Cons: "Plenty. It’s budget in every sense of the word. Everything is an upcharge. Seats don’t recline. Water ain’t free. No snacks. Seats are thin and you’re jammed in. The check in staff is pure amateur hour compared to traditional carriers. Baggage claim was a bewildering mess."
Pros: "Price was better than other carriers. Seats were adequate, comparable to other discount airlines. Flight attendants did a wonderful job. Flight on time and uneventful. Good experience."
Cons: "I'm still not accustomed to the "pay for everything" approach to flying. I paid the $20 for a seat up front, and shipped my bag ahead via UPS to save money."

The next time the 'cheap' ticket price draws me in - I will just add another $30-70 for a carry-on and/or checked bag which will make the price comparison more aligned."

Cons: "On international arrival at FLL, I found that, because Spirit's website had crashed repeatedly, preventing me from checking in online, Spirit proposed to charge MORE THAN THE COST OF RENTING A MID-SIZE CAR THAT WOULD REACH MY (nr. SRQ) DESTINATION SOONER, just for MY CARRY ON!!! Ticket is in trash."
Cons: "We arrived and would have made our connection and we had to sit on the tarmac for a long time. You ruined our anniversary. We will never fly Spirit Airlines again."
