cons: "Flight was late for boarding. No updates were given as to why or what was going on. The gate agent looked like she had a miserable day and did not offer a customer service attitude. Once on board the seat didn't recline and was hard as a rock, not ideal for a 4 hour flight. The flight attendant (Christine) was short tempered. Crew lacked basic soft skills. This was the first and I am pretty sure the last time I will fly on frontier. While I appreciate the low fares I did not expect the low level of customer service or all the extra fees that are tacked on for seats, checked bags and a drink onboard."
Pros: "The flight was at the right time (overnight and arrived on time) and the price of the ticket was competitive."
Cons: "The seats and spacing between the rows was incredible. The quality of the seats were extremely poor and uncomfortable. The pull down tray was not large enough to set my IPAD."

I got to witness an employee at the gate conning a man into paying for an additional carry-on insisting his bookbag counted as a bag he had to pay for....excuse me...your website states that if the bag can fit under the seat, then it is not a carry-on that needs to be paid for. His bag could have easily fit under the seat and this employee took complete advantage of the fact he didn't know this. This airline makes me sick with the fact they have the need to nickle and dime every cent they can out of their passengers. Oh, and by the way you have to pay for in-flight beverages....that means the normal sodas/water/coffee you're used to getting as a complimentary drink are also a way for this airline to get a couple more pennies out of you. It's a good thing for this company that they understand exactly where they can take advantage of people who don't always fly, because if people knew about all of these things upfront, this airline would surely lose a lot of people. If you're going to try and be the "cheaper" more "affordable" airline then do so with honesty, hint the quotations I had to put on the words cheaper and affordable. Thanks, but no thanks, you've lost at least one customer here."

Tsk, Time waining, no pressure. Actually lots, Got to airport, tried to check in for boarding pass and inserted credit card after entering data. Nothing again, Oh, line at baggage claim filling up, but wait I'm way early, but still being stressed, next card works while both were good everywhere else. Thanks for asking for my opinion mechanism that does nothing or the process would have been easier form the start. oh and the one free carry on I paid $30 for cause rushed at the gate, have one on me! I understand maximizing out seats but this was way over the top. I will not be flying Frontier again"
Cons: "Both trips to and from were delayed over an hr. The trip to Denver was worse cause it ruined my next day because i was so tired from lack of sleep. I had two carry ons but didnt pay a dime cause i refused to when checking in. It was worth the risk of getting caught and then acting dumb. Everything was ok besideds the 6 hrs of delay time and the airline trying to trick me to pay for carry ons.l through the check in process. Just dont pay it and right in with your carry ons."

You have to pay for everything. I will pay for Southwest next time. The flight, after all the extra charges, was more expensive than the Southwest flight. I am very disappointed."

Cons: "Very unimpersonable....felt like I was just a ticket number. No drinks or snacks unless you have a credit/debit card to buy a soda and snack for 2 bucks, seats seem smaller and the "snack" tray was smaller than a book. But I guess since they don't offer drinks and snacks with your ticket you really don't need that tray. I had to purchase this ticket due to a death in my family and it was the least expensive, but if I had a choice it would have been with Southwest Airlines. At least they still make you feel human."

Meanwhile 4 technicians with small component screwdrivers came in and out of the cockpit OBVIOUSLY working on the avionics. This bold faced lie by the flight attendant not only caused distrust and unrest at the front of the cabin but they all sat around joking and hiding from the several hundred passengers that were becoming concearned and uncomfortable. This was a 10:30 flight from Miami to Tampa and we landed closer to 1:30 am after being lied to so we would not disembark costing the airline $$, and holding us for more than an hour promising we were just waiting on paperwork. Finally the captain said, as the passengers got more vocal that there was a problem with a system and that was the delay. After an hour!!!"

At 10:30 last night the flight was still delayed to fly out until 12:55 am, so I took a screen cap with my phone and hopped in the shower. I ordered an uber and got to the airport at 11:30 pm. When I got to ticketing there was only one spirit airline employee, who informed me that the flight departed at 11:30 pm and there was nothing she could do. I basically donated 8 hours of my time plus the cost of the ticket to Spirit airlines and now still have to find my own way home. I will never use the company again."

The female flight attendant was laughing and yelling down the aisle like she was at a crowded party and she was so loud on the plane intercom system that it annoyed the whole plane and couldn't understand what she said because so loud.
